RIP Sgt. Michael Paranzino / RIP CM
So I had originally started a thread for this show a few years back but I can't seem to find it absolutely anywhere in this section or in the archives or anywhere on the board in general, so I'm just going to start a new one. All Entourage-related discussion goes here, including obviously discussion on the new season which just made it's premiere tonight.

Great opening episode tonight. I absolutely loved last season and the developments in Vince's life (and I thought Sasha Grey did an excellent job throughout that season I sincerely hope we see her again on this show), but I was a bit disappointed by the fact that Vince was already seemingly over his drug problems from the beginning of the episode. I mean we saw some of his struggles at the end of last season, but the way he just got over it so quickly doesn't seem realistic to me. Hopefully they don't just forget about it like it was all just a bad phase for him for a few weeks or something.

Seeing Drama going OCD about making sure nothing even close to drugs or alcohol was in the house was hilarious, and I love seeing him be so over-the-top in the way that made us love him. I also love the character that Billy Walsh's character has taken since redeeming himself. I'm not as big a fan of the trial separation between Ari and his wife though, as I always liked that they were the one couple on the show that you could count on not to change. The house getting burned down like that at the end was crazy too, but they always like to bring them into newer, bigger places so it'll be fun to see where they go next.

Good episode tonight to kick the season off. Lots of directions the show could go in this year. Have at it all ye.

Oh shit I almost forgot, this is being billed as the last season of the show as well. So expect major things happening.

Danm new season started already? Sadly I no longer have HBO, so I won't be able to watch this final season as it happens (I hate dealing with torrents too) however that's fine as I missed most of last season too, which I literally just ordered & should be getting by the end of the week. I have always found that enjoy this show far more when I can watch several episodes in a row anyway.

I heard rumors that after this season they are possibly going to make an Entourage movie, not sure if that's true but I would love to see it.

I think it's going to be a big season. Expect things to happen quickly. Ari and his wife's separation definitely sucks. I actually feel pretty bad for the guy. As for Vince, I don't think he got over the drug thing as quickly as you think. It seemed to me that he was in court-mandated rehab. It takes time for the legal system to process and sentence, so there were probably a few months between the end of the seventh season and Vince starting rehab. And it was never put across to us that he was addicted. He simply made some bad decisions. I feel like Drama is going to have a meltdown at some point with his show. He's already worried about being upstaged, and we know he has anger problems. E and Scott are running Murray's old agency. Turtle is well but considering going back to single life. Sloane is turning into a bitch. My prediction? Everything works out in the end. You can't end a series on a sad note. Okay. You can, but not one like Entourage. The final scene will likely be the guys (probably Scott as well) standing on the roof of some hotel overlooking Hollywood with Vince saying some version of "We're on top of the world."

Another great episode this week, and the ball keeps rolling on. E and Sloan are pretty much officially done (maybe this time it will stick?) as Sloan was moving to New York at the end of the episode, meanwhile Ari is starting to realize that he may not be able to get his wife back from the separation, which is kind of sad. Turtle complaining about his girl not calling him back didn't do much for me though.

The addition of Andrew Dice Clay in this episode was rather humorous and he and Drama worked well together, chewing up the scenery around them. Not sure if Dice is going to be a long term character for this season or not, but who knows. Ari arranging a massive vendetta against Bobby Flay for seeing his wife was also some pretty funny stuff. Pretty good episode that may (or may not have) tied up some of the relationship loose ends. I'm thinking just about everyone is going to be single again by the end of the season and that will play right into the main theme this show has always had, and that's brotherhood. Bros for life and all that good stuff.

Yeah, good episode. Looking forward to see how they're going to tie this series up.

Love this show. I'm still amazed at the comeback it's made the last few years after that awful season four. Would've liked to see a bit more of the Vince recovery angle, but I understand there's only eight episodes this season and they'd rather the show close out by going back to its roots of the four guys having a good time. Piven's been incred thus far into the season (usually is, by far the best actor on the show) and I loved the scene where Ari's wife tells him she's seeing someone, sold that like a motherfucker. Only problem I've got is Dice Clay. There's enough actors out there that could easily fit the "in need of a career comeback" role that I think they could've chose someone that doesn't make me want to vomit everytime I have to see him act. Other than that I love the start this year's off to and look forward to the remaining six episodes.

Really great episode this week, which surprised me since I read a couple of somewhat negative reviews of the episode earlier today before watching it. We saw a lot of development with Ari's character as he's starting to realize again that he may not be able to get his wife back, and he tries his hand at the dating game again here finally for the first time since the separation. I thought it was nice he had a nice date with that younger girl Lloyd set him up with first, but I was really happy to see Ari go to Dana Gordon's house to vent to her and wind up sleeping with her. I've always loved the flirty banter between Ari and Dana and always wanted to see them hook up again, so I loved seeing this happen. They said it was only going to be a one time thing, but Ari looked happier than he has in forever so I'm kind of hoping that maybe it won't be a one time thing and they may actually try to start a relationship again. I don't know why but I'd really like to see that, even though I've always loved the relationship he's had with his wife.

The stuff with Andrew Dice Clay was okay, but again, nothing too special out of it. He wound up getting kicked off the show with Drama because of his demands for more money at the end of the episode, so hopefully we won't be seeing much more of him this season.

Best of all though was the storyline with Vince running into a guy who screwed him out of a movie once at a Narcotics Anonymous meeting and how he tried to help him out by giving him a copy of his script. The whole scene at the end of the episode where he and Turtle are in the guy's house and he's high as a fucking kite, snorting lines everywhere after relapsing and having revealed that the whole invitation to his house was a ploy to try and get Vince to sign onto a terrible script he needed to get done was the best part though. The fact that he wound up blowing his brains out at the end before they could get into the bathroom and stop him was crazy and totally unexpected. Just really well done though.

Great episode, can't wait to see where this season continues to head.
