Why You Should Endorse Ma As A Potential, Fellow Mod
As a "new member" I am not new at all. I've been around these parts in one form or another for years. I know the ins and outs, I know the rule book inside out, I know every section inside and out, and I have the determination and drive to make any section I am assigned that much better through my efforts and collaboration with other staff members. I would like to be modded to the Non-Spam Wrestling Section which can always use more help, I'd like to help. I can take some of the load off of the others, I can pay special attention to that TNA section that's been discussed here if it helps the others, and I can always help drive discussion, start new topics, help keep the section cleaned up and the rules enforced.
I think I probably want it more than anyone else as well because I feel that I have more to prove than anyone else. My perceived inexperience is the only real draw back for me, my experience is actually quite extensive and I'd love nothing more than the opportunity to show that against all odds and criticisms of the naysayers who think someone like myself who seemingly "Has only been around a month or two", CAN step right in, take the reigns, lead the horses to water, AND make them drink. I also have every intention of being a very diplomatic moderator, listening to people, taking their thoughts and criticisms into real consideration, and being a moderator that they can come to and feel confident that they aren't talking to a brick wall or that they have to be worried about upsetting and getting an infraction from as a result.
I want to help mend the fence between the regular members and the higher ups as they see it by being more accessible, more open, and more kind than they are used to. This does not mean that a firm hand will not accompany that in enforcing the rules. I bring a no nonsense attitude, but that does not mean that same attitude can not come with empathy, respect, and understanding. I also want to make sure that when I am moderator, people get a good dose of reality as it pertains to how they treat other people. I don't want people in my section to feel like they can't speak up and be heard due to trolls and people who are otherwise just disrespectful, rude, and outright mean for no reason. I believe that everyone should be encouraged to speak up and contribute because you never know when the next top quality poster is going to show up, and you don't want them silenced out of fear of being mocked, made fun of, or otherwise mistreated.
I submit this for your consideration. I am a heavy underdog in this but it's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog, and I am unwavering and relentless in my belief and knowledge that I am a prime candidate to be the next mod of this forum. Your support would help me greatly and show a lot of others that there is more to this than simple numbers. Thanks for the opportunity.
