Absolutely. These Senators can talk about votes, but folks are hungry for results. Part of the reason why Trump's "I run a successful business" schtick has gone so far, I think.

Indeed. Congress comes off as those people who shoot down ideas (often rightly so) but have nothing better to do to solve anything.

Yep. Also, as you continue to see from the Tea Party people, they want all this stuff but refuse to have a way to pay for it (read as: taxes). It doesn't work in normal life and it doesn't work in the government.

Going back to the stage being too full, the undercard was a better debate for the candidates. None of them are concise enough to beat the bell so they're not able to get their messages across that well.

The topic at hand sort of begs for meat and potatoes. We helped make this mess over there and we need to get it cleaned up ASAP.

Also Trump is flummoxed. Attacked from all sides. His national poll numbers will undoubtedly rise.

Indeed. Look at the Democratic debates with three candidates. You get actual debating and not a collection of soundbytes with 20 minutes between come candidates getting to talk.
