Alright, so I've been thinking of doing one of these for a couple of weeks, and since it's summer and I'll have some extra time, I think that I'll try it out, after summer, I'll see where it goes, and I'll figure it out from there. Now, let's get to it.

Back story: A huge WWE draft just took place, and all the rosters have been scrambled, and all of the titles vacated. I decided to use current and some non-Austin, Rock, Hogan etc. type past wrestlers.

The roster definitely looks different, and I am excited to see where it ends up going. It allows for some different scenarios. You got a good assortment of talent, and I will be watching to see how this goes. Good luck.

Raw

Week 1.

Mellon Arena, Pttsburgh PA.

An intro video comes on with all of the superstars on Raw, the pyro goes off, and the camera zooms in on Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler.

Ross: Hello, and welcome to Monday Night Raw, and since last night’s special WWE draft, our slate is clean, all of the titles are vacated, and we are 4 weeks away from Backlash. What do you think about the draft Jerry?

Lawler: I think that it’s a great opportunity for many of our superstars who have yet to hold gold to step up, and grab that golden ring.

Ross: I agree 100 percent Jerry, and to find out who the two competitors squaring off in the squared circle at Backlash, we are going to have an 8 man over the top rope battle royal to see who will have a shot at the WWE title.

Lawler: General Manager Stone Cold Steve Austin announced the participants earlier today, and they are as followed: John Cena, Alberto Del Rio, MVP, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Marcus Cor Von, Big Show, and Goldberg.

**This Fire Burns**

Ross: And speaking of…..

Punk comes down the ring with a mic; grinning happily, as he steps into the ring he looks around the arena, the crowd boos him heavily.

Punk: Well, if there’s one team worse than my Cubs, it’s the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The crowd boos more; even louder.

Punk: But that’s not what I’m here to talk about. No, I’m here to talk about the up-coming 8 man battle royal to determine the two men who will fight at Backlash for the WWE championship. Now I will be against John Cena, **crowd cheers** Goldberg, **crowd cheers even louder** MVP, **crowd boos softly** Alberto Del Rio, **crowd boos louder** Marcus Cor Von, **crowd boos even louder** Randy Orton, **crowd booing loudest yet** and The Big Slow, I’m sorry I mean show **mix of boos and laughter. Now, even though I don’t mind the last 5 that I mentioned, that won’t stop me from being one of the two competing for the title. Unlike the other 6 men, who probably went out partying the last week, I was at home in Chicago training, and focusing for this match, the WWE championship is my destiny, and…….

**Realeza**

Alberto Del Rio comes out honking a horn in a 2003 lamborghini murcielago worth $281,400$, as he exits the car, he shakes his head no, while pointing at CM Punk. He grabs a mic, as he gets into the ring.

Del Rio: Destiny? You want to talk about destiny? It’s been my destiny ever since I was a little boy to win the WWE championship? You want to talk about destiny?

CM Punk: Yes I want to talk about destiny; I also want to talk about throwing your annoying Mexican ass over the top rope later tonight!

They start a stare down, looking like they can’t wait until later in the night to lock up. Until……

**The Time is Now**

John Cena comes from backstage, salutes the crowd, and starts running down the entrance ramp, and slides into the ring.

Cena: Now before you two start cat fighting, **crowd lets out a small chuckle** let me make my case.

Punk: No! You know what Cena, I’m sick of you! I’m sick of your ego, I’m sick of your cockiness, I’m sick of your talking, I’m sick of what you stand for, and John Cena I’m sick of you!

Cena: Okay then this is awkward.

Suddenly Cena strikes Punk with the mic, and starts beating down on Punk. Del Rio interferes, and throws Cena off of Punk, and the assault begins. Punk and Del Rio start stomping, and pounding on Cena, until…….

**Invasion**

As Cena lays almost motionless in the corner, Del Rio and Punk are silently talking to each other, and giving directions to look around the arena, until he (Goldberg) come out. Goldberg rushes into the arena and starts punching Punk in the face. Del Rio tries to pull Goldberg off of him, but Goldberg just shoves off ADR. Goldberg then proceeds to punch Punk more, until he whips him into the corner opposite of where Del Rio is. Suddenly Goldberg spears Del Rio, and Cena gets up and throws Punk outside of the ring.

Lawler: Goldberg looks in top form tonight.

Ross: Again, I can’t agree with you any more King; now let’s send it to Josh Matthews backstage with Randy Orton.

Matthews: Thanks you JR, now Randy, I stood here watching you watch 4 of your opponents for later tonight take each other out. What’s your game plan going into this match?

Orton: I’m going to win Josh, that’s my game plan. **deep pause** Although, I wouldn’t mind punting John Cena in the head tonight either.

Randy smirks, as he walks out.

**Commercial break**

Match #1

Singles Match

Rikishi vs. Joey Mercury

Rikishi is in the ring, dancing; smiling, and then Joey Mercury’s music comes on.

**Paparazzi**

Mercury comes out onto the ramp with his swagger walk, and taunting the fans. When he gets up to the apron, he does his traditional entrance, takes off his coat, the bell rings, and we’re on our way.

Start: Rikishi and Mercury lock up with Rikishi taking and early advantage by using his strength and weight to push Mercury into the corner. The ref breaks them up and Mercury slaps Rikishi in the face, Rikishi slaps him back, followed by repeated shots to the face. Rikishi lets up by back peddling back to the center of the ring, and he starts dancing.

Ross: Rikishi always knows how to entertain a live audience.

Mid-match notes: Rikishi head butts Mercury 3 times causing him to sit down in the corner. Yes, you know what’s coming next, a stink face to Mercury, and after Rikishi finishes Mercury skimmers out of the ring, holding his face while leaning up against the announce table. Rikishi continues to dance inside of the ring.

Lawler: Mercury’s Hollywood face, just tasted Rikishi’s Samoan ass.

The ref begins counting, and Mercury makes it back into the ring at a count of 8. Mercury eats another savate kick, followed by a Samoan drop for a count of 2.

The finish: Rikishi pick up Mercury, and hits a side-belly-to-belly suplex on Mercury. Rikishi then drags him close to the corner, climbs the turnbuckles, and hits a banzai drop from the second turnbuckle, and gets 3.

Winner: Rikishi (4:03)

Rikishi celebrates by doing one of his dances in the ring.

Lawler: Nice win for Rikishi, now let’s send it to Vicki Guerrero backstage with Edge and Christian.

Guerrero: Excuse me! I’m here with….uhh…..Edge and Christian, who will be taking on The Miz and Tyler Reks later on tonight, as Miz’s partner The Big Show is competing in tonight’s battle royal.

Christian (whispering): Hey Vicky, is it awkward between you and Edge? I was just wondering because, you know there seems to be a little tension between you two.

Edge: C’mon Christian don’t joke about that.

Christian: C’mon her, I think there is.

Vicky: Shutup! I can’t wait to see you two lying on the ground motionless after Miz and Reks get through you two.

Christian: Is that what Edge was doing after you got off of him?

E&C walk off with Christian laughing and Edge with a blank look on his face. The camera zooms in on Vicky, with a look of much anger on her face.

Ross: That match will be up later, but up next we have Sin Cara taking on Sabu.

An ad for The Boogeyman on Raw comes up.

**Commercial Break**

Match #2

Singles Match

Sabu vs. Sin Cara

**Huka Blues**

Sabu walks down the ring, and does his traditional entrance, and then Sin Cara’s music plays.

**Ancient Spirit**

Sin Cara points to Sabu, and does his traditional ring entrance, as he flies into the ring, him and Sabu stare each other down.

Ross: I can’t wait for this match, boy Sin Cara is spectacular.

Lawler: Yes JR, this is a battle of an old school high flyer against a new school high flyer, so let’s see how this plays out.

Start: The bell rings and the two high-flyers are scout each other, Sabu starts it out with a kick to the ribs, and he bounces off of the rope and hits a face buster, pin, and Sin Cara kick out at one. They are now going back and forth with reversals, until Sabu hits and arm drag on Sin Cara. Sin Cara uses the ropes to pull himself up, and just as Sabu charges towards him, he pulls on the ropes, and Sabu goes flying, hitting his head on the table, as the “holy shit, holy shit” chants from the crowd break out.

Ross: Sabu’s a maniac.

Lawler: I’ll say, I never liked those ECW scrubs.

Mid-match-notes: Sabu is now busted open, and it’s badly. Sin Cara then shoots himself over the top rope only to meet a spinning back-kick from Sabu.

Ross: Wow, what a kick!

Lawler: I’m speechless now JR, it’s so early in the match, and these two are already laying their bodies on the line.

Sabu gets in the ring at 7, followed by Sin Cara at 8. As they each get up they start trading shots as Sabu pushes Sin Cara off the ropes, but miss-times a spinning back-kick, which follows by 2 muay-thai style kicks from Cara to Sabu’s back, and then two more to his front. Cara does a springboard moonsault off of the second rope onto Sabu, but just for a 2 count. As Cara picks Sabu back up, Sabu performs a standing hurricanrana onto Cara, which sets up a pin, but just for 2. Sabu does his signature taunt, and then climbs to the top rope, but right when he gets there Sin Cara climbs the ropes to meet Sabu, and goes for his moonsault side-slam, only for Sabu to push him off. Cara then gets back up, sprints up the ropes, and hits an enzuigiri on Sabu, followed by a huge hurricanrana off of the top rope!

**Commercial Break**

The show comes back on, and Sabu is on the top rope, and hits a leg drop onto Sin Cara, but Sabu has lost so much blood, and is to hurt to go for the cover.

The Finish: Sabu finally goes for the cover, and only gets 2. Sabu is in complete dis-belief, as he complains to the ref, and then he goes over to the corner for a breather. Cara then shoots back up, and rolls up Sabu for the 1, 2, 3!

Winner: Sin Cara (9:54)

Ross: What a, What a…..

Lawler: I know JR I’m speechless too, but I’ll finish your sentence. What a match!

Ancient Spirit hits and Cara goes over and taps Sabu on the back, while getting a huge pop, Cara acknowledges the crowd, and bows. Medics go over to Sabu to check on his deep red face.

Ross: Up next we have Edge and Christian taking on Miz and Tyler Reks followed by Justin Gabriel vs. Vladimir Koslov for the Intercontinental Title.

Lawler: I’m looking forward to those two matches JR, and then our main event is shaping up to look pretty good as well.

Ross: Yes, and next week, Stone Cold Steve Austin will be live in the center of the ring.

Lawler: Yes, can’t wait for that!

**Commercial Break**

Match #3

Tag Team Match

Edge and Christian vs. Tyler Reks and The Miz

Reks and The Miz are already in the ring, talking strategy to each other.

Ross: The Miz is going to have to adjust to having a different partner here tonight.

Lawler: Yes, and his current partner, Big Show, is probably preparing for his huge (no pun intended) main event match for later tonight.

**You Think You Know Me**

As Edge and Christian come out, they get a big pop from the crowd, as they walk out taunting The Miz.

The Start: The bell rings and it’s Edge and The Miz to start it out, and the two lock up. Edge backs Miz into Edge’s corner, and Christian gets off of the apron and sprints to the ring announcer area and gets a chair. As Edge distracts the referee, Christian hits Reks in the back with a chair, and then another shot to the face while Reks is on the ground, Christian shoves Reks and the chair under the ring to a huge pop. Miz is able to push Edge off of him to sprint to the corner, only to find no one there. Miz starts to complain to the ref as Edge tags in Christian.

**Commercial Break**

Mid-match notes: The show comes back on and Miz has Christian in a Boston Crab. Edge starts pumping up the crowd, and Christian is able to kick Miz off of him, but Miz pounces back on Christian before he can tag in Edge, and drags him down into the corner. Edge starts to complain to the ref as Christian low blows Miz to a huge pop from the crowd.

The Finish: Christians then sprints to his corner and tags in Edge. Edge runs over and knocks Miz down, as Miz gets back up, and Edge knocks him back down. What Edge and Christian don’t see is Big Show running (in his way) down the ramp and Tyler Reks getting back up from under the ring. As Edge shoots off of the ropes, Big Show nails him in the face with his fist. Edge is lying on the ring unconscious. The ref sees it and calls for the DQ.

Winner: Edge and Christian (6:19)

Edge is knocked out unconscious, and it’s now 3 on 1, instead of fighting back, Christian runs to the back as Reks gets to chairs. Miz instructs Reks to put one under Edge’s head, and give the other one to Big Show. Reks does what Miz said, and Big Show hits a con-chair-to onto Edge as Christian is sitting; holding his head on the entrance ramp.

Ross: No, no, no, dammit! Dammit!

Lawler: I wonder how Christian is going to rebound after this attack by Reks and Show-Miz. Up next we have Vladimir Koslov vs. Justin Gabriel for the Intercontinental Championship.

**Commercial Break**

Match #4

Singles Match for the Intercontinental Title

Justin Gabriel vs. Vladimir Koslov

**Pain**

Koslov comes out to a very soft heelish reaction, as he gets into the ring, Gabriel’s music hits.

**End Of Days**

Gabriel comes sprinting out of the entrance ramp to a huge pop, and springboards over the top rope into the ring.

Ross: This young stud Justin Gabriel looks more than ready to win his first singles championship here in WWE.

Lawler: JR, I’m just ready to see our first NEW champion crowned right here tonight, now let’s get to it.

The Start:
The bell ring and Koslov repeatedly punches Gabriel into a corner, and then hits a head butt, as Koslov starts to back off, Gabriel hits a head kick, and we’re rolling.

Mid-match notes: Koslov just knocked Gabriel down to the mat and Gabriel gets up at a count of 5.

Ross: Koslov is looking good so far, eh King.

Lawler: Well I don’t understand how you can take him down, I mean his head has the same amount of strength as a brick wall.

Ross: Well I don’t know about that King, but what I do know is that we are staying with you until the finish of this match, yep that’s right no commercial breaks this match.

As we get back to the match, Koslov covers Gabriel just for a 2 count. Gabriel gets back up and goes for a spin kick, but Koslov catches it! Koslov then takes him down and mounts him. After a few big shots, Gabriel is able to roll the big Russian over, and get back to his feet. Gabriel than sprints over to the ropes and hits a springboard cross body, he know feels it and is really pumped up!

Ross: Do it Gabriel, win the championship!

Gabriel climbs the turnbuckles, and goes for a moonsault, but Koslov moves, but Gabriel lands on his feet only to meet a big boot from Koslov. Koslov than picks up Gabriel and hits a fall away slam.

The Finish:
Koslov pins Gabriel, but pulls his back up at two, (even though it seemed as Gabriel would kick up anyway) and picks him up to go for his barrage of head butts, but before Koslov can get a good grip on Gabriel, Justin pushes himself off and hits a spinning back kick. Koslov is still on his feet, and then Gabriel hits the Russian with a super kick! Gabriel climbs the turnbuckles and hits a 450 splash!

Lawler: Yes, yes, yes, he did it! 450 splash!

The crowd counts with the ref, 1, 2, 3!

Winner: Justin Gabriel (8:37)

End Of Days hit, and Gabriel is on his knees, nearly crying to a huge pop. The ref hands him the Intercontinental Title, and Gabriel climbs the top rope to celebrate.

Ross: Gabriel won, Gabriel won!

Lawler: He did it, but the night’s not over; we still have our 8 man battle royal which is up next!

**Commercial Break**

The show comes back on with Maria standing backstage with MVP.

Maria: Hey guys, I’m here with one of the 8 participants of the upcoming battle royal MVP. Now Montel……

MVP: Sweet Maria, there’s nothing to be said. All I’m going to do tonight is just flat out ball, and that’s it, and at Backlash, I’m coming for that title.

Maria blushes as MVP heads towards the entrance ramp.

**I’m Comin**

MVP comes out in his normal basketball-type entrance, and is looking very cocky.

**Voices**

Orton looks very focused, and is just completely ignoring the crowd.

**This Fire Burns**

Punk comes out to HUGE HEAT, but he just ignores it.

**Realeza**

ADR comes out in the same car as before, and also to the same heat as before. ADR is grinning the whole way down the entrance ramp.

**Smooth**

Cor Von comes out looking very focused, not taking an eye off of the guys in the ring.

**Invasion**

Goldberg comes out to a huge pop, and does his normal punches and kicks pyro-type entrance.

**Crank It Up**

Big Show comes out to the biggest heat of the night.

**The Time Is Now**
Cena comes out to the biggest pop of the night.

The Start: The bell rings and the 6 heels are attacking the two faces, but Cena and Goldberg are able to fight them off for the most part. Orton is focusing on Cena taking him to a corner and starting to pound on him. Orton stomps a mud hole on Cena as the other 6 are brawling all throughout the ring.

Ross: This match has started off good, but we have to go to commercial.

Lawler: I can’t wait to see the two winners!

**Commercial Break**

Mid-match notes:
As we get back Orton and Cena are still brawling, and Goldberg has laid out everyone else except for MVP (there are still 8 remaining though, Goldberg just knocked them down, just trying to avoid confusion), and just as Orton is running up to punt Cena, Goldberg spears him out of nowhere, and Orton is on the mat laying motionless for Cena to hit a 5 knuckle shuffle, and go sit in a corner. Cor Von then comes out of nowhere and hits the pounce on Goldberg, and then Cor Von eliminates Orton. Randy Orton is eliminated (5:46). Big Show is now up, and hits head butt on Cor Von. He then goes over to Cena, and lifts him up for a military press slam, but Cena is able to squeeze out and push Big Show over the top rope. Cena got some help from Christian who sneaked out onto the apron, and pulled the rope down as he saw Big Show coming. Big Show is eliminated (7:27).

Ross: Yes! Yes! That’s payback Show, that’s payback show!

Lawler: Calm down there JR, don’t want your belt to pop.

Big Show is now fuming, and he’s chasing Christian all throughout the crowd, but couldn’t catch up to him. Now, back in the ring Goldberg hits a jackhammer on Del Rio, and CM Punk is battling for position with Marcus Cor Von, then out of nowhere Punk just throws Cor Von out of the ring. Marcus Cor Von is eliminated (8:33). Punk is celebrating as were down to five, only to meet an Irish Whip by Goldberg into the corner, MVP interferes and gives Goldberg a face buster, and then goes for a drive by kick to CM Punk, but Punk ducks and then throws MVP to the outside. MVP is eliminated (9:03).

Ross: There goes MVP.

Lawler: Yep, if he were to hit that kick, we would have a whole different ballgame.

Now down to four, ADR hits an enzuigiri on Cena, and attempts to throw Cena out, but Goldberg interferes, and hits a military press slam on Del Rio. Goldberg than kicks Cena in the gut and attempts to whip him into the corner, but just meets an Attitude Adjustment. All 4 men are down for a while, and when they get back up the brawling spreads between the four until Punk lifts Del Rio up on his shoulders, looking to go for a GTS, but instead throws him out of the ring. Alberto Del Rio is eliminated (15:47).

Ross: Only 3 remain, who will be the two men to go to Backlash, we’ll find out after this.

**Commercial Break**

The Finish: We’re back and Cena and Goldberg are teaming up to try to eliminate Punk, but Punk scrambles out and hits a muay-thai head kick on Cena, and a savate kick on Goldberg. Punk is now standing alone, with Goldberg and Cena lying on the mat next to/below him. Punk is now smiling and walks towards Goldberg, but then goes back towards Cena, picks him up, and hits a GTS on him.

Ross: Punk is now taking control of this match

Lawler: It’s not over until you start singing JR, haha.

Ross: Shut up, King.

Punk then picks Cena up, smiles and slaps him in the face, taunts him and then Cena hits him in the face, only for Punk to throw him out just seconds later. John Cena is eliminated (22:08).

Winners: Goldberg and to CM Punk (22:08)
Ross: Goldberg and Punk are going to Backlash. Goldberg and Punk!

Punk raises his arms in victory only to turn around and eat a huge spear from Goldberg! Goldberg than proceeds to stand over Punk and make the title sign around his waist.

Ross: Goldberg! Goldberg! Goldberg! Goldberg!

Lawler: That’s it for tonight, tune into Smackdown this Friday for more WWE action, bye.

One final shot of Goldberg celebrating with the fans on the entrance ramp.

Here, I'll give you a review, but I want to touch on the main points first. I'm glad you did use some formatting, but it was still kind of off. The first thing I suggest you do is align the text to the center of the page, that way it looks even and in the middle. Secondly, it doesn't really add anything by using the "start", "mid-match", and "finish" stuff when you could just right it all together. Make sure if the match is long enough separate it into paragraphs, but you don't need to separate it in different parts, if anything it hurts because people know when the finish is coming, which throws away any surprise and suspense. Other than that, the match writing is pretty good, it could use a tweak or two here and there, but they are things that come with experience and your writing of matches is good at this point. And finally with the formatting, it's nothing completely major because I can still read your show, but one thing you could also do, is if you write the matches and speaking parts in regular text, write all the details, like transitions, details about the environment, and crowd reactions in italics. It makes stuff easier to read.

The only real problem non-formatting, is I suggest using more promos. Promos can be the most fun parts to write and they help develop your character. Your lack of them really hurts character development so far. Include another interview or maybe a backstage segment or two, and another in-ring segment or two. It will really help develop your characters and make the program seem more realistic. And you might consider adding more detail to them if possible, they are kind of short. Can't really get much of a feel for the character with all these short promos. Other than that, match wise and stuff, the show seems pretty good.

Now for a review, we start with C.M. Punk. And he starts with insulting the city, nice cheap heat to start. And he delivers a good enough promo so far, mixing in some of his trademark humor. And here comes Del Rio, I liked the transition from Punk talking about destiny to Del Rio, which is a catchphrase of his. And Del Rio sort of challenging Punk about Destiny in a way, and nice comeback by Punk. Classic Punk line, I had a laugh at that. And here comes Cena. Cena with a couple good short lines, and Punk firing back again. "Okay, then this is awkward." Lovin' all three guys here and brawl time! Punk and Del Rio working with each other after arguing with each other doesn't make a lot of sense, but I guess the enemy of my enemy is my friend, or something like that. And here is Goldberg! He's back in the WWE, and taking on all challengers, and he looks impressive.

And another promo before a match, this is like TNA! Haha, but here we go with Orton. And Orton keeps it short but sweet, but I can feel his cold, heartless persona here, as he just wants to punt Cena in the head and win.

Short squash for Rikishi up next, works well enough. And E and C are back, and Vicki is a backstage interviewer? Okay then. Christian breaking out the humor, and I like highlighting the past between the two. Edge doesn't know how to react to this. And Vicki is clearly angry. Nice little promo work, I didn't feel it went anywhere, but nice little humor from Christian.

Sin Cara vs. Sabu. This match should be solid. I like the fast pace being kept here and nice spots in the early going. I don't see the need for blood in this match, seems kind of pointless and for shock value, but it's your show. More spots as this is somewhat a spot fest, but this match doesn't seem to be setting any long-term stuff up so it's good, and it's entertaining. Nice psychology back in the ring, as Sabu has lost too much blood to keep going, and Cara with the win, putting over the young talent well.

Two more matches? In a row, well, can't say your skimping on the in-ring stuff, but like I said, more promos wouldn't hurt, and spread the promos and matches out evenly. And we find out we get Stone Cold next week, that could end up with a big announcement, who knows?

Tag Team action and we get an average little TV match here. And interference by Show, a stable of sorts here? Show gets Miz DQ'd, but he and his partner are looking good here, along with Reks, especially since he was booked elsewhere tonight. And Christian leaves Edge to dry? That's not very partner like. How is this going to go down as the weeks pass?

Gabriel and Kozlov, nice to see both men in the mid-card. And a good match here, and Gabriel goes over in the end. Glad to see a push for Gabriel, and it seems we have our first champion. Gabriel should be interesting solo, let's see how it goes.

MVP promo coming up here, and once again short but sweet. We get his main intentions though, and a little bit of his character shines through. And main event time. Solid battle royal here and with big implications. Surprised to see Orton go early, and Cena doesn't advance. But from Orton's early comments I expect to see something develop between the two later. Interesting choice for the final two, and a feud between these two will be different, but it could be very entertaining. We will see where it goes.

Overall, for the first show, it was pretty good. Just take my advice into thought and good luck with the project as you continue. The show was good though, and I'll keep reading. Good job for now.

I'll touch on main points, since Sign Guy already covered most of the stuff I had in mind. Firstly I don't like the format, having the match broken up isn't something I enjoy seeing in a thread. Instead of having mid match, end part of match, just put it all in one titled summary. Makes the whole thing look better and the better the format, the more people will stop by to read the product. A simple trick of using bold can improve the format. I suggest you check out GCB's WWE for the right type of formatting and something easy to read.

Secondly I would like to touch on the promo's. You are coming along but you still have a fair way to go. A promo is the biggest thing in making a BT successful. If you don't write a good promo in the end the project will fail. Just keep reading the advice people give, watch stuff on youtube and you'll get better.

I felt the show ended to quick for the big finish you played off. Having Goldberg stand alone was fine but after JR is yelling at the top of his lungs with excitement, King just says bye. Kind of an anti climate to what he heard from JR just moments before. Little things like that separate the top line of the projects and the others. Think about how the announcers would be feeling. King wouldn't just say bye.

For the first show I was expecting less than what we got. You started to get storylines rolling, which can be hard when you start blank like you have. You are going to need to use every show to help the angles and gain interest. Good start to the thread, I hope you stay and improve on the booking.

Week 1

Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

An intro comes on, and the cameras cut to Michael Cole and Mick Foley at the announce table.

Michael Cole: Good evening and welcome to Smackdown, hi I’m Michael Cole, along with this hardcore freak Mick Foley, and here tonight is the start of our 8 man heavyweight tournament where the two finalists will compete against each other in a steel cage match next week.

Mick Foley: Yes Cole, and I remember way back in 98 where I was in a championship tournament to crown a champion from a vacant title, I lost in the finals to The Rock at Survivor Series, but you can’t say that he won very cleanly.

Cole: Yeah whatever Foley stop living in the past. Our bracket is shown as followed. It will be the winner of our first match The Undertaker vs. Batista taking on the winner of John Morrison vs. Sheamus and on the other side, it will be the winner of Mark Henry vs. Kane taking on the winner of Big Daddy V vs. Booker T. Now let’s get our first match started.

Match 1

Singles Match; Quarterfinal match in the heavyweight title tournament

Batista vs. The Undertaker

**I Walk Alone**

Batista comes out looking pumped, and does his traditional entrance routine, and as he walks into the ring, he waits for The Last Outlaw.

**Ain’t No Grave**

Taker’s music hit, and comes down very slowly; not taking a single eye off of Batista.

Foley: You know Cole, I remember when these two met at Wrestlemania 23, the buildup was…..

Cole: Dammit Foley, I told you to stop living in the past, all that matters is that both of these cavemen need to know when it’s finally time to hang it up. For Taker I thought…..

Foley: Just shut up and watch the match, will you?

The bell rings and were under way, Taker starts off with some strikes, but they show little effect on Batista as he just pushes taker away. Some more strikes by Taker, and then and Irish whip into the corner by Batista, Batista follows that up with a big splash, and then another whip into another corner, and another splash. Batista follows up by a missed big boot which Taker reverses into a running DDT which leaves both men on the ground. Taker up at 3; Batista at 5, as Batista goes for a spear which is countered into an attempted hell’s gate, but Batista is able to grab the ropes, as Taker releases the hold at 3. As Batista gets back up, he attempts to clothesline Taker over the ropes, but Taker pulls down on the ropes, which causes Batista to fall to the ground below. Taker than hits a diving splash over the top rope, which leaves both men out on the outside as the ref starts counting.

Cole: That’s vintage Undertaker.

Foley: You know Cole, you never told me exactly what “vintage” means.

Foley: Just call the match Mick.

**Commercial Break**

We’re back, and Taker has Batista set up for old school, and Undertaker hits it.

Cole: In addition to the tournament tonight, we will also have Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero take on my old broadcast partner JBL and his protégé Joe Henning in a match to see who will face either E&C or Show-Miz in a little over 3 weeks at Backlash.

Foley: Speaking of Backlash, it’s a Raw only pay-per-view (except for the tag match so far), so I will have the pleasure of just watching it backstage.

Cole: Just call the match Foley, jeez can I please get a real color commentator out here.

Back in the ring, Taker is on one knee, while Batista is swing his huge fists at his back. Batista picks Undertaker up and hits a spine buster. Batista goes over and shakes the ropes, possibly signaling a Batista bomb, but what he doesn’t see is Taker sit up behind him, and when Batista turns around, he eats a chokeslam from Taker. Taker does the rest in peace signal, and hits a tombstone piledriver on Batista for the 3 count.

Winner: The Undertaker(9:41)

Cole: Undertaker is moving on!

Foley: It was a good match Cole, it will be fun to see who Taker will face next round.

Cole: For once I can agree with you Foley, now let’s send it backstage to Josh Matthews with Sheamus.

One final shot of Undertaker looking at Batista, and then does one more rest in peace sign **crowd pops loud**

Josh Matthews is standing backstage with Sheamus, who has a very confident look on his face.

Josh Matthews: I’m standing here with Sheamus who in just moments will face off with John Morrison to see who will take on The Undertaker in the semi finals of our world heavyweight title tournament later on tonight, Sheamus, any thoughts on Morrison?

Sheamus: I think John Morrison is a little pretty boy, who grew up gifted. You see Josh; I grew up on the mean streets of Dublin, Ireland, where I would get into a fight everyday as a young lad. John on the other hand grew up in a big house in Los Angeles or born with a silver spoon in his mouth as you Americans say. John, I know you’re getting ready for our match, but I want you to listen and listen closely. I earned my shot here, I tasted gold already, and you haven’t. I hope all that rage you posses, you let it out on me, because you’re going to need to have a lot of anger and rage to get through me, and prevent me from being a 3 time world champion.

**Commercial Break**

Match 2

Singles match: quarterfinals in the heavyweight title tournament

John Morrison vs. Sheamus

**Ain’t No Make Believe**

Morrison comes out with a very focused look on his face, he does his traditional slow motion entrance, and gets into the ring, leaning on the ropes waiting for the Celtic warrior to come out.

**Written In My Face**

Sheamus comes out and does his normal entrance, as he enters the ring, all he does is smile at Morrison.

The bell rings, and we’re under way, Sheamus looks to lock up, but Morrison just starts to kick him in the mid-section. More kicks come, but Sheamus eventually drives his knee into John’s mid-section. Morrison shoots off of the ropes, but is met by a power slam by Sheamus. Sheamus stands up and taunts Morrison and the crowd, until Morrison gets back up and hit more kicks to Sheamus. Morrison eventual ducks under a Sheamus clothesline, and hits a Russian leg sweep followed by a standing moonsault, but only for a count of 2.

Cole: I just don’t see why Morrison would go for such a huge risk like that standing moonsault so early in the match, it could easily harm him.

Foley: I think he knows what he’s doing Cole, well at least a lot more than you.

We cut back to the action as Sheamus just whipped Morrison into the corner. Sheamus goes for a big splash, but Morrison ducks and hits a Leg Lariat. Morrison is setting Sheamus up for something, as Sheamus sits up; Morrison hits a running knee to Sheamus who manages to roll out of the ring to avoid a pin. Morrison is setting Sheamus up something; taunting Sheamus. As Sheamus stands up, Morrison hits a suicide dive to the outside. **Fan threw a drink at Morrison while he was flying, which led to a huge pop and the fan being told to leave**

**Commercial Break**

As we get back from the commercial, Sheamus and Morrison are slugging it out until Morrison blocks one of Sheamus’ strikes, and hits another leg lariat. Morrison than goes near the ropes and waits for Sheamus to get up and hits a diving cross body, only for it to be countered into a cloverleaf by Sheamus. Morrison is screaming in pain, as he attempts to reach for the ropes. Just as it seems Morrison is about to tap, Morrison reaches for the ropes, and grabs them. Sheamus releases the hold at three, and backs up. After Morrison gets up to a ref’s count of 4, Sheamus delivers a brogue kick, that sends Morrison backwards; over the ropes.

Cole: Wow, what a great showing by Sheamus so far, we have to take another break. We’ll come back to find out how Sheamus puts away Morrison.

Foley: So sure already Cole?

Cole: Actually Foley……

Foley: I don’t care.

**Commercial Break**

We come back to Sheamus clubbing forearm shots to Morrison’s back, as Morrison is taking a huge beating now. **Crowd pops loudly for Morrison** Morrison feeds off of the crowds reaction, and kicks Sheamus in the gut, then bounces off the ropes, only to meet a big boot by Sheamus. Sheamus is setting Morrison up for the Celtic cross, as he lifts him up in the air; Morrison escapes it and hits a neck breaker. Morrison realizes this is his chance, and sets up, and hits starship pain.

Foley: Starship…….Pain from Morrison! 1, 2, 3!

Foley said it all, as Morrison pinned Sheamus with a huge pop from the crowd.

Winner: John Morrison (15:40)

Cole: Consider Morrison lucky, hey John!

Morrison celebrates his victory, holding his chest in pain, as he looks over to Cole.

Cole: John don’t think that you’re going anywhere, you are just going to be pray for the Undertaker to feed on later tonight, until that good luck.

What Morrison doesn’t realize is Sheamus is getting up from behind, getting ready to brogue kick Morrison, until a gong goes off and the lights go out. A couple seconds later Sheamus is back on his back, and Morrison is nowhere to be seen.

Foley: I think Undertaker wants Morrison in the best condition possible Cole.

Cole: Which is still bad, as much as I don’t like both of them, I just can’t stand John Morrison, he is everything that I stand against, and I can’t wait until Taker feeds on him in less than one minute later tonight.

Foley: You do that Cole, but coming up next we will have a true battle of big men, as Mark Henry will take on Kane.

**Commercial Break**

Math 3

Singles match: Quarterfinal in heavyweight title tournament

Mark Henry vs. Kane

**Some Bodies Gonna Get It**

Henry comes out looking very sweaty and mad; he has a mic in his hand, and starts talking a little before he’s half way down the ramp.

Henry: Cut it, cut the music! Tonight, I’m going to make a statement, I’m going to take out the monster Kane, and then I’m going to take out either Booker T or my good friend Big Daddy V. Than, next week here on Smack down, in front of all of you, I’m going to win the world heavyweight championship, and there ain’t nothing y’all can do stop me, because I’m not only the worlds strongest man, no, no, no, no, no, I’m the worlds baddest man.

**Man On Fire**

Kane comes out looking very mad(as usual), as he gets into the ring, he does his normal pyro, and Henry doesn’t even flinch, when Kane’s music cuts, Henry walks right up to him, and they stare down with a little trash talking here and there from Henry.

Bell rings, and Kane hits Henry with a huge uppercut, which causes Henry to back off, Henry hits Kane with an elbow followed by a straight, an uppercut, and another straight by Kane. Henry then pauses, and exits the ring to get a lead pipe. As Henry enters the ring with the pipe, he is warned by the ref that he’ll be DQ’ed if he hits Kane with the pipe. Henry then shoves the ref away, but eats a big boot from Kane.

Cole: I like the strategy from Henry.

Foley: What strategy Cole, in my opinion Mark Henry is scared of the big red machine.

Cole: Scared? Mark Henry is the worlds strongest and worlds baddest man. He is just trying to get inside of Kane’s head, which is clearly working.

Henry then hits a forearm shot on Kane, followed by an Irish whip into the corner, followed by a running elbow drop. Henry then goes over and grabs the pole, and shoves away the warning referee and hits Kane in the head with it! The ref calls for a DQ, and the bell rings multiple times. Henry than starts assaulting Kane’s body with the pole, and than taunts him some more. Henry calls for a microphone with the crowd giving him some major heat.

Winner: Kane(2:42) by DQ.

Henry: You see that! Did you see that? I’m putting the whole roster on lookout, I’m coming, and nobody is going to stop me!

Cole: You see Foley, now that’s making a statement, I like the direction this Mark Henry I going.

Foley: I agree with making a statement Cole, but he lost the match.

Cole: Whatever, well ladies and gentlemen, up next we have Big Daddy V taking on Booker T in our final first round match up.

**Commercial Break**

As we return, we see Big Daddy V in the ring with Matt Striker, as Booker T’s music hits.

Match 4

Singles match: Quarterfinal in heavyweight title tournament

Big Daddy V vs. Booker T

**Rap Sheet**

Booker T comes out smiling, looking very good, and not intimidated by Big Daddy V’s size. Something also to note is that Team Swagger is not by his side.

Cole: Booker’s going to get squashed, literally, I can’t wait.

Foley: I wouldn’t say that so soon, Booker has beaten big guys before.

Cole: Yes, he has Foley, but none as big as Big Daddy V.

The bell rings, and we’re under way, as Big Daddy V runs Booker into a corner, and starts shoving his abnormally large body into Booker’s chest.

Cole: I don’t think anyone can see how gigantic Big Daddy V’s body is, it’s just honestly something to see.

Foley: He is quite a big guy there Cole. I agree.

Daddy now has Booker up for a military press slam, but Booker escapes it, and starts kicking Daddy’s leg, bringing him to two knees and than Booker hits him with a super kick on the chin. Booker goes for a pin, but Daddy throws Booker off of him like a toy at the count of 2. Booker is waiting for Daddy to get up, as Matt Striker yells at him to get up, and as Daddy gets up, Booker goes for another super kick, but Daddy catches it and head butts Booker which causes him to back off, and than another head butt causes Booker to fall onto the ground on his back.

Striker: Finish him! Let’s go bug guy.

Daddy does his V sign, and goes for his elbow drop, but Booker manages to get up at the last second. Booker than hits a missile dropkick, and goes for the pin, but only gets two. Frustration is visibly frustrated, as the crowd is behind him, he sets up for the scissors kick, but just as Booker is about to do the kick, Big Daddy hits a spinning side slam. Big Daddy goes for the pin, but only gets 2. Big Daddy is signaling for his ghetto drop, but just as he lifts Booker up, Booker finds the strength in him to hit a book end. *Crowd pops loud, and counts with the ref** Booker pins him after a long rest, 1, 2, no! Daddy hardly kicks up.

Cole: Booker waited just to long.

Foley: I actually agree Cole that was not too smart by the Book man.

Booker is in shock, and scrambles back into a corner, as Big Daddy V sits up, and Daddy gets up to a refs count of 2, and Booker to a count of 3. Booker is now way more than pumped up, as he starts to chop and punch Big Daddy V, chop and punch as it keeps going, but after a punch, Daddy returns a punch, and hits a side belly-to-belly suplex. Daddy than waits for Booker to get up (which he does, at a ref’s count of 6), and Daddy hits a ghetto drop, and then goes for a pin, 1, 2, 3.

Winner: Big Daddy V (7:36)

**Some Bodies Gonna Get It**

Right when Matt Striker climbed in the ring to celebrate, Mark Henry comes out with a belt in his hand. Henry climbs in the ring, and starts to whip Booker T with the belt. After whipping him 4 times, he offers the belt to Big Daddy V, Daddy pauses for a minute, and then accepts it and starts to whip Booker as well. After Daddy whipped him 8 times, he gives it back to Henry, and Henry grabs his shoulder, and says take care of Kane. Daddy nods his head, and Henry whips Booker 4 more times, before walking off; laughing. Team Swagger (R-Truth and Ryder) come out to check on Booker.

The Raw rebound comes on which includes Goldberg spearing ADR to begin the show, Justin Gabriel winning the Intercontinental Championship, and Goldberg and Punk winning the battle royal to go to Backlash followed by Goldberg spearing Punk to end the show.

**Commercial Break**

We come back to the show, and Eve Torres is seen backstage about to interview Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero.

Eve: Hi, I’m here with Chavo Guerrero and Rey Mysterio right before their match with JBL and Joe Henning to see who will go to Backlash with a chance to win the undisputed WWE tag-team championships.

Chavo- Yeah that’s right Eve, and Rey and I would like to dedicate this match to my Uncle Eddie. Eddie, we know you’re up there looking down on us; rooting for us, and we won’t let you down.

Rey: Also, JBL, you think that just because you hired a “young stud” that you two can break the hearts of Chavito and I, you’re wrong, because we are going to go out there, win this match, and than win those title at Backlash, no matter who steps in our way.

Eve: Well good luck guys, I’ll be cheering for you here in the back.

Chavo: Viva La Raza! Let’s go Rey.

Match 5

Tag team match: Winner gets a undisputed tag team title match at Backlash

Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero vs. JBL and Joe Henning

**Longhorn**

JBL’s limo comes out, and JBL and Joe Henning exit out of it and make their way to the ring.

Cole: You know, I love what JBL is doing to this you Henning, he’s mentoring him to be something great, just like he mentored me to be the best commentator in WWE history.

Foley: I wouldn’t go that far Cole, in fact I bet I can find any random arena worker, and he could still be better than you.

Cole: Foley, I’ve think you’ve taken a bit too many shots to the head to make that statement.

JBL and Henning enter the ring, awaiting Chavo and Rey.

**We Lie, We Cheat, We Steal**

**Crowd pops very, very loud** Rey comes out to the entrance ramp without Chavo by his side, but then Rey points to the backstage area, where Chavo eventually comes out in a low rider, and drives it right next to the ring apron.

Foley: The low rider, what a moment right now.

Cole: Yeah, well…..

Foley: Cole, I think that you have to realize that it’s not your place to talk right now.

After Rey and Chavo play around with the fans, the bell rings and it’s JBL and Chavo starting it off.

JBL starts it out by out-powering Chavo by bringing him into a side-headlock, followed by a takedown from that position. Chavo is able to roll out, and we’re back to a neutral position. JBL goes for a running shoulder block, but Chavo is able to slide threw his legs, and go for a German suplex, but he can’t lift up the obviously heavier JBL. Once Chavo lets go, he dropkicks JBL’s left leg, bringing him to one knee, and then hits a DDT, leading up to a tag to Rey Mysterio.

Mysterio comes in with a senton onto JBL, and goes for the pin, but Henning comes in, and breaks it up at 2. Chavo then come sin and drops kicks Henning, and clotheslines him out of the ring, which distracts Mysterio, allowing JBL to hit a swinging neck breaker followed by multiple elbow drops. Henning gets on the apron, and JBL tags him in, and Henning starts out with a leg drop on Rey which goes for a count of two. Joe then puts in a Boston crab, which takes Rey a while to escape, but eventually does, but just as he was about to tag in Chavo, Joe puts him back into the Boston crab. Once again, after Rey is locked in it for a while, he gets some inspiration from the crowd, and escapes the hold, but once again can’t tag in Chavo, and eats an inverted DDT from Joe onto Rey.

Cole: Looks like JBL and Henning have the early advantage; we’ll see how they finish Rey and Chavo when we get back.

Foley: Again with the early assumptions Cole, I can’t believe you.

Cole: To quote your former tag partner Foley, know your role, and shut your mouth.

Foley: You know, I wouldn’t mind if he came back for one night just to lay the smackdown on your candy ass.

**Commercial Break**

We come back, and we get a recap of Henning tagging in JBL, and JBL hitting a fall away slam during the break. Now we see JBL setting up Rey for a power bomb, but Rey escapes it, and hits 3 leg kicks on JBL followed by bouncing off of the ropes into an inverted running bulldog.

Foley: Now it’s Rey’s chance, you might as well call it a match if JBL can get a tag in and Rey can’t.

Cole: You better start singing Mick hahahahahahahaha.

Foley: You know Cole, I’m pretty sure I heard that joke on Raw not to long ago, I wonder which color commentator you stole that from.

JBL tags in Henning, and Rey finally tags in Chavo, Chavo comes out firing, throwing rights, then lefts, then rights and lefts. Chavo then bounces off the ropes and hits a Spinning Tilt-a-whirl head scissors takedown, followed by two European uppercuts, causing Joe to get out of the ring. Chavo tags in Rey as Joe enters the ring, and takes a dropkick to the knee, followed by an Irish whip by Rey off of the ropes that leads to another drop kick to the abdomen. What Rey didn’t see (and only the ref did in the ring) was that JBL got in a blind tag, and hits a big boot on Rey. JBL than drops 3 elbows, and picks Rey up, and yet again goes for a power bomb, but just as JBL was about to lift him up, Rey ducks under JBL’s legs, and dropkicks him, with his chin hitting the top of the middle rope. You know what’s coming, 619! **crowd pops, almost vibrating the arena**

Foley: I can fell myself vibrating from that 619.

Cole: C’mon John get up.

Rey than hits a springboard senton, and then plays to the crowd and tags in Chavo, who climbs to the top rope and hits a frog splash!

Cole: C’mon John get up!

As Chavo goes for the cover, Rey dropkicks Joe outside of the apron, and the ref counts, 1, 2, 3!

Winners: Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero (8:50)

Rey and Chavo embrace in a hug as their music plays, and they know that they are one match away from winning tag team gold.

Foley: Rey and Chavo are going to Backlash; they are going to represent Smackdown in winning the tag team titles vs. either Edge and Christian or Show-Miz for the titles.

Cole: I’ve got to admit, it was a nice win, and it will be a nice story, and good for Smackdown’s rep if they can win those titles at Backlash.

Foley: You see Cole, having a heart isn’t so hard, right, hahahaha?

Cole: Please don’t push it Mick, please.

One more shot of Rey and Chavo signaling for the belts, and pointing to the Backlash sign under the titantron.

An ad for Backlash comes on.

**Commercial Break**

The show comes back on with the camera zoomed in on the announce table with Cole and Foley.

Cole: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time to start the semi-finals of our championship title tournament.

Foley: That’s right, and out final two matches of the night will be Kane vs. Big Daddy V up next, and then John Morrison will take on The Undertaker in our final semi-final match up and last match of the night.

Match 7

Singles match: Semi-final in championship title tournament

Big Daddy V vs. Kane

**Rap Sheet**

Big Daddy V comes out not only with Matt Striker, but also with Mark Henry, who is carrying a lead pipe, and wearing a belt around his ring gear.

**Man On Fire**

Kane comes out with a chain now! Henry and Striker are trying to keep as far away as possible from Kane as he lays the chain in one of the corners of the ring, opposite from where Henry’s pipe is.

The bell rings, and Kane and V have a long stare down.

Foley: Now for those watching at home, not to long ago, Kane and CM Punk had a long; good course of matches against Big Daddy V and Mark Henry.

Cole: NOW Foley, Punk is main eventing our next pay-per-view Backlash, facing off against Goldberg for Raw’s WWE championship.

Foley: That he is Cole that he is. He has gone a long way since his short partnership with Kane.

Daddy now has Kane caught in a corner, but eats an uppercut by Kane. Followed by a straight right by Kane, as he tries to whip Daddy, but Daddy reverses it into a whip into the corner of his own. Daddy then bounces off the ropes, and hits a splash on Kane in the corner. Daddy than side slams him, and goes for the cover, but brings Kane up at 2. Daddy then mounts him and starts hitting, until he goes off of him voluntary. Daddy then hops up on the first rope, then slowly climbs to the second, and hits a splash on Kane!

Cole: Wow! That’s almost 500 pounds falling on Kane.

Foley: I can’t believe it, what a splash.

Cole: 1, 2, no! What? How did he kick up from that?

Foley: Never doubt the big red machine Cole, I’ve learned that throughout the years.

As Cole and Foley said, Kane did kick out at two, and Daddy as well as Striker and Henry can’t believe it. Big Daddy V is now very fatigued, that splash took a lot out of the big man, so he picks Kane up, and goes for the ghetto drop, but Kane elbows Daddy’s head, causing Daddy to break the hold, which leads Kane to bounce off the ropes and hit a big boot, which doesn’t knock his opponent down. Kane than hits some straight rights, which leads Daddy into a corner. Kane hits an uppercut, then runs towards the other corner, and hits a big splash on Daddy, and then he does it again, which causes Daddy to stumble, Kane then sets up for a chokeslam, grabbing Daddy by the throat and then, with all of his might, he chokeslams Daddy knocking him down to the floor. Kane just lays on top of him for the 3 count.

Winner: Kane (5:58)

As Mark Henry enters the ring, Kane goes and grabs his chain, telling Henry to back off. Henry backs off; dragging Big Daddy V out of the ring, which causes Kane to laugh, and do his traditional fire pyro.

Cole: I got to admit, Kane defined the odds, well my odds at least, and defeated the beast known as Big Daddy V, and will compete in the steel cage match next week on Smackdown.

Foley: Coming up next, we will find out who will who he will face as John Morrison squares off against the demon of Death Valley up next.

The camera moves to John Morrison, inside of his locker room. Morrison is icing his mid-section, and rubbing his left knee, feeling the strong pain. Rey Mysterio then enters the locker room.

Rey: Hey John, how are you feeling?

John: Pretty rough, Sheamus really hurt me that last match, but congratulations on your win though, you and Chavo looked great out there.

Rey: Thanks, but that’s not why I came, I came to wish you good luck, and Chavo and I will be watching your match very closely, so good luck.

John gets up holding his ribs, and they shake hands.

John: Thanks, I really appreciate it.

**Commercial Break**

As we come back from the break, John Morrison’s music hits.

Match 8

Singles match: Semi-finals in heavyweight title tournament

John Morrison vs. The Undertaker

**Ain’t No Make Believe**

Morrison comes down the ramp, and does his traditional entrance. He has a small limp, but nothing too noticeable.

** Ain’t No Grave**

Cole: Morrison is getting fed to The Undertaker here, Sheamus took Morrison to the limit, and now the demon of Death Valley is going to clean up the scraps.

Foley: Now, I know what it’s like to face The Undertaker, and I tell you, the Friday night delight will be pushed to his limit in this match.

Cole: Like he hasn’t already.

Taker does his normal entrance, and his cold eyes have been glued to Morrison’s face ever seen he came out.

The bell rings, and Undertaker immediately starts with shots to the body, which causes Morrison to roll up in pain. Morrison strikes back with some kicks and Morrison than knocks Taker down with a dropkick to the face. Morrison goes for the pin, but Taker kicks up at 1.

Cole: We’re going to have to go to commercial, but we’ll get back to you.

Foley: Right now it’s looking good, we’ll be back right after this.

We come back with Undertaker setting up to hit his guillotine leg drop on Morrison, which causes Morrison to slide under the ropes, and fully back into the ring. We recap of Undertaker dominating the match in and out of the ring, as Taker hits a standing elbow drop on J-Mo. Taker is now holding his hand up, and signaling for a chokeslam.

Cole: Looks like Undertaker is trying to end this one early, yet again why wouldn’t he?

Foley: Your right, I don’t see why not.

As Morrison gets up and Taker grabs Morrison’s throat with his hand, Morrison kicks Taker in the gut, bounces off the ropes, and hits a swinging neck breaker. Morrison then waits for Taker to get up, and goes for a springboard cross-body, but Taker catches him, and slams him to the ground, which seemed to make a big impact on Morrison. Taker starts to stomp on him, picks him up and grabs his arm and eventually hits old school. Taker continues to stomp on him, until he bounces off the ropes and hits a standing leg drop. Taker than sets up for a chokeslam, and when Morrison gets up, he hits it. Taker now delivers the rest in peace signal and when he picks Morrison up, Morrison escapes, and tries to lock in a sleeper hold on The Undertaker. After a little bit, Taker reaches the ropes, and Morrison is forced to break the hold, but not without Taker hitting him with a back elbow. Taker then turns around, and hits Morrison with a big boot. Taker covers him, but Morrison somehow finds the strength within him to kick up at 2. Taker is now clearly made, and quickly picks Morrison up and whips him into a corner, followed by a splash, then snake eyes, and another big boot. **crowd pops loud** Taker decides to go for hell’s gate, but Morrison is able to grab the ropes. Taker than gets up and kicks Morrison’s hand off of the ropes, drags him to the middle, and locks in hell’s gate. After a few seconds, Morrison is somehow able to flip over, and eventually escape the mount Undertaker had on him.

Foley: He did it, he escaped The Undertaker’s hell’s gate. John Morrison just escaped The Undertaker’s hell’s gate.

Cole: He got lucky; Taker has to be a little tired too.

Taker’s eyes are red, he is in complete shock. Morrison walks up to Undertaker, holding his fists in the air, and Taker whips him off of the ropes, and Morrison goes for a spinning heel kick, but Taker ducks it, and Morrison slides across the ring. **crowd chants this is awesome** Morrison gets up, runs toward Taker, but gets hit with a shoulder block. Taker picks him up, and hits a back elbow on Morrison, which causes him to back into a corner, Taker than hits another back elbow, and then some rights and lefts (punches) which eventually causes Morrison to sit down against the turnbuckles. Taker, than retreats back to the other corner, and then hits a running knee to Morrison’s temple. Taker drags Morrison to the center, and goes for the pin, 1, 2, no! Morrison kicked up again.

Foley: The resiliency Morrison is showing is just unbelievable; man this guy’s got a heart.

Taker takes a minute to rest, as he stands up to a ref’s count of 6, as Morrison gets up at 9. Taker than kicks Morrison in the gut not once, but twice, and goes for a last ride. As Taker lifts Morrison up, Morrison is able to escape, and winds up back to back with Taker. Morrison than gives Taker a neckbreaker, and quickly goes towards the corner, and hits starship pain. **loudest pop of the night from the crowd** Morrison pins The Undertaker, 1, 2, 3.

Winner: John Morrison (15:32)

Foley: No way……

Cole: No! Are you serious?

Foley: He did it out of nowhere Cole, just like last match.

Cole: It was literally the exact same sequence.

Morrison climbs the ropes and poses for the fans, he is smiling wide, and he will be facing Kane next week on Smackdown for the world heavyweight championship, inside of a steel cage. Taker than gets up, and turns Morrison around after he gets off of the second corner that he was celebrating at. Taker shakes his hand, and then the gong goes off, and the lights go black, and seconds later, Taker is nowhere to be seen.

**Man On Fire**

In the middle of Morrison going back to celebrate, Kane comes out, and just points at Morrison before he starts laughing. Kane then does his signature pyro, and his music plays to finish off the show.

Cole: Morrison; Kane, steel cage, next week only here on Smackdown.

Foley: We’re going to crown a new champion, next week.

One final shot of Kane on the entrance ramp.

Welcome to Book This, mate.

First off, I'm put off immediately by the lack of formatting. Jeez, it's a wall of uninspiring red or blue. You need to use the bold, italic and size functions to break this up a little. Maybe an image or two? I've only read RAW, I can't be bothered with reading SMACKDOWN as it looks right now. You need to sort the formatting, big time.

Anyway, RAW. Goldberg back. Could be good if done well. I don't want to see a dominant Goldberg, lets have something different with him. In the Battle Royal later, Goldberg feuding with Cena/Orton/Punk would be good. Hope that he doesn't win. But I think he might ...

Rikishi wins against Mercury, Sin Cara wins against Sabu. My problem with these is not the matches or the outcomes, it is just that there is no sign of where these are leading. Promos need to be used better to show what the significance of the matches are. Same with E&C against Miz/Tyler Reks. Where is Big Show? Why? I need to have more detail to get interested in the matches. As it is, I am not interested so I scan to the finish and check the winner. You need more detail in your promos and matches to garner some interest.

Goldberg and Punk win it. So they meet at Backlash. OK. Looking forward to how you build it up. Advice - read around. You need to sort the promos out as they are adding not much IMO. You need to sort the formatting. Check other BT's and how they are easier on the eye than yours.

Decent start, lots of improvements to be made but the first show is always the worst. I hope it improves as you move on! GCB

Week 2

TD Garden, Boston, Massachusetts

An intro comes on, and the camera cuts to Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler ringside.

Ross: Good evening ladies and gentlemen, I’m Jim Ross, and alongside Jerry “The King” Lawler and this is Monday Night Raw!

Lawler: That’s right JR, and tonight, Stone Cold Steve Austin, our general manager will step inside the middle of the ring, and speak.

Ross: Also tonight, we will have one of the number one contenders Goldberg take on Randy Orton in our main event. We will also have the new Intercontinental Champion Justin Gabriel taking on Tyler Reks, and as well as Show-Miz vs. Edge and Christian to have the right to face Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero for the unified tag team championships at Backlash.

**This Fire Burns**

Punk walks down the ramp with a very angry face on him, as he steps into the ring, he grabs a microphone.

Punk: Now, this has been an up and down week for me. On the upside, I was one of the two winners in the battle royal last week, and I’ll be main eventing Backlash. **crowd boos** On the downside, I’ll be facing Goldberg **crowd cheers loudly** and another downside is that Goldberg did this to me last week.

The titantron shows Goldberg spearing Punk from last week to a huge pop from the crowd.

Punk: Goldberg, now that **crowd chants Gold-Berg, Gold-Berg, Gold-Berg, Gold-Berg** shut up! **Crowd chants some more** Now, as I was saying, Goldberg now that you have a match with Randy Orton tonight, and I don’t have a match tonight, I suggest……

**I Won’t Do What You Tell Me**

Stone Cold comes out in his trademark ATV, riding around the ring to a HUGE POP from the crowd, he grabs a mic before entering the ring.

Austin: So your main eventing Backlash. **WHAT!** I didn’t come out here to talk about that though. **WHAT!** I came here to talk about two things. **WHAT!!** One is that you don’t the night off tonight son, **WHAT!** tonight you will be facing off against Sin Cara, and that match will be next, but after I’m done talking. **A mix of WHAT! Along with cheers** Another thing I came out here to talk about is the hardcore championship, something that Teddy Long and I are bringing back, and at Backlash, we are going to have a fatal-4-way hardcore match to find out who will claim the vacant title **WHAT! Cheers** Now, even someone as stubborn as Teddy Long agreed with me that Sabu and Sandman are two of the nastiest sons of bitches this industry has ever seen! **WHAT!** We each said that Sabu and Sandman will automatically be in that match, and the other two competitors will be figured out tonight, and this Friday on Smackdown. **WHAT!** Tonight, it will be Smackdown’s Tommy Dreamer **WHAT!** Taking on Raw’s Snitsky **WHAT!**

Punk: What?

Austin:
WHAT! **WHAT!** You heard me, now let’s get Sin Cara, and a damn referee out here, and let’s start this match.

Punk: What? **WHAT!** Shut up! **WHAT!**

Punk is now enraged as Sin Cara’s music hits.

**Ancient Spirit**

Cara comes down, and does his trademark entrance, as he gets into the ring, and points at his opponent, CM Punk.

Ross: What a huge announcement by Austin, he is taking over Raw, and bringing back the hardcore division, and its crowned prize, the hardcore title!

Austin gets a few beers, and leaves on his ATV; smiling and laughing.

Match 1

Singles Match

CM Punk vs. Sin Cara

The bell rings, and Punk takes his shirt off, and locks up with Cara. Punk gets a headlock on the masked Mexican man, but Cara bounces off the ropes, and is nailed with a spinning wheel kick from Punk. When Punk attempts to Pick him up, Sin Cara hits a reverse up-kick to Punk, causing him to scramble back into a corner, Cara than pounces on him and hits 10 punches on the ropes, with the crowd counting at every one. Cara turns around and plays with the fans, but Punk re-controls himself, and starts punching and elbowing the former luchador. Punk then whips Cara into the corner, and hits a flying knee followed by a bulldog. Punk goes running for the cover, but only gets 2.

Ross: Will one of the number one contenders for the WWE title CM Punk get the win here, or will Sin Cara be able to pull off the upset? We’ll find out next.

Lawler:
O, I can’t wait JR, just like I can’t wait for our main event between Goldberg and Randy Orton later tonight, let’s go.

**Commercial Break**

We come back with CM Punk locking in a single leg Boston Crab on Sin Cara, but after a while, (and a little help from the crowd) Sin Cara is able to escape the hold, only to meet a head kick from Punk. Punks covers Cara, but only gets two. After some more back and forth action, including some great kicks from the two men, Sin Cara bounces off of the ropes, looking for a cross-body, or take down of some sort, but is caught by CM Punk, and Punk hits a GTS for the 1, 2, 3.

Winner: CM Punk (5:55).

Punk hardly celebrates the win, but instead calls for a mic.

Punk: You see Austin, I can beat ANYONE that you put in front of me, I'm out, see you all next week in even more of a trash city than Boston, Memphis.

Punks leaves. **crowd gives him (Punk) major heat.**

**Commercial Break**

The show comes back on, and Alberto Del Rio’s music hits.

**Realeza**

Del Rio comes out in a 2006 Bugatti Veyron worth 1,400,000$.

Lawler:
You know JR, I think that’s one of the most expensive cars Alberto Del Rio has ever come out with.

Ross: I agree with you king, over 1 million dollars that car is worth.

Del Rio enters the ring, and grabs a mic, while carefully handing over his white scarf to Ricardo Rodriguez.

Del Rio:
Hola! Como estas? My name, my name is Albertooooooo Del Rioooooo, but you all already knew that! Now tonight, tonight I am facing off against John Cena in a one on one match. Now John Cena, I came out to tell you, that you have no chance tonight. I came out to say that after Backlash, no matter if it’s Goldberg or CM Punk who wins that championship match, I will be the number one contender, it’s my destiny.

**The Time is Now**

Cena comes out all fired up, and salutes the crowd on his way into the ring. As he gets into the ring, with a mic in his hand, he smiles.

Cena:
You know Pablo, or Juan, or whatever your name is, **crowd pops** you said a couple bold statements there, and they’re statements that I don’t agree with, or appreciate.

Del Rio: John, listen I am going to take you out tonight, I am going to make you tap out, and also my name is Alberto Del Rioooooooo.

Cena:
Your name is Paco Alvarez?

Del Rio:
Alberto Del Rioooooooo!

Cena: Diego De Alamo?

Del Rio:
Alberto Del Rio.

Cena:
O, Alberto Del Rioooooooooooo never heard of him.

**Voices**

Randy Orton comes out with a sly look on his face, as the crowd boo’s him. He enters the ring with the mic, and starts to stare down Cena, with Cena returning the staring right back.

Orton: John Cena, last week in the battle royal, if it wasn’t for Goldberg, you would be in a hospital with a concussion because of me John. That almost happened, and you escaped, but don’t feel too lucky…..

Cena: Okay Randy, we’ve done this before, the thing is, no matter whether you like it or not, I’m better than you, and don’t use Goldberg as an excuse Randy, you didn’t punt me, because I didn’t let you. I never will let you punt me!

Orton:
Cena, I suggest you watch what I do to Goldberg tonight, because at Backlash, I want you in this ring, one on one.

Orton attempts to walk out of the ring, but ADR taps on his shoulder, and Randy turns around.

Del Rio: Wait, John Cena is mine; I am going to take him out tonight, so that he can’t make it to Backlash.

Del Rio walks up to Cena, and points to his face.

Del Rio: I will see you later, you poser. **crowd boo’s loudly**

As Del Rio turns around to exit the ring, he eats an RKO from Randy Orton; Cena then pounces on Orton; hitting him and punching him like we’ve never seen before Cena whips Orton off the ropes, but Orton stops and slides out of the ring. Cena then shouts at Randy to come back into the ring. Cena then picks up the microphone that ADR was using.

Cena:
Del Rio, I’ll see you later tonight, and then and only then Randy Orton, will I consider your offer for Backlash.

Cena then taunts to the crowd, who’s giving him huge pops, Cena talks to some of the kids ringside, as we go back to The King and JR.

Ross: There is definitely some major heat between those three in there. Wouldn’t you say King?

Lawler:
I agree with you JR, there is so much tension between those three, with Cena and Del Rio facing off tonight and possibly Orton and Cena at Backlash, but we’re not 100% yet I guess JR.

JR: I agree King, you should be proud of yourself for that point you just made King.

Lawler: Okay then, I am proud of myself, anyway, up next we will have Edge and Christian take on Show-Miz to see who will face Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero for the tag team championships at Backlash.

We cut backstage to Edge and Christian in their locker room; getting ready for their match.

Edge: Hey man, why did you leave me out there to get con-chair-toed last week? What's up with that?

Christian: Well, I didn’t want both of us at below 100% for our match this week. You see, just basically call it "taking one for the team".

Edge: C’mon Christian, taking one for the team my ass, there’s got to be something else.

Christian:
No man, listen this is important really. When was the last time we won the tag titles? Huh. A really long time ago. 2001, it was 2001 when we won our last tag team titles, and since then, we haven’t been the same. This is our chance bro, even if it means you eating a con-chair-to for the sake of us being healthier as a team, then that’s just a risk that we’ll have to take.

Edge: I get you, really I do really get you, c’mon let’s go out and beat these punks.

They touch fists, and after the knuckle touch Christian finishes getting ready, and they just walk out.

An ad for The Boogeyman on Raw comes up, we’ll see him live next week.

**Commercial Break**

We come back to zoom in on JR and The King.

JR: It is now time for Edge and Christian to take on Show-Miz to see who will face Mysterio and Guerrero for the tag-team titles at Backlash.

Lawler: There is some bad blood going on between these two, now let’s get to the match.

**You Think You Know Me**

Edge and Christian come out looking confident, they tell the crowd that it’s their time.

Ross: Remember last week on Raw, after E&C beat Tyler Reks and The Miz by DQ after Big Show interfered, Reks, Miz, and Show gave Edge a con-chair-to, after Big Show knocked him out with his punch..

Lawler:
You have got to wonder what type of condition Edge is in after that attack last week, and whether Christian was telling the truth were he said it was just “taking one for the team” as he said earlier tonight JR.

Ross: He’s telling the truth, he has to be.

**Crank It Up**

Show-Miz come out pointing at E&C, as E&C start making fun of Big Show’s weight.

Match 2

Tag Team Match: Winner gets a shot at the vacant titles at Backlash.

Edge and Christian vs. Show-Miz

The bell rings, and we’re under way, Big Show and Christian start it off, but Christian tags in Edge, Edge then immediately returns the favor by tagging back in Christian. Christian then tags in Edge again, but Edge doesn’t stand for it as he tags back in Christian; Big Show is now very tired of this and hits a double clothesline on them. He then brings Christian to a corner, and hits 3 chops on him, before bouncing off the ropes, and clotheslining Edge out of the ring.

JR: There seems to be some miscommunication between Edge and Christian right now, we’ll see if they can clear it up after this commercial break.

**Commercial Break**

We come back with The Miz now in the ring, beating up on Edge in the corner. We get a highlight video of Big Show tagging Miz in during the commercial break. Miz than fake whips Edge into his corner, and then back into his corner, with Edge hitting the turnbuckle chest first. Miz tags in Big Show, who hits big forearm shots to Edge’s back, causing Edge to curl up in pain. Big Show than whips Edge into the ropes, but Edge ducks under the Big Show’s attempt of a big boot, only to eat a head butt to the chest on the way back.

JR: Edge is taking a huge beating here in this match, he desperately needs to tag in his partner Christian.

Lawler:
It’s not looking good for E&C right now JR, you also have to take in effect Edge’s injury sustained last week.

Big Show than tags in Miz, who hits a forearm shot to Edge’s neck (while Edge was still on the ground). Miz than gets a chin lock on Edge, bringing him to the ground for a little while. Edge is trying to get the crowd into it from inside of the ring, as well as Christian from the ring apron, Edge escapes the chin lock, and is able to hit an inverted DDT on The Miz; cover, 1, 2, no! Miz got up at 2, Edge runs towards his corner, and pounces, and is able to tag in Christian, while Christian stops Miz from tagging in Big Show, Christian hits a couple of right hands followed by a poke in the eye. While the ref goes over to warn Christian, Edge gets off of the apron, and sprints towards the other corner, and hits a low blow on Big Show, causing the giant to fall off the apron. When Miz goes over to check on them, Christian sends Miz over the tope rope, with Christian following him, with a suicide dive through the ropes.

Ross: The action is getting taken to the outside.

Lawler:
What a suicide dive by Christian, that was very impressive!

All four of them start brawling on the outside with Christian and Miz still being the legal men as the ref starts counting.

**1!!!!**

Edge and Big Show start brawling on the entrance ramp, as Christian whips Miz into the apron, followed by a low blow by Miz, and then Miz returns the favor, and whips Christian into the apron, followed by more shots by Miz.

**2!!!!**

Edge and Big Show are now up by the titantron, and Christian now hits Miz with a low blow, followed by and attempted whip into the pole, which was reversed by Miz; whipping Christian into the pole.

**3!!!!**

Big Show whips Edge into the bottom of the titantron screen. Miz and Christian keep battling over to the announce table, with Miz grabbing Christian’s neck.

**4!!!!**

Miz then smashes Christian’s head against the announce table.

Ross: The action is now coming right in front of us.

Lawler: Oh, and there goes Christian’s head, off of our announce table.

Big Show than picks up Edge on the other side of the arena, and headbutts him.

**5!!!!**

Ross: These teams have got to be careful, or else they’ll be counted out.

Lawler: I really do wonder what would happen if they both get counted out, that would be something.

Show then throws Edge into the bottom of the titantron.

Christian is able to break free from Miz, and pick up a lead pipe, and take a swing at Miz, but miss.

**6!!!!**

Miz kicks Christian in the abdomen, and then drives him head first into the bottom of the announce table.

Show picks up Edge and brings him to the edge of the entrance ramp, looking over some tables, and electrical equipment.

**7!!!!**

Miz goes over to take a chair, and tries to hit Christian in the back with it, but Christian moves out and hits a non-running spear on Miz.

Big Show sets up for a choke slam on Edge down the entrance ramp, and grabs his (Edge’s) throat.

**8!!!!**

Christian looks for his lead pipe, and picks it up, while Miz slowly gets up and looks for his chair, finds it, and picks it up.

Big Show attempts to lift up Edge, but Edge spits in his (Big Show’s) face, and get out; Edge than slaps Big Show across the face.

**9!!!!**

Miz and Christian both swing their respective objects at each other’s head, they both connect, and Miz is unconscious on the outside, and Christian is knocked down, but he is also trying to get back to his feet.

Back to Big Show and Edge, Big Show starts running, and tackles Edge down to the tables and equipment that stand down there below, bringing his body down in the process.
**crowd is roaring**

**10!!!!**

Winner: Double count-out (7:56).

Christian starts to stand up, as he realizes that the other 3 men are all laid out unconscious all around the arena. Christian goes over, and grabs the referee; asking who wins. The referee said no one, and Christian shoves him down, and he starts pacing all around the ring. He keeps pacing until…..

**I Won’t Do What You Tell Me**

Christian waits for Austin to come out, but he doesn’t come down to the ring, he comes up on the titantron.

Austin:
Christian, you just fought your fucking ass off out there, **what** but you didn’t win, **mixture of boos and what from the crowd** yet they didn’t win either. **mixture of pops and what from the crowd** I’ll tell you what I’m going to do, so at Backlash, it will be Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero vs. Show-Miz vs. Edge and Christian **crowd pops** in a……… in a………. in a………. triple threat tag team match for the unified tag team titles. **WHAT!!!!!!!!**

**I Won’t Do What You Tell Me**

Ross: Austin…......Austin…….Austin…….he just made a huge announcement!

Lawler:
That he did JR, our general manager is on a role tonight.

Ross: Now let’s send it backstage with Eve speaking with one of the men that will definitely be wrestling for the vacant Hardcore Title at Backlash.

Eve Torres:
Hello everybody, I’m here with….The Sandman! Now, Sandman, what do you think of Stone Cold Steve Austin bringing back the hardcore division, along with its title?

Sandman is smiling very wide, and has his signature kendo stick in hand.

The Sandman: I feel great Eve, I feel that great in fact that I can do this…….

Sandman than walks over to a random guy backstage, turns him around, and clocks him in the head with his kendo stick.

Sandman: You know Eve, that just made me feel even better, so I’ll do this……

Sandman finds another backstage worker, and hits him in the face.

Sandman: Alright I’ll hold up for now baby Eve, so what’s your next question?

Eve: Alright, so how do you feel with getting reunited with your old ECW originals like Sabu and Tommy Dreamer?

Sandman: Hang on babe, o hahahaha……

Sandman sees Joey Mercury walking backstage, and hits him in the abdomen with the kendo stick, and than the back of the head, and than when Mercury falls on his butt on the ground; he hits him in the upper part of the chest with the kendo stick.

Sandman: Sweaty, I feel great, in fact, I’m just going to keep doing this.

Sandman starts to walk around backstage just hitting random things with his kendo stick and laughing, the camera turns back to Eve who gives everybody a clueless look, and raises up her shoulders in question.

**Commercial Break**

The show comes back on and Tyler Reks’ music hits.

**Tyrannosaurus**

Tyler Reks comes down to the ring, and has a dead blank stare at the center of the ring. He enters the ring, and walks over to the other side to get a mic.

Reks: I have a lot to say, but I can wait.

Ross: What does he mean by that?

Lawler: Honestly JR, I really don’t know, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

**Black Or White**

Match 3

Singles Match

Justin Gabriel vs. Tyler Reks

Justin Gabriel comes out to a huge pop, with his Intercontinental Title around his waist, as he starts to high five fans on his way down to the ring. He enters the ring, and hands his belt over to the referee.

The bell rings, and we’re underway, Reks uses his power to back Gabriel into a corner, and then whips him across the ring, causing Gabriel to fall; sitting in front of the turnbuckles. Reks than goes over and hits Gabriel with repeated knees, and than goes for the cover, only getting 2. Reks gets up and then picks Gabriel up, only for Gabriel to kick him in the chest, and bounce off the ropes to hit a running bulldog. Gabriel waits for Reks to get up and hits a missile dropkick on Reks. Gabriel goes for the cover, 1, 2, no! Reks got a shoulder up, just in time. Gabriel runs towards the ropes, and attempts to hit a springboard cross body, but Reks catches him, picks him up into a torture rack, and attempts to hit a burning hammer, but Gabriel escapes it, and hits a sitout rear mat slam.

Gabriel than goes to the top rope, but instead of going for his 450 splash, which he definitely could have went for, he waits for Tyler Reks to get up, and hits a missile dropkick, which sends Reks right back down to the mat.

Ross: It’s not like that the missile dropkick wasn’t impressive or anything, but I’m wondering why Justin Gabriel didn’t go for his 450 splash, it just puzzles me.

Lawler: I agree JR, this could wind up to either help him a lot, or hurt him a lot as this match goes on.

Ross: You see King, there’s just one problem with Gabriel, and it’s that he’s very inexperienced. Once he becomes more mature in his in ring game, then and only then will we see this Justin Gabriel hit his full potential right on the top of the head.

We come back to see that Gabriel doesn’t go for the cover, but instead he walks out onto the apron, and goes for a slingshot senton, only for Reks to put his knees up. Reks than picks him up, and hits an Olympic Slam, a move very commonly used by Kurt Angle.

Ross: Reks looks like he got influenced by someone who we are very familiar with, eh Lawler?

Lawler: That someone was a former world champion here, you’re definitely right that he has some influence on this young gun Reks.

Reks keeps on pounding on Gabriel, until he sits him up in the middle of the ring, bounces off the ropes, and hits a running right knee, right on Gabriel’s nose. As we see, Gabriel has a very small cut on his nose, as Reks goes for the cover and hooks the right leg of Gabriel, 1, 2, no! Gabriel just barely kicked out. Reks is now very ticked off; steaming in anger. **crowd chants for Gabriel, and then teases Reks by saying chillllllllll out, chilllllllll out** Reks then goes to the top, and goes for a moonsault, but Gabriel back out! **crowd pops loud** Gabriel than gets back up and hits 5 leg kicks on Reks (4 on the right leg and 1 on the left. Gabriel then bounces off the ropes, and hits a smashing elbow, followed by a standing front flip senton, but only for a count of 2. Gabriel then picks him up, and both of them slug it out, before Gabriel hits a superkick which knocks the big guy down. Gabriel then hits a springboard moonsault, and gives the fans the sign that it’s time for the 450 splash. **Crowd pops loud**

Ross: It might be time for Gabriel to hit one of the most spectacular moves the I have ever seen in all of my years of wrestling.

Lawler: He’s climbing up there JR, here it comes!

Gabriel indeed does climb the turnbuckle, but as he jumps off, and flips, Reks moves out of the way, and just as Gabriel lands, and stands back up, here comes Reks, bouncing off the ropes, and hitting a big boot! Cover, 1, 2, 3, and this match is over!

Winner: Tyler Reks (9:33).

Reks than spits right next to Gabriel, and yelling at the crowd, saying “I told you so,” and “Here it comes.” Reks than goes and picks up a mic from outside of the ring, and climbs the apron, only deciding to go back to the floor, and walk toward the entrance way as he starts talking.

Reks: I told you so, Gabriel! Gabriel! Gabriel, I want you at Backlash, but not just for bragging rights, which I already have, but for that Intercontinental Title of yours, that will soon be mine. Well, anyway, whatever you say won’t matter, because I already brought it up with Stone Cold Steve Austin, and he agreed. See you soon buddy!

Gabriel gets up, and is handed the Intercontinental Title, as he walks towards the ropes, and raises it up high. **Crowd pops for Gabriel, and gives Reks some major heat.**

**Commercial Break**

We come back, and both Dreamer and Snitsky are in the ring, and ready to hurt each other. Dreamer brought a shopping cart with all types of weapons to the ring, including a lamp.

Match 5

Singles match: Hardcore rules, winner is in the fatal-4- way at Backlash for the Hardcore Title

Tommy Dreamer vs. Snitsky

The bell rings and we’re underway, Dreamer goes up and starts striking Snitsky with all kinds of shots, but Snitsky fights back with a clothesline. Snitsky exits the ring, and goes over to the shopping cart full of goodies, and takes out a few objects, and throws them into the ring.

Ross: This is going to be one true rough match.

Lawler: Look at all the goods in the ring, I know Tommy Dreamer has a lot more experience with these kinds of things, but look at Snitsky. He’s so powerful, and he’s a maniac.

When Snitsky climbs back in, Dreamer picks up the lamps, and shoves it at Snitsky’s throat causing the big man to go down. Dreamer then starts choking Snitsky, until he finally gets up, and goes over to grab the top of a trash can. As he starts walking over towards Snitsky, Snitsky is able to lift his leg up, and give a miniature big boot to Dreamer; the lid smashing against Dreamer’s skull. Snitsky goes for the cover, but Dreamer is able to find it in him to kick up at 2. Snitsky then goes over and positions a trash can (side down) near the middle of the ring. Snitsky picks Dreamer up, and whips him into the corner, and hits a big splash, and followed by a bulldog onto the trash can! Snitsky goes for the cover, but Dreamer gets up at 1.

Ross: Wow, what heart shown by Dreamer, we’ll see more of it up next.

Lawler:
Yes JR, we need to go to a commercial break, but we’ll be back right after this.

**Commercial Break**

We come back with Snitsky holding a kendo stick, and Tommy Dreamer (still standing) is in a ball in the corner. Snitsky keeps repentantly hitting Dreamer with it. Snitsky goes for the cover, but only gets 2. Snitsky then picks a barbed-wire 2X4, and attempts to hit Dreamer with one, and then Snitsky drops it, and as he does that, he sees The Sandman walking down the ring, with nothing but a can of beer in each of his hands. Snitsky looks shocked, and he turns around to see the bloodied Dreamer hits a DDT to Snitsky onto the barbed wire. Snitsky’s face is pouring with blood everywhere, as Dreamer goes for the cover, 1, 2, 3!

Winner: Tommy Dreamer (6:34).

Sandman climbs into the ring, and gives Dreamer one of his partly drunken cans of beer, and hands it over to Dreamer, and they toast, but not without Sandman saying that he wants the title; that he’s coming for the title.

JR:
We now have 3of our 4 participants, and we’ll find out the last competitor this Friday Night on Smackdown.

Lawler: That’s right JR, but up next, we will have Alberto Del Rio take on John Cena.

**Commercial Break**

We come back with the Smackdown Rebound.

Quick highlights of all of the tournament matches, and mainly spotlighting John Morrison, and how he will take on Kane next week on Smackdown for the world title.

**Realeza**

Alberto Del Rio comes out in the same car as before, and with Ricardo Rodriguez introducing his name, and when Del Rio gets into the ring, he hands Ricardo his scarf, and waits for his opponent, John Cena.

**The Time Is Now**

Match 6

Singles Match

John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio

John Cena comes out looking fired up, and he salutes the crowd on his way into the ring. Cena slides into the ring, and gives his dog tag to the referee, and these two are ready to brawl it out.

The bell rings, and these two lock up, with ADR getting in a side chinlock, only for Cena to quickly reverse it by sending him off of the ropes, only for ADR to meet a shoulder block by Cena. Cena picks him up, but ADR hits a sitout jawbreaker, followed by a kick to the gut, and ADR bounces off the ropes, and hits a running face slam causing Cena to bounce off the ring. Del Rio goes for the cover, but only gets 2, and Cena gets up and starts slugging it out with him, Cena whips ADR, followed by ADR going for a clothesline, only for Cena to duck, as both of them bounce off the ropes again, only for Cena to hit a clothesline. Del Rio goes down, but quickly gets back up, as Cena lifts him up; going for the Attitude Adjustment, only for Del Rio to get out, and bolt out of the ring.

Ross: What a nice; fast moving pace going on here in this match, hopefully we can get you this match with any [commercial] interruptions.

Lawler:
There’s nothing that I like more than a quickly paced match, you know that JR?

JR: As a matter of fact King, I do; working with you for all of these years really led me out to a lot of normal and weird clues and stuff about you.

ADR gets back into the ring at 3, and the action doesn’t stop, as the two keep on trading shots back and forth. Del Rio is able to gain the upper hand by stretching out Cena arm. Eventually, after Cena whipped ADR into the corner, and went for his running bulldog, ADR somehow dodge it, and Cena went flying, ADR then hit a dropkick, followed by a cross-armbreaker by ADR, but after a little while, Cena manages to escape, and hit some shot on ADR, only for Del Rio to counter with a DDT, and go for a cover. Cena manages to get up at 2, and Del Rio is furious! Del Rio picks Cena up, but is hit with punches, and eventually Cena is able to knock him down with a powerslam.

Ross: Here comes John Cena!

Cena then waits for ADR to get up, and hits his normal sitout power bomb followed by a 5 knuckle shuffle. Cena then locks in the STF, and just as it seemed Del Rio was about to tap out, Randy Orton appears on the titantron.

Orton: Well John, I felt that now was a right time to ask, have you taken up my offer yet?

Cena continues to have the STF locked in; he ignores Randy’s question.

Orton: Alright John, I guess I’ll have to ask you again, will you face me at Backlash?

The camera zooms out to Randy Orton with a baseball bat right next to John’s locker room.

Cena releases the hold, and goes over to the edge of the ring to say “I accept,” and “you’re on,” and when he’s about to turn around, ADR schoolboy’s John Cena for the 1, 2, 3!

Winner: Alberto Del Rio (9:04).

Ross: Del Rio did it, he beat Cena.

Del Rio quickly escapes the ring with Rodriguez, as Cena gets up, and tries to pursue after them, but they each drive off in ADR’s car. Cena goes back to the announce table area, and starts throwing things, and points towards the blank; black titantron, and then starts walking backstage.

Lawler: Cena seems really mad, not only to lose right near his hometown, but to get played out by Randy and Del Rio.

Ross: Mainly Randy though.

Lawler: Yeah, but still Alberto picked his time; he picked his prey, and pounced. Anyways, up next we have our main event between Goldberg and Randy Orton.

**Commercial Break**

We come back with Randy Orton’s music about to hit.

**Voices**

Orton comes out without the baseball bat that he had earlier, but he does walk out to the ring smiling.

**Invasion**

Goldberg comes out and does his traditional strikes promo, as he enters the ring, each of the men have a cold; dead stare on each other.

Lawler: Wow JR, what a stare down.

Ross:
Hopefully the match will be even better.

Match 7

Singles Match

Goldberg vs. Randy Orton

The bell rings, and we’re under way with the two men exchanging strikes, until Goldberg eventually gains the upper advantage. Goldberg gets Randy into a corner, and starts hitting continuous shoulder blocks, followed by a running powerslam, but only for a count of 1.

JR: Goldberg’s looking good early on here; let’s see if he can keep it up, after this commercial break.

**Commercial Break**

We comeback from the commercial break with Randy hitting Goldberg all across the ring, and eventually hits his signature neck breaker. Orton goes for a pin, but Goldberg is able to throw Randy off of him at 2. Goldberg gets up, and lifts Randy up by the shoulders, and puts him on the second ropes, they exchange strikes again, and Goldberg climbs up the turnbuckles, and they trade strikes again. Orton is eventually able to push him off, and goes for a cross-body, only to be caught by Goldberg, and to be places back on the second rope by Goldberg.

Ross: Wow, what strength by this machine of a man, Goldberg.

Goldberg then climbs with Orton up to the top rope, and Goldberg hits a super-plex, which knocks both of them down. Goldberg gets up at a ref’s count of 5; Randy Orton at 8. Goldberg sets Randy up for a spear, but Randy dodges it, Randy then suddenly goes for a RKO, but Goldberg is able to push him off. Orton than runs into a fall away slam by Goldberg, and after that, Goldberg signals that it’s time for the jackhammer. Goldberg lifts Randy up, and connects with his signature finishing move, the jackhammer. Goldberg hooks Randy’s left leg, while Randy’s right leg is also in the air, and Goldberg gets a 3 count.

Winner: Goldberg (7:28).

Goldberg then celebrates the victory with throwing his hands up in the air, until CM Punk comes in the ring, and hits a GTS on Goldberg, and then stands above him.

Ross: After a great match put up by Goldberg, CM Punk shows up, and gets the last laugh of the night, but we will see you next week here on Monday Night Raw.

Lawler:
Don’t miss it! We will be coming to you from my hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. I can’t wait, be there.

The show closes with CM Punk still standing over Goldberg.

Here, I'll toss out another review for you. I like the formatting better at this point, the only thing I'd say is, when someone isn't talking, like a transition in scenes or describing something happening, use italics or a different font, as it kind of blends in with speaking parts. But the formatting has come along better.

I like the feuds being developed. Cena and Orton are like the Austin/Rock of this generation, so seeing more of them is always a treat and a build of epic proportions, so let us see how it goes. I like how you are putting emphasis on the tag team division here, it seems one actually exists, which is a step up from WWE. ;]

I like establishing a mid-card feud with two young talents in Gabriel and Reks, and the mystery surrounding Reks, it seems intriguing. He said alot in few words before the match, and established the feud and match afterwords.

Punk and Goldberg is something different we haven't seen, and Punk is getting the shot he deserves in the main event, which is good. At this point it seems Del Rio doesn't really have anything, but we will see where it goes.

You seem to have an overload of matches, but it's perfectly fine as these things are fantasy, just don't give away to much on TV. You are good at writing matches for a beginner and will get even better as you go along. Your promo quality isn't the greatest, but sometimes it takes awhile to develop that ability, and I am fairly confident it will come around eventually.

I like how you are developing original storylines that differ from the WWE, even if it requires bringing in some new and past talent. It seems good so far, and I felt this episode of RAW did a lot in terms of developing stories and angles, which is good early on. That makes the episode a success in my book, and I'll keep reading. Good job bro.

I'll toss you my thoughts on the project so far. Not a fan of the format you used for RAW. I hate when people change the font multiple times during a show. I suggest looking at GCB's and mine for an easy format which looks good. Actually it is rather annoying looking at the show when the writing gets bigger in one sentence then is small in another. Format is really important so you need to find something that is good.

I'm enjoying the feuds you are building toward Backlash. I'm not a fan of having Goldberg on the roster, but whatever works for you. He should be fun to write for and that is the main thing I guess.

I see that you are giving away big matches on RAW. You don't want to give two many PPV level matches away. Maybe have a tag match with the big stars rather then a bunch of one on one matches. Still the matches are getting better so that is a good thing.

Not much else to say other then nice job. You are getting better, nothing amazing but still very good. Give it some time and you could become of the better bookers around these parts. Keep on rolling.

Well so far from your first few shows you have showed that you've developed your characters and we can tell who they are such as the real life WWE. And you're doing a good job with Punk as he's pretty much now the main heel. Wouldn't mind seeing Goldberg in some more speaking roles, but with promos it seems like you kind of rush them, Don't have to make an MLK speech but slow down, Your matches aren't bad, Quick to the point, summarized, not taking too much time. There's really nothing much to say. Just feel free to go outside the box so people don't see you as another WWE. I enjoyed the show. Overall for a starter you get a B.

Jam's Review
First, your roster is unique as it has some ECW guys and that's perfectly fine. Marcus Cor Von, Sabu, and Sandman were all pretty good in their ECW days.

Your format is good but not great. Could use some work on it. It's readable though but few adjustments can be made to it. Maybe center your text, that could do the trick.

I see that you have a lot of matches on Raw. 7, I believe. I think that's too much for a show but it's your Book This, so I'll just leave it at that. You might want to lessen it to maybe 4-5 matches instead and have some promos in there. Also, you might want to add some backstage interviews. These could really help hype a match.

What I really like is that Justin Gabriel is Intercontinental Champion. This kid could be big some day in the real WWE if he just learned to talk more serious and gets a push. Also, having him feud with Reks is different, but it works. Best feud you got going on is Punk vs. Goldberg. Again, it's different, but it works.

For Smackdown, I think you did better. Having a tournament for the World Heavyweight Championship was entertaining. And HOLY SHITT! Morrison over Taker? Morrison has to deliver then. Pretty good tag division over there too.

Overall, good shows. I'll be reading to find out what happens with this Punk/Goldberg angle and how you book Gabriel. Also, if you book Morrison to be a big star. Good job dude.

Week 2

Prudential Center, Newark, New Jersey

An intro comes on, and the show opens with Michael Cole and Mick Foley at ringside.

Cole: Hello, and good evening, I’m Michael Cole; along with Mick Foley, and welcome to Friday Night Smackdown. Tonight Mick, we are going to crown a world heavyweight champion.

Foley: That we are Cole, and as we see that steel cage hanging above the ring, it will hold the destiny of one John Morrison, and Kane, as they will square up against each other, locked inside of a cage, in out main event.

Cole: Also, we will hear from Chris Jericho and HHH. I’m really excited to see what Jericho will say, aren’t you Mick?

Foley:
I’m also excited to see what HHH says too.

**MacMillitant**

Cole:
Shut up Foley! Look, it’s our general manager.

Teddy Long comes out with a huge swagger type Vince McMahon type walk, he gets some heat on his way down to the ring, and he grabs a mic as he enters the ring.

Long:
Evening playas, na just kidding y’all ain’t playas, y’all are my moneymakers. **crowd boos** You see, all of you can boo me all ya want, but you know just as much as I do is that right now, by you all sitting in the seats that you’re sitting in, is just money going in my pocket.

Cole: You know Foley, he’s right.

Foley:
Could you stick your nose any farther up Long’s ass Cole?

Now, onto business. As Stone Cold Steve Austin **crowd cheers wildly** …….now as I was saying, Monday night on Raw, Stone Cold Steve Austin **crowd cheers wildly again**……..Shut up! Now as I was saying, Monday night on Raw, Stone Cold said that at Backlash there will be a fatal-4-way to find out who the 4th person in the fatal-4-way match is. That match will be between Wade Barrett and R-Truth.

**Break The Walls Down**

The crowd is in a mix of boos and cheers as Jericho walks down the entrance way; looking mad; with a mic in his hand.

Jericho:
Hold up one minute Teddy Long.

Jericho enters the ring, and points at Teddy Long as he walks towards him.

Jericho:
Wade Barrett, Wade Barrett? R-Truth? What’s the matter with you? I am the best in the world at what I do, and it should be me in that hardcore title match at Backlash. **crowd cheers** Shut up! You lying; hypocritical; selfish “fans”. You all show no respect at all for what I do, and you don’t deserve to cheer me! **crowd silences, and is stunned by Jericho’s reaction to their pop(s) **

Long: You know Jericho, I do have something in mind with you, and I do agree with what you’re saying. **crowd boos even more; louder**

**The Game**

HHH comes out to the ring, smiling and laughing; shaking his head at the two men in the ring. HHH enters the ring, and grabs a mic, and gets in Jericho’s face.

HHH: Hey there Chris nice to see you. You too Theodore, how have you been.

Long begins to raise the mic to his mouth to talk, but then HHH interrupts him.

HHH:
Just kidding, I really don’t care at all. **crowd pops** Now what I was coming here to say was that I should have been in the hardcore match, but Bitch Jericho already took care of that. **crowd pops loudly for the joke**

Jericho:
You know Hunter……

HHH: I know you’re an ignorant Canadian who does nothing, but annoy the minds out of everyone in this company.

Jericho and HHH start to stare each other down.

Long: Alright playas let’s hold up here, now I got a match in mind, and you two are going to face each other in it. It won’t be a one on one match, it will be a 6 man tag team match with Chris Jericho and his partners, JBL and Joe Henning will be taking on HHH and his partners, Ezekiel Jackson, and an old buddy of yours Hunter, from Raw, Shawn Michaels!

Cole:
What! What! This is going to be huge Foley!

Foley:
I can’t agree with you anymore Cole; I can’t wait!

Crowd goes wild as HHH and Jericho continue to stare each other down, but only until Jericho smiles, and HHH nods his head, and then HHH punches Jericho in the face, and they start brawling. Teddy Long leaves the ring, and Jericho and HHH keep brawling, until Joe Henning runs down the ramp, and it’s now 2 on 1. They keep pouncing on HHH until Ezekiel Jackson comes down, and now it’s even, as Big Zeke starts pounding on Jericho with his huge clubbing forearms. Zeke then throws Jericho out of the ring, as HHH gives Henning a pedigree. Jericho then rolls Henning out of the ring to the outside. HHH and Zeke pose as we go back to Cole and Foley.

Cole: Well, that was unfair, but anyway, coming up next we will have two men who were eliminated in the first round of our tournament, Batista and Sheamus.

Foley: Yes Cole, yes we will, but right now we have to go to commercial, don’t touch that remote, because we’ll be back soon.

**Commercial Beak**

We come back, and the camera zooms in on Michael Cole and Mick Foley.

Cole: Ladies and Gentlemen, it is now time for our first match of the night, and it will be between two men that got eliminated in the first round of our tournament last week.

Foley:
Yes and those two men are Batista and Sheamus, both of them put up fights against Taker and Morrison, but each came up just short.

Cole: I still think Morrison cheated out of that match with Sheamus, and….

Foley: You have no proof Cole, that’s like saying that you could beat me in a hardcore match, sure you could put up a silly; stupid argument, but it just won’t/ didn’t happen.

Cole: I’d rather not take my chances, especially with someone like you.

Foley: Exactly, that’s what I thought; now let’s get to the match.

Match 1

Singles Match

Batista vs. Sheamus

**I Walk Alone**

Batista comes out to a huge pop, as he does his normal animalistic type entrance as he comes to the ring; he looks very angry/ mad.

**Written In My Face**

Sheamus comes out, and starts to point at Batista as he does his signature pose; Batista continues to look angry inside of the ring.

Cole: We have to take a break, but when we come back, this match right here will start, don’t go anywhere.

**Commercial Break**

The show comes back on with Sheamus’ music still playing, as we go back to Cole and Foley.

Cole: Tonight’s show is presented by WWE Backlash, which will air live on pay-per-view in a little over 2 weeks.

The bell rings, and we’re under way, as Batista and Sheamus start to lock up, and Sheamus gets a side-headlock in, but is quickly whip across the ropes by Batista, which follows by a big boot by Batista. Sheamus is on the ground, as Batista picks him up by the right arm, and clotheslines him. He does it again, without letting go of the arm, as he repeats the cycle one more time. Batista picks Sheamus back up, and stands him up, only to bounce off of the ropes, and hit another clothesline. Batista goes for the cover, 1, 2, and Sheamus kicks out, and Batista is complaining to the referee as Batista only got 2. Batista tries to pick Sheamus back up, but Sheamus starts hitting him with clubbing shots, which causes Batista to move back. Sheamus then gets up, only to met a knee to the gut by Batista, Batista then bounces off of the ropes, only to get hit by a big boot by Sheamus, followed by a standing elbow drop. Sheamus then bounces off of the ropes, and hits a leg drop. Sheamus then picks up Batista, barely whips him, and hits a Samoan drop. Sheamus pins him, but only gets 2.

Cole: On and off match that we’re having right here, eh Foley?

Foley: Yeah; I like it.

Sheamus signals for Batista to come back up, and goes for a Brogue Kick, but Batista dodges it, causing Sheamus to bounce off of the ropes, and fall right into a spine buster by Batista. Batista shakes the ropes, and does the thumbs down; signaling for the Batista bomb. Batista pick Sheamus up, and lifts him up, but Sheamus escapes, and sprints out of the ring. Batista actually sits down on his butt; waiting for Sheamus, who eventually comes back into the ring at a ref’s count of 7. Just as Sheamus gets back in, Batista lifts him up for a running powerslam, but Sheamus is able to get out of it, and hits a German suplex, and then another one, and just as he’s about to hit a third, Batista hits him with elbows, causing Sheamus to be backed into a corner. Batista continues to hit elbows, until Sheamus falls down on his butt, which causes Batista to back up into the center of the ring, and then hit a running knee. Batista then lifts him back up in the corner, and hits him with 3 repeated shoulder strikes, followed by Batista lifting him up to the second rope, and then Batista climbs to the top rope, with Sheamus trying to fight him off; Batista than hits a superplex, causing both me to cringe up in pain. Batista gets up at 5; Sheamus at 8, and Batista then kicks Sheamus in the gut, and attempts another Batista bomb, but Sheamus counters it by lifting Batista up over his shoulder. Sheamus then hits a STO, but tries to pin Batista again, but only gets 2!

Cole: Sheamus just can’t get the pin on Batista tonight.

Foley: You’re right Cole, you need 3 to get the win.

Cole: Sheamus is coming so close every time, but he just can’t get it.

Sheamus is going for another Brogue Kick, but Batista ducks under again, and hits a spear on Sheamus. Batista then lifts Sheamus up, and hits a Batista bomb, for the 1, 2, 3.

Winner: Batista (12:36)

Cole: For the second week in a row, Sheamus dominates the entire match, but just can’t get the win.

Foley: No, I think you have it wrong Cole, it’s really that for the second week in a row, Sheamus had a very long match/ battle, but as the dust clears, he loses.

Cole: Okay Foley….

Foley: I’m just saying….

Cole: Okay Foley, whatever you say, in your eyes you’re right, and in my eyes, I am right, but I KNOW that I’m right. Now let’s send it to our lovely; elegant partner Vicki Guerrero backstage with her nephew Chavo, and Rey Mysterio.

The camera cuts to Vicki backstage with Chavo and Rey. Rey is smiling wide, as Vicki looks very mad as usual, and Chavo just looks like casual Chavo. Rey is in his wrestling shirt, and athletic pants, while Chavo is in a formal and jeans.

Vicki: Excuse me! I am here with my nephew Chavo Guerrero and his tag team partner Rey Mysterio, who won’t have a match tonight, but they will be in a triple threat tag team match against Show-Miz, and Edge and Christian.

Chavo: Yes Vicki we are, but tonight….

Chavo looks at Rey, and he nods at the same time as Chavo nods, so they both nod.

Rey: Tonight we are just chilling back, and watching the show; it’s good to do that once in a while.

Chavo: After that though, we’re going out to go pick up some ladies, you know what I’m saying?

Vicki: Chavo, what have I raised you up to be?

Chavo: Vicki, you never raised me, and if you did, I feel I would only be able to get a title shot at the eating championship son.

Vicki: I……I can’t ……….

Vicki lets out a huge scream, as she runs away, almost crying, to a huge pop, and laughter from the crowd.

Rey: You think she’s really upset?

Chavo: No, haha, I’ve seen this before, haha, she just eats out her problems, **crowd pops and laughs** but in all seriousness, no it’s just part of the act, she’s obviously acting, and it’s easy to tell. Now, let’s go.

Rey: Alright………son.

They both walk off, and share a laugh.

**Commercial Break**

The show comes back on with Lance Storm standing in the middle of the ring with a mic in his hand; he’s in a suit and tie.

Storm: Now, if I could be serious for one moment**crowd boos at the familiar, yet very old catch phrase**………..I feel like I should be getting more respect around here. I came on to the wrestling scene when some of the current performers here were teenagers; even kids. If I could be serious for a moment, from the alliance in WCW to The Un-Americans, I’ve been through it all, and done it all except for win a world title which I’ll get to in just a moment. Now, what really bugs me is that young guys like Sin Cara, **crowd pops** Justin Gabriel, **crowd pops even louder** Zack Ryder, **crowd pops, not as loud as they did for Gabriel, or even Sin Cara, but still pretty loud**[/I] The Miz, **crowd boos loud now** and ugh most of all ugh, John Morrison **crowd goes off; crowd is going completely nuts**. I just hate the fact that I’m not getting any respect, and if anyone deserves to be “pushed to the moon” as “10% of the audience” according to a certain former boss of mine, than it’s me. Week in and week out, I work my ass of, and I don’t even get a match on TV! It’s simply unbelievable, so I’m laying out a challenge. Since I’ve mentioned that I’ve never won a world title before, next week I’m laying out the challenge, a challenge to whoever wins that cage match tonight, to face me for the world title next week here on Smackdown **older fans show some cheers and some Storm chants, while some younger fans boo and show some retire chants**. Thank you for your attention, and be sure to cherish whichever one of you “heroes,” or “marks” win tonight, because next week, if either one of them have the gonads to accept my challenge, they won’t have that strap for long.

Storm sets the microphone softly down on the ground, as he starts to head out. He still has that same very serious; blank look/ stare on his face, and as he starts walking on the entrance way, Mark Henry’s music hits.

**Some Bodies Gonna Get It**

Mark Henry walks out, and as him and Storm each reach half way up the entrance way, they stare each other down.

Cole: Wow, a stare down of two of the most underrated; unappreciated guys not only on the Smackdown roster, but on the WWE roster all together.

Foley: I wouldn’t say THAT Cole, but these guys aren’t exactly the poster boys of this company either.

After a short stare down, they nod at each other simultaneously, and then Storm nods, followed by another Henry nod, as both of the men stare to make their respective ways up and down the entrance way. When Henry gets in the ring, he grabs a mic, and angrily kicks the one Storm was using out of the way.

Henry:
Get that trash out of here. Now, last week I demolished the man named Kane, until I purposely got myself disqualified, now just as Mr. Lance Storm says, I want my chance. Tonight I am going to offer up an open challenge to anyone, to anybody in that locker room back there. Go ahead come on, let’s go!

Henry waits for a little while, and the camera shoots out to the entrance way/ titantron. Henry waits even more; taunting to the fans.

**Radio**

Zack Ryder comes out with Booker T right by his, Mark Henry is in the ring smiling and laughing at Ryder and the legend Booker T.

Cole: You know Foley, even though we haven’t seen too much of them, I really don’t like the group called Tam Swagger.

Foley: Why not Cole? Personally, I think they’re funny.

Cole: Yeah, coming from the man who let another man continuously hit him with a chair while handcuffed.

Foley: Now Cole, wasn’t it you who told me to get out of the past last week? Now look who’s stuck in the past.

Cole: Just shut up Foley, and call this up and coming match.

Ryder enters the ring; looking very cocky, as Booker T stands on the outside; cheering on Ryder. Ryder takes his sunglasses and bandana off, and does his hair spike motion, as we’re ready to start.

Match 2

Singles Match

Mark Henry vs. Zack Ryder

The bell rings and we’re underway, as Ryder tries to tie up with Henry, but Henry just shoves him off, as Ryder tries to tie up again, only for Henry to shove off Ryder off of him again. Now, Ryder is pretty mad, so he tries to punch Henry a couple of times, but Henry just blocks about all of them except for maybe 2 or the 8 right hands that he threw. Ryder then bounces off of the ropes, and attempts to hit a cross-body, but Henry just moves out of the way. Henry then waits for Ryder to get up, and hits a clothesline on Ryder. Henry then waits for Ryder to get up again, and hits him with a world’s strongest slam. Henry stands up and puts his left foot on Ryder for the pin, and he gets the 3 count.

Winner: Mark Henry (2:40)

Henry starts to stomp and kick Ryder, until he rolls out of the ring, and him and Booker retreat to the backstage area, as Henry just stands there and laughs, and than just suddenly stops, and goes over and asks for a mic, and gets one.

Henry: C’mon there’s got to be someone else, that chump couldn’t beat a kid, c’mon I’m the world’s strongest man. I’m also the world’s baddest man.

**Smoke and Mirrors**

Cody Rhodes comes out to a decent/ pretty big pop, as he walks out smiling and high fiving the fans, and he also looks pretty cocky as well, as Henry continues to just stand there smiling.

Cole: I understand Zack Ryder, but c’mon Cody Rhodes, what is this?

Foley:
Remember Cole, Rhodes is a former tag [team], and you really shouldn’t doubt him, or count him out yet.

Match 3

Singles Match

Mark Henry vs. Cody Rhodes

The bell rings, and we’re under way, Rhodes delivers 3 kicks to Henry’s chest, but Henry just stands there still, and stays strong during them, before he claps his hands across Rhodes’ head. Henry then picks him up and hits a backwards military press slam, sending Rhodes high behind Henry. Henry then bounces off of the ropes, groans and screams, and hits a standing elbow drop. Henry then does the same exact thing, and looks like he’s going to go for the cover, but he teases everyone and then gets back up. Henry picks Rhodes up and whips him into a corner, and then he hits a big splash, followed by a huge clothesline. Henry then shakes his head no, and then smiles before picking him up and hitting the world’s strongest slam for the 3.
Winner: Mark Henry (2:26)

Henry then kicks Rhodes out, until he scrambles outside of the ring, and to the back. Henry then goes over and grabs a mic while smiling.

Henry: C’mon there’s got to be someone who can at least put up a five minute match with me. C’mon let’s go, get out here!

**Ain’t No Grave Gonna Hold My Body Down**

The crowd vibrates the arena, as the legendary Undertaker makes his way down to the ring. Right when he gets to the ring steps, he nods at Henry, basically saying that he is accepting the challenge.

Match 4

Singles Match

The Undertaker vs. Mark Henry

The bell rings, and we’re underway, as Undertaker starts pouring on rights, and then some rights and lefts, as Henry stumbles back. Undertaker pushes him in the corner, and goes for a big splash, but Henry ducks out of the way, and goes for a military press slam, but Undertaker crawls out, and hits an elbow to the big man Henry’s back. Undertaker bounces off of the ropes, and goes for a big boot, but Henry ducks it, and locks in a bear hug. Henry continues to squeeze, and hold Undertaker in it for a while, before Undertaker is finally able to get to the ropes, and Henry finally breaks it free at a count of 4. Henry tries to clothesline Undertaker over the ropes, but Taker ducks it, and pulls on the ropes; causing Henry to fall over the ropes. Undertaker then goes back, and hits a dive onto Henry for over the top rope.

Cole: We have to go to commercial now, but we’ll be back.

**Commercial Break**

We come back, and the camera shows highlights from the commercial break, where Undertaker hit his signature guillotine leg drop on Henry. We go back, and Henry is balled up in the corner, with Undertaker hitting lefts and rights from all over the place, causing Henry to defend. Undertaker then lifts Henry up, and hits snake eyes, followed by a big boot. Undertaker then signals for a chokeslam, but Henry sees it, and backs out of the ring, and just as he’s about to go back in, he waves his arm up as the ref starts counting. Henry goes over, and picks up a mic.

Henry:
Go ahead ref, keep counting, I don’t care, I’m done! Undertaker, I’m coming for you, I took you out not too long ago, and I’ll do it again.

The ref hits the count of ten, and he rings the bell.

Winner: Undertaker (6:52)

Henry doesn’t really seem to care, as he is about to speak again.

Henry: Undertaker, also I’m not alone in the hunt to retire you, no I’m not alone at all.

Undertaker then turns around, and eats a Samoan Drop from Big Daddy V, and then Daddy bounces off of the ropes, and hits his signature elbow drop on Undertaker, with Matt Striker cheering him on. Mark Henry then enters the ring, and starts to stomp and kick Undertaker, before Undertaker rolls out of the ring. Mark Henry then goes over to Big Daddy V and Matt Striker, as Henry lifts Daddy’s left arm up, as Striker lifts his right arm up, as the crowd boos very loudly.

**Commercial Break**

We come back to the show, with Team Swagger pumping up R-Truth in their locker room.

Ryder: Bro, I can’t believe you’re going to win a shot at the hardcore championship tonight.

Booker T:
Yeah buddy; you know, you should really be really proud of yourself Truth.

Truth: I have to win first, and then we’ll talk boys, now if I could just go out there myself boys.

Ryder: All good.

Booker T: Yep.

Ryder: Anything that will get you a shot at that gold.

R-Truth:
Thanks boys; I appreciate it.

R-Truth shakes/ slaps five with each of them, before heading out to do his entrance.

Match 5

Hardcore Match: Winner gets in the fatal-4-way at Backlash for a shot at the hardcore title.

R-Truth vs. Wade Barrett

**What’s Up**

R-Truth comes out, and does his usual entrance with the fans throughout the arena, and just as he gets into the ring, the camera goes back to Michael Cole and Mick Foley.

Cole: You know Foley, I’m personally pulling for Wade Barrett in this match; I just feel there needs to be a brash; young guy in this match of old timers.

Foley:
R-Truth is brash and young as well Cole.

Cole: Foley, R-Truth is 39, not too young, and Wade Barrett is only 30, which is pretty young to me.

Foley: That’s still no way to speak of R-Truth.

Cole: No way to speak of him, he’s an ex-prisoner! I can speak to and about him however I want. Now let’s get to the match please. I can’t wait to see Wade Barrett define the odds, and win here, and win the Hardcore Title at Backlash.

**End Of Days**

Wade Barrett comes out in a very cocky grin, as he walks out onto the entrance way. When he gets into the ring, he is greeted by a cold stare by R-Truth, but Wade just brushes him away.
The bell rings, and we’re underway, as Wade starts out with a kick to the gut to R-Truth, followed by another one, and another one. Wade then whips R-Truth over the top rope, as Wade follows R-Truth down, only to get hit by the monitor cover on the announce table.

Cole: Didn’t take too long for it to get hardcore.

Foley: No it didn’t, and wow that was a huge shot delivered by R-Truth onto Wade Barrett.

Barrett is now just slightly busted open from the shot, but doesn’t seem to care, as he knees R-Truth right in the gut. Wade then whips Truth into the barricade, and then follows that up with a big boot right to Truth. Wade then continues to pound in R-Truth’s face, and then back up, and hits a running knee, slamming R-Truth’s head back into the barricade. Wade then picks up steel steps, and attempts them to throw them right at R-Truth, but Truth moves out of the way from it, and hits a Lou Thesz press on Barrett, and then continues to hit him. R-Truth is bleeding as well.

Foley: This is a blood bath already Cole.

Cole:
I know Foley, I agree, just look at R-Truth.

Foley: You know, you always have to turn a positive into a negative don’t you?

Cole: No, and let’s just get back to the match.

R-Truth then throws Wade Barrett back into the ring, and Wade follows it up with a boot to the head, and then another one to the back of the spine. Wade then picks him up, and kicks him in the gut twice and hits a power bomb, but Wade doesn’t let go, and pulls Truth all the way back up, and hits a sit-down-power-bomb. Wade then goes to the outside, and picks up a steel chair, and brings it back to the ring, and meets a kick in the gonads by R-Truth. Truth then hits an enzuigiri, causing Wade to fall to the floor. Truth goes for the cover, but only gets 2. Truth then picks up Barrett, but Barrett hits Truth in the gut twice, and then another punch to the gut, which causes Truth to break the hold, and when Truth comes back, and is lifted up by Barrett, and hits Wasteland. Barrett goes for the cover, and gets the 1, 2, 3.
Winner: Wade Barrett (5:50)

**End Of Days**

Barrett then celebrates in the ring, knowing that he’s going to Backlash, but then turns around, and eats a barbed-wire 2X4 shot to the face by Sabu, and then Sabu places the 2X4 on Barrett’s chest, and hits a springboard moonsault onto Barrett, and the barbed wire 2X4.

Cole: Sabu is crazy!

Foley: Trust me Cole, I know, he’s really something.

The camera zooms in on Sabu, who is somehow standing up after the moonsault, and then on Barrett, who is out on the ground. The camera then turns to JBL’s and Joe Henning’s locker room, where JBL is ready, and Joe Henning is taping, and putting a pad on his left knee.

JBL: Listen, even though we lost last week, this is even a bigger match-up for us, so please, I ask you, don’t mess it up.

Henning: Don’t worry, I won’t, we are going to win this match without a problem.

JBL: That’s it, pretty soon, you’ll be winning championships left and right just like I was back in the day, but that is not now. Now, you follow me, and now, you listen to me, get, got it, good.

Henning: I got you.

Chris Jericho now walks into the locker room.

Jericho: Good evening gentlemen, I just came here to say that let me take HHH. You guys can get the other two, but just make sure that I get The Game, alright?

JBL: Chris, as much as I like you, and respect your opinion, I call the shots out here, it’s my house here, Smackdown is my show.

Jericho: You know what John, I suggest that you shut your mouth, and listen to me, because I obviously have had way more success in this industry than you have. It’s just because I am the best WRESTLER in the world.

JBL:
You want to talk about success, I am the longest reigning world champion in Smackdown history. Now, I suggest that you…….

Joe Henning stands up, and breaks the two apart.

Henning: Guys listen, I don’t have an ego to inflate, and all I want is to inflict lots and lots of pain on these guys. All I have to ask is for you two to just be a team, just for this match.

JBL and Chris Jericho each shake their heads in agreement.

JBL:
Alright.

Jericho: Okay.

They each shake hands and Joe Henning puts his hands on each of their shoulders, as they start to discuss strategy, as Henning gets back to working on his knee.

**Commercial Break**

Match 6

6 man tag team match

Chris Jericho, JBL, and Joe Henning vs. Ezekiel Jackson, HHH, and Shawn Michaels

**Break It Down**

The crowd pops the loudest they have yet in the show, as DX comes down to the ring.

Cole: Words really can’t describe how much I hate these guy’s antics, and how happy I was when they split, but now they’re back, sadly.

Foley: Cole, just because you were that kid that always tried to hang out with these guys, but they always bullied you, doesn’t mean you have to hate them now.

DX makes their way to the ring, and wait for their partner, Ezekiel Jackson, and their opponents.

**Domination**

Ezekiel Jackson comes out smiling, and waving to the crowd; as he walks down the ramp, he starts to high-five the fans, as he makes his way into the ring.

Cole:
You know Foley, this monster Ezekiel Jackson used to be an absolute beast, now he’s the exact opposite.

Foley: Would you like to step into the ring with him Cole?

**Longhorn**

Cole:
Look, here comes an actual legend of a wrestler in JBL.

JBL and Joe Henning walk out of JBL’s limo with JBL’s driver letting them out, and the two walk down the entrance way to a chorus of boos with Henning talking and taunting the crowd, while JBL just ignores the fans, and continues to walk down the entrance way, and into the ring.

**Break The Walls Down**

Chris Jericho comes out to a massive chorus of boos, as HHH just stares at him, while Jericho is pointing at HHH, and talking smack to HHH as he enters the ring.

Cole: Looks like there’s some early heat between these two, eh Foley.

Foley: Who HHH and Jericho, and if so yeah there is a good amount of tension between the two.

Cole: Yeah there really is ladies and gentlemen, you could cut the tension with a knife.

Foley: Not just with the two though Cole, with all 6 guys.

Cole:
True, that is true; now let’s get to the match.

The bell rings, and we’re underway, as Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels start it out. They lock up, and Jericho gains the early advantage by taking Shawn to the ground in a headlock, after a while, Shawn is able to kick up, and twist the arm of Chris Jericho. Shawn continues to work on Jericho’s arm for a while, before he tags in JBL. JBL uses his power to knock Michaels down a couple of times with shoulder blocks and clotheslines. JBL goes for another clothesline, by Michaels ducks it, and hits an arm drag, followed by another arm drag, and then a tag into his old buddy, HHH. HHH comes in, and bounces off of the ropes, and hits a flying knee on JBL, HHH goes for the pin, but only gets 1. HHH picks JBL up, but JBL is able to pick up HHH, and hits a Samoan Drop.

Foley:
I’ll get it this time Cole, but anyway, sorry, but we have to go to a commercial, but we’ll be right back here on Smackdown.

**Commercial Break**

We come back, and JBL is in there with Ezekiel Jackson, as we get highlights from the commercial break, including JBL tagging in Joe Henning, then Henning back to JBL, and HHH tagging in Big Zeke. Jackson tries to lock in a bearhug, but JBL claps Jackson’s face twice, and tags back in Chris Jericho, who comes out, and hits a dropkick to the kneeling Ezekiel Jackson. Jericho goes for the cover, but only gets 2, as he lets out a very loud grunt after Jackson kicked up. Jericho waits for Ezekiel, and Jericho bounces off of the ropes, and hits a diving; flying cross-body. Jericho then goes over to the opposite ropes, and hits a lionsault. Jericho then drags Jackson over to his corner, and he tags in Joe Henning, and the two start to stomp on Big Zeke, who is sitting in the corner.

Henning then goes for a cover, but Jackson kicks up at 2. Henning then locks in a figure-4-leg-lock to Jackson, who after a while, escapes the hold, but is un-successful in tagging in one of his partners. Jericho tries to hold on to Jackson’s left foot, but Jackson is able to pound (punch) his way out of Jericho’s grip, and tag in Shawn Michaels, who charges in, and hits a forearm shot to Jericho’s face, which knocks him down. Jericho then gets back up, and Michaels bounces off of the ropes, and hits a flying forearm this time, and now, Michaels is feeling it, and climbs to the top rope, and hits his signature elbow drop on Jericho, but after Michaels connects with it, Jericho leaps towards his corner, and tags in Joe Henning.

Henning comes out, and pounces on Michaels with a Lou Thesz press, followed by a few punches. Henning then gets up, and waits for Michaels to get up, and whips Michaels into a corner, and hits a stinger splash, followed by a back body drop. JBL is yelling orders at Henning from the apron, saying “show no mercy,” but then he says a peculiar one, saying “come over here” in the middle of a match. Henning obeys, and JBL give him a drink, which allows Michaels to get up, but then have Henning hit him with a clothesline.

Cole:
What was that about?

Foley:
I don’t know, but maybe he just wanted to keep his partner from getting dehydrated, I really don’t know.

Henning picks Michaels up, and starts taunting him, until he hits two chops on him, and followed by a DDT. Henning goes for the cover, but Ezekiel Jackson breaks it up at 2, and then JBL comes out, and throws Jackson outside of the ring. Henning gets up, and watches on as JBL and Jackson brawl outside of the ring. That allows Michaels to kick up, and hit inverted DDT, followed by a tag into HHH. HHH comes out, and starts to brawl with Henning. Henning and HHH are having a swing-fest right now, until HHH whips Henning off of the ropes, and hits a flying knee. HHH waits for Henning to get up, and he hits a AA Spinebuster, followed by his signal that it’s time for the Pedigree. Just as HHH was turning around to get Henning, Chris Jericho comes in, and hits a codebreaker on HHH with the referee distracted at watching JBL and Ezekiel Jackson fight on the outside. Chris Jericho goes over to get the referee’s attention just as Henning hits a Running One-Armed Swinging Neckbreaker, and he pins HHH and the ref counts for the 1, 2, 3. The bell rings, and Joe Henning has just pinned HHH to win the match for his team.
Winners: JBL, Joe Henning, and Chris Jericho (12:56)

JBL climbs into the ring, as the 3 celebrate the victory to loud boos from the crowd, and Ezekiel Jackson climbs into the ring to check on both HHH and Shawn Michaels as the winners keep celebrating, and the losers start to walk back to the backstage area. The camera now cuts to John Morrison, who’s just bouncing around; getting ready for his up and coming World Heavyweight Championship match, inside of a steel cage; against Kane.

Cole:
Our steel cage main event for the World Heavyweight Championship with John Morrison vs. Kane is coming up next.

**Commercial Break**

Match 7

Steel Cage Match for the World Heavyweight Championship

John Morrison vs. Kane

Cole: It’s now time for our main event; now let’s see how these two made it here.

Highlights of John Morrison’s and Kane’s 2 matches each to get into the finals of this tournament. We go back to the arena, where the camera is zooming in on the steel cage making its way down from the ceiling.

Cole: That cage will hold whether John Morrison or Kane walks out as the World Heavyweight Champion tonight.

Foley: I don’t know how to sum it up better myself Cole.

Cole:
Just something to note is that this match will be brought to you without any commercial interruptions.

**Man On Fire**

Kane walks out of the backstage area to a pretty decent pop, as he approaches the steel cage, and grabs onto it, while smiling.

**Ain’t No Make Believe**

John Morrison comes out to a huge pop, as he does his usual entrance, and as he reaches the cage, he looks up at Kane, who is smiling, and laughing at him. Morrison climbs into the cage, and the referee locks the door.

Foley:
Remember Cole, Kane is a 3-time world champion, having won the WWE, World Heavyweight, and ECW titles once each, and John Morrison is looking to win a world title for the first time, right here tonight.

The bell rings, and we’re underway, as Kane starts out with some punches to John Morrison, causing John to back away into a corner. Kane then hits an uppercut, and then when Kane backs up and waits for John Morrison to approach him, and then Kane slams Morrison head against the steel cage once, and then he slams Morrison’s head against the cage again! Kane goes for a quick cover, but Morrison is just able to kick up at 2.

Foley: I don’t think that’s going to do it Cole.

Cole: I really don’t care, as long as John Morrison doesn’t win, I don’t like Kane, but I can’t stand Morrison.

We go back to the action inside of the ring, as Kane attempts to go for a falling powerbomb, but Morrison escapes it when Kane lifted him up, and then Morrison hits a jumping kick to the face on Kane. Morrison then hits a facebuster on Kane, and he then attempts to climb the cage, **crowd pops as he climbs up the cage** but Kane is able to catch him when Morrison was about a little more than half-way up the cage. Kane throws him down to the mat, and now Kane starts to climb the cage, but Morrison eventually gets back up, and JUMPS onto the cage, and climbs up to catch Kane, and as Morrison catches Kane, they start punching each other, until Morrison is able to lifts his right leg up, and kick Kane in the head, and than hits a hurricanrana off the cage (they were about 3/4ths of the way up). Morrison then goes for the cover, 1, 2, but Kane kicks up! **crowd sighs**

Cole: That was too close for comfort.

Foley: Aw, Cole, do you want JBL to come out here, and snuggle with you?

Cole: I think that your sock is way too far down your crotch Foley.

Morrison then gets up, and hits a 180 standing spinning leg drop, and then bounces off of the ropes, and hits a front-flip drop onto Kane. Morrison then picks Kane up, and goes for a Russian legsweep, but Kane is able to elbow his way out of it, as he hits 3 back elbows to Morrison’s chest. Kane then picks Morrison up, and hits a backbreaker. Kane then picks Morrison up again, and whips Morrison into a corner, and retreats to the other corner, and hits a big running splash, followed by a Sidewalk Slam. Kane then hits a Running Low-Angle Dropkick to Morrison who eventually did sit up. Kane goes for the cover, but again only gets 2.

Kane then climbs the turnbuckles, and waits for Morrison to get up, and when Morrison does get up, Kane hits a flying clothesline, and then Kane sets up for a chokeslam. **crowd pops** Morrison gets up, and Kane gets his hands around Morrison’s throat, and hits a chokeslam! Kane then climbs the ropes, and hops onto the cage, and starts to climb; only looking back at Morrison twice. Morrison eventually does get up, and he starts to completely bolt up the cage, and he eventually catches up to Kane ear the top of the cage. Kane and Morrison eventually do both hit the top of the cage, and they are now brawling it out on top; throwing shots left and right, until Morrison stunned Kane, but Kane follows it up with an uppercut. Kane then attempts to throw Morrison down, but Kane’s grip slips, and Morrison turns the tables by throwing Kane down into the ring; on his butt.

Morrison then stands up on top of the cage, and jumps off, and hits a leg drop onto Kane from on top of the cage! Morrison then climbs to the top rope, and hits Starship Pain. Morrison then points to Kane, **crowd pops** and then Morrison then points to the top of the cage, **crowd pops even louder** and Morrison starts to climb up the cage, with Kane being laid-out on the floor. Morrison eventually does reach the top of the cage, and when he does, he sits there, and starts to clap at the crowd, and do his signature pose, with cameras flashing everywhere from all across the arena, as Morrison starts to shed a tear, as he knows that he’s about to win the World Heavyweight Title. Morrison then starts to slowly climb down the cage; cherishing the moment, and when he hits the ground, he falls to his knees, as the bell rings, and he has just won the World Heavyweight Title.
Winner: John Morrison (15:03)

John Morrison is handed the title, as he puts it on the ground, and kneels right in front of it; putting his face on the title; signifying that it’s finally his, after so long, and then Morrison picks his head up, where there are visibly some tears on his face after just winning the title.

Foley: He did it, he did it! John Morrison is the World Heavyweight Champion folks.

Michael Cole just sits there quiet and enraged.

Morrison starts to walk into the crowd with the title, and he finds a random row, and leans into some random fans with the title in his hand. **crowd pops very loud, as they are almost just as happy as he is after his huge title victory**

Foley:
Well since Cole is all moody, I’ll say it. What a night we’ve had tonight, and tune in next week to Smackdown, and congratulations to John Morrison for winning the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time tonight, and we’ll see you next week.

Arlo did the poster, and thanks for reading, and sorry for my review hiatus, so I'll give a review for any review that I get, thanks.

GCB's RAW REVIEW:

Not caught up with SMACKDOWN yet, will review RAW.

Last time, I wanted to see you improve your promos and the formatting. The formatting is improving and it looks easier to read now. It's still hit and miss and I think you need to make a decision on what you're going to go with in your formatting. It needs to be the same on both shows, consistency is big. I have the code tags in my Word documents and I have a frame for each show set up and saved. All I do is fill in the middle parts. If you've got the match segment saved, you can copy it in and then just edit the information in to it. Promos were much better and they gave an insight into the direction of your show - I was more interested in the matches as a result.

Right, the booking. Hardcore Title back, great. Sandman looking dominant backstage so I see him vs. Dreamer now. Could be fun. Punk and Austin sequence was good, you need to watch some Youtube clips to further improve their sequences. Punk beating Sin Cara made him strong but Sin Cara suffers with the quickness of the loss. Del Rio, Cena and Orton was good and then having Cena accept Orton's challenge but then get caught by Del Rio was interesting. Triple Threat? I hope that the little bit of tension between Edge and Christian is not going where I think it is going. If you turn Christian on Edge, you'd better have a damn good idea how to make that really interesting. Goldberg makes Orton look sooooooooooo weak. Not good. Running over Orton in under 8 minutes says that Goldberg is going to dominate and I would hate to see that. It's boring and we've seen it before.

POSITIVES:
- Improved formatting
- Much improved promos
- Cena, Orton and Del Rio segment and the Cena vs. Del Rio match ending

IMPROVEMENTS:
- Goldberg dominating everybody on the roster = boring and crap
- More improvement and consistency with formatting

To continue my reviewing spree, I'm looking at your stuff Best and I like the feuds that you've made and the build towards Backlash and already you'd provided some :gasp: moments. Justin Gabriel winning the IC Title and more to the point, John Morrison defeating The Undertaker on SmackDown. That was HUGE. I was literally shocked.

But anywho, I'm going to agree with most of the people on the formatting. I'm not good at reviews, but I see you've improved on your match writing. Don't get me wrong, it's good, but it's better than how you first had it. I was gonna touch on the lack of promos, but you seemed to have improved on that as well. Maybe 1 or 2 backstage promos wouldn't hurt either.

Now, I'm certainly interested in Punk/Goldberg. I can only imagine the promos CM Punk would cut on Goldberg and how much of a Monster Goldberg is. I can't wait to see this feud play out.

Lastly, I LOVE that you made John Morrison the World Heavyweight Champion. Been waiting for someone to give him the belt, BUT I think it would've been bigger if you had Morrison defeat Undertaker in the Finals than Kane. I mean I know Kane is Kane an all, but a guy like Morrison beating Undertaker for the World Title would turn heads.

But, I WILL be following these storylines and watching them closely.

Keep up the good work dude.

Dudeee, having John Morrison as your champ is awesome. Good to finally see some new star get his chance to shine. One thing I like about your BT is that it's pretty different than what we're used to. You Punk/Goldberg, and Morrison being your star. It's just great to see.

One thing you gotta work on though is formatting. Check out some other BTs and see how they format their shows. Not saying yours is bad though, it's readable, it's just that it could be better.

Looking forward to see how you continue to book Morrison!

Ill touch on one show at a time, starting with the first Raw, so I can give you 4 reviews in the next 4 days.

Raw, Week 1.

I know that Ross and Lawler mentioned that the titles were vacated, and rosters were shaken up because of the draft, but it would have been nice to hear a reason why the titles were vacated. Thats just the type of attention to detail that makes the titles seem more important. If the "why" isn't addressed, its hard to invest in it. I do like the mixture of past and current stars however, and the rosters seem to be equally deep.

Hmmmm, curious opening promo by Punk. Why was he talking about destiny when thats clearly Alberto Del Rio's schtick? But a decent opening promo with Punk infusing good humor with insults towars his competion that evening, and his line about destiny served as a great buffer to bring Del Rio out. Neither Del Rio nor Cena were given enough time though to establish themselves througb a promo, however. WHile I know theres probably a desire to get the titles around waists, promos are essential for a first show to establish the character of each wrestler in your promotion.

Im not sure how I feel about Del Rio and Punk beating Cena down, and then getting owned by Goldberg. I wish they would have been made to look stronger if theyre going to get the best of the top face of this generation, and have Cena recover to even the odds rather then Goldberg dominating them. Decent enough backstage segment with Orton, we know hes a heel now.

Rikishi and Mercury just seemed to be an odd, thrown together match, with no real backstory. Rikishi utterly squashed Mercury, who didnt get a single offensive maneuver in. I guess that establishes Rikishi is going to be a force to be reckoned with. But odd choice for the opener, especially since you followed with Sabu and Sin Cara, which seems to be a more logical choice. Still, it put over Rikishi as dominant, I hope you follow up with this.

Fun backstage promo with Edge, Christian, and Vikki. Curious to see Edge not join Christian in making fun of Vikki, as hes always been good for that. Christian was very funny though, with Edge portrayed as the more levelheaded, mature one. Interesting choice of pairing Miz with Rekks, it works with Big Show competing in the main event later. Id expect a decent back and forth match, with the established team coming out victorious.

The second match was laid out beautifully, and Lawler and Ross gave an excellent call on it. Sabu and Cara would be a dream match, and the way it was built, it was done excellently. Interesting use of blood so early, but it fit within the context of the styles of the two. Sin Cara obviously has more of an upside then the 40-something Sabu, so this was the right choice here in putting him over. A well done beatdown in the end with Show using

Good plug following by Ross and Lawler for the matches to follow. It would be nice to see what criteria was used to determine who would fight for the IC Title and WWE Title, as no real reason was given as to how these men became top contenders. One needs to justify reasoning. Did they declare their intentions for the title(s)? Was it based upon preliminary matches held before the shows were re-launched? Just as you mentioned that there was a draft, a mention of how these men became top contenders would have been nice to say. No complaints about the men in the match, I just would have touched on why they're there.

Not a terrible match in E & C vs Rekks and Miz, Id just use more material to flesh out the time alotted in the match. In other words, use more description and give the impression that the 6 minute match is longer then the 3 minute one. Show's interference
made perfect sense given the insults thrown at Vikki earlierby Christian, so no problem with this ending in a DQ. A well done beatdown in the end with Show using the con-chair-to against Egde. Im not sure how I feel with Christian running off instead of fighting with his partner, as thats's more of a heel act then a face.

Decent enough match between Kozlov and Gabriel. It played up each man's strengths and areas of vulnerability throughout the match, so that was very well done in that sense. Lawler and Ross both injected life into the match with their call of it, and the entusiasm of prctically rooting on Gabriel. There's nothing wrong with the face commentators cheering on the underdog face. The only thing Id change is the presentation, as Id lay out the whole match myself. I guess this would be more understandable in a lower-card match, but for a championship, Id lay out the entire match. Still good here overall.

The main event eliminations were well described. Im curious to see where Randy Orton stands in the pecking order of things, as he was the first out. The elimination of Show there made complete sense with the elimination via the hand of Christian, which I presume is setting up an E &C vs SHowMiz feud, maybe for the tag titles. Nice payback angle there. To me it seems as if Punk is being portrayed as the top heel here, having thrown out Cor Von and MVP is rapid fire succession. The Punk push continues with him throwing out Del RIo next, and the Punk domination of the battle royal is complete with Punk thowing out Cena. He needed to be made to look like a strong, credible opponent for Goldberg, and that's exaclty what this did. I was never a Goldberg fan myself, as Id rather see a guy whose currently wrestling fighting for the top title in the company, but Punk vs Del Rio is an intriguing match.

FInal Thoughts: I know alot of this sounds somewhat critical, but I was just offerring suggestions. In reality, this was an excellent first show if this is your first Book This. It would have been nice to touch on why the titles were vacated, why the men who did make championship matches did to earn it, or deserve their spot. Id get rid of the Start, Finish, and End, and just write a complete match, but flesh them out more in order to make the longer matches feel exacltly that: Longer then the shorter matches. A few more promos would have helped, especially in the first show, and to establish whose feuding with who, and why. But you made most of the matches feel important with the energy that King and Lawler brought to them. The promos you did run were effective, it just didnt feel like you quite hit that two hour show mark with the short matches more then not, and the very short promos. Good show overall though, and look for my first SD reiew to come later today. m

Show was terrible, but nothing spectacular either. Promos were hit or miss. Some I just couldn't get behind any. The first one that opened the show came to mind, as I really just didn't get behind it.

Matches were pretty solid, bit short, but solid. Not sure about Henry/Taker again, but maybe you'll provide something different to it. Sticking with the matches, the format is a bit shaky. It is mainly the font at the heading of the match. It sort of blurs together and just is hard to read. I'd also change up the commentating color in the match box as it just blends everything.

Overall I look forward to seeing what you do with Morrison as the guy and how the midcard develops here on SD with the likes of Mark Henry, Hennig, Storm, etc... I love that we have a mix of vets and young guys here and it will definitely be a stepping stone for them and help you book them as legit stars.

I have enjoyed the product thus far. As stated promo's could use some work, but other than that I really have no problem with your formatting. I will say though that putting the title on JoMo so quickly was a mistake. Don't get me wrong I do enjoy Morrison as much as the next guy but I feel like you could have really built up him winning the title into something a little more special. Other than that though I like where everything is going. Punk/Goldberg should be fun as should Cena/Orton and the tag titles match. Really looking forward to the PPV.

I will toss a quick review, but it will be short, I really don't have a lot to say. The show really wasn't that great, it wasn't that bad either. Everything just really blends together. It is just kind of bland. But I will say you are coming along nicely, and are gaining experience in this whole writing thing. Your formatting has come along a lot better. And Morrison getting the title push is very sudden, I would have preferred a slower build, but it does stick out and he seems to be a major player which gives it some attention. Decent show overall, it needs some work but you are coming along. I'll keep reading, good luck moving along.

Week 3

FedExForum, Memphis, Tennessee

An intro comes on, and the camera cuts to JR and The King.

JR: Good evening, and welcome to Monday Night Raw, good evening ladies and gentlemen, I’m Jim Ross, and along with my partner in crime, Jerry “The King” Lawler, and we’re in for some good action tonight, eh King?

Lawler: We sure are JR, 2 weeks away from Backlash, and Goldberg and CM Punk are going to have their contract signing tonight, I can’t wait to see what goes down there, as CM Punk blindsided Goldberg last week here on Raw!

JR: We will also have a huge 8 man tag match between Edge, Christian, Chavo Guerrero, and Rey Mysterio will take on The Miz, Big Show, and two newcomers, The Great Khali, and Ryno.

Lawler: Another newcomer Jamie Noble will also debut; taking on Rikishi, plus Marcus Cor Von will explain his actions on MVP from last week.

**The Time Is Now**

John Cena comes out; looking fired up to a huge pop from the crowd. Cena salutes the crowd, before running into the ring, and throwing his hat into the stands; he grabs a mic.

Cena: Now, last week I was screwed out of my match with Miguel El Martinez, or whatever that guys name is. **crowd pops at the Del Rio bashing** The reason why I was screwed out of that match was because of Randy Orton. Now, just in case you missed the show last week, here’s the footage.

The titantron shows Randy Orton with a baseball bat next to John Cena’s locker room when Cena had the STF locked in on Del Rio, it then shows Cena accepting Orton’s challenge, and then Del Rio schoolboying Cena for the win.

Cena: Now, it is confirmed, I will face Randy Orton at Backlash, without that angry piñata getting in the way, but tonight, actually right now, I’m calling you out Randy, one on one; just you and me.

**Realeza**

Alberto Del Rio comes out in a 2004 Aston Martin DB9 worth $163,900. Del Rio enters the ring, and grabs a mic.

Del Rio: Annoying piñata? I’m the annoying piñata? You’re the one prancing around in his great bright colored shirt, kissing Vince’s ass, and being handed title matches left and right. John, I tell you, I’ll be watching your match with Randy Orton very closely, because I can’t wait to watch Randy Orton punt your face in over, and over again.

**Voices**

Randy Orton comes out to huge heat; looking at Cena and Del Rio constantly on his way down.

Orton: Now guys, do we really have to do this again? Alberto, yes I will punt John Cena in the head at Backlash, but I don’t need you to tell me that.

Alberto tries to go up to Randy for a stare down, but Randy now moves towards John Cena.

Orton: Now, you John, you just really know how to get on my nerves, now don’t you? You see last week, I wanted you to be mad! I wanted you to come out, and make me come out; I wanted you to be angry, and ignore these little cockroaches in the crowd here, and make me feel like you’re worthy of beating……again.

Cena: I…..

Orton: Don’t talk John, you see that’s why I got you to except this match, I am sick of you. I’m sick of your talk, and I’m sick of Vince kissing up to you as the poster boy, as you and me both know John that anybody over the age of 13 and containing a pair of testicles in this arena know that you have no talent at all. **younger fans boo very loudly, as some “you can’t wrestle,” and “Cena sucks” chants blast from the older male audience.**

Cena takes off his shirt, throws it into the crowd, and starts to get up close to Orton.

Cena: You know Randy, I can’t wait until Backlash, I can’t wait.

Ricardo Rodriguez comes out from the backstage area, and whispers something into Alberto Del Rio’s ear.

Del Rio: Good idea Ricardo, now how about since all 3 of us don’t have matches tonight, how about we lock it up in a handicap match?

Cena: I accept.

Orton: No Alberto, I don’t want him in a hospital less than 2 weeks before our match at Backlash, how about a tag team match. John, you can pick anybody on the WWE roster as you tag partner, and I guarantee they won’t be able to beat me.

Del Rio: I think you mean us.

Orton turns around, and gives his casual; sly stare and Del Rio puts the mic down and his hands up.

Cena: You mean anybody on the entire WWE roster.

Orton: Yes John, I’m glad that you can hear, now if only you could improve your wrestling ability. **Another mix of boos and cheers from the crowd**

Cena: Really, anyone?

Orton: Yes John! Anyone that you can think of.

Cena: Alright, my partner will be The Undertaker; we’ll see you in the ring. **crowd cheers loudly at the two teaming up together **

Cena leaves the ring, as Orton and Del Rio look at eachother in near shock, Orton tells Del Rio to come with him, as John exits the entrance ramp into the backstage area, as Ricardo follows, and eventually walks next to Del Rio and Orton. The ring now just has 3 microphones laying down on it.

Ross: Wow, what an announcement, and it has just been confirmed folks, John Cena and the legendary Undertaker will be taking on Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio later on tonight.

**Commercial Break**

We come back, and camera cuts to Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler.

Lawler: We are ready to get our first match of the night going on here in my hometown of Memphis, Tennessee, as Rikishi will take of newcomer Jamie Noble.

Ross: Remember King, Noble is a former Cruiserweight Champion way back in the day.

Lawler: Yeah, and David Arquette is a former WCW Champion, mistake happen.

Ross: Well, I don’t think this was a mistake exactly King.

Lawler: JR, ready, David Arquette, former WCW Champion, mistakes happen, okay; now let’s get to this match.

**A Country Boy Can Survive**

Jamie Noble makes his way out to the ring to a very silent crowd reaction, but mainly some boos come out of the mostly older; male fans. Noble enters the ring, and is getting ready to take on the 400+ pound Samoan monster, Rikishi.

**A Country Boy Can Survive**

Noble’s music keeps playing, as Rikishi comes out dancing to it, which inspired a good pop from the crowd, as Noble is looking very mad.

Match 1

Singles Match

Rikishi vs. Jamie Noble

Rikishi finally enters the ring, after a fair amount of dancing, and Noble steps up to him, right as he gets in the ring.

Ross: C’mon King, he stole the other guy’s theme music.

Lawler: Are you serious Ross? I thought that was hilarious; I wish that he would do that more often.

The bell rings, and we’re underway and Noble steps up to Rikishi. Noble then stomps on Rikishi’s toes, causing the big man to do absolutely nothing. Noble then tries to poke Rikishi in the eyes, but Rikishi just steps back slightly, as Noble tries to poke his eyes again, but Rikishi stops it by grabbing Noble’s arm, and hitting a Samoan Drop. Rikishi then picks Noble up, dances a little bit, and then hits a Savate Kick. Rikishi goes for the cover, but only gets 2. Rikishi then picks Noble up, but Noble tries to fight back; hitting rights and lefts to Rikishi’s body, but Rikishi just follows that up with a head butt.

Ross: Rikishi looks dominant so far Lawler.

Lawler: Of course he does JR, look at his opponent.

Rikishi then picks Noble back up, and hits another head butt to Noble, and then picks him up, and hits a belly-to-belly suplex on the former Cruiserweight Champion. Rikishi then drags Noble over to the corner, taunts him, and then hits a stink face on Noble. Rikishi then gets out of the ring, and starts to high-five the fans, and dance in front of them; literally paying no attention to Noble at all. Noble then gets up, and goes for a cross body, but Rikishi catches him, and throws him back into the ring, (under the bottom rope) but as Rikishi slides in, Noble hits 5 big, right, boot stomps on Rikishi, before bouncing off of the ropes, but only to eat another Savate Kick by Rikishi. Rikishi then drags Noble over to near the corner, and hits a Banzai Drop, and goes for the pin, and gets the 1, 2, 3.

Winner: Rikishi (2:58)

Rikishi celebrates his victory in the ring by dancing, and then when he leaves the ring, he dances even more.

We cut backstage to Eve Torres with Tyler Reks.

Eve: I’m here with the number 1 contender for Justin Gabriel’s Intercontinental Title, Tyler Reks! Now Tyler, any strategy going into your championship match against Gabriel at Backlash?

Reks: You see Eve, there is. That strategy is to beat the living crap out of Justin Gabriel, and take his title; nothing much simpler than that.

Eve: That is true, but what about Gabriel’s high-flying based attacks?

Reks: You can’t bounce off of the ropes with broken ribs, or a broken leg Eve.

Eve: Alright now, I’m going to let you go, thanks for your time.

Reks: That’s it, what a waste, if this was Gabriel, you’d probably be taking him back to your hotel now, you disgusting…………

**Commercial Break**

We come back from the needed short break due to the offensiveness of Reks’ language, Reks just said something to Eve, and walked off.

**It’s Time**

The Smackdown superstar, Gregory Helms walks out to decent heat from the crowd on his way to the ring.

**Boogeyman**

The Boogeyman comes out, and does his usual peculiar entrance, to a decent pop from the crowd; Helms looks a little scared and freaked out from it.

JR: It’s the night of debuts King, this is both Helm’s and Boogey’s first match here since being brought back, along with Jamie Noble earlier tonight, and The Great Khali, and Ryno later tonight.

Lawler:
Wow, this Boogeyman has always freaked me out, and now they have to bring him back.

Match 2

Singles Match

The Boogeyman vs. Gregory Helms

The bell rings, and we start this match with Boogey and Helms locking up, with Boogeyman backing Helms into a corner, and then does his weird whip; sending Helms into the opposite corner. The Boogeyman then follows it up with a stinger splash. After Helms stumbles back towards the center of the ring, and is met by 3 head butts by The Boogeyman, followed by 3 straight clotheslines with Boogey hanging onto Helms’ arm on all 3 of the clotheslines. The Boogeyman then bounces off the ropes, and hits a standing leg drop. Boogey then slowly goes for the cover, 1, 2, no! Gregory Helms just managed to kick up.

The Boogeyman then slowly gets up and waits for Helms, and when Helms does get up, he eats a sidewalk slam from The Boogeyman. Boogey again goes for the cover, but only gets two again, and he tries it again, and this time he only gets one. Both Boogey and Helms gets up, and Helms knees The Boogeyman in the gut; followed by an attempted Shining Wizard, but Boogey is able to slip out of it, and hits a slingshot; sending Helms into the corner. When Helms comes back, Boogey kicks him in the gut, and hits a jumping leg drop; smacking Helms face on the mat. Boogey then quickly picks Helms up, kicks him in the gut, bounces off of the ropes, and hits a Lou Thesz press; followed by a few punches (lefts and rights).

Lawler: Boogey is looking strong so far, wouldn’t you say JR?

Ross: I would say King, he is looking very strong.

Boogey then picks Helms up, but Helms fights back; hitting Boogey with lefts and rights, and then follows that up with a TopSpin Facebuster. Helms then gets fired up, to the displeasing of the crowd, and he follows that up with a Straight Jacket Sitout Sleeper Slam, and Helms goes for the cover, 1, 2, no! Boogey now barely got his shoulder up off of the mat. Helms then attempts to pick Boogey up, but Boogey pokes Helms’ eyes, gets up, and hits a double-handed chokeslam. The Boogeyman then sets up Helms, and hits the Goodnight, and followed by The Boogey Slam for the 1, 2, 3.
Winner: The Boogeyman (5:32)

The Boogeyman then takes out his worms, and eats them, and dumps a few on Helms. Boogey then exits the ring to a decent pop from the crowd.

Ross: Not a bad match, but coming up next, we will have The Sandman take on Vladimir Koslov, in what is looking to shape up to be one brutal match.

**Commercial Break**

We come back, and Vladimir Koslov’s music hits, as we take it to Ross and Lawler at the announce table ringside.

**Pain**

Lawler: We haven’t seen this Russian mauler since his loss to Justin Gabriel for the Intercontinental Title a couple of weeks back.

Ross: That’s right King, and Koslov looks like he’s ready to tear Sandman’s head apart.

**Enter Sandman**

Sandman comes out through the crowd to a huge pop, as he does his normal beer-bashing against the head entrance, as he walks down to the ring pretty bloodied.

Lawler: You know, I never did understand the actions of this man, but I guess it works, but I tell you, that I would never try it.

Sandman gets into the ring, and grabs a mic.

Sandman: Hey, are all you all tonight! Memphis, Tennessee, yeah; now I understand that you know at Backlash that I will have a chance at the Hardcore Title against 3 other men.

The crowd pops for Sandman, as Vladimir Koslov just stands in one of the corners with his arms crossed, as Sandman is getting ready to continue talking.

Sandman: Now tonight, I will be facing this Russian bear name Vladimirrrrr Koslovvvvv. Now, I understand that this is just a regular one-on-one singles match, but at Backlash it won’t be a regular match. No, no, no, no, no it won’t, it will be a hardcore match! Now, instead of this being just a regular match, Vladimir, I challenge you to a tables match.

Sandman then throws the microphone, which is easily caught with two hands by the Russian, Koslov.

Koslov: I accept, you stupid; drunken American!

Match 3

Tables Match

Sandman vs. Vladimir Koslov

The bell rings, as Vladimir looks like he’s about to just throw the mic away, but instead he throws it right a The Sandman’s open wound! Koslov then follows that up with some headbutts; followed by an Irish whip off of the ropes, which is followed by a big boot by Koslov right on Sandman’s open wound. Koslov then follows that up with a standing elbow drop, and than he bounces off of the ropes, and hits another standing elbow drop. Koslov then exits the ring, and goes under the apron to get a table, which he brings into the ring, and places it near the center of the ring. Koslov then picks Sandman up, and puts him on the second turnbuckle, and than Sandman eventually climbs up to the top turnbuckle while Vladimir Koslov follows him. Koslov attempts to suplex him into the table, but Sandman is able to fight it off with some back elbows, which causes Koslov to let go of his grip, but just as Sandman stopped throwing the back elbows, Koslov locked his grip back in. Sandman then continues to throw the elbows only this time, he forces Koslov to fall off of the turnbuckle.

Sandman then follows it up with Heineken-rana, which causes Koslov to fly at the table; hitting its side, but not breaking it. Sandman then goes over to Koslov, who is now sitting against the table, and starts pounding him with right hands, and than he adds in some lefts along with more rights. Sandman eventually gets off of him, and goes under the apron, and grabs a kendo stick, which oddly he didn’t bring to the ring. Sandman then re-enters the ring, and lines up Koslov, and then he starts swinging for the fences. He swings the stick 8 times, and connects with the Russian 5 of those 8 times. Sandman then picks him up, and hits an inverted DDT.

Lawler: Wow, what a crazy match, but we have to go to commercial now.

Ross: Wow, look at Koslov, he busted open, probably from all of those kendo stick shots.

Lawler: We have to get cut off by commercial, stay with us!

**Commercial Break**

We come back, and we see Koslov’s bloody face, with Sandman behind him; hitting Koslov’s back with his fists and forearms. We can also see that in addition to the table that was already in the ring from earlier, there is another table lined up on the outside of the ring. Koslov now gets back to a completely vertical base, and him and Sandman start throwing the fists at each other. Koslov eventually gains the advantage, which follows up with a knee to the gut. Sandman then backs into a corner, which follows up by a whip by Koslov, which sends Sandman to the opposite corner. Sandman then bounces off of the turnbuckles, and gets hit with a Overhead Belly To Belly Suplex. Koslov then goes outside of the ring, and grabs the already set up table, and positions it at one of the corners inside of the ring.

Ross: Looks like Koslov is looking to pick up the upset victory right here; right now.

Lawler: This would be like defeating The Sandman in his own back yard.

Koslov picks Sandman up on his shoulder, and is looking to drive him through the table in the corner, but Sandman is able to barely get out, and hit a Russian Legsweep (with an elbow to the side of the head mid-way.) Sandman then climbs to the top rope, and goes for a splash, but Koslov gets up, and hits a head butt to Sandman’s chest. Koslov then picks Sandman up, and hits another head butt to Sandman’s chest, which follows with a fallaway slam. Koslov then waits for Sandman to get back up, and he goes for another fallaway slam; this time through the table near the middle of the ring, but Sandman gets out of the hold, swings back with his right leg, and nails Koslov in the testicles with his boot as hard as he can. Koslov is down with pain, and Sandman picks him up, and hits a DDT. Sandman then drags Koslov over towards the table in the corner, picks up Koslov and kicks him in the gut, and hits a piledriver that sends Koslov through the table.

Ross: No way, no way!
Winner: Sandman (8:31)

Sandman gets up and calls for a beer, and he gets 3, and starts to drink all of them, while about to exit the ring. Instead of exiting the ring, he pours about half of a beer on Koslov to a huge pop from the crowd, before doing a title signal, and than finally exiting the ring while drinking the beers.

Maria is backstage with Show-Miz.

Maria: Hello everyone! How are you all tonight? I’m here with Show-Miz who will be competing for the unified tag team titles at Backlash, but tonight they will be in a huge 8 man tag team match tonight; guys any comment on the match.

Show: Well, Maria…..

Miz taps Big Show on the chest 3 times, before kindly backing him up, and stepping in front of him.

Miz: I got it Show. Well Maria, we have me, the awesome one, who has more talent in his right big toe than all 4 of those immigrants have in all 4 of their bodies combined. We have the largest athlete in the world, The Big Show, The Great Khali who is even taller than the largest athlete in the world, and the man beast Ryno, who is one of the toughest man I have ever met. That’s what we have Maria, hoo-rah, **crowd boos** hoo-rah, **crowd boos even more** sorry got a little carried away there.

Show: That’ the bottom line Maria; that’s all that we need.

Maria: Alright, thanks for the time guys,

Miz: It was honestly your pleasure Maria; I know anytime anyone as lovely as you Maria is around the awesome one, they always have some naughty thought.

Show: Thanks Miz, that’s such a nice thing to say about me.

Miz looks up at Show in confusion.

Miz: C’mon let’s go. We have got to go talk destruction strategy with the other two warriors we’ll be in the ring with.

Just as Miz and Show exit, Show does the “call me” signal, and Maria blushes, and says “okay,” until they’re clearly out of sight.

Maria: Why do Vince and Stone Cold always assign me to interview the weird; perverted guy.

Ross: Some mis-direction from Maria there.

**Commercial Break**

We come back, and Marcus Cor Von’s music hits.

**Smooth**

The alpha male comes out with a mic in his hands, as he is about to explain why he viciously, and unnecessarily attacked MVP.

Ross: Even though we had some technical difficulties last week, let’s show you what happened.

The titantron shows MVP’s promo about saying that he was the alpha male of the company, and then it cuts to Cor Von attacking MVP during the match. Cor Von enters the ring.

Cor Von:
Last week, I laid out Montel Vontavious Porter, after he maid a promo insulting me. **crowd boos** Yeah, that’s right, he called himself the alpha male, when he knows that I am. What did I do you ask, well I took matters into my own hands, and made a statement, now Montel, I know you’re watching this, so get your puny ass down here, so we can get down to business.

**I’m Comin**

MVP comes out to a pretty decent pop, as he has a mic in his hand, he doesn’t do his traditional entrance, but instead just comes on down to the ring.

MVP: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute. You made all of this because I called myself a silly little name.

Cor Von shakes his head yes.

MVP: Man you crazy! Just one little name, over one little name you started something, and I ain’t backing down from this.

Cor Von gets a little angry from MVP calling his nickname just a little name.

MVP: Man you are so crazy man! You know what, I want you in this ring, right now!

MVP walks up closer to Cor Von.

Cor Von: I………decline, I don’t want to face you, I just wanted to make things clear around here that I’m the alpha male.

Cor Von offers up a hand shake.

MVP: You offering me a handshake?

Cor Von: You know it.

MVP slaps his hand away.

MVP: Never will I shake your hand, after you costed me my match, if you won’t wrestle me tonight, than how about next week?

Cor Von:
Nope.

**I Won’t Do What You Tell Me**

The crowd pops really loudly as Stone Cold Steve Austin appears on the titantron.

Austin: Are you guys serious? I got to get ready for a WWE championship contract signing, and you two are annoying me about this now?

Cor Von and MVP look up at the titantron nearly shocked.

Austin: Well you know what, **what!!** MVP you’ll get your match, because at Backlash it’s going to be MVP vs. Marcus Cor Von, **what!!** now if you freaks would excuse me, I got to get ready for the contract signing. **crowd pops and says what as the titantron fades to black**

MVP starts to laugh and point at Cor Von as he leaves the ring; Cor Von stays in the ring in a state of anger that has really never been shown in all of his time here in the WWE.

Ross: Wow what a match this will be, and up next, the 8 man tag team match.

The crowd pops even more, as MVP goes around high fiving them; showing his knew view of the fans.

**Commercial Break**

We come back, and The Great Khali and Ryno are already in the ring for the 8 man tag team match.

**Crank It Up**

Big Show and Miz come out to some of the biggest heat of the night, as Miz walks out in front, trash talking the fans, as Big Show just casually walks behind him. They enter the ring, and greet their partners.

**We Lie, We Cheat, We Steal**

Chavo and Rey come out to huge pops from the crowd, as they don’t enter in a low rider, but they are still pumped up, and high five the crowd.

Lawler: Wow, these two have been fun ever since becoming a legitimate threat as a team.

**You Think You Know Me**

Edge and Christian come out to everyone’s surprise in a low rider! When they come out, they great Rey and Chavo with high fives and hugs, before entering the ring together, causing the other team (with the exception of The Great Khali) to leave the ring.

Ross: Edge and Christian are pretty fun loving guys too King, wouldn’t you say?

Lawler: Yeah, that was very sly of them to come out in that low rider.

Match 4

8 Man Tag Team Match

Show-Miz, The Great Khali, and Ryno vs. Edge and Christian, and Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero

The bell rings, and it’s Rey Mysterio and Ryno starting it off, as Rey bounces off of the ropes, but meets a shoulder block by Ryno, as Ryno now bounces off of the ropes, and hits another shoulder block on Mysterio. Ryno drags Mysterio over, and sits him down in the corner, as Ryno tags in Miz, and the two start to stomp continually on Mysterio. Miz then locks in a headlock, and keeps Mysterio in it for a good; long while. Mysterio is eventually able to pull off some very athletic move off of the ropes to escape the hold, and to tag in Christian, who comes running down, and hits Miz with a clothesline. Miz then tags in his partner Big Show, who comes out, and hits Christian with 3 straight head butts, which knock Christian down after each one. Big Show then locks in a cobra clutch, and then does his slam, and goes for the pin, but it’s broken up at 2 by Edge and Mysterio, who comes out to take out Ryno who came out.

Big Show then goes over, and tags in The Great Khali, who comes out, and starts stomping on Christian. Khali then picks Christian up, and hits him with a head butt; followed by a back elbow, which sends Christian into a corner. Khali then hits another back elbow, and then followed by some kicks which knock Christian down, who is now sitting in the corner. Khali whips Christian hard, who slingshots off of the other corner into a scoop slam. Khali then tags in Big Show, who comes out, and tries to hit a leg drop, but Christian avoids it, and tags in Rey Mysterio, **crowd pops** who comes in and kicks the kneeling Big Show, until he is laying face first on the ground. Rey then climbs to the top rope, and hits a leg drop on Big Show, only to be blind-sided by Ryno who hits a Gore on Rey Mysterio!

Ross: Hey! That’s illegal, Ryno should have been disqualified right there.

Lawler: I know JR, I really just can’t believe this.

Christian now comes in and spears Ryno, and both the teams clear off of the aprons, and knock each other down to the floor outside, while the two legal men, Rey and Big Show lay motionless in the ring. Rey gets up at a count of 5, and Big Show gets up at 8.

Ross: We are going to have to go to commercial; don’t touch that remote!

**Commercial Break**

We come back, and Edge and Ryno are in the ring, with Edge having a rear naked choke locked in on Ryno, only for Ryno to eventually counter it after a while, get up, and sling Edge off of the ropes, and hit a Spinebuster. A recap of Big Show tagging in Miz and Miz tagging in Ryno, and Rey Mysterio tagging in Edge during the commercial break. Both men are now looking for tags, and Ryno is able to get to The Great Khali first, but Khali is too slow to get to Edge before Edge can tag in Chavo Guerrero, who comes out throwing punches and kicks to Khali, which show no effect, and then Chavo bounces off of the ropes, but is met by a big boot by Khali. Khali then picks Chavo up, and head butts him 3 times, before stepping on him with his right foot for the cover, but Chavo is able to just barely get up at 2. Khali then whips Chavo very hard into his corner, and he tags in Big Show.

Big Show comes in, and Khali picks up Chavo, only for Big Show to punch Chavo with rights and left in the gut many repeated times. Big Show than hits an inverted leg drop bulldog to Chavo, before picking him up well over his head, and military press slamming him down to the outside of the ring. Rey and Edge sprint over there to help him, while Christian takes his time, but eventually helps him get back into the ring at a ref’s count of 7. Once Chavo gets into the ring, Big Show quickly covers him, 1, 2, Chavo gets a shoulder up! **crowd pops at the kick-up** Big Show looks stunned, and goes over and tags in The Miz. Miz comes in, and starts to pound on Chavo, before Miz goes for his finisher, the skull-crushing-finale, and Chavo ducks in with a judo throw. Chavo then gets to the corner, and is barely able to tag in Rey Mysterio.

Rey comes out looking fired up, as he starts out throwing kicks at Miz, before he bounces off of the ropes, and hits an inverted bulldog. Here comes Big Show, and Rey is somehow able to knock him down with an enzuigiri, and Christian is somehow able to roll him out of the ring. Now, here comes Ryno looking for the gore, but Mysterio dodges it, and kicks him in the gut, before dragging him to the corner, and hitting an inverted tornado DDT, and then being followed up by Christian hitting the killswitch on him. Edge then comes out of nowhere, and spears The Great Khali from the apron out to the outside, but Miz sneaks up behind Rey, and hits a clubbing punch, sending Rey to his knees. Miz then realizes that all of Rey’s teammates are fighting on the outside with all of his teammates, so Miz hits the skull-crushing-finale, and pins Rey for the 1, 2, 3!

Winners: The Miz, Big Show, The Great Khali, and Ryno (10:53)
Miz celebrates in the ring, with Big Show coming in and congratulating his partner, before they quickly leave the ring when Edge and Chavo come in, and Christian eventually comes in later; all 3 of them check on Rey, while Khali and Ryno are on the ground on the outside.

**Commercial Break**

We come back, and there are 3 chairs, a table, and a contract all on a red carpet in the ring, as we go over to the announce table, with JR and The King.

Lawler: Well, we’re know ready for the contract signing between Goldberg and CM Punk for our match at Backlash.

Ross: Yes we are, and I tell you, there is some major bad blood between these two from the past couple of weeks.

Lawler: There sure is, and we’ll probably see that bad blood carry on to here tonight.

**I Won’t Do What You Tell Me**

Stone Cold Steve Austin comes out looking normal, and quickly slides into the ring, receives a mic, and gets in his chair.

Austin: Now, tonight we are going to have a contract signing between the two men competing for the WWE championship at Backlash, and those two men are Goldberg and CM Punk.

Austin stands up.

Austin: Now, Vince McMahon was originally supposed to do this, but he stated that he had…..well “plans,” and we all are aware that Vince’s “plans” always refer to him sitting on his desk and choking his cobra, well in his case, choking his rat **crowd pops** to sweaty; oil guys touching each other in tights. Vince, I know you’re watching, and here’s one of these for your session.

Austin flips the bird with his left hand to a huge pop from the crowd, as they love the wild antics put on by Raw’s general manager.

Austin: Now, back to business. Also, where are the what’s tonight; this is pathetic Memphis, come on! **WHAT!!**

Austin smiles to the loudest crowd noise of the night.

Austin:
Haha that’s what I thought, haha. **WHAT!!** Alright, now Goldberg and CM Punk, get your asses out here right now.

**This Fire Burns**

CM Punk comes out with a suit on, and walks to the ring with a mic, and as he enters the ring, him and Austin don’t shake hands, as CM Punk just walks right next to his chair.

**Invasion**

Goldberg comes out to a huge pop, as he is in a shirt, and wrestling tights and a mic, and as he comes down, him and Austin have a short; little handshake.

Austin: Alright, **what** now that we’re all here, **what** let’s sign the contract. **what**

Goldberg quickly picks up a pen, sits down, and signs the contract.

Austin: C’mon Punk, I still got a main event match up next. **what**

Ross: He’s right, and it’s a huge one, between Alberto Del Rio and Randy taking on John Cena and The Undertaker.

Punk hesitates, but eventually grabs the pen, and puts pen to paper, and signs the contract.

Austin: Alright, I know that you two stubborn bitches aren’t going to sign the contract, so I’m getting out of here, see you two next week, or maybe even not until Backlash I hope.

Austin walks out, and is about to leave the ring, until Punk runs in front of him, and cuts him off.

Punk: Just wait a minute here Austin, I’m sure that you might want to see this.

Austin for some reason listens, and goes back to the spot that he was originally at.

Austin: Alright let’s go, as I said we have a main event tag team match up next, and we don’t have too much time.

Punk: I just wanted to say that people should get used to me standing next to you Austin, because after I hang up the boots, people are going to look at you as the greatest wrestler of all time, next to me. **crowd boos** Now, as for you Goldberg, you should be proud of yourself. You should be proud of yourself, because you are going to be the person that I beat to win my first WWE Title, and the first of many to come. You see Goldberg, you are going to make history, by starting a long line of people who lose WWE Title matches to me, and when people look back at my career, they’re going to say, wow it all started with guys like Jeff Hardy **mixed reaction** and The Undertaker **loud cheers** of guys that I’ve beaten to win and retain titles. While people look back at your career and think one lousy streak in a company that was never the top dog like WWE was, and maybe one mediocre one month title reign. For you Austin, well you probably won’t be around to hear people talk about your career. You probably won’t be around to hear people talk about how amazing you were because all of that alcohol you have there big boy. You see, I don’t drink, so I don’t have to worry about any diseases of my liver, or any other part of my body that alcohol messes up. You here that guys, well good, I’m glad you did.

Suddenly, Austin pushes Punk right into Goldberg, and Goldberg jackhammers CM Punk through the table were the contract was, as Austin picks up the contract with CM Punk lying there in pain, as the two leave the ring.

Ross: I think Punk got what he deserved!

Lawler: Of course he did, and I would love to see Goldberg break him in half with a spear and then a jackhammer at Backlash.

Ross: Same here King, well we have to go to a commercial break, but coming up next, we will have our main event of the night, with Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio taking on John Cena and The Undertaker.

**Commercial Break**

We come back ready for out main event, as Randy Orton’s music hits.

**Voices**

Orton comes out looking very focused, as he walks down to the ring. He stands near the apron, as he waits for Alberto Del Rio.

**Realeza**

Del Rio comes out in the same car as he drove before, as he eventually meets Orton on the outside of the ring near the apron, as they start to talk with Ricardo Rodriguez listening in on the entrance way.

**The Time Is Now**

John Cena comes out to a huge crowd pop, and seeming both pumped up, yet angry as he salutes the crowd, and approaches the ring. He stops short of the ring, and points to the backstage area directly after Undertaker’s music hits.

**Ain’t No Grave Gonna Hold My Body Down**

The Undertaker comes out and does his normal entrance as Cena climbs in the ring right before him, and claps for him, as they are just about ready to get this main event match started.

Match 5

Tag Team Match

John Cena and The Undertaker vs. Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio

The bell rings, and John Cena and Alberto Del Rio start it off, with Del Rio already starting to work on Cena’s arm with a arm drag; followed by an attempted key lock attempt broken up by Cena, Del Rio pulls on Cena’s arm twice before letting go, and bouncing off of the ropes and hitting a knee to the face. Del Rio then takes Cena and brings him over to Orton, and they tag each other and each kick and stomp Cena until he’s on the ground with The Undertaker pacing on the other side of the apron. Orton locks in a bodyscissors, which causes Cena to even scream in pain, before he can reach the ropes after a pretty long while. Cena gets up and tries to run towards The Undertaker, to no affect as Orton catches him and hits his signature backbreaker on Cena, but only gets a 1 count.

Ross: Ladies and Gentlemen, we are pleased to say that we are being brought this main event match with no commercial interruption, so you will see this whole match in its full length.

We go back to the action, as Orton has a wrenching chinlock locked in, but he releases the hold, and walks Cena over to his (Orton and Del Rio’s) corner, and Randy tags in ADR. Del Rio comes in, and they fake whip Cena towards his (Cena’s and Undertaker’s) corner, but they Irish whip him back chest first into their corner, as ADR locks in a bodyscissors, which hurts Cena a lot. Cena is eventually able to break free of it, and hit a suplex, followed by 3 straight running shoulder blocks, and then a clothesline. Cena then hits a 5 knuckle shuffle on Del Rio, and he sets up for an attitude adjustment. Cena lifts Del Rio up, but can’t fully execute the move, and Del Rio gets out of it, and Cena falls right into Undertaker, who makes a tag.

Ross: Very smart move by Cena there by just trusting his partner.

Del Rio is also able to make a tag to Orton, as now Orton and Undertaker swing it out. Undertaker takes the advantage, and whips Orton into a corner. Undertaker slowly walks over there, and whips Orton again to the opposite corner, and hits a big splash. Undertaker follows up on that by hitting snake eyes, followed by a big boot, and sets Randy Orton up for a chokeslam. Del Rio comes out to interfere, and Undertaker grabs his throat along with Orton’s, and hits a double chokeslam! The move causes both men to go to the outside of the ring, as Cena immediately pounces on Orton on the outside. Undertaker sees that Cena went for the other legal man Orton, so he just goes after Del Rio, who does put up a fight, but Undertaker reverses an attempted Del Rio whip into the steel pole, by Undertaker whipping ADR right into the pole, nose first. Cena throws Orton back into the ring, but Undertaker ignores it, as the ref has been ordered by Stone Stone Steve Austin not to count people out. Undertaker sets Del Rio up, and hits his guillotine leg drop from the apron.

After Undertaker is through with Del Rio, he goes back to the other legal man Orton inside of the ring, but Orton is able to get the upper hand, but hitting 3 European Uppercuts on Undertaker, followed by a reverse whip eventually leading into a Lou Thesz press, followed by some blows to The Undertaker’s face. Orton then gets up, and waits for Undertaker to get up, so he can go for an Olympic Slam, but Undertaker counters, and hits a head butt, which is followed by a standing elbow drop, which leads into a diving clothesline from bouncing off of the ropes.

Undertaker then tags in Cena, and it is now Orton vs. Cena, one on one in the ring.

Lawler: I really don’t think that Cena wants to wait until Backlash JR, and neither do we. With Del Rio layed out on the outside, it is now Randy Orton vs. John Cena, and Orton can’t tag anyone in for now.

Orton escapes the ring, and runs around the ring twice, before meeting The Undertaker, who tries to throw Orton back into the ring, but Orton kicks his bad knee not once, but twice. Orton then slides into the ring, and catches Cena who went on the apron. Orton kicks Cena in the gut, and hits his DDT over the second rope, and instead of setting up for an RKO, which is what he usually would do, he sets up for a punt. Just as Cena got into position, and Randy Orton went to strike, Cena countered it into and STF. Orton is fighting not to tap out, as he gets so much closer toward the ropes, (ADR makes it back on the apron, and back to his corner) and after a really long time, Orton made it to the ropes. When they both got up, Orton went for another punt, put this time they were both standing, so Cena countered it, and went for the attitude adjustment, but Orton got out, and tagged in Alberto Del Rio.

Del Rio comes charging out, but is immediately hit by a bell-to-belly suplex by Cena. Cena now points towards Orton, and is visibly really mad, as he lifts Del Rio up, and hits a very odd move for Cena, a military press slam! Cena then motions to The Undertaker saying that he has it, and he’ll finish it, and when he turns around, he sees Randy Orton go for the RKO, but Cena avoids it, and as Randy comes charging back, Cena throws him out of the ring. Cena focus is back on Del Rio, as he hits a DDT, and he now sets up for the attitude adjustment. Cena lifts Del Rio up, and hits his finishing move, the attitude adjustment for the 1, 2, and 3!
Winner: John Cena and The Undertaker (13:16)

Cena celebrates in the ring and points at Orton, as The Undertaker taps on his shoulder, and gives him the thumbs up, and touches Cena’s shoulder twice more, before he doe his usual post match taunt, and the gong hits.

Ross: Well that’s all the time we have for now, but tune in next week for out go home show to Backlash.

Lawler: Alongside “Good Ol’ JR”, Jim Ross, I’m Jerry “The King” Lawler, and goodnight everyone.

Cena now does his usual taunt, as the music switches back to his, as Raw goes off of the air.

Week 3

Mitchell Center, Mobile, Alabama

An intro comes on, and we cut to Michael Cole and Mick Foley ringside.

Cole: Good evening, my name is Michael Cole, and along with the toothless wonder Mick Foley, hahahaha, and this is hahaha Smackdown.

Foley: You really love trying to be funny, don’t you Cole?

Cole: Hey, what can I say, I crack myself up.

Foley: Well, tonight, we will hear from John Morrison, Chris Jericho will confront HHH, and in our main event of the night, Chavo Guerrero and Rey Mysterio will take on Mark Henry and Sheamus, along with Kane taking on Big Daddy V.

Cole: We will also have the fabulous Joe Hennig taking on the untalented scum of a person in Zack Ryder.

Foley: What’s wrong with Ryder, I think that he’s hilarious.

Cole: I just hate that Team Swagger, they just get on my nerves with their cockiness.

**Ain’t No Make Believe**

John Morrison comes out with his newly won World Heavyweight Championship on his left shoulder, as he does his normal entrance. Morrison grabs a mic, as he enters the ring; smiling, as he lifts up the title for the fans to see, and take pictures of.

Morrison: I finally did it! **crowd pops very loudly, and there are still lots of flashes from the crowd** I finally won the big one; I finally grabbed the brass ring, and I finally won the World Heavyweight Championship. **crowd pops more, and with less camera flashes, but still a good amount of pictures are still being taken** I beat Kane cleanly in a steel cage match, and I claimed my first world title. I promise, that I will be a fighting champion, and bring glory back to Smackdown, and I promise that you will hear the words ‘the winner and STILL World Heavyweight Champion, John Morrison a lot!

Morrison continues to look around at the crowd, as they continue to pop loudly for him, and take pictures. Morrison holds the belt up, and poses for fans, before he lifts the microphone back up again.

Morrison: I know that the name ‘the people champ or champion’ is already taken, but I think that I would fill a good role as ‘the brand’s man,’ or ‘the Friday night feature’. Anyways, getting back to reality, I……….

**Mr. Vain**

“The Perfect Storm” Lance Storm comes out with a dress shirt on above short wrestling tights; he has a mic with him, as it looks like he’s going to walk to the ring, but instead he just stops really short at the entrance way.

Storm: If I could be serious for a minute, getting back to reality? If I could be serious for a minute, you see John, last week I came out here, and issued an open challenge to whoever won the steel cage match John. That winner happened to be you, and you come out, and don’t even acknowledge it, c’mon John, fight me for that title ‘brand’s man’.

Morrison: If I could be serious for a minute, who in the hell are you?

Storm: I’m Lance Storm; perhaps you’re not caught up with WWE history beyond 2004; just like about half of these fans. Only about half of these fans probably don’t know anything past 2007, 2008, or even 2009. **crowd boos for the most part, but with some cheers** Can’t all of you see, the real fans think that you’re all annoying, and that this company would be so much better if you weren’t here. John, you’re a popular wrestler in arguably the worst age/era in wrestling’s history. I was a decent wrestler during its best, and if you were around back in the attitude era, than you would be just another JOBBER.

The crowd has a huge mixed reaction, with mostly high voices booing, and mostly deep voices cheering.

Morrison: Lance, scoreboard check. World titles, John Morrison: 1; Lance Storm: 0. That’s all that matters Lance. Lance, as long as I’m the world champion here, you will never be.

Storm: You want to put that to the test Morrison?

Morrison: Yes, of course, I’m a fighting champ; that’s nothing that you’ll be able to say.

Storm: Tonight, you vs. me for that World Heavyweight Championship of yours, thank you.

Crowd pops at the announcement, with most of the fans excited that Morrison has the chance to finally shut Storm up.

Morrison: All day; let’s go.

Storm shows off a very cocky smile, as he walks back to the backstage area, and Morrison goes across all 4 corners, and poses for the fans with his belt, as his music is playing.

**Commercial Break**

We come back, and Vicki Guerrero is seen backstage about to interview Chris Jericho.

Vicky: Excuse me! Excuse me, but ladies and gentlemen, I am here with the best in the world at what he does, Chris Jericho, who will be calling out HHH later tonight.

Jericho: That’s right Vickie, and by the way, thanks for the accurate introduction, and I must say that you do look beautiful in that nice black and white dress that you have on tonight. Anyway, yes I will be calling out HHH tonight, and this time, I will come out on top, this time, HHH won’t be beating me at anything, because I am the best in the world at what I do.

Vicky: Chris, as much as I believe in everything that you say, what do you mean by you’ll come out on top THIS TIME, and HHH won’t be beating you at anything?

Jericho: You’ll see Vicki, don’t worry sweet, sweet Vicki, you’ll see. Prepare to be amazed everyone, because I am coming for you HHH.

Vicky: Alright, you do that; I’ll see you around Chris.

Vicki doesn’t see, or notice it, but just as Chris Jericho walked off, HHH walks up behind her.

HHH: Don’t get too flattered, I walk in on him with his hands in his pants, and quite an interesting look on his face, while watching the move Babe.

HHH then pokes Vicki on her left shoulder, and she turns around and screams.

HHH: Well, you do look similar to that pig.

Vicki screams again as HHH starts to crack up, but then turns serious, and grabs Vicki’s right wrist, and puts the mic up to his face.

HHH: Chris Jericho, I personally can’t wait to hear what you are about to say, because than I can either make fun of you for it, or kick your ass for it, your choice.

HHH lets the microphone go, as Vicki drops it to the floor, as HHH walks away, as we go back to Michael Cole and Mick Foley.

Cole: well, it’s time for our first match of the night, as we are going to have our first match of the night, as the kid who’s limit is the sky, taking on the guy who doesn’t even deserve to walk the same ground as most of the other guys in this company.

Foley: C’mon Cole, don’t make fun of Joe Hennig like that.

Cole: I was talking about Zack Ryder, Foley.

Foley: I know, Ryder’s limit is the sky.

Cole: Zack Ryder should not be in the WWE; he is the most talent-less bitch of a wrestler that I have seen since I started in this business.

Foley: Well, would you like to step inside of the ring with him Cole?

Cole: No, I couldn’t stand having to touch the guy.

Foley: Alright, now let’s get to our opening match of the night.

Cole: You know it Foley, that man is not a wrestler, he’s a poser and a punk!

Match 1

Singles Match

Joe Hennig vs. Zack Ryder

**Radio**

Zack Ryder comes out with Team Swagger, and all three of them look very pumped up. Ryder enters the ring, and does the Long Island sign three times, as he waits for his opponent.

Cole: Remember, last week, Joe Hennig did pin HHH for the win for his team against HHH, Ezekiel Jackson, and Shawn Michaels.

Foley: That he did, and I do give him credit for that; he does have a lot of potential, but I just don’t see why you can’t stand him, to a point where you say that he doesn’t deserve to even walk the same ground as some of these other guys.

**Longhorn**

JBL’s limo comes out, and his driver gets out of the limo, goes to the back where Hennig and JBL are, opens the door, and out comes Hennig in a t-shirt, and short wrestling tights, and JBL is in a full blue suits with stripes on it, along with a red and black tie. Hennig makes his way down to the ring, takes his shirt off and gives it to JBL, (who hands it to his limo driver) and Joe Hennig enters the ring ready to take on the Long Island Iced-Z.

The bell rings, and we’re ready to start, as the two lock up, with Ryder getting an early advantage with a side-headlock takedown; followed by an attempt at an arm-triangle-choke, but Hennig was able to get out of it. Ryder then hits a dropkick once the two got to their feet, and he goes for the cover, 1, 2, no! Hennig kicked up quite easily, as it seemed like he was just trying to buy some time. Ryder than picks the son of Mr. Perfect up into a DDT position, and hits a swinging neckbreaker. Ryder then slings off of the ropes, and hits a standing leg drop right on the neck of his opponent. Ryder then bounces off of the opposite rope from the last one, and this time, he hits a standing elbow drop. Ryder again goes for the pin, but only gets 2.

Ryder looks mad, as Team Swagger keeps on cheering him on from outside of the ring, as JBL is yelling at Joe Hennig to get up, and what to do next when he does get up. Hennig gets up, and Ryder brings him over to one of the corners, as Zack climbs up to the second turnbuckle. Zack goes for a tornado DDT, but Hennig shoved him off, and starts to pound on Ryder with right, with JBL yelling on cheers and orders, as Hennig continues to throw rights and lefts. Ryder then hits Hennig with a right, pokes his eyes, and hits him with another right, before Hennig backs up, and Ryder climbs to the top rope, and hits a flying missile dropkick. Both men are now down, as Ryder got up at a ref’s count of 3, and Hennig got up at 5.

Cole: Well, sadly Zack Ryder does have the upper here now, but this match will continue…..

Foley: After this commercial break, stay here.

Cole: Thanks for cutting me of Foley.

Foley: Don’t worry about it, I’ll do it any time Cole.

Foley pats Cole on the back twice, and then lightly hits his announcing partner’s back.

**Commercial Break**

We come back, and the control of the match has switched from Ryder to Hennig over the break. The titantron shows Hennig taking apart Ryder’s mid-section with knees and a Samoan Drop. Hennig knocks Ryder down with three consecutive back elbows, and he then follows that up with a falling punch after bouncing off of the ropes to JBL’s please, as he claps on Hennig. Hennig then climbs to one of the top turnbuckles, and taunts to the crowd, signaling for something, as he goes for a frog splash, but Ryder moved out of the way. Ryder gets up, and goes to work on Hennig, as he punches him, which forces Hennig to curl up in a corner, as Ryder whips him to the opposite turnbuckle, which follows up with a running clothesline.

Ryder then whips Hennig back to where they were just before, but Hennig hangs onto the ropes, and jumps over Ryder, and when Hennig lands, he rolls up Ryder into a small package wit JBL nearly going crazy at how Hennig pulled that out, as Team Swagger is quiet after JBL taunted them, and told them to shut up and don’t talk, but as we get into the match, Hennig has Ryder in a small package, 1, 2, no! Ryder was able to escape the small package, but just barely. Hennig now looks mad, as he follows that up with a belly to belly suplex.

Cole: Hennig is looking like he’s about to finally get the win on Ryder soon.

Foley: He is looking mighty strong in this match.

Cole: Mighty strong? Who are you, an 1800’s southerner, I mean come on Foley, there is no way that anybody could piss me off as much as you do.

Foley: I can get The Miz.

Cole: Don’t mock this awesome one, as him and his giant partner Big Show are going to win the tag team titles at Backlash in just over a week.

Foley: Yes, just about a week Cole, I can’t wait, but now, let’s get back to calling this match.

Hennig goes over to pick up Ryder, as he sets up for a running one-armed swinging neckbreaker, but Ryder counters it right when he was about to bounce off of the ropes, and Ryder hits a German suplex on Hennig, and then he keeps his grip locked in, and hits another one. Ryder then sets Henning up, and whips Hennig off of the ropes, and hits a big boot. Ryder looks to be getting ready for a Rough Ryder, but just as he was going for it, Henning ducked under, and Ryder did land on his feet though, and just as Henning started charging at him, Ryder hits a back body drop, and then taunts Hennig, **crowd pops** and hits a Rough Ryder. What Ryder didn’t see when he hit the move is that JBL hit a Clothesline From Hell to R-Truth. After Ryder hit the Rough Ryder, he goes over to see what exactly happened to Truth, as JBL hits another Clothesline From Hell, but this time to Booker T. Ryder sees this, and get out of the ring to confront, and talk to JBL.

**1**

Ryder starts to talk to JBL, and points his right index finger at him.

**2**

JBL lifts his hands above his head, and he points for Ryder to go back into the ring, as Ryder gives him another warning type message, until he climbs back into the ring.

Just as Ryder climbs back into the ring, Henning hits a Hennig-Plex, and gets the cover off of the move on Ryder, and gets the 1, 2, 3.
Winner: Joe Hennig (9:51)

JBL quickly climbs into the ring to celebrate with Hennig, as JBL lifts his (Hennig’s) right arm over his head in victory. JBL towards turn Hennig, and smiles, as Hennig goes for a hug, and JBL returns the favor. **crowd boos loudly** Zack Ryder is able to roll out of the ring, and check his fallen teammates, and picks both of them up, and attempts to carry them, until eventually they are able to walk themselves at almost half way up the entrance ramp. Hennig goes over to taunt to the crowd. **crowd gives Hennig even more heat as before**

Cole: What a win for Hennig; that’s two weeks in a row where he claimed a pinfall victory.

Foley: That it is Cole; you’re right, I can’t dis-agree with you when you say that he has great potential.

We cut backstage to Maria with Wade Barrett.

Maria: Good evening everyone, I’m here with one of the four challengers for the Hardcore Championship at Backlash, Wade Barrett!

Barrett: Maria, I have a lot to say, and you’ll here it when I go out to the ring right now.

Maria: How do you feel being the only non-ECW original in this match?

Barrett: Did you not hear me when I said that I’m going to speak inside of the ring, c’mon listen you silly American girl! The nerve of some of these American women.

Wade walks off, as the camera zooms in on the beautiful Maria, who just shrugs her shoulders with a very confused look on her face.

**Commercial Break**

We come back from the break, and Wade Barrett is standing in the ring and he grabs a mic.

Barrett: Now, in just over one week, I will step into the ring at The Staples Center, in Los Angeles against 3 sick; twisted madmen, to be able to see who will be worthy enough to hold the Hardcore Title. Once I defy the odds, just like I did on NXT season 1, and win the title, I am going to bring honor to the title, which is something that it honestly has never had.

Crowd boos at the wise-ass remark about the title.

Cole: I can’t agree with him any more Foley.

Barrett: Now, one of the men that I will be facing is Sabu. **crowd pops** Sabu is a madman, who would jump off a cliff naked for fun. This man is a freak, and I can’t imagine how the other two opponents of mine put up with that man.

Crowd boos, and starts to chant Saaaabuuuu, Saaaaabuuuu.

Barrett: You can chant all you want, but you all know that he’s not going to beat me. He’s not, and neither are the other two men, which leads me to Tommy Dreamer. **Crowd Pops** I just don’t see anything in this guy. I mean, how long was his first ECW championship reign, like an hour? It took him so long to hold the title for only an hour, so I just don’t get that guy.

Cole: Wade Barrett is a smart man, he’s my pick to win at Backlash.

Barrett: Now, onto The Sandman, **the crowd pops, as Barrett sighs and groans when he’s says Sandman’s name** the crazy, beer drinking freak of the original ECW. Sandman, you come down with your beer and kendo stick in hand, but what you don’t realize is that you have no pure talent at all. Any match were you can’t swing that kendo stick of yours is one were you’ll lose. Sandman you need weapons, because you have no talent at all. The thing is with me though, I have talent, and if you put me in the ring with weapons all around me, I’ll use the weapons to my advantage. You see, I grew up in Manchester, England, were we settled all of our arguments with no-holds-barred fights. I’m no stranger to weapons, and come Backlash, I will leave Los Angeles the Hardcore Champion.

Barrett slowly drops the mic on the ground, and walks out to loud jeers from the crowd, as we cut back to Cole and Foley.

Cole: Well up next, we will have Kane take on Big Daddy V. Now, just to remind you, last week it was Big Daddy V’s friend Mark Henry taking on Kane’s brother The Undertaker, where Mark Henry purposely got himself counted purposely counted out, which led to Undertaker being distracted, and then Big Daddy V sneaking up behind him, and attacked The Undertaker.

The titantron shows what happened last week.

Foley: SOMEHOW sneaked up on him.

Cole: C’mon Foley, that’s not nice; Big Daddy V is a person too.

Foley: When has he ever cared about anyone?

Cole: Mark Henry and Matt Striker; now let’s get to the match.

**Man On Fire**

Kane comes out looking very mad, as he makes his way to the ring, and he does his normal pyro when he gets into the ring.

**Rap Sheet**

Big Daddy V comes out with Matt Striker and Mark Henry; Henry has a mic in his hand, as the 3 stop short on the entrance ramp.

Henry: Kane, I know that you have a match tonight, but Saturday Night’s Main Event isn’t too far away, and I’m going to issue a challenge for that event, a car carrying contest. Just incase if you don’t know what that is, it’s an even in the World’s Strongest Man Competition, where the competitors have to pick up a car, and carry it a certain distance.

The camera turns to Kane in the ring, and Kane is nodding his head, and smiling, and pointing to the 3 as Big Daddy V steps into the ring.

Match 2

Singles Match

Big Daddy V vs. Kane

The bell rings, and we start to match with Big Daddy V hitting Kane with his massive forearms. Kane falls to one knee, as Daddy starts to knee him in the skull, as Kane falls to his back, as Daddy goes for the cover, 1, Kane kicks up. Daddy attempts to pick Kane up, but Kane powers out of it, by hitting Daddy with some rights; followed by a huge uppercut, which sends Big Daddy V leaning on the ropes. Kane then attempts to whip Daddy, but Daddy reverses, and on the way back from off of the ropes, Daddy hits a belly to belly suplex. Daddy goes for the cover, 1, 2, no! Kane got up, and Daddy looks mad, as Henry slammed his hands against the apron.

Cole: Big Daddy V came so close, and Mark Henry is still mad.

Foley: That he is Cole, and ladies and gentlemen, just in case if you’ve never seen Big Daddy V live, it is scary how wide Big Daddy V and even Mark Henry are. Not teasing them or anything, but it really is a sight to see.

We return to the action, as Daddy bounces off of the ropes, and goes for a standing leg drop, but Kane sits up, and Daddy holds his leg in pain. Kane then hits Daddy with an uppercut, which brings him up to his knees; Kane then bounces off of the ropes, and hits a big boot to Big Daddy V’s face! Kane gets back up, and hits a standing elbow drop, before climbing to the top rope.

Kane waits a little while, and when Daddy gets up, Kan hits a flying clothesline on him, but stays on his feet! Kane goes off with some lefts and rights, which make Daddy stumble. Kane lifts his arm/ hand up in the air, and sets up for a chokeslam. Kane wraps his hand around Daddy’s neck, but Daddy grabs it, and lifts him up; going for the Ghetto Drop. Kane is able to get a hold of the ropes, and Daddy lets go. When Kane gets a hold of himself, Kane boots Daddy in the gut twice, bounces off of the ropes, and hits a DDT. Kane follows that up with a standing leg drop for the pin, 1, 2, but Daddy is able to get his left shoulder up!

Foley: The momentum is shifting now, as it looks like Kane is on top.

Cole: Don’t count out Daddy yet.

Foley: I’m not, but Kane is no stepping stone for anyone! Believe me, I know that first hand.

Kane picks Daddy up, and kicks him in the gut; Daddy is so fatigued that he bends over, and Kane grabs his throat, and Kane barely lifted him up, but Daddy hit a right hand; followed by a head butt, which causes Kane to drop him, and let go of the hold. Kane turns his back to Daddy, but quickly turns around, and hits a HUGE big boot! Kane then mounts Daddy, and starts hitting clubbing shots on him, lefts and rights fly to Daddy’s face, until the ref is forcing Kane to get off of Daddy. Kane ignores him, and keeps on hitting, until Daddy is really badly busted open, but Kane keeps hitting him. The ref calls for the bell, and the DQ, but Kane really doesn’t car, as he keeps throwing shots at Big Daddy V.
Winner: Big Daddy V by DQ (7:11)

Kane keeps on hitting Daddy, until Mark Henry gets into the ring, and grabs Kane by each of his sides, and tosses him almost halfway across the ring. Henry then follows that with a big boot, and then a stomp; each with a right foot. Henry then lifts Kane up off of the ground, and hits a world’s strongest slam. The lights then go out, and when they go back on, Matt Striker is gone from ringside.

Cole: Were did Striker go?

Foley: I wonder.

Cole: It’s obvious, it was The Undertaker, the lights went out, and…….

The lights go out again, and we hear Cole getting choked, and after a while after, the lights go back on, and Cole is lying on the ground with 4 layers of duct tape over his mouth; with one just barely hanging on.

Foley:
Alright, we have got to check on Cole, so we’ll go to commercial, don’t touch that remote, we’ll be back.

**Commercial Break**

We come back, and Chris Jericho’s music hits.

**Break The Walls Down**

Chris Jericho comes out to major heat, and with a mic in his hand; he walks down the entrance ramp pretty fast, and enters the ring just as quick.

Jericho: Now, I’m not going to waste any time here. HHH gets out here!

**The Game**

HHH comes out to a huge pop, and he also has a mic in his hand, as he makes his way down to the ring slowly, as he has a water bottle in his left hand. He does his normal entrance with the water, throws the bottle in the crowd, and enters the ring.

Jericho: Now HHH, as you enter the ring, I would like to let you know that you are stepping into the ring with a different man than you have so many times before in the past. You are stepping into the ring with the absolute best wrestler in the world today. Whether all of these hypocrites like it or not, that’s what I am.

HHH: Congratulations Chris, and to show my gratitude towards your “achievement,” I brought you something.

HHH reaches into the pocket of his jeans, and pulls out a poster.

displayimage.php

HHH: Now, just in case if you don’t know what that means, I will show you.

Jericho: No, no, Hunter!

The camera turns to the titantron, and it shows a clip from earlier tonight, where it shows Jericho in his locker room, on his couch; watching the movie Babe. Now the camera shows Jericho has both hands in his pants, and a sly look on his face. Jericho is also sweating, as his eyes are glued on the TV screen.

HHH: Look guys, no hands! Wait, never mind.

Jericho looks supremely angry, as the camera goes back to the titantron, and Jericho lets out a huge groan, and the camera man on the titantron turns around, and it’s HHH with a huge smile on his face, and with his left thumb up. The camera goes back to the ring, where HHH is cracking up, and Chris Jericho’s face is BRIGHT red.

HHH: Having fun there Chris?

Jericho: Hunter! You’ve embarrassed me for the last time, and for the record, I was NOT doing what you think I was doing, I was fixing an itch, and the groan was for that scratching the itch made it better, and I was relieved because the itch went away.

HHH: Yep, and Joey Mercury is going to win the WWE Title next week on Raw.

Jericho: I’m serious; I have a wife, who’s actually decent looking unlike someone else’s wife here.

HHH: Jericho, don’t talk about Michael Cole’s wife like that!

Cole: Hey!

Jericho walks up to HHH, and they stare each other down.

Cole: Beat him down Jericho; show him what he deserves!

Jericho: You know what, I’m done with you; I’ll see you next week on Smackdown on the highlight reel.

HHH: I’ll be there……..Babe.

Jericho starts to walk off, but HHH puts his right hand on Jericho’s right shoulder, and turns Jericho around.

HHH: Take this for the road, Chris.

HHH kicks Jericho in the stomach, and hits a pedigree! **crowd pops loud** HHH then walks over towards the ropes nearest to the announce table, and does the suck it sign to Michael Cole. HHH then walks toward Jericho, and does another suck it sign, but this time over Jericho, and then HHH steps over Jericho, bends down, and talks some smack in his (Jericho’s) ear. HHH then walks out of the ring to a huge pop, which follows with some high fives to the fans.

Cole: We are going to have to go to a commercial break, but coming up next we will have a match for the world title between John Morrison and Lance Storm.

The camera cuts to a split screen, as Morrison is on the left, putting tape on his right knee, and then eventually putting a knee pad on it, while on the right, Storm is walking to the ring; looking very focused.

Foley: That match is up next!

**Commercial Break**

We come back, and Lance Storm’s music hits.

**Mr. Vain**

Storm comes out to a really loud; mixed reaction, as he walks down to the ring with a straight face on.

**Ain’t No Make Believe**

Morrison comes out to a HUGE pop, as he takes his time walking out to the ring; basically making Storm wait.

Match 3

World Heavyweight Championship

John Morrison vs. Lance Storm

The bell rings, and just as Morrison kissed the title, and gave it to the referee, Storm comes sprinting from across the ring, and hits a dropkick right to Morrison’s face, as Morrison goes down.

Cole: I’ll take this Foley. Down goes Morrison, down goes Morrison! Cover him Lance.

Storm starts to taunt the crowd, as the camera switches back to the announcers.

Foley: Calm down Cole, we’re not even two minutes into a title match; Storm is a lot smarter than that.

Storm goes for the cover, 1, 2, no! Morrison got a shoulder up, as he up kicks Storm right in the face, gets up, and starts to go to work on Storm.

Foley: Well, I stand corrected on my comment about Storm’s intelligence.

Morrison hits a huge right kick to Storm’s chest/side area; followed by a codebreaker, and he now goes for the cover, 1, 2, no! It’s now Storm that got a shoulder up. (his left one) as Storm gets up, and the two begin to brawl, until Storm hits two (right) knees right to Morrison’s abdominals. Storm then whips Morrison into the corner, and follows that up with a running dropkick, which sends the champ down to his butt; leaning against the turnbuckles. Storm then retreats to the opposite turnbuckle, and hits a running (right) knee right to Morrison’s temple. Storm then drags Morrison over towards the center of the ring, as Storm decides not to go for the cover, as he climbs the ropes. **crowd boos, as Storm starts to chant IWC, IWC, and I can wrestle, I can wrestle** Storm reaches the top, and jumps off, and hits a flying clothesline! Storm goes for the cover, 1, 2, no! Morrison got his left shoulder up, just as the ref was bringing his hand down for the three count.

Storm then walks over to Morrison, and goes for the Straight Shooter, but Morrison was able to roll through, and escape the hold and gets back up to his feet; just before Storm does. Morrison then charges at his opponent, but Storm tackles him by the legs, and goes for, and locks in the Sharpshooter! Morrison is moaning in pain, as Cole took his headset off, and his jumping up and down; hoping for Morrison to tap, as the whole crowd is on the edge of their seats. After a while, Morrison finally gets to the ropes, to a huge pop from the crowd, and as the ref was counting for Storm to let go, and hit three, Storm brings him back to the middle of the ring. Cole is nearly having a heart attack right next to the announce table, and Foley takes out Socko, and puts him on Cole’s chair, as Morrison eventually does escape the hold. Morrison finally gets up to a ref’s count of 4, as Storm was already up, and Morrison hits a running flying knee; followed by a Russian Legsweep, as Morrison looks to go for the cover, but Storm is able to escape Morrison’s loose grip, and roll out of the ring.

Foley: We have to go to commercial now, but when we come back, we will find out who will walk out of Smackdown as the World Heavyweight Champion. Don’t change the channel, as more WWE action is up next!

**Commercial Break**

We come back to see that Storm and Morrison are brawling outside of the ring, as the ref has a count of 8 in place, and the two are punching each other. The ref counts to 9, as Storm realizes that he can’t win the title by any type of count-out, so he throws Morrison into the ring, and quickly getting in himself, but just barely beating the count. Storm then eats a stomp from Morrison, which quickly follows with the Moonlight Drive!

Foley: Wow, talk about out of nowhere.

Cole goes back to his seat; giving Socko back to Foley, as Morrison points toward the crowd, and drags Storm over to the corner, and hits Starship Pain! Morrison covers Storm, 1, 2, 3!

Winner: John Morrison (8:24)

Morrison drops to his knees, as Storm rolls out of the ring, and the ref hands Morrison the title, and he (the ref) raises his (Morrison’s) hand.

Cole: No! No, so close was Lance Storm.

Foley: Yes, but he was also so far away there Cole.

Morrison goes up to the turnbuckles to celebrate with the crowd, as they pop for Morrison, and when he gets down from all four turnbuckles, Lance Storm has gotten up, and Morrison points at Storm, and raises the title up high, as Storm shakes his head no, and as starts to walk up the entrance way, and into the backstage area. Morrison’s music continues to play, as he pumps up the fans by raising his arms up and down through the air.

Cole: Well, up next we will have our true main event, where the good guys WILL come out on top, as the amazing Sheamus and the world’s strongest and baddest man Mark Henry take on dwarfs known as Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero.

Foley: Those “dwarfs” will just happen to represent Smackdown at Backlash, as they compete against Edge and Christian and Show-Miz for the unified tag team titles.

We cut backstage with Josh Matthews with Sheamus.

Matthews: Good evening ladies and gentlemen; I am here with one of the 4 men who will be competing in this tag team main event up next, Sheamus. Now Sheamus, are you and Mark Henry on the same page here tonight?

Sheamus: Aye, we are. Aye, we will be in that ring, because when you put the Celtic warrior and the world’s strongest AND baddest man together, you get complete destruction, and we don’t care how much of a “miracle story” this is for the other two, we will crush them tonight.

Matthews: Sheamus, I have to ask you, even though you are in a main event tonight, you really don’t have anything going for you, so are you basically just looking for a fight now?

Sheamus: You know Josh, at first I felt like hitting you, but after you cleared that up, I’m not. Now, to respond to your question, I’m not in a “program” right now, because no one wants to face me. Batista, declined. John Morrison, declined. The Undertaker, declined. HHH, declined. Point is Josh, no one wants to face me.

Matthews: There is that vacant United States championship; I could definitely see you fitting that well; your thoughts.

Sheamus: The vacant United States Championship, well I guess that could be alright, but the World Heavyweight Championship is what I’m really aiming for, and if anyone gets in my way, it will be a huge mistake to TRY to block me from winning another world title.

Matthews: Well, it’s almost time for the main event; I’m going to let you go, and good luck, but before you go, how impressed were you by John Morrison’s title win just minutes ago.

Sheamus: Not at all, as Mick Foley basically said, Lance Storm is stupid, and as I and many others always say, I’m smart.

Sheamus walks past; heading towards the ramp, as John Morrison walks up from behind, and grabs Josh Matthews’ wrist, and brings it toward his mouth.

Morrison: Not impressive, huh. Well, we’ll see about that.

**Commercial Break**

Raw Rebound: We show the Cana/ADR/Orton promo to open the show. Then we go to a recap of the big 8 man tag match. It then cuts to the Goldberg vs. CM Punk Backlash contract signing. It then shows a recap of the Cena/Undertaker vs. Del Rio/Orton match.

We come back ready for our main event, as Rey and Chavo’s music hits.

**We Lie, We Cheat, We Steal**

Rey and Chavo come out in a low rider, with nothing but smiles on their faces, as Chavo is driving the low rider up to the ring, as Rey is dancing all throughout the low rider, from the passenger seat, to the back center of it.

Cole: We are pleased to tell you all that this match will come with no commercial breaks at all, so we’ll be with you all watching at home throughout the whole match.

**Some Bodies Going To Get It**

Mark Henry comes out with the deeply bandaged up Big Daddy V, after Kane assault on him earlier tonight, but no Matt Striker, as he mysteriously disappeared after Kane’s assault.

**Written In My Face**

Sheamus makes his way out to the ring, and as he meets Mark Henry at the edge of the entrance ramp near the ring, they touch fists, and climb into the ring, and they are ready for action.

Match 4

Tag Team Match

Sheamus and Mark Henry vs. Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero

The bell rings, and Mark Henry and Chavo Guerrero start it out, as Chavo charges right toward Henry, and starts clubbing lefts and rights at him, before Henry simply runs him over with a shoulder block without even bouncing off of the ropes. Chavo is up, and runs towards Henry, but Henry hits another shoulder block, which again knocks Chavo down, straight on his butt. Chavo gets up again, and starts to throw more lefts and rights at Henry, but Henry hits another shoulder block, and just like the last two, he didn’t even have to bounce off of the ropes for it. Henry goes for the cover by simply stepping on Chavo with his right foot, 1, 2, no! Chavo was able to push Henry’s massive leg off of him, and at the same time, being able to lift his left shoulder up. Mark Henry then walks over to Sheamus, and tags in his partner.

Sheamus comes out, and starts to completely pound on Chavo Guerrero, and takes his back, and locks in a rear naked choke; a submission hold that we rarely see from Sheamus. Chavo is able to escape it by breaking up Sheamus’ arms, and turning over, and he is now in the guard position. Sheamus now locks in an arm bar out of nowhere from the guard, and rolls Chavo over, but Chavo is so close to the ropes, and he is able to reach out, and grab them. Chavo then is able to quickly get up, roll past Sheamus, and tag in Rey. Rey comes out, and starts hitting leg kicks; before bouncing off of the ropes, and hits a diving clothesline. Rey gets up right away; followed up by Sheamus at a ref’s count of 2, and they lock up in a muai thai clinch, and Sheamus surprises everyone again, and hits a very good looking judo throw. Sheamus then goes over to his corner, and tags in Mark Henry.

Henry comes out, and hits a falling elbow drop on the still down Rey Mysterio. Henry then bounces off of the ropes, and goes for a big splash, but Mysterio gets out of the way. Mark is on his knees when Rey gets up, and Rey delivers 3 right kicks to the side of Henry, and he then bounces off of the ropes, and hits a dropkick right to Henry’s face. Mysterio covers Henry, but Henry just easily tosses Mysterio off of him after a 1 count. Mysterio then tags in Chavo, who was calling for it, and Chavo charges at Henry, but Henry catches him, and hits a spinning side slam. Big Daddy V is walking around with no emotion on his face, as Henry delivers a standing leg drop to Chavo.

Cole: Henry looks very impressive, and he makes it so easy.

Foley: I think Henry might weigh more than Chavo and Rey combined.

Cole:
I’ll agree, but Big Daddy V definitely does.

Foley: I agree; without a doubt.

We goes back to the action, and Henry is trying to pick up Chavo, but Chavo goes for a hurricanrana out of nowhere, but Henry counters it by lifting him out, but Chavo is somehow able to use all of his strength to power out of it, and hit a facebuster. Chavo them follows that up by bouncing off of the ropes, and hits a standing leg drop right to the back of Henry’s head. Chavo then repeats the process, and tags in Mysterio, who climbs to the top rope, and goes for his frog splash, but Henry got out of the way, and he is able to tag in Sheamus.

Sheamus comes out, and picks up the down Rey Mysterio, and lifts him up; going for the Celtic Cross, but Rey is somehow able to get out of it, fall behind Sheamus, and hit a neck breaker. Rey then hits a springboard moonsault off of the ropes, and goes for the pin, 1, 2, no! Sheamus got his right shoulder up, and get’s up to his feet, as Rey tags in Chavo Guerrero. Chavo comes in quickly, but eats a big boot by Sheamus, and followed by one of Sheamus’ finishers, the Celtic Cross. Before Sheamus is able to get him, and pin him, Chavo rolls out of the ring. Sheamus follows him, and whips Chavo into the barricade. Sheamus then takes him, and slams his head against the steel ring post. The ref’s count is now at 5, and Sheamus is not letting up, and he continues to pound on Chavo, until he (Sheamus) finally decides to get in the ring at a ref’s count of 7. Rey then decides to take a stand, and gets off of the apron, and throws his partner, Chavo into the ring at a ref’s count of 8! Sheamus then quickly tries to pin Guerrero, 1, 2, no! Chavo got his right shoulder up, and even with Sheamus hooking his left leg, he got out of it.

Cole: You got to wonder if Chavo would have made it if Rey didn’t help him out; what do you think Foley?

Foley: In all honesty, I agree with you Cole, it definitely would have been close, but I don’t think Chavo would have got in the ring when the ref counted 10.

Sheamus goes over, and tags in Mark Henry, who barely catches Chavo as he tried to tag back in Rey, but Henry turns Chavo around, pulls him to the center of the ring, and locks in a bear hug. Chavo struggles for a while, and is eventually able to tag in Rey. Rey comes out on fire, and hits a standing cross-body, which knocks Henry down, they each get up right away, and Rey hits his signature inverted bulldog on Henry. Rey is feeling it now, and he dropkicks Sheamus off of the apron, but just as Chavo was about to go attack him, Rey stops him, and points for him to stay on the apron. This distraction allows Henry to lock in a bear hug, but this time on Mysterio, but this time, it is escaped quickly by Mysterio. Mysterio then bounces off of the ropes, and hits a spinning heel kick to Henry, which knocks the big man down. Rey then waits for Henry to get up, (the ref doesn’t count) and when he does, he hits a dropkick to Henry’s back, which sends his head on top of the middle rope. Now, Rey bounces off of the ropes, and hits a 619! Rey then drops the dime, and goes for the pin, 1, 2, no! Big Daddy V pulled the ref out of the ring, and right after the ref was pulled out of the ring, Kane enters the ring from just about out of nowhere, Picks up Mark Henry by his throat, and hits a chokeslam. Big Daddy V then throws the ref back into the ring, right after Kane hits the chokeslam, because he thought that the ref would see Kane, but he didn’t. Rey then tags in Chavo, and right away, Chavo climbs to the top rope, and hits a Frog Splash! Chavo pins Henry, 1, 2, 3!
Winners: Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero (13:03)

Rey and Chavo embrace in a hug in the ring, and celebrate their massive victory.

Cole: Kane just screwed Mark Henry, Kane screwed Mark Henry!

Foley: What a smart move by Kane, just waits until the referee is distracted, and hits.

Rey and Chavo climb up to the top of the ring, as Kane enters the ring with them; pointing at Mark Henry and Big Daddy V, as those two and Sheamus walk back up the entrance way. Kane lets out a huge laugh, as the tag team title contenders continue to celebrate; now leaving the ring, and embracing the fans.

Cole: That’s all we have for this week; tune in next week for more Smackdown action.

Foley:
We’ll see you then; I’m Mick Foley, along with Michael Cole; goodnight everyone.

Kane does his normal pyro to a huge pop, and points of fingers (of respect) from Chavo and Rey to Kane.
