My real complaint is that you handle criticism with what I imagine to be a shit-eating smirk on your face that just screams, "I'm being criticized, but that's crazy because I never lost an argument on the internet."

I don't want you to fix anything. That's not what this thread was about. I was attempting to start a dialogue on the forum with the people who have been here throughout the board's evolution. I don't really know what about this thread compelled you to understand it as me begging for your admin wrench, and then take THAT incorrect assessment as a personal insult.

I'll be a little bit more clear about what my intentions are with this thread, because it doesn't seem to me that you or anybody else really understands what I'm trying to do. And that's okay.

I want to open up a dialogue about the state of the bar room and the forum in general, so that I can have a better idea of the general mindset of the forum, and what people use it for, and what is generally considered acceptable or not acceptable to the forum's users.

I don't see why posting in the bar room about the bar room is necessarily stupid, and I don't think you do either. Just like throughout the rest of this thread, you're just trying to attack the merits of my argument by continuing to paint me as someone that shouldn't be taken seriously, or attributing ridiculous, over-the-top personality traits to me. You're responding like I'm insulting your family, and now you're just calling me names. Your arguments are deteriorating, and you have a safety net of friends who are circling around to catch you once you finally do snap and start swearing at me (one of them simply told me to shut the fuck up, and nothing else). I'm not trying to change anything. I just want a better understanding of it.

At this point, I'm waiting for the "you're taking things too seriously" brigade to show up so I can argue with them about why it's perfectly acceptable to take a forum you've been on for 6 years a bit more seriously than having some random flame war with a teenager on 4chan.

We use it for posting wrestling and other topics when they're newsworthy. The non-spam forums are for nitwits with too much time on their hands or the occasional good discussion. The staff determines what is or isn't acceptable and really only our opinions matter. If someone else says something that offends you on here but doesn't break our rules, grow more skin.
