As it's been reported on Wrestlezone, some believe there could be a Team Dx Vs. Team Legacy at Survivor Series. If this happens I do believe the 2 teams should be as follows.

DX: Bring em back - HHH
HBK
X-Pac
Road Dogg
Billy Gunn

Legacy: Heritage - Orton
Dibiase
Rhodes
Kidd
DHS

Now I know i will get a lot of heat for reforming DX but this could be done as a one off and would garner a huge amount of interest.

The Hart Dynasty's involvement would be the result of an alliance of the Pedigree of wrestling's past. (ignore kidd).

Things of interest:

HBK has rarely wrestled alongside DX-2 , The new age outlaws maybe but never X-Pac in that incarnation of himself.

THD wrestling HBK at a Survivor Series that is already rumored to have the presence of Bret Hart.

What does everyone think? Could you add to the idea?

Although I think DX and Legacy will square off at Survivor Series. I don't see any indication of The NAO & X-pac returning. Plus I wouldn't want them too.

I think one of 2 scenarios will occur:

3-on-3 Survivor Series Match

DX & John Cena vs. Legacy & Randy Orton

OR........

5-on-5 Survivor Series Match

DX, John Cena, MVP & Mark Henry vs. Legacy, Randy Orton, & Jeri-Show

I think either one of these is likely to occur at Survivor Series.

I doubt that they would put Cena and Orton in a traditional survivor series elimination match due to the fact that they will probably still be duking it out for the title...which is getting really fucking old.

Now to the thread, I could see this happening

4 on 4 Survivor Series Match

DX, Batista(who is one of my favorite wrestlers so everyone stop bashing him:2up:. He is a good wrestler, has more moves then people give him credit for,and isnt as bad on the mic as everyone says he is...but I digress), and Mysterio vs. Legacy and JeriShow

or

DX and Cryme Tyme vs. Legacy and The Hart Dynasty

I would rather see the first of the two, but IMO i think they would both be good matches

The original DX reuniting at survivor series against team legacy would be awesome. I don't know what the chances are though. Is Kip James still with TNA? Plus I don't know how much heat BG and Kip still have with HHH and vice versa. And is Xpac still in rehab hehe. That would be sick though to have the original DX return, minus Chyna of course. Bring back some renewed interest to the WWE product that is just plodding along. Also couple that with a Bret Hart return and that would be sick.

The chances of this happening are 0%. I doubt Vince has forgotten all the stuff Road Dogg and Gunn have said about him in the past especially about HHH and HBK. I don't think X-Pac has done anything to get himself in McMahon's good graces so this is a total failure.

With both Road Dog and Billy free from TNA, their return wouldn't be that much of a surprise. But "Little Jerry Lawler" was right; Vince has a long memory and does not forgive anyone he feels betrayed him in the past. As far as X-Pac, no chance that he'll pass the wellness test to be a superstar. He's a good wrestler, just has his demons like Scott Hall.

Sadly, I see it as a 6 man with Cena; I say this because it has become so monotonous that why pay for it when we see it on Raw every week...and I mean EVERY WEEK!!! They really need new material.

Yep..same old crap with a Cena shuffle knuffle thing, with possibly Cena getting a pinfall. When you see a 6 man tag team match its so predictable that you could place a bet with somebody and would win. But with Legacy their innovative I guess..and both have 'heat' at their stage of their careers. Why ruin a good thing with bringing in 'superman' into the match. If itll be DX vs legacy maybe bring some up and coming stars into their stable.. Like they did in 06 with Punk and the Hardys. This year they could use Morrison ,Cryme Tyme and MVP on his own.

the original DX have already returned, Triple and HBK minus Chyna and Rick Rude...

why don't the bring back the oringinal DX that went by a different name yes i am talking about THE KLIQ, we all know this could be Shawns last year in the WWE for a while and Kevin Nash was talking about returning for Shawn's last year there and what they hell get Scott Hall and X-Pac out of rehab for one night to do this that would be a survivor series dream to me

as awesome as the kliq would be and its my dream to see it i doubt we ever will.

however i think its still a stretch but possible that we could get hbk, hhh, road dogg, and x pac vs cody, ted, dh, and kidd.... as for orton im pretty sure he will be headlining the ppv with orton vs cena 99 for the wwe title

Orton V. Cena 99?? One match with HHH for the title...then one match where Orton dropped the strap... How is that 99 most feuds go on for three or four matches, you have the first where the champ either loses or cheats to retain, then the rematch where the face wins or the heel cheats again then the third match where either the heel finally rises and beats the face or his luck runs out.

This is a standard feud and I really am sick of people bitching about it. Triple H vs. Randy Orton went on for about 6 months, that was too long but this is relatively fresh. I know they have done it before but not for a while and I quite like their chemistry.

On topic; I think this would be cool but it won't happen, itll be DX and Cryme Tyme or some pairing like that which makes no sense, VS Legacy and the Hart Dynasty.

I really hope they have the sense to make HIAC the final match though, I don't need to see this at Survivor Series and I think the cell is the perfect time to end it. The feud wouldn't have gone on for too long or too short, it would be just right.

Just My Opinion

If they're going to use this at Survivor Series, expect it to look a lot like the team they had a few years ago. Not exactly Punk, Jeff, and Matt, but something along those lines, against a group of guys following the pattern of Orton and Legacy.

On Team DX we'd obviously see HHH and HBk, but I think they'd add in a true tag team like Cryme Tyme, who would be the equalizer to Legacy, and a solid mid-carder like Morrison or Evan Bourne.

Team Legacy would have to include Orton, Rhodes, and DiBiase, and would most likely include the Harts. It would make the most sense, and leaving them off would look silly.

The problem with having this kind of match, is that it would have to be built as a main event, and does it really seem like a match that should go over a title match? Are the Harts ready for this kind of big time? Are they really going to push Morrison as a guy that can hang with this crowd? There's too many question marks.

If the Hart Dynasty is on Legacy's team I have a feeling they will either tease Bret's return or it will happen on that day, since there have been so many reports, rumors, and even Bret saying he's open to anything now.

I think that would be a great idea for original members of DX like the New Age Outlaws, X-pac, and Chyna return, but I don't see it happening. I don't think that Chyna will set foot in a WWE ring ever again. X-pac possibly, and Road Dogg Jesse James did just get released from TNA so that's a possiblity right there.

I can see DX, Batista and Rey teaming up to face Legacy and Jerishow for sure with the results from Monday night. It would cool to see 4 actual teams face off and be showcased in a traditional Survivor Series tag team match. This should be the final confrontation between DX and Legacy. This would be by no means the match of the night, but should be a nice match to say the least but Team DX would more than likely win here.

I'll be honest, I really can't see John Cena losing to Orton at Bragging rights, and there isn't really anyone that good to face him at Survivor Series, so I anticipate that the following will happen.

Firstly, Cena will beat Orton and then engage in a feud that will elevate rather than be particularly good against somebody like The Miz. Meanwhile, the feud between Legacy and DX as well as that between DX and Jerishow will reach a kind of plateau. What will then happen is we will likely see, as the second main event Jerishow and Legacy (including Orton) against DX, Mark Henry, MVP and somebody entirely thrown in like Kofi Kingston or someone.

Meanwhile Smackdown will have the tried and tested main event of Batista vs Undertaker as well as an ill conceived thrown together Suvivor Series match with something like Mysterio, Morrison, Cryme Tyme and Matt Hardy against Punk, Ziggler, The Harts and Drew McIntyre or something else equally thrown together. So, yes I expect Legacy vs DX, and I expect it to basically be the Raw main event.

Regardless of who the partners are with DX, this match will happen and it will be the end of this feud I think. DX will win out probably but Legacy has sure looked strong throughout this entire feud, and no matter the outcome, Legacy will be strong and credible. This will hopefully put well together and not thrown together.

1. Road Dogg said he's out of shape and IF he returns it wont be in time for Survivor Series.
2. X-Pac working on the Independent Circuit. But then he might actualley do a sporadic deal.
3. Billy Gunn's is in TNA has the (kayfabe) brother of BG James and TNA would never allow WWE to have Billy Gunn for a Sporadic Appearance and if TNA did "sell" Kip James (AKA Billy Gunn) it wouldn't be to WWE it would be to Nu Wrestling Promotion or ROH just to spite WWE

The build at the mo IMO is:

Team DiBiase:
Ted DiBiase Jr.
1/2 Unified Tag Team Champ Big Show
Matt Hardy
Rey Mysterio
(now on SmackDown) John Cena
VS!
Team Orton:
WWE Champ Randy Orton
1/2 Unified Tag Team Champ Chris Jericho
Kane
CM Punk
Cody Rhodes

The OP's idea was neat and creative. But it will more than likely never happen. Waltman,Gunn, and James all have heat with McMahon from what I understand. Now for Legacy's team I can definetly see that being it. But don't count on a Bret Hart return. There's been talk of one but I wouldn't be surprised if it was all just talk. HBK's recent comments about Michaels and HHH show he isn't over Montreal. As for Team DX I could see Cryme Tyme and maybe MVP or Kofi Kingston evening out the team so it is all faces vs all heels and only two tag teams from Smackdown with history with each other get involved. It would be a good plateau for Hart Dynasty to get some proper build as a unit.

Gunn, Dogg, and X-Pac are not coming back to the WWE. None of them have a good relationship with the organization anymore.
