There's not going to be any fancy backstory or anything like that, but this is going to be my view for a new WWE, or the same WWE with different storylines, whatever.

I will not be holding shows in the same cities as in real life, partially because I can't be arsed to look them up, and partially because it will be in the interest of my storyline to have it in a particular wrestler's back yard.

The rosters will be as they are now, and I will be using a few legends here and there, as is the case in the real world, and I will sporiadically release and hire wrestlers.

So, without further ado...

Monday Night Raw Houston, Texas 6th April

A brief highlights package of WrestleMania plays, followed by the Raw credits, we go into the arena and Lilian Garcia is standing in the centre of the ring, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler are at ringside. The Raw music ends and Randy Orton's music begins to play.

Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome Randy Orton.

The crowd boos as Orton appears in street clothes. He walks methodically down to the ring with a microphone and begins to speak.

Last night, you witnessed a travesty. What you saw was HHH lie and cheat his way to victory. It doesn't matter that he beat me, because it wasn't fair. Did you think beating me with a sledgehammer was going to keep me quiet? I already have my lawyers on the case, and if they find that you acted in breach of the championship match contract, I will sue this company for everything it has. HHH, I assure you, if you are going to cheat me out of a win in the ring, I will beat you in the courts. I will have my lawyers ensure that I get a rematch at Backlash, I will...

Vince McMahon walks down to the ring, with purpose in his eyes as he stares at Orton. He then climbs into the ring and stares down Orton.

And he doesn't look happy, Orton better pucker up, I think he's going to be in MrMcMahon's kiss my ass club.

Who in hell do you think you are? You terrorise my family for weeks, then you lose against my son-in-law, and yo have the audacity to suggest that you deserve another shot at the title. Orton, you punted me in the head, and there is no way I'm going to let you get away with that, so tonight, I'm putting you in a handicap match...

How dare you? Your son in law cheated me out of what was rightly mine and now your saying that I have to fight him, and his crony. That isn't fair, I had a contract to a fair fight for the title at WrestleMania, and now you are saying I can't have one?

Orton tries to slap Vince, but Vince sees it coming, HHH and Shane come running down to the ring and drag Orton away.

Wait a minute, wait a minute... Hold him there.

HHH and Shane hold Orton still on the entrance ramp, Vince gets right up into his face with the microphone

Randy Orton, you're fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiired.

I don't belive it! The Legend Killer has been fired by Mr. McMahon

Good! Orton has been throwing his weight around here for far too long. Mr. McMahon just gve him everything he deserved.

Orton looks flabbergasted as a team of security personnel come and escort him away from the ring along with Shane and HHH. Vince goes back into the ring.


That felt goood. In fact, it felt really good. So good, that I'm going to make a few other changes to shake things up around here. Firstly, all WWE titles have been vacated, effective immediately. Over the next three weeks there will be a tournament for each vacant title. As of this instant the brand split is suspended, pending a draft on Raw in 3 weeks.

Can you believe it Cole? There's going to be new champions galore.

There certainly is King, we'll have our first tournament match when we get back.

ECW Title Tournament First Round, Rey Mysterio vs. Paul Burchill

The two wrestlers make their way down to the ring, Burchill is accompanied by Katie Lea. Burchill begins to dominate the match early on, hitting Rey with a series of fists. He eventually starts to slam Rey to the mat. Rey runs at him, he hits him with a clothes line for a 2 count.

Rey gets up and runs at Burchill who prepares to back body drop him. Rey slides under his legs and hits him with a dropkick, causing him to fall on to the ropes.

It looks like Rey is going for the 619, King

Rey bounces off the opposite ropes, but is tripped by Katie Lea grabbing his ankle from the outside.

Disconnected by Katie Lea

That is one sweet operator, Cole

He stands up and turns to confront KAtie, but is hit from behind by Burchill. Burchill whips Rey into the corner and runs at him, but Rey lifts his legs and kicks him in the face. Burchill turns his back on Rey and Rey bulldogs him for a two count. Burchill gets up and runs at him, but Rey ducks out of the way. Burchill comes back off the other rope and hits a clothes line for 2. Rey kicks out and is whipped by Burchill into the ropes. Rey leaps over him, and hits him with a drop toe hold onto the middle rope. Rey goes for the 619...

That time it connected!

Burchill staggers around the ring, while Rey jumps from the apron to the top rope and hits a springboard hurricanrana. He pins Burchill and progresses to the Semi Final.

Rey is our first tournament match winner King!
Yeah, Rey won a tough match against the ripper there.

We cut to the locker room where Beth Phoenix and Santino Marella are sitting alongside Rosa Mendes.

Santino, why did you enter the Divas battle royale, last night.

I did not, it was my sister who won the royal battle.

Santino, I know it was you, and if you are going to be awkward about it, I'm not going to be at ringside for you tonight.

Looks like there's trouble in paradise for Glamarella, King

If Santino is in paradise, I'm glad I haven't been there.

Will Beth Phoenix join her man at ringside, we'll find out when we return

COMMERCIAL BREAK

IC Title Tournament 1st Round Santino Marella vs. Charlie Haas

Santino comes down to the ring, followed reluctantly by Phoenix and Mendes. Haas coes down to the ring dressed as Macho Man Charlie Savage.

The match is a slow headlock filled affair, with Haas having the early advantage. Santino is whipped into the ropes, and Beth pulls them down, causing him to fall out of the ring. Haas goes to the top rope and hits the axe handle on Santino, before rolling him into the ring for the three count. Haas advances to the semi finals.


Santino comes around and realises what has happened, he grabs a mic.

Oh God, here we go.

This isn't fair. I demand the match to be restarted. I'm a going to sit here until Vince McMahons comes and restarts the match.

Santino sits in the centre of the ring, but is soon joined by Beth, who he stands up to. Santino gives Beth a light slap, causing her to toss him from the ring. Santino leaves, dejected, as Brie Bellas music hits and she enters the ring.

Women's title tournament 1st Round Beth Phoenix vs. Brie Bella

Beth dominates the twin early on, repeatedly throwing her to the ground. She throws Brie through the ropes, who attempts to go under the ring, Beth drags her out, but Nikki Bella appears anyway. Rosa Mendestakes out Nikki, and Beth tosses Brie back to the ring. Beth lifts Brie into her chickenwing finisher, but then holds her in a submission move on the ground, causing Brie to tap out.

What a brutal move by Beth Phoenix.

It looks like Beth is taking out her frustration at Santino out on the WWE divas.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Welcome back to Monday Night Raw, and we have just found out that our main event this evening will be a reunion of D-Generation X as HHH and HBK take on The Miz and John Morrison for two spots in the semi finals of the World Heavyweight Championship title tournament.

It's going to be huge!

We cut to backstage, where Vince is getting into the back of his limo. All of a sudden, a masked man comes from nowhere and hits Vince with a crowbar until he's down on the ground. Before running away.

Oh my God! Somebody has just brutalised the chairman of the board. I wonder who it could have been

That would be Orton. There's nobody else who is that much of a coward in the entire WWE Universe.

Well we'll have to wait and see King. We'll keep you posted fans, but I'm sure Mr. McMahon would have wanted the show to go on, and we've got a huge WWE title match coming up right now.

WWE Title Tournament 1st Round Great Khali vs. Matt Hardy

Hardy gets the early offence in, hitting Khali with a few chops, but the big man doesn't even move an inch. He chops Hardy, who immediately falls down to the ground. Hardy struggles over to the ropes, and pulls himself to his feet and runs at Khali, Khali stands tall again. Hardy runs back off the ring ropes and hits Khali. This time Khali takes a step back, but is let ultimately unscathed by the attack. Hardy hits him with a drop kick, and Khali falls against the ropes.Hardy charges at him, and is sent over the top rope by Khali.

Hardy gets up, and clibms up to the apron. He jumps down, holding Khali's head onto the rope, causing Khali to stagger back into the ring. Khali returns to the ropes, where Hardy is attempting to get back into the ring, and lifts Hardy by his head into the ring. He takes a swing at Hardy, but he ducks and Khali luges forward. Hardy trips him and sends him onto the top rope. Hardy runs into the ropes on the opposite side and hits Khali on the rebound, with the momentum carrying them both out of the ring.

Will Hardy be able to capitalise? Find out when we come back to Raw.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

both men are struggling to their feet as the referee is counting to 10. At eight, both men clamber into the ring, Khali is down, as Hardy goes to the second rope to hit an axe handle onKhali who is getting to his feet. Hardy jumps but Khali swats him into the referee, who goes down. Khali picks Hardy up, but Hardy gives Khali a low blow. Khali doubles up in pain and Hardy goes for the twist of fate, but he is pushed away straight out of the ring by Khali, who then taunts. Matt Hardy returns with a chair and hits Khali. Khali staggers, but doesn't go down, until Matt hits the twisto of fate. He throws the chair at Ranjin Singh, and wakes the ref, before covering Khali for the win.

A Huge upset for Matt Hardy there against the Punjabi Playboy

I don't think the playboy will be seeing his ladies tonight after that low blow.

We return to see Bourne in the ring, and Swagger's music begins

ECW title tournament 1st Round Jack Swagger vs. Evan Bourne

Bourne starts the match at a million miles an hour, hitting Swagger with several kicks at various heights. Swagger gets tired of this and pushes him down. Swagger then picks him up, and slams him back down for a one count. Swagger whips Bourne against the ropes, and hits him with a powerslam on the rebound for a two count.

Swagger gets up and gets Bourne in an amateur style hold. Bourne manages to wriggle free, and as Swagger runs at him, he leaps up and gives him a hurricanrana for a one count. Bourne jumps to the top rope and hits Swagger with a missile drop kick for a two count. Bourne then hits a standing moonsault for another two count, but he is violently thrown off into the corner by Swagger.

Swagger picks him up and puts him on the top rope for a superplex. Bourne manages to push him off, and he lands in a prone position for the Shooting Star Press. Bourne goes to hit it, but Swagger rolls out of the way. Swagger gets up and picks Bourne up and hits him with the gutwrench powerbomb for the win.

We return from break to see pictures o Vince being put into an ambulance

Ladies and gentlemen, the WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has been taken to hospital after the vicious attack earlier. We are told he is stable, and we hope to give you more information when we hear it.

I only hope that Vince gets better soon and makes Orton pay for what he did.

Now, King, we don't know it was Orton.

Whatever, who else would it have been?

Divas' Title tournament Round 1 Maryse vs. Kelly Kelly

The ladies attack each other immediately, and go into catfight mode. The referee seperates them, then Kelly Kelly hits Maryse with a spinning hurricanrana. Maryse goes down for a two count, but gets up. She whips Kelly Kelly into the corner and goes for the 10 punches. Kelly pushes her off at 8 and goes for a pin. There's a two count but Maryse pushes her away. Kelly bounces off the turnbuckle straight into a roll up, and Maryse progresses to the semi-finals.

We go backstage and see DX preparing

Coming up next, our main event!

WHC Semi final qualifier DX vs Miz and Morrison

Shawn Michaels and The Miz start up. The Miz runs at Michaels, who gives him a hiptoss. Michaels then hits The Miz with a few body chops before tagging in HHH. HHH holds the Miz in a headlock, for a while, before releasing into an irish whip. he clotheslines Miz down and then goes for a knee drop. He tags in HBK who immediately tries to cover the Miz, but he kicks out at two.

HBK goes for a few punches on Miz, but Miz returns a couple of his own. Michaels whips Miz, and they simultaneously clothesline each other, Both men crawl to their own corners, but only the Miz makes it, tagging in Morrison who quickly drags Michaels back into the centre of the ring and goes for the cover. Michaels kicks out at 2 and Morrison hits a few stomps on him, before taking him to the corner and tagging in Miz.

Miz gives him a few punches, then a leg sweep for a two count. He then takes Michaels over to the corner and does the slingshot/punch/springboard elbow drop move that they do. Morrison goes for the cover, gets two and then hits the springboard roundhouse kick for another two count.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

We return to see Morrison holding Michaels in an abdominal stretch. Michaels manages to break free, and then Morrison whips him into the ropes. Michaels hits the back elbow and both men are down. The referee starts counting, and both men kip-up and tag in their respective partners.

HHH comes in at full steam and knocks the Miz down twice with clotheslines, before hitting him with a huge spinebuster for two. HHH gets up and holds him in a head lock morrison tags Miz on the back and becomes the legal man. He hits HHH with a european uppercut for a two count. He picks him up and starts to deliver kicks. HHH catches his leg, and Morrison hits an enziguri for two.

HHH throws him off and picks him up, he then throws him to the ropes and gives a few punches before bouncing off the ropes and hitting Morrison with a running knee, then a knee drop. He pins him, but Miz runs in and breaks up the pin. Michaels comes into the ring too, but Miz runs straight at him, Michaels guides him so he falls through the middle ropes out of the ring.

Morrison tries to hit Michaels with a superkick, but he ducks and hits him with one of his own. Morrison falls straight into a pedigree and DX pick up the win.

DX have done it! They will be in the World Heavyweight Title semi finals against each other on Raw next week

That's going to be a huge match of mutual respect.

Morrison rolls out of the ring as DX celebrate. All of a sudden HHH grabs Michaels and puts him in the pedigree.

Looks like you spoke too soon about mutual respect, King. HHH has etrayed Shawn Michaels!

The masked man from before comes down the ramp and picks Michaels up, holding him underneath the armpits as HHH punshes him in the face.

It's the masked man!

That's not Orton at all, he's helping The Game!

Stephanie McMahon appears

Stephanie! Don't tell me she is in on this brutality as well?

She has a sledgehammer King, I think she is helping her husband and the masked man.

She gives HHH the sledgehammer, which he then hits Michaels in the stomach with. Michaels is lying unconscious and bleeding from the mouth, as the masked man reveals himself to be Shane McMahon.

It was Shane! Shane attacked his own father!

These young McMahons have gone crazy!


HHH, Shane, Stephanie stand over Michaels, with their arms held aloft, as the copyright thing comes up and Raw goes off the air.
 
ECW on Sci-Fi Tuesday 7 April 2009, Calgary, Alberta, Canada

The ECW music plays as we go into the arena. The lights are down and come up on Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Shane McMahon who are in the centre of the ring. Josh Matthews and Matt Striker are at ringside.

Last night on Raw you saw the beginning of a new era in sports entertainment

You see, we got tired of waiting for ol' daddy Vince to retire and let us take the wheel for a little bit.

My father never learnt his lessons from the Invasion. He never learnt that Shane and myself can't be taken lightly.

You see our father gave up everything for this business. His time, his money, his children, and we felt that it would be fair if we let him start his retirement.

As for Michaels, he was riding my coat tails for too long, and after I beat him for a spot in the World Heavyweight Championship title match next Monday on Raw, I'm going to show him exactly where he'd be without me. I got rid of Orton, now I'm going to get rid of you.

Triple H's music plays as the three walk out of the ring and up the entrance ramp.

It looks like the WWE isn't going to be the same ever again,

Yeah, no more Vince, no more Orton, and speaking of Orton, his old buddies from Legacy are in action when we come back.

COMMERCIAL BREAKDOWN

We retrun to see Jimmy Wang Yang and Kung Fu Funaki in the ring, as Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes make their way down to the ring.

Unified Tag Titles Tournament Round 1 Priceless vs. Japanarana

Yang and Rhodes start up the match. Rhodes hits yang with a few punches and whips him to the corner. He tags in DiBiase who gets wang in a headlock. Wang breaks free and managest to tag Funaki. Funaki is immediately dropped to the mat by DiBiase, who then goes and tags in Rhodes.

Rhodes comes into the ring and gets Funaki in a rest hold on the floor. He's really straing, but eventually Funaki gets to the ropes. He tags in Wang, but Rhodes doesn't see. Rhodes whips him towards the corner, where DiBiase has removed the turnbuckle cover and he hits his head and falls down. The referee was watching Wang come in, so he doesn't see it.

Rhodes goes for the pin, but is told by the referee that Yang is the legal man, Rhodes is outraged and pushes Funaki out of the ring. Yang runs up from behind and dropkicks him into DiBiase who fall off the apron and lands on top of Funaki. Yang goes to the top rope and goes for the patented moonsault, but Rhodes steps to one side then hits him with the Cross Rhodes for the three count.

Ted gets up and brings two microphones to the ring, handing one to Cody. As Yang and Funaki leave the arena.

Last week our mentor Randy Orton was cruelly fired by our esteemed chairman. Lets just say that Team Priceless where not to upset to see Vince dealt with later in the evening.

But Randy's firing leaves us with a pot to fill as mentor, so without any further ado let us introduce our new manager and guide...

Welcome back to ECW on Sci-Fi.

We have already seen the Million Dollar Man make a comeback, but what other surprises are in store on tonight's show. Now we have a divas match featuring the freshly returned Gail Kim

Women's Title Tournament Round 1 Gail Kim vs. Katie Lea Burchill

The two women come down to the ring alone and the match gets underway. Katie gets some early offence in and whips Gail into the corner. She hits her with a few punches, but Gail throws her off. Gail runs and hits her with a knee and mountse her to give a few punches.

Katie gets free and tries to put Gail in an abdominal stretch, but Gail counters and runs to the ropes, hitting a hurricanrana on the rebound. Gail goes for the pin, but Katie kicks out at two. She starts to pull Katie's hair, but Gail manages to get free and hits Katie with the jumping foot to face.

She goes for the pin, but Paul Burchil runs in and breaks up the pin, and carries Katie Lea away in a fireman's carry to the back. Gail Kim wins by disqualification.

Paul Burchill just took his sister out of the match!

She may not have even lost. Burchill may just have cost her dearly. Still, Gail looked very good and she progresses to the next round.

We go backstage and see Tommy Dreamer being interviewed by Eve Torres

Tommy, with all of the recent changes in WWE, does that affect your decision to retire if you fail to win ECW gold?

Well Eve, I think that my point is still valid. If I'm not an ECW champion by June 8th, then I'm not competing. If I'm not competitive, I don't want to be here, it is as simple as that.

Do you think you have a chance at winning the ECW Championship now that the Board of Directors have decreed that all title championship and tournament matches must be extreme rules matches, starting tonight?

Well, yeah. As the innovator of violence, I fully intend to utilise the rule change to my advantage, starting tonight against the least deserving former ECW champion of all time.

ECW Championship Round 1 Chavo Guerrero vs Tommy Dreamer (Extreme Rules)

Tommy gets us under way with a few right hands. Chavo manages to get him into a whip and whips hip to the ropes. Tommy is on the ropes and Chavo runs at him, but is sent flying over the top rope. Dreamer climbs out of the ring and begins searching for weapons beneath the ring. Dreamer pulls out a kendo stick and cracks Chavo over the head. Chavo falls next to the ring with his head and face near the ring apron.

Tommy gets a stop sign from under the ring and cracks it onto Chavo's back. Chavo screams, but as Tommy goes for another one, he pulls out a fire extinguisher and sprays it in Tommy's face. Tommy is momentarily blinded as Chavo gets out a bin. He goes to hit Dreamer with the bin, but it is stopped mid air, and dreamer kicks Chavo's legs from beneath him, causing him to fall.

He rolls Chavo back into the ring and throws the bin in after him. He whips him against the ropes, but Chavo hits a clothesline on the rebound. Chavo gets the stop sign from before and puts it in the ring. He proceeds to hit the three amigos, with the final one Tommy's back lands on the sign. Chavo goes for the cover, but Dreamer kicks out at 2.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Chavo is holding Dreamer in an armbar when we return. He lets go, and goes and gets a steel chair. He hits Dreamer on the arm with it.

You see, that is the arm that Dreamer uses for the DDT. He'll have trouble getting it locked in if Chavo keeps injuring it like that.

Chavo then opens the chair and puts Dreamer's arm between the seat and the backrest. He goes for an elbow drop but Dreamer manages to get his arm free in time, and Chavo ends up elbowing the chair alone. Dreamer stands up and whips Chavo into the ropes, Chavo tries to hit a hurracanrana on the rebound, but Dreamer catches him and ties him to the tree of woe.

He places the bin next to Chavo's head and goes for the low dropkick. He connects it, then picks up Chavo to hit the Dreamer driver onto the chair. It connects and Dreamer picks up the win.

And now Tommy Dreamer will move on to the next round against Rey Mysterio for a place in the final at Backlash

And after a performance like that, I don't like Rey's chances very much.

All of a sudden Jack Swagger rushes in and hits Tommy Dreamer from behind with the chair that is still in the ring. He then picks him up and hits a gutwrench powerbomb ont the stop sign. The camera focusses on his face as he smiles and the copyright thing comes up int the bottom corner, signifying an end to the match up.
 
A quick note: I haven't written one for a while, as I have been doing revision for my exams. Rock 'n' Roll. Anyway, exams are pretty much over, so the shows will be up more frequently.

Smackdown Friday April 10 Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Boomer sooner folks, this one is going to be hotter than BBQ sauce as the title tournaments progress

That's right tonight we will see The Rated R Superstar up against his love rival Big Show for a place in the semis

And the winner of that match will face the winner when the Samoan bulldozer Umaga faces the Phenom, the Undertaker tonight.

Bret Hart walks out down to the ring.

Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome WWE Hall of Famer, Bret "The Hitman" Hart.

He picks up a microphone and gets into the ring.

It was 33 years ago in this great city where I made my wrestling debut. That happened in my father's wrestling promotion, as I'm sure you all know. We Harts have a long history in this business, and it is time for a new generation to the reigns, which is why I'm here tonight. So I present the new Hart Foundation

The titantron plays as Tyson Kidd, DH Smith and Natalya come down to the ring. They embrace Hart, who then exits the ring with Natalya to watch at ringside as Smith and Kidd get ready in the ring. Jesse and Festus' music hits and they move down to the ring.

Unified Tag Tournament Round 1 Hart Foundation vs. Jesse and Festus

The bell rings and Festus goes apeshit and everyone clears the ring. Eventually, DH Smith goes into the ring, and takes a few hits from Festus, before managing to neutralise the big man. He hits Festus with a belly to back suplex. He tags in Kidd who does a and tags in Kidd who does a springboard elbow drop onto Festus.

He covers Festus for two, and then is thrown off. Festus runs at Kidd and nails him with a shoulder charge. Kidd is now down and Festus picks him up. Festus whips him into the ropes, but Kidd hits him with a spinning heel kick and covers him again for two. Festus breaks out and manages to tag in Jesse. Jesse comes running at Kidd, but Kidd hits him with a dropkick.

Jesse gets up and manages to get Kidd in a headlock, he takes him over to Festus, but Festus falls from the canvas after Kidd manages to hit him with a stiff kick. Kidd goes and tags in Smith, who hits Jesse with a running powerslam, before tagging Kidd back in. Kidd goes locks in the sharpshooter, and Jesse taps.

At ringside, Bret Hart is showing signs of being hugely impressed by the two teams.

The Hitman looks happy with his family, JR.

Natalya whips Eve straight into the corner and then runs into her for a turnbuckle clothesline. Eve falls to the floor and Natalya covers her for two. Eve kicks out and tries to his Natalya with a few fists, but natalya hits her with a snap suplex for two.

Eve gets up and Natalya hits a backbreaker then mounts her and starts throwing fists, Eve manages to turn it round. The referee counts as Natalya's shoulders touch the mat, reaching two twice before she kicks out and powers Eve off. Eve runs at Natalya, who stuns her with a short arm then hits a piledriver for the win.

Bret Hart comes into the ring with a microphone

WWE Title Tournament Round 1 Umaga vs Undertaker

The match up begins with right hands from the Undertaker. He punches Umaga all the way back to the ropes then whips him to the other side. He hits him with a big boot, but Umaga doesn't even go down. Umaga then starts hitting him with his own right hands.

Umaga levels the Undertaker and hits a leg drop. He then picks up the Undertaker and hits him with a headbutt. The Undertaker stays on his feet but he is levelled by a thrust kick. Umaga then goes to the top rope and goes for the diving headbutt, but the Undertaker rolls out of the way and Umaga fails to connect.

Ooohh, nobody home for Umaga.

The Undertaker grabs Umaga's arm and pulls him to his feet. He climbs to the top rope and goes for Old School. Umaga pulls him off and he rolls into the corner. Umaga hits a running hip splash and the Undertaker drops to the ground.

We return to see The Undertaker struggling to his feet, and Umaga getting ready to strike. Umaga tries to get The Undertaker up for a Samoan drop, but the Undertaker acts like a dead weight. Suddenly, he manages to hit a chokeslam and goes for a pin. He gets two, before Umaga manages to throw him off.

The Undertaker regroups and he whips Umaga to the ropes. He hits another Big Boot, and Umaga falls under the ropes, with his head draped off the end of the apron. Undertaker goes to the apron and hits a leg drop on Umaga. He goes into the ring and covers Umaga for the two count. Umaga gets to his feet and The Undertaker runs at him and goes for a running DDT. Umaga throws him off.

Umaga goes to the top rope and hits the diving headutt, which connects this time. He lifts Undertaker up and then tries to hit the samoan spike. The Undertaker grabs the arm and pulls him down into the Hell's Gate. He keeps pulling until Umaga is choked out and his arm drops twice when the referee lifts it, giving the win to the Undertaker.

That was a hard fought win for the dead man there, JR.

Certainly was, I thought the Samoan bulldozer had him beat for a while there Todd.

Well, I'm sure by now you are aware the McMahon siblings seized power of the WWE from Mr McMahon this past Monday on Raw, but lets take a look at what's happened since

A quick recap of what happened on Raw plays, and is followed by a quick recap of what happened at ECW too, with HHH and the McMahons declaring a new era to have begun.

Well folks, we can confirm that Mr McMahon has been released from a local health facility, but he is understandably shaken at the actions of his children and son in law, and he is thinking about his next move at home with wife Linda.

But Mr McMahon would always want the show to go on, and it will do precisely that when we return.

Intercontinental Tournament Round 1 Shelton Benjamin vs Sim Snuka

Sim comes at Benjamin with a few punches and Shelton looks weary on his feet. He then gets put in a headlock by Snuka, who holds him for a while before whipping him into the corner. He gives him a clothesline in the corner before whipping him into the ropes.

He bends forwards anticipating the backbldy drop, but Benjamin leapfrogs straight over him. Benjamin comes bak off the ropes, and hits Snuka with the paydirt for the win.

Wow, a Benjamin pulls that move out of nowhere and gets a huge win over the bigger Sim Snuka

That's right, the conditioning and athleticism of Benjamin showed there and he goes forward into the semi-finals to face Mike Knox, who we saw dominate earlier.

Well, we've seen the athleticism of Shelton, next we'll see the most extreme match in WWE as the ECW tournament continues.

ECW Title Tournament Round 1 Extrreme Rules Match Christian vs William Regal

The match begins with William Regal getting Christian in a hold. He pulls him to the ground and gets him in an armbar. He keeps changing the holds as Christian sporiadically breaks out of each one only to be caught back up each time. He gets to his feet and manages to hit Regal with a dropkick.

He goes out of the ring and gets a chair. He swings for Regal, who ducks and punches Christian in his prone stomach. He then gets the chair, whcih Christian has dropped and strikes him accross the back of the head. Christian goes down, and Regal covers him for two.

Christian kicks out, which prompts Regal to go and get a kendo stick. He hits Christian a few times, but Christian manages to hit him with a drop toe hold when Regal runs at him. Regal falls to the ropes and Christian uses his his swinging kick thing to knock him back in the ring.

Christian then goes to get a table from under the ring as we go to commercial.

COMMERCIAL

He sets it up outside the ring, and goes back into the ring as Regal is getting up. Regal runs at Christian, and hits him with the high knee. He goes for the three count, but Christian just kicks out.

Regal, infuriated, picks up the chair and tries to hit Christian in the Head. Christian rolls out of the way and Regal just misses. Regal dumps the chair and picks up Christian and whips him to the corner. He lifts him to the top rope, and goes to superplex him, but Christian is fighting back. Christian manages to get Regal's arms hooked and leaps from the top rope to the outside of the ring through the table.

My God! Christian has just hit the unprettier through that table. Regal is broken in half!

But Christian may have hurt himself there too

Christian manages to drape his arm across Regal, who is out for the count, and the referee counts to three and declares Christian the winner.

What brutal offence there JR

That's what the ECW title means to these guys, Todd.

We cut to the office again and Vickie is in there. This time, Edge walks in and goes to Vickie.

Vickie, you've got to help me out in my match against the Big Show tonight. I want you to make sure he can't knock me out. I want you to ban him from using closed fists.

I'm sorry, baby, haven't you heard, I'm not the general manager until the draft.

You're useless! Now I'm going to have to come up with a better plan to beat the Big Show. You are a waste of space.

He walks past her and goes to leave the room

Edge stops, but then walks out and closes the door as the camera focuses on a forlorn Vickie Guerrero

WWE Title Match First Round Edge vs Big Show

The Big Show starts to hit Edge with right hands. He begins to squeeze Edge's head, and then picks him up and tosses him across the ring. He goes over to him, picks him up and whips him into the corner and gives him a knife edge chop. He goes to hit Edge with a chokeslam, but Vicke Guerrero appears on the ramp. Big Show is distracted, and lets go of Edge, who breaks free and then manages to hit Big Show with an Inverted DDT. He covers him for two, and completely ignores Vickie, who is staring at him. Edge stamps on the Big Show's head and then locks in the sharpshooter.

Will Show be able to hold on? Find out when we return.

COMMERCIAL

We return to see Big Show just reach the ropes. He is in bad shape and can hardly stand. Edge goes the corner. Vickie shouts to him and he whispers something in her ear. Vickie runs round to the other side of the ring and starts talking to the Big Show he stands up using the ropes as a guide, and turns straight into Edge's spear. Edge pins the Big Show and leaves the ring, he gives Vickie a quick hug and walks up the rope, as she looks unsure and the copyright thing comes up and the show ends.
 
I like this its simple but still feels like it could happen in the real WWE while having intriguing twists and turns. A Bret Hart return is highly unlikely and I can't believe you fired Randy Orton. But other than that keep it up I'll be reading.
 
Right, lengthy match write ups are boring me and not very condusive to speeding up my long term creative plans, so I shall be only doing them at PPVs from now on. Sorry to all those fans of the old "Undertaker whips Shelton to the ropes". In their place will be a summary and an ending.

Diva's Title Round 1 Michelle McCool vs Maria

Synopsis: McCool dominates.

Ending: Maria goes for a hurricanrana but McCool catches her and does the Styles clash thing she does for the win.

WWE Championship Round 1 John Cena vs. Vladimir Kozlov

Synopsis: Cena starts off strong, but is stunted by a headbutt. We go to commercial, and come back with Kozlov in control.

Ending: Kozlov has Cena in a ground hold. Cena manages to deadlift him and put him on his shoulders for an attitude adjustment followed by a pin.

Following the match, Hacksaw Jim Duggan makes his way down to the ring, with the US flag. Cena takes it off him and waves it back and forth, before heading to the back with the stars and stripes. Ezeikel Jackson then comes out

US Title Round 1 Jim Duggan vs Ezeikel Jackson

Synopsis: Jackson squashes Duggan

Ending: Jackson powerbombs Duggan for the pin.

WHC Semi Final HHH vs HBK

Synopsis: HBK is weary and having trouble so HHH dominates early on. Eventually he manages to knock HHH out of the ring and we go to commercial. HBK is completely in control at this point. Weapons play a role as Michaels lays out HHH with a chair.

Finish: Michaels is tuning up the band when Mike Knox appears and smacks him with a chair. He then hits the Knox Out onto the chair, which is followed by a pedigree and a pin.

It's Knox! Knox is the insurance policy!

The match is over but HHH and Knox continue to beat on Michaels with the chair and HHH's sledgehammer. Shane appears and joins in, and he is lfted by Knox and slammed onto Michaels. Knox lifts up Michaels and dumps him out of the ring. HHH continues to hit him with the sledgehammer on the outside and puts him on the announce table, where Shane hits him with the leap of faith. The group then leave the ring. The programme ends with footage of the battered and broken HBK.
 
Very nice job at what you are doing. My only complaint is that some of the times the coloring of the various speakers can become a little confusing. It might be more helpfull if rather than putting it in different colors you also could list the name of the speaker eg.

Very nice work man. Your shows are well written & your promos are solid as well. My only suggestion for you about it is that it might be a bit more helpful if you could list who is cuttin the promo as would put sometimes your readers might not tell who's cuttin a promo or not, but other than that you have done a great job & keep up the good work man.

Synopsis: Mark Henry dominates
Finish: Gabriel gets a bit of offense in and tries his finisher from the second rope, he is caught by Henry into the World's strongest Slam for the win

We go backstage. Todd Grisham is with MVP

Grisham: MVP, you began the month as US Champion, how do you feel that you have had your title removed from you?

MVP: Well, it's a minor hiccough. I'll be champion again come the end of the month, and this little lull will just be forgotton in time. You see, when the tournament begins for MVP, the crowd will be poppin, the others will be droppin, and there'll be no reason for swappin the name palte on the belt because the highest paid wrestler in history, will be the highest paid US Champion in history one more time, and I will hold onto it again.

Grisham: Well there you have it, MVP is ready to regain his US Title, and he will begin to do so when we return.

US Title 1st Round MVP vs Goldust

Synopsis: MVP gets some early offence in, but Goldust gets back into it, eventually MVP gets back into it and hits the ballin elbow.
Finish: After the elbow, MVP gets a two count and then after Goldust gets up he hits him with a spinning capoirera kick for the 3 count.

Stryker: And MVP calls that move the "Viscious Instant Pain, the VIP kick.

Matthews: That move was devastating, I don't think I'd want to face MVP in this tournament

We go backstage and see DJ Gabriel walking around. Katie Lea Burchill is there shaking her head.

Katie Lea: Gabriel, that was a poor show this evening, you're going to have to do better than that if you want to impress a girl like me

Stryker: CM Punk advances to the semi-finals, and after overcoming Kane, I think he may be in the final at Backlash

We come into pyro and a ream of patronising imagery of the UK, like a black cab, a red bus and a phone box. Todd Grisham and Jim Ross are at ringside. Stephanie McMahon is in the centre of the ring.

Steph: As I'm sure you all know, the WWE draft will take place on a three hour special of Raw the day after Backlash. What I'm sure you are all wondering is whether or not the general managers will be changing brands. I can tell you that there will be some surprises in that department. In the mean time, I will be in charge, and any problems can be reported to me.

John Morrison's music hits and he and The Miz walk down to the ring.

Morrison: We have a problem, last week, my self and the Grand Mizard were beaten by your husband and Shawn Michaels, clearly, they beat us, and we appreciate that, but we don't appreciate being held second fiddle to anybody, we're the monarchs of the kingdom of wisdom.

Steph: So you guys want another chance?

Morrison: Yes we do

Steph: Ok, you are in a match in the tag team tournament. Right now.

Tag Team Championship Round 1 Miz and Morrison vs Cryme Tyme

Synopsis: Basic tag match, JTG worked on, hot tag to Shad,

Finish: Shad goes for a high impact move on Morrison, but Miz breaks the pin, JTG dives at The Miz, who tosses him over the top rope, Shad forces Miz out after him, but turns into a springboard enziguri and a defeat

Synopsis: Ezeikel Jackson dominates throughout the matchup, with MVP getting a few offensive moves now and then

Women's Title first round Candice Michelle vs. Nikki Bella

Synopsis: Candice is in the driver's seat throughout and knocks Nikki out of the ring.

Finish: Nikki rolls under the apron, and Candice attempts to follow her. All of a sudden Nikki (actually Brie) appears from the other sied and enters the ring. Candice keeps looking for Nikki beneath the ring, while the referee counts her out.

Tag Team title Colons vs. Ryder and Hawkins

Synopsis: Colons are the better side, dominate throughout
Finish: Primo hits Hawkins with a suicide dive, while Carlito hits the backstabber on Ryder for the win.

Batista is walking backstage. All of a sudden, Mike Knox, Ezeikel Jackson and Mark Henry appear and kick the shit out of him, and leave him battered and bruised

JR: It looks like Stephanie has added those two huge individuals to her insurance policy.

Grisham: It also looks like Batista's return will be short lived. We hope our main event won't be short lived, find out when we return.

COMMERCIAL

World Heavyweight Championship First Round Jeff Hardy vs. Chris Jericho

Synopsis: A very long top quality main event match which trancends two commercial breaks. A series of near falls, reversals and roll ups throughout. Ricky Steamboat appears to watch the match from ringside about half way through

Finish: Jericho hits a lionsault for a two count and leaves the ring frustrated. He leaves the ring and brings a chair back, Steamboat grabs the chair off him when he is by the rope and takes it off him, when he turns around he is hit with a twist of fate and then a swanton bomb for the win.

Jericho rolls out of the ring, and Jeff Hardy stands with his arms raised, Triple H appears and hits him a few times, before CM Punk coems in a makes the save.

Jr: A sign of mutual respect from the semi finalists there.

Knox, Henry and Jackson come to the ring, and nail Punk, but then a limping Batista appears with a stick and clears the ring. The copyright thing appears and the show is over.

Pyro starts the show and we have the stereotypical imagery of London all around the ramp. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler are at ringside

United States Championship match MVP vs Dolph Ziggler

Synopsis: Back and forth with Ziggler using heelish tactics to get in front. MVP changes the momentum and hits the ballin elbow for two

Finish: Ziggler gets up, and walks right into the VIP kick, giving MVP the win and making him the new US Champion.

MVP remains in the ring following his victory and grabs a microphone

MVP: I said I'd get my title back, and I did. Now, I want to be the greatest US champion of all history, and I will be. To prove it, I'm going to defend this title week in week out, whatever show I'm drafted to.

Divas' Title Semi Final Melina vs Michelle McCool

Synopsis: Melina dominates throughout, McCool gets a few cheap shots in

Finish: It looks like Melina is going to win, but McCool whispers something in the referee's ear and kisses him on the cheek. Melina hits her finisher but is given a slow count by the ref and McCool kicks out. Melina is outraged and walks towards the ref. McCool hits a roll up, and the referee fast counts McCool to victory. She blows a kiss as she leaves the ring.

Chris Jericho comes out to the ring, microphone in hand

Jericho: Last week, I was about to beat Jeff Hardy when that coward Steamboat stopped me. I demand that you come down to the ring Steamboat. Once he's there, it's clear its Charlie Haas, and he has Haas-Truth written on his jeans. R-Truth then comes out for real and refers to Haas as Vanilla Ice

Intercontinental Title Tournament Semi-Final Haas-Truth vs R-Truth

Synopsis: They keep hitting each other with identical moves, before R-Truth gets the upper hand

Finish: R-Truth hits the axe kick and picks up the pin.

Cole: Well R-Truth showing that the original is best there and he will go on to fight in the final this Friday when Smackdown returns to the United States.

A highlights package of the week in Europe airs.

WHC Tournament Semi-Final Jeff Hardy vs CM Punk

Synopsis: A really good, long drawn out match, spanning a commercial break, that's back and forth throughout. Both men hit their signature moves for two counts.

Finish: Both men are down after a double clothesline, Ezeikel Jackson, Mark Henry and Mike Knox run in and start beating both of them down, but they rally up and manage to force a retreat as the match ends in a no contest. The two shake hands but HHH appears and nails them both. Jackson, Henry and Knox return and beat down on Punk and Hardy.

Divas' Title match Mickie James vs Maryse

Synopsis: Fairly dull back and forth encounter, a few cheap shots for Maryse
Finish: Mickie hits a DDT on Maryse for the win.

King: I'm sad to see that Maryse won't be featuring anymore in this tournament

Cole: Well the wait for her return won't be too long King - the Divas' title final will be held tomorrow night on ECW, then I'm sure Maryse will challenge for it soon.

Intercontinental Title Semi Final Mike Knox vs. Shelton Benjamin

Synopsis: Benjamin gets on a roll only to be stopped in his tracks by Knox. This process repeats a few times.

Finish: Benjamin, on his fourth period of offense goes to hit pay dirt, but Knox just stays standing and doesn't go down. When Brnjamin gets back up, Knox hits the Knox out.

Cole: Well, it looks like R-Truth will have his hands full next week on Smackdown, when he goes one on one with Mike Knox for the Intercontinental Championship.

King: I'll tell you what, we have some excellent finals lined up: Mickie James vs. Michelle McCool, Knox vs R-Truth

Yeah, and soon we'll find out who will compete for the WWE title, when Edge and The Undertaker face off after these messages

WWE Title Semi-Final Edge vs. Undertaker

Synopsis: Edge gets early offense in, but then the Undertaker takes over and hits his big moves. Edge manages to survive, and gets a bit of offense in himself. The match continus with the momentum shifting over two commercial breaks.

Finish: The Undertaker runs at Edge, who moves out of the way and the referee gets taken out. Undertaker then chokeslams Edge, but Umaga appears and hits the Undertaker from behind. He beats on him, before hitting him with the Samoan Spike. He then does a diving headbutt on him, leaving him out for the count in the centre of the ring.

Cole: Umaga is getting revenge on the Undertaker for his elimination earlier in this competition!

Edge stands and brings the referee back into the room. He lies on the Undertaker and the referee slowly counts to three. Edge makes a speedy getaway and The Undertaker sits up and stares at Umaga as the copyright thing comes up and Raw ends.
 
ECW on Sci-Fi April 21 London, England

The show starts with pyro and stereotypical imagery of the UK. Josh Matthews and Matt Striker are at ringside.

Matthews: Hello and welcome to ECW, we're here in England as finals week continues in the WWE

Striker: And we will be serving you a plethora of wrestling treats tonight including the Divas' title match.

ECW Tournament Semi Final Jack Swagger vs. Christian

Synopsis: Back and forth then Christian brings weapons into the fray and begins to dominate. Swagger turns it around with a few shots of his own.

Finish: Christian restores the balance and puts a bin over Swagger's head. He goes to hit a missile dropkick but Swagger swings the upper part of his body, and hence the bin forwards and knocks him from the air. Swagger then gutwrench powerbombs him for the win.

We're backstage and in Stephanie's office. William Regal walks in.

Regal: I have been informed by my firends in the front office that I have a message for you.

Go on...

It would seem that the board of directors have decreed that as there was no winner in the match between CM Punk and Jeff Hardy, both of them will go on and face your husband at Backlash for the Wolrd Heavyweight Championship

Stephanie looks aghast, as Regal smiles and walks out, relishing his twice a year appearance as a face when Raw is in England.

We go back to ringside where we see Mathews and Striker on screen.

Matthews: Wow, so we're going to see HHH vs Jef Hardy vs CM Punk at Backlash

Striker: Not to mention the tag team title tournament final, the women's title and the ECW final with Jack Swagger facing either Tommy Dreamer or Rey Mysterio and Edge vs. the winner of tonight's main event

Matthews: Edge of course qualified in dubious fashion as Umaga attacked The Undertaker. The two will go one on one as Undertaker looks for revenge against the Samoan bulldozer

Striker: Speaking of revenge, Jericho will try to exact some on Ricky Steamboat, as he feels The Dragon cost him a place in the WWE tournament semi-finals.

Matthews: Backlash certainly sounds incredible, but one match that won't be on the card is the Divas title match, which will be contested later between Mickie James and Michelle McCool. Our broadcast colleague Jack Korpola is backstage with Michelle as she prepares for the match.

We go backstage and Jack Korpola is with Michelle McCool

Korpola: Michelle, you seemed to whipser something in the referee's ear during yourmatch against Melina, what was it you said.

Well, it's none of your business, but just understand that I'm willing to do anything, and I mean anything to get my hands on that title. Now if you excuse me, I have business to attend to.

The Miz walks past, and Michelle whispers something in his ear. She leads him through a door and closes it behind. Jack Korpola looks on, bemused.

Divas' Title Tournament Final Michelle McCool vs. Mickie James

Synopsis: Mickie dominates throughout

Finish: The Miz runs in and distracts Mickie, while McCool goes out and gets the title belt. As the referee is sending Miz away Michelle hits Mickie with the belt and slides it back out of the ring, then when the referee turns around he counts the pinfall and Michelle is the new Divas' Champion.

We're backstage and assorted low card wrestlers are watching a football (soccer) game. Among them is Paul Burchill and Katie Lea

Burchill: I don't understand how anyone watches this thugs game. It is a blight on our nation. I am disgusted by it.

Katie Lea: I don't know, Paul, I think there is something to be said for the fans. The passion they show, is unbelievably... saucy.

Burchill looks irate, all of a sudden DJ Gabriel bursts in, dressed in an England football shirt, and a pair of shorts.

Gabriel: Who are ya? Who are ya? Eng-ger-land, Eng-er-land Eng-er-land

Burchill: What are you doing, you idiot? Gabriel, you are a disgrace.

Gabriel: Not Gabriel, Gaz. Gaz Houlihan, I've given up the dancing and returned to my one true love, watching the footie.

Burchill looks irate, and drags a smitten looking Katie Lea away.

WWE Title Semi Final John Cena vs Matt Hardy

Synopsis: A tight one on one match initially dominated by Hardy, but then Cena takes over.

Finish: Cena keeps momentum and wins cleanly with an attitude adjustment.

Striker: So Cena will go on to face the rated R superstar at Backlash for the WWE title.

Cena raises his hands in victory, when Edge appears from nowhere and spears him. We zoom in on Edge's focussed face as the copyright thing comes up and the show ends.
 
Friday Night Smackdown LIVE! April 24 Detroit, Michigan

The pyro is on signifying the beginning of the show, and Todd Grisham and Jim Ross are at ringside.

WWE Tag Team Tournament Semi Final Miz and Morrison vs. Priceless w/ Ted DiBiase Snr

Synopsis: Back and forth match, with Miz and Morrison playing tweeners
Finish: Morrison is going for a springboard enziguri but DiBiase Snr pulls the middle rope, causing him to fall and then Cody Rhodes hits the cross Rhodes to get the win.

COMMERCIAL

The Million Dollar ManTed DiBiase climbs into the ring with a microphone, along with his son and Cody Rhodes.

DiBiase: You have just seen one minute you will see the best tag team in WWE today beat the Miz and Morrison into the final of the WWE Tag Team title final at Backlash. Now, I have paid a not ubsubstansial fee to guarantee that I will have ringside seats to see my son and Cody beat either the Hart foundation or the Colons into the finals at that event. Which ever it is, it doesn't matter. They are two families that never had two pennies to rub together, I'm sure finding their price won't be too difficult.

The Harts and the Colons run out to the ring and clear house. As Priceless and DiBiase are walking to the back, Tyson Kidd and Carlito pick up microphones.

Carlito: You guys have underestimated our two teams, and that really, really isn't cool.

Kidd: So, what we have to say is this, DiBiase. Why don't you put your money where your mouth is and come down to ringside. If we beat Primo and Carlito, Uncle Bret will be at ringside.

And if we win, our father, Carlos Colon, will be at ringside

DiBiase heads down to ringside as priceless goes to the back and joins the commentary team

WWE Tag Team Title Semi Final The Colons vs. The Hart Foundation

Synopsis: A great back and forth babyface match with some entertaining spots from both sides.
Finish: Carlito is knocked off the canvas by Primo accidentally, who is then hit by a Hart attack for the loss.

Kidd grabs the mic

Kidd: So what do you say DiBiase? Will you be there?

DiBiase picks up the microphone

DiBiase: I'll match your offer, and I tell you what, I'll raise it. I will be at ringside, and Bret Hart will be too, but whichever team loses, their mentor will be banned from all future WWE programming, so savour the moment, Bret Hart fans, as you will never see him again after Saturday.

Grisham: Wow! JR, we have a fantastic final to the Tag Team title match at Backlash: The Hart Foundation with Bret Hart against Priceless with the Million Dollar Man, with the losing manager being barred from all future WWE programming

JR: It's a humdinger alright, but so will The Undertaker's revenge match against Umaga

Grisham: And talking of revenge, Chris Jericho is out to get the man he felt cost him his World Title shot, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat

JR: And the first of those world title matches will see HHH up against Jeff Hardy and CM Punk, who may win the world heavyweight championship without even using his briefcase

Grisham: One man who has used that briefcase on numerous occaisions is Edge, who faces off with John Cena for the WWE Title

JR: Not to mention the Women's title and ECW title finals, which have yet to be decided.

Grisham: And the board of directors have announced that the new General Managers of the brands will be named at Backlash

JR: Well that's at Backlash, but what about tonight? We have the final of the Intercontinental Championship, as Mike Knox takes on R-Truth.

Synopsis: Gail Kim dominates a short one
Finish: Gail Kim hits her boot to the face pull thing, which has been dubbed the kissile.

We go backstag and see HHH and Stephanie in her office

Steph: The board won't tell me who they are installing as General Managers. They have told me that I will be assigned a brand, but they have point blank refused to tell me who the others will be. What with the draft coming up, there's a possibility that our plans will fall apart.

HHH: Steph, don't worry yourself, you'll just have to make sure that you pick me first in the draft. Mike and the Heavies need to be on our brand too. Then, if Shane is on another brand, we can set about total domination of this company. First, lets focus on dominating a brand with me as World Heavyweight Champion, the Heavies as tag champions and Big Mike as Intercontinental Champion. The first step in our plan is comming up next, and hopefully we can move forward.

Intercontiental Title Match R-Truth vs Mike Knox

Synopsis: Knox dominates initially, but R-Truth comes back into it after a commercial break.
Finish: He is firmly on top when the heavies, Mark Henry and Ezeikel Jackson, run down to the ring. As the referee is ushering them to the back. Steph appears and passes Knox a chair, which he hits Truth over the head with before returning the chair to Stephanie who discards it at ringside. Knox pick up Truth and hits the Knox Out to become the new Intercontinental Championship.

WWE Women's Title Semi Final Beth Phoenix vs. Natalya Neidhart

Synopsis: A really good women's match with offense by both ladies. Eventually Neidhart takes control of the match up.
Finish: Neidhart is going for the sharpshooter when a guy dressed in all black comes in in a mask with a heart on it and breaks the hold by kicking Beth Phoenix, causing Natalya to be disqualified. The man in Black then proceeds to push Natalya over before fleeing.

Grisham: So Beth Phoenix will face Gail Kim for the title at Backlash, but more importantly, perhaps, somebody cost Natalya that match deliberately. Who was it? And why would they do such a thing.

ECW Title Semi Final Extreme Rules Match Tommy Dreamer vs Rey Mysterio

Synopsis: Fast lucha libre moves from Mysterio sprinkled with innovative weapons spots by Tommy Dreamer, but he is fundementally outpaced by Mysterio.
Finish: Dreamer lunges at Mysterio with a chair but is hit in the face with a dropkick to the chair. He falls onto the ropes for the 619 and the defeat.

8 Man tag team match John Cena, Jeff Hardy, CM Punk and Undertaker vs Umaga, HHH, Edge and Chris Jericho

Synopsis: Each wrestler gets a decent spot in the match-up with Umaga dominating Jeff for a while until he hot tags Cena.
Finish: Cena and Umaga are legal when Cena hits an Attitude Adjuster, Jericho runs in and hits Cena with a codebreaker, but he is immediately hit by a Go 2 Sleep from Punk, who is then pedigreed by HHH, who is then hit with a twist of fate by Jeff Hardy, who is then speared by Edge. Meanwhile, Cena has managed to tag in Undertaker who comes in and hits Edge with a chokeslam before picking up a now groggy Umaga and hitting a tombstone for the win. The Undertaker stands amongst the carnage as the copyright thing comes up and the show finishes.

Pyro begins the show, Michael Cole, Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are all at ringside

WWE Tag Team Title Hart Foundation w/ Bret Hart vs Priceless w? Ted DiBiase Snr.

Synopsis: Both teams give it their all. At one point, Hart gets DiBiase Snr in the Sharpshooter for about 2 minutes outside the ring until Rhodes makes the save.
Finish: Hart and DiBiase are down after the sharpshooter. Kidd jumps from the turnbuckle to the outside and lands on Rhodes. Smith picks up DiBiase jr for the running powerslam but he knocks the referee down with Ted's head by accident. The guy in black who ruined Natalya's match runs in and hits an enormous moonsault onto the standing DH Smith. He puts DiBiase's arm over Smith and wakes the ref up, who counts for 3 and DiBiase and Rhodes are the new tag team champions. Total Time: 15:50

Bret Hart realises the significance, and receives a standing ovation from the crowd as he waves goodbye to the audience, flanked by Natalya, Tyson Kidd and DH Smith, The masked man gets on the microphone.

Masked Man: That's right, keep on walking. You people have ostracised me, have cast me aside and on Friday I began my revenge. This has nothing to do with the rich man, it has to do with you cutting me out of what I deserve. A piece of the legacy, a piece of the pie. You don't love me, none of you ever did, I was just the broken Hart, the one left out to pasture. Well, not anymore, I'm here and I'm going to make a difference.

Synopsis: A very highly charged match, with each man dominating a long period, first Undertaker then Umaga. Both manage to get in a number of signiture moves in for 2 counts, but nothing manages to put them out for good.
Finish: Undertaker goes to lock in the Devil's gate, but Umaga pulls his arm in before Taker can take him down, and he hits a Samoan spike for the win. Total time 20 minutes 31 seconds

Cole: Oh my God! Umaga has just outwitted the Undertaker and has beaten the deadman here

JR:That was quite the slobber knocker

The ring is darkened. We see ring announcer Tony Chimel standing in the middle of the ring.

Tommy Dreamer comes out and walks to the ring with Tiffany.

Dreamer: My failure to win the tournament only served to hit home to me that I don't have much time left as an active competitor. So, I decided to move upstairs. If I win the brand's top title, whatever that may be, before my contract expires after Extreme Rules, then I will quit my position as general manager, if I don't then I will quit in ring competition and focus all of my efforts on putting the extreme back in ECW.

Ricky Steamboat vs. Chris Jericho

Synopsis: A high paced match that Jericho is in control of, but one where Steamboat manages to counter him on multiple occaisions.

Finish: Jericho puts Steamboat in the walls, but he reverses it into a small package, Jericho reverses it and gets the win. Total Time 9 minutes 22 seconds.

Jericho stands up, and offers Steamboat a hand. Steamboat accepts it, and the two embrace and head backstage together.

JR: It looks like Jericho has finally been saved.

Lawler: And not before time too!

Synopsis: Swagger dominates the match, but Mysterio gets the odd offensive move in here and there.

Finish: Swagger lunges at Mysterio with a chair, who trips him onto the rope for a 619. When he goes for a springboard splash, Swagger swats him with a chair for the pin, but Mysterio reverses the pin and gets the win. 13 minutes 12 seconds

Lilian: Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome the new general manager of Raw...

Stephanie McMahon walks out.

Now, Lilian, I know I'm not the name on the card, but I assure you, I am the new General Manager of Raw, and my assistant will be my brother Shane. So, that's all there is to say, get out of the ring.

World Heavyweight Championship (triple threat) CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy vs Triple H

Synopsis: HHH is taken out early by Hardy and Punk who team up against him and toss him from the ring. Hardy and Punk then work through each other in a back and forth action. HHH arises and beats the other two, less fresh men.

Finish: HHH hits Punk with a pedigree, but is immediately hit by Jeff with a twist of fate. He then goes for a swanton bomb, but Steph pulls out his foot causing him to crash to the apron. The Heavies are at ringside and they hold one of Punk's arms to stop him standing up, as HHH manages to get over to Jeff, pick him up and pedigree him for the victory. Total time 19 minutes 35 seconds

Women's Title Beth Phoenix vs. Gail Kim

Synopsis: Beth dominates from start to finish, but is unable to get the winning move in.

Finish: Beth hits her finisher, but Kim kicks out at two. Eventually Kim gets up and manages to catch a charging Beth off guard with a boot to the head, allowing her to hit the kissile for the win. Total time 5 minutes 21 seconds

We're backstage, and Edge is pacing about, looking for Vickie Guerrero. Eventually, he finds her in tears in a corridor.

Edge: Why are you crying? Why aren't you helping me strategise for my match?

Vickie: Haven't you heard, baby? I haven't got a position as either a General Manager or an assistant.

Edge: Woah! What?You mean like you no longer have any sway in the WWE?

Vickie: No, but at least we have each other

Edge: Ugh, no we don't. Vickie, you disgust me, you are the vilest animal I have ever had the displeasure of knowing, but I saw the oppurtunity to use you to get what I wanted, and it worked. When I met you, I was a mere 4 time World Champion, now I'm a 8 time world champion, but now you're useless to me, I hope I never see you again, get out of my sight.

Vickie: That's it then, I quit the WWE, and I quit being your wife, Edge!

Edge: Good!

WWE Championship Edge vs. John Cena

Synopsis: A match where Cena's momentum builds before being crushed by heelish antics from Edge. He manages to get a five knuckle shuffle in, but Edge also hits a DDT and a Edge-O-Matic.

Finish: Cena lifts Edge over his head to go for an Attitude Adjustment, but Edge pokes his eyes, and wriggles free. As Cena struggles to see, Edge hits him with a spear, and pins him to become the 9 time World Champion. We focus on Edge's face as the copyright thing comes up and Backlash ends. Total Time 30 minutes 56 Seconds
 
Monday Night Raw April 28, New York City

The pyro is going off as the show begins, all Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are at ringside for this, the WWE Draft 2009. A Man in a suit and glasses is standing in the centre of the ring.

Man: Ladies and Gentlemen, I am here to represent the WWE Board of Directors. Tonight, each of the WWE's Superstars, divas and commentators will be drafted to one of the respective WWE brands where they will stay exclsively until next year's draft show. Inactive superstars will not be drafted, but instead assigned brands by the board once they return to action. The General Managers and their assisstants where chosen last night at Backlash. These were as follows: The general manager of ECW is Tommy Dreamer assisted by Tiffany, the general manager of Smackdown is Ric Flair assissted by Theodore Long, and the Raw General Manager is now Stephanie McMahon assissted by Shane, after they rejected our choice.

The draft will work as follows, in a moment, I will invite the General Managers to the ring, where they will pick a champion and their second pick. Throughout the evening there will be a series of one on one matches with the winners getting the first pick in the next round, and the losers getting the final choice. There will be ten matches where this is the case, followed by a triple threat champions match. In the case of the champions match, all three selections from that round will go to the winning brand. Without further ado, allow me to introduce the general managers.

Stephanie McMahon, Ric Flair and Tommy Dreamer walk down to the ring.

Board member: Earlier today Stephanie drew the longest straw and will get the first pick of champions, Ric Flair will get the second pick, and Tommy Dreamer will be third. The order will be reversed for their second round picks. Stephanie, who is to be your brand's champion?

JR: Business has picked up, The Game is coming back to Raw.

Lawler: I just don't know if we'll be here to see it.

Board Member: Which leaves Rey Mysterio, ECW Champion, for the ECW brand. Tommy Dreamer, who do you pick to be your second round choice?

Dreamer: Rey Mysterio is a fantastic aqcuisition for the brand, and I will follow it up with the selection of yet another "extreme" individual, the extreme enigma, Jeff Hardy.

Lawler: The Extreme Enigma Jeff Hardy will be gracing Tuesday Nights!

Board Member:Mr Flair?

Well, I picked Edge, because he's a champion, but someone needs to put him in his place, so I pick... John Cena, Woooooooo!

Stephanie: We choose Chris Jericho.

Chris Jericho's music hits. He is carrying a microphone.

Jericho: I have been saved, and now I have come to save Raw. This horrible, trampy ****e has stolen Raw off somebody, and Y2J is back to give it back to them. You will never eeeeeeeeeeever remember this day, the day that you made a mistake by bringing me to this brand.

Stephanie looks absolutely shocked that Jericho has changed his viewpoint. She holds her head in her hands. Mike Knox, Mark Henry and Ezeikel Jackson appear and they beat Jericho up.

Synopsis: Very close match, each man having bouts of offense in a short match.
Finish: Cena manages to catch Hardy from whisper in the wind and then hits the Attitude Adjustment for the pin.

Board member: So for the third round picks, the order shall be Smackdown, Raw then ECW. Who do you each chose?

Flair: Woooooo Smackdown is going to pick the ultimate superstar, a man who transcends generations, and even transcends life and death, the Undertaker.

Stephanie: Raw is going to pick a man we can trust more than Chris Jericho, The Big Show.

Dreamer: We're going to add a little foreign class to the brand with the Moscow Mauler, Vladimir Kozlov

JR: It looks like Raw is going to be very big, now the Big Show is on the roster.

Lawler: Yeah, and the Deadman is staying at his, uh, spiritual home on Smackdown!

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Vladimir Kozlov vs Big Show

Synopsis: Battle of the Big men. Nobody cares as they power wrestle each other.
Finish: Big Show punches Kozlov, who barely reacts, then headbutts Show followed by a reverse DDT for the win.

Board member: ECW has won, Raw has lost, so Mr Dreamer, can we have your pick please?


Dreamer: We have two fantastic young talents on the brnd in Jeff and Rey, now to add a little experience, I'm taking Kane.

Flair: And I'll have Umaga

JR: From one behemoth to another, but who will Raw pick?

Steph: I want to have the cream of the crop when it comes to young wrestlers so I'll take the all American American Jack Swagger.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Umaga vs Jack Swagger

Synopsis: Really tight back and forth match. Swagger hitting holds and throws, Umaga using brute strength.

Finish: Umaga eventually outpowers Swagger and hits the samoan spike for the win.

Board Member: That was an incredible match, but there could only be one winner, and that winner is Smackdown, so who do you pick?

Flair: We already have one world champion, now we're going to have a guy who can cash in for a shot at one whenever he likes, and that is CM Punk!

Dremaer: ECW was built on hardcore wrestling and high flying wrestlers, so I'm picking Evan Bourne.

Stephanie: We're all about looking after our friends on Raw, so we choose Mike Knox, Intercontinental Champion.

JR: Raw becomes the first brand to have two champions.

Lawler: I knew Stephanie would just pick HHH's cronies.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Kane vs CM Punk

Synopsis: Long match spanning an advert break. Kane largely dominates the match, with Punk getting a few shots in.

Finish: Punk manages to shift momentum and then get Kane up for the GTS and the clean win.

JR: That was quite some win for Punk, but who will be joining him on Smackdown?

Lawler: It looks like we're going to find out: it's the board member and the GMs on the entrance ramp!

Board member: Mr Flair, your pick?

Flair: We need another champion, and we're going to take MVP. He says he wants to face opponents week in week out, and that is what will happen. From now on the US title wil be defended weekly.

Board member: And you, Ms. McMahon?

Steph: Even though I think he's an awful rapper and a worse wrestler, these idiots in the audience eat up R-Truth, so we shall have him on the Raw roster.

Board member: Finally, you Mr Dreamer?

Dreamer: I'd like to continue the international theme by bringing Paul Burchill to the extreme brand.

Board member: Mr Flair, who will be your representitive in the next match?

Flair: I think it's about time for The Undertaker to give the blue brand a win

Stephanie: In that case, R-Truth, this is your baptism of fire.

Undertaker vs R-Truth

Synopsis: The match hardly gets underway when Umaga runs down to the ring.

Finish: Before they even lock up, Umaga is in the ring attacking the Undertaker, giving Undertaker the win by DQ.

COMMERCIAL

Board Member: A highly unusual result there. To avoid accusations of fairplay, ECW will be given the first pick, followed by Smackdown.

Dreamer: We've had the international superstars, we've had the high flyers, now it's time for the hardcore wrestlers, and none is more extreme than yours truly, so I am making myself part of the active roster on ECW.

Flair: We're going to take Christian, and he's going to fight now.

Steph: For reasons similar to the last pick, we'll have Kofi Kingston, and he'll face Christian right now.

Kofi Kingston vs. Christian

Synopsis: Superb high tempo match with large periods of dominance for each men each side of a commercial break.

Finish: Christian is dominating when Kingston goes for a trouble in paradise from nowhere. Christian ducks, but then hits him with an unprettier for the win.

Board Member: A stunning match that has given Smackdown yet another first pick.

Flair: That's because our brand is better, and they say bigger is better, so I'm picking the Great Khali.

JR: Wow! Things couldn't get much bigger, the Great Khali is heading to Smackdown...

Dreamer: Some guy just introduced himself to me, and he seems like he could do with having some sense knocked into him. His name was Dolph Ziggler, I believe.

Steph: I need an athelete, and I'm picking Shelton Benjamin.

Good. The next match will be a champion vs champion match. The winner will get the tag team champions, Priceless, drafted to their brand. ECW will get a free pick now, and the loser will receive a random pick, who will then face ECW's pick. Who do you pick, Mr. Dreamer.

Dreamer: We'll take another guy who needs some sense beaten into him, and that's Brian Kendrick, sorry the Brian Kendrick.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Mike Knox vs MVP

Synopsis: Knox dominates early on, hitting a series of power moves. MVP starts to eek back into it gradually. Commercial break. MVP is throughly in momementum.

Finish: MVP looks like he is going to win, but Mike Knox manages to hit him with a big boot out of the blue for the win.

Smackdown's random superstar is.... Chavo Guerrero. The selection in the next round will be Tag Teams only.

Chavo Guerrero vs Brian Kendrick

Synopsis: High tempo match, but Kendrick is in control from start to finish.
Finish: Kendrick hits the Kendrick after dominating the matchup.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Board member: That gives ECW first choice of tag teams...

Dreamer: We're going to go with The Colons.

Steph: And we're going with Ezeikel Jackson and Mark Henry, The Heavies.

Lawler: Those guys have never even had a tag match together, and now all of HHH's cronies are on Raw. Dispicible.

JR: Steph is certainly keeping it in the family.

Flair: We're going to go with Miz and Morrison

Board member: In the next match, we will see two tag teams pitted together. Each of the picks in this round will be for a WWE Diva.

Priceless vs. Colons

Synopsis: Priceless isolate Primo and beat down on him, he eventually gets his brother in on a hot tag.

Finish: Primo rolls offthe apron, having been hurt by Priceless. Carlito knocks down Ted, but he had slyly tagged in Cody, who sneaks a roll up on Carlito.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Board Member: Well, now time to choose your divas gentlemen and lady.

Lawler: We're going to see where the puppies are going.

Steph: We want another champion, a title that I have held, so we are picking Women's Champion Gail Kim.

Flair: You've got a champ, we've got a champ, Michelle McCool will be on our brand.

Dreamer: It wouldn't be fair to split a family, so I'm choosing Katie Lea Burchill.

Excellent, the next match is a Divas match for anothe pick.

Michelle McCool v Katie Lea

Synopsis: Michelle is losing and Katie Lea is dominating the match early on..

Finish: Michelle pulls Katies hair and gets her in the Styles Clash type move for the win.

Board Member: Who is your final guaranteed pick, Mr Flair?

Flair: We choose Matt Hardy, he has a ruthless streak that may come in use.

Stephanie: We choose Finlay, for exactly the same reason.

Dreamer: You two don't know the meaning of ruthless. We pick Hurricane Helms.

Flair: Apparently you don't know the meaning of useless...

Board member: Gentlemen, please. Up next is our champions triple threat match. The winning brand will get all three picks rom this round, as well as first pick in each subsequent supplemental draft round. The champion who takes the fall will assure the last pick in each round for his brand.

JR: The stakes are high, but which champion will win? Find out, when we return.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Rey Mysterio v Triple H v Edge

Synopsis: A standard triple threat match with people ducking in and out at various intervals. The match spans two commercial breaks. HHH is out of the ring for a long time. Eventually, Steph comes to the ring with Knox, Henry and Jackson. The referee gets taken out and The Heavies and Knox get in the ring and beat down on Rey. Flair and Dreamer run in and clear house, and HHH turns into a spear from Edge.

Finish: Edge goes for the cover, but Rey breaks up the pin. He hurricanranas Edge to the ropes and goes for the 619. He hits it, but as he jumps onto the top rope, HHH shakes the rope sending him crashing into the ring. HHH picks him up for the pedigree and the win.

Stephanie appears on the ramp

Steph: We're going to take all three members of the new Hart foundation as our three picks, and just so you can be sure we have the best brand, log on to wwe.om to see our supplemental picks.

The little copyright thing comes up suggesting the end of the show.

The pyro signifies the beginning the show and ECW's new commentators Todd Grisham and Josh Matthews are sitting at ringside. ECW General Manager Tommy Dreamer is in the middle of the ring, along with his assistant Tiffany.

Dreamer: Hello and welcome to a new era of ECW. Tonight we start taking ECW back, and I will begin by setting up a few matches for this evening. Firstly, our ECW champion Rey Mysterio will face Dolph Ziggler in a non title match. Our main event this evening will be match one of the number one condender elimination series. We will start with a fatal four way, then the loser will be eliminated giving us a triple threat next week and a one on one match on the Tuesday before Judgement Day.

The competitors will be Vladimir Kozlov, Kane, Carlito and Jeff Hardy. It's sure to be a treat.

The Brian Kendrick comes down to the ring and grabs a microphone before entering the ring

Kendrick: Why the hell aren't I in the championship group?

Dreamer: You didn't impress me in the tournament. So, it's not fair for me to put you in when plenty of other guys did better than you and didn't make it

Kendrick: That's because I wasn't in the tournament! I was overlooked. I demand a tournament match. Tonight.

Dreamer: Here's what I'm going to do. Later this evening, you will face off for the newly reinstated cruiserweight title.

Kendrick: Thanks, who is my opponent?

Rey Mysterio vs Dolph Ziggler

Synopsis: Ziggler dominates, but is occasionally hit by impressive counters from Mysterio.
Finish: Ziggler runs at Rey, but he drop toe holds him onto the ropes for the 619.

Grisham: Impressive showing there from Ziggler, but not enough.

We go backstage and we see Katy Lea and Gaz Hoolihan backstage

Katie Lea: I just wish that Paul understood that we're friends, you know.

Hoolihan: Yeah, he just doesn't get me. I love football, he loves rugby, it's as if we're on a different planet.

Paul Burchill shows up, and punches Hoolihan in the face.

Burchill: I thought I told you to leave my sister aloooonee!

Katie Lea: Paul! No, leave him be. Help! Help!

WWE Cruiserweight Championship Brian Kendrick vs The Hurricane

Synopsis: Back and forth action with Kendrick seemingly getting the advantage before Hurricane comes back with unlikely offense.
Finish: Kendrick goes for The Kendrick, but Hurricane breaks free and hits the eye of the hurricane to become the new Cruiserweight champion.


COMMERCIAL BREAK

Kendrick is pacing about furiously backstage and he bumps into Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler: Hi, I'm Dolph Ziggler

Hi, I saw how unlucky you werre tonight, and I totally feel for you. Guys like us should look out for each other. I think we may just be THE Tag team, what do you say?

It's a done deal.

Kozlov vs Kane vs Carlito vs Jeff Hardy

Synopsis: A fast paced match where the people fighting change periodically. Kozlov and Kane have longer periods of dominance.

Finish: Jeff Hardy goes to hit Kozlov with the whisper in the wind, but Kozlov headbutts him straight out of the air, He taunts, but is hit by a backstabber from Carlito. Carlito gets up straight into a chokeslam from Kane, who pins and eliminates him.

Grisham: Looks like its not to be for Carlito

Matthews: No, he is out of the championship race, who will be next? Find out next week.

Friday Night Smackdown 1 May, Long Island, New York

The pyro is on and the show begins, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler are at ringside. New General Manager Ric Flair is standing in the centre of the ring with his assistant Theodore Long.


Flair: Welcome to Smackdown. Wooooooooo! Yeah, we’re going to be the best brand on WWE, and tonight we’re going to see why. I am going to start by shaking things up a little all ready. Teddy, you were originally my head of title matches, but I feel that I’m better suited. You can be head of my new talent inititive. Every week, we will see a new superstar, handpicked by Teddy. If they win, they get the wrestler they beat’s spot on the Smackdown roster. Simple as that, really.

Teddy: Oh, I dig that playa, my first guy to try will be a young, Irish man called Seamus.

Flair: And who will he face?

Teddy: Hacksaw Jim Duggan, playa.

Flair: Very good. Last week, we heard MVP say he’ll defend his US title every week. Well not only will I hold him to that, I’m going to make it statutory for all US champions to have weekly defences. This week he shall face Chavo Guerrero. That match will take place in just a second, but not before I announce our main event: CM Punk vs Edge.

US Championship MVP vs Chavo Guerrero

Synopsis: MVP is mostly in control, but Chavo gets some brief periods of offence.
Finish: MVP hits the ballin elbow for a two. He goes to do a hold on a standing Chavo, but he is thwarted. However, he manages to hit a VIP kick from almost nowhere for the win and to retain.

COMMERCIAL

We return to see Miz and Morrison in the dressing room.

Morrison: We’ve got a match tonight, buddy. Try not to lose this one for us, we wouldn’t want those punks Cryme Tyme to move above us in the standings.

Miz: My fault? It was your fault.

Morrison: Forget it Miz,just bring your A game tonight, the palace of wisdom will weep if we don’t bring the tag titles back to it soon.


Miz and Morrison vs Cryme Tyme

Synopsis: Miz and Morrison dominate throughout with quick tags and double teams
Finish: JTG manages to catch Miz with a stiff kick and sends him into the corner. Morrison tags Miz and manages to knock JTG silly, then he goes for a springboard enziguri, but Miz pulls the ropes to help himself up, forcing Morrison to collapse and JTG to roll him up for the win.

COMMERCIAL

Shamus vs Jim Duggan

Synopsis/Finish: Shamus immediately hits a powerbomb and wins.

Cole: That’s it King! Duggan’s tenure with Smackdown is over, and Shamus’ has just begun.

King: Yeah, and it doesn’t look like it’ll be a pleasant tenure.

We cut to backstage and see Flair and Teddy Long in their office. Ranjin Singh and the Great Khali walk in.

Singh: The Great Khali says that he deserves to have a title shot.

Flair: I can’t offer that, John Cena has been given a shot at Judgement Day, but I promise that you can have the next match against the winner.

Singh: The Great Khali says that he will wait.

COMMERCIAL

John Cena vs Umaga

Synopsis: Standard Cena fare. Cena is losing, starts to get back into it after a commercial.
Finish: Cena is starting to get control, when Umaga flattens him from nowhere. All of a sudden the lights go out and come back on to see Umaga laid out cold. Cena, unsure of what to do, simply pins Umaga and leaves.

COMMERCIAL

Mickie James vs Maryse

Synopsis: Mickie dominates, but has her hair pulled at random intervals.
Finish: Mickie is going for the finish when Maryse sprays hairspray kfrom her tights in Mickie’s eyes to get the DQ defeat.

A highlights package of William Regal is shown, showing the most successful parts of his career. The vignette finishes with: William Regal Smackdown debut, next week.

COMMERCIAL

We’re back in Flair’s office and Christian and Matt Hardy walk in.

Flair: What can I do for you gentlemen?

Chirstian: I want next week’s US title shot.

Matt Hardy: So do I!

Flair: And why are you both here? If you want next week’s title, fight for it, now.

Matt Hardy vs Christian

Synopsis: Back and forth match, with Hardy cheating to get ahead, then Christian catching him.
Finish: Christian is going for the unprettier, but Hardy swings his leg back, getting Christian in the balls before hitting the twist of fate and then pinning him for the win.

COMMERCIAL

Edge vs CM Punk

Synopsis: Edge largely dominates, with Punk getting in some good kicks.
Finish: Edge runs at him for the spear, but CM Punk lifts him and smiles as he puts him in the GTS and then pinning him.

King: Punk should cash in his briefcase now!

Cole: He has just beaten the champ. If he had a title match, he’d still be the holder.

Punk is looking forlorn as Edge scrambles away.

Cole: It looks as if Punk will have to have patience.

King: Yup.
