A Post Is Worth A Thousand Words
Well so far there hasn't been any mentioning of Lashley returning this Sunday, so I think we can rule him out, and we can DEFINITELY rule out any returning former wrestlers like The Rock. Sorry guys, but as much as you want someone like that to return, they aren't going to do things like that without a build up. Look at the build up Jericho's gotten and he's not as big of a star as your Rocks or Bret Harts. Bret won't return to ruin the match for Shawn, the Rock won't return to stop Khali, and Big Show won't come in to win the Royal Rumble or whatever the next suggestion is.
Creative most likely booked this based solely on its comedic value, but what they don't understand is that Hornswoggle running underneath someone's legs for five minutes isn't funny. The only way this will be funny is if they would let Khali beat the living hell out of the guy, cause it'd be fun to see a midget thrown into the 4th row lol. Now, I'm not a fan of Khali in the slightest bit and I wish to high heaven that he'd be fired, but it'd be ridiculous if he loses this match, and if he does, they might as well fire him on the spot cause there's no way the suspension of disbelief will hold up anymore that this guy's threatening. You can't have Khali kick out of powerbombs and chokeslams and everything from the big guns of the company only to be knocked out by Hornswoggle's tadpole splash.
Best possible option: Khali squashes Hornswoggle and gets fired for it both on screen and off screen. Hornswoggle's character is dead, so he gets released as well. Then we get some wrestling on Raw instead of these unfunny comedy segments.
