Superbowl XLIII LD: Steelers vs Cardinals.

Washington was gone, he had to slow down which allowed the defender to catch him. He was GONE, there was no way he was going to be caught if Ben could have done his job.

good QB's dont turn the ball over in crucial situations.. Once at the goal line, and the other at the end of the game. I dont see your point.

Oh bullshit. Every QB throws a costly pick or fumbles to lose a game at some time in their career. Brady got picked off 2 years ago to send the Colts to the Super Bowl. He's not a good quarterbadk?

he did do his job. he threw for 255 yds, 1 TD, 4 scoring drives, and a victory in the SB...

I am not saying they are bad QBs, i am just saying they didnt outplay the opposition if you are turning the ball over 3 times... Look at stats when the team turns the ball over 3 or more times. It isn't pretty.

Ben turned it over too. Just saying.

1 time is less than 3... Just sayin'

Okay, I'm done with you Becker. You first want to nit-pick plays, and the many its turned against you you decide to backtrack and turn it into a whole game scenario where, for the record, Warner STILL dicked on Ben.

You said good QBs don't do it. Brady did it. Therefore according to your logic, he's not a good QB.

We can all agree Brady is an amazing QB, right?

Where was he last year, when the Patriots were about to lose the Super Bowl? On his back, holding on the ball, and crying for his mommy.

Great QBs have bad games. Brett Favre is among the greats, and has thrown interecptions like crazy over his career...

yeah, tuck the ball away or throw it away. Same thing could have been said for Ben during there 4 losses this year. He made crucial mistakes during the game that costs his team and took them out of position to win

Not in the loss to the Giants. We man-handled the whole team...It was beautiful...

i've been saying it for years, you dont have to sack a QB, you have to disrupt their timing. Spags and that defense didnt it last yr, and i was rooting for them all the way. Go find lasts year LD, and some posts in the football thread, or threads randomly throughout the forum.

not really...those interceptions Ben threw weren't a factor... We had a chance to win, and Ben got a little happy footed...

O well, where was your Giants during the game? I can tell you one thing, they werent playing in it...

Can't win every year...We'll be back...

not to sound like a dick but i want to see how your d performs without Spags, and i want to see the Steelers D perform without Lebeau. Dick is gonna retire, and its a shame he'll never make the hall. He is one of the greatest defensive coordinators of all time, and was an excellent player in his own right.

Spags reminds me of Lebeau, hopefully he has more success as a HC though.

Our defense was fine before him, and will be fine after him.

Dick Lebeau should come back for one more year. Going out on top is overrated in my opinion. Just ask Favre...

Sorry, Justin, IC, and Sly...
