Summerslam LD Will Probably Feature a Bunch of Bad "Summerfest" Jokes

This. It's way more fun to mark out with friends without the distraction of the computer.

This is why I'm not around on Raw LD's more often, I have a buddy that's always over to smoke out and watch Raw together. Whenever something neat or big happens (Like the Nexus beatdown that got DBD fired), I'll jump on to see some reactions, but otherwise I look like a tool if I try to be on here and hang out at the same time. I got the guy to sign up here, but he's posted like twice.

I was gonna go to my friends house, but they're REALLY annoying and distracting when it comes to watching PPVs, so i'll be here. :icon_neutral:

Can't be worse that Hardcore Justice. There won't be any Blue Meanie-wannabes.

I can say with certainty that Summerslam will be better than Hardcore Justice.

I don't get the hate for this card. I'm really looking forward to it.

I agree 100%. Summerslam will have to be better than Hardcore Justice was. After all, pretty much every professional wrestling PPV in the history of professional wrestling PPV's (with possibly one exception) has been better than Hardcore Justice. Being better than this abomination is not really setting the bar too high.

I don't get the hate for the card either, I'm really anticipating this one, more so than any other recent PPV. There are so many potential things which could happen to really "stir the pot," even if some of them could happen, it could be very interesting.

And Doc, with just under 4 hours to go, I'll ask you one last time. Will be see Bryan Danielson/Daniel Bryan in any capacity at this PPV? Whether it be a face addition to team RAW, a heel turn back to the Nexus, the mystery leader of Nexus, the mystery GM, involvement with the Miz (such as costing him his MITB title redemption, or challenging him for the US title), or just some promo hyping his imminent return. Do you see any of this happening, or will he not be involved in any capacity whatsoever?

Anyone else feel free to jump in and respond as well.

My heart says yes, but my head says no. I believe that the last member will be either Sheamus, Triple H, or another shock return, and I don't think anything else involving him will happen. I want it to, though.

Read that theory elsewhere about a week ago, and the notion that John Cena must, in his darkest hour, come to Batista and beg for help is all too sweet.

Cue that spotlight for the mega-pop.

Realistic - or semi-realistic - seventh men I would mark out for:

  • Batista
  • Daniel Bryan
  • Evan Bourne (Yes, really - it's the tights)

Anything else would be a letdown.

Most likely it will be Bourne since it appears the Miz doesn't have a match but Batista would be awesome.

I love Evan Bourne. And I'd mark out for those three picks as wel.

I say Vince because he has history with them and it would be a shocker.

I think WWE could really legitimize their youth movement by having the seventh man be a fetus.
