Stupid Spam Rules

I didn't post again because I had no idea what I did wrong. There was nothing abour reading the rules, nothing about what would have kept it from being spam, nothing at all. No warning either, just a straight infraction. That's what made me aprehensive abotu posting again. I suppose you could call that fear.

Jake did help me one one, I pm'ed about it, And he explained why he had given it, And how I could have made it better.

I was VERY luckly not to be banned, I'm not sure if it was a couple of day's, Before, Or after the first infraction up, Sam gave me a warning, He said he didnt want to because I had anwsered the thread as he would have done, But it was still against the rules, So instead of a third infraction I got a warning.

Very good indeed then.

And Sly, I didn't post because no one ever told me what I did wrong.

This is a big part of what got me to post more. Even then, I stayed in the Bar Room more, so I could work on the quality of my posts before going back into the non-spam sections. It wasn't until around Christmas that my post count started to grow.

That's what happened to me. I almost left because I thought every post I was going to give would have been penalized for a reason I didn't know.

People shouldn't be apprehensive about posting.

The Staff has done a much better job at giving warnings than infractions, a definite plus. I think Staff does a good job, usually, of explaining warnings and infractions. But, there still exists that "fear" of posting.

With the relaxed spam rule, hopefully that has gone away.

It's not the spam rule that would have fixed it for me. As you and I and others have said, it's the explanations. That definitely would have gotten me posting again.

Having great poster's is what has given this forum a great name, Great poster's have formed because of the great rules, Great rules, because of great staff.

What i'm getting at is, It aint broke, Dont fix it.

If the "fear of posting" is the reaosn behind so many posters becoming quality posters, why change it? Changing the rules is just babying them. I agree with Spunky. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. WZ got it's name because of the great posters, who became great posters because of the great staff enforcing the great rules.

That post you were infracted for would NEVER be infracted under the current guidelines. Reading over it now, I think it's ridiculous that it was infracted then.

Same. Though the fear of a post being considered spam would still probably have stayed with me.

It was indeed. I haven't looked at that in awhile.

Wow. Don't think I'd have given it an infraction either. I didn't remember putting that last bit in there.

I'm sure there's a point I can make here...so, if you see it, make it for me.

I have to get some sleep.

Same, By then admin, Y 2 Jake.

Yeah same. When I got infracted, I didn't even know what an Infraction was :lmao: so I just saw it as just another red rep in my User CP. Then I stopped posting for a while and waiting till they expired.

Then I came back for a month and improved, but suddenly my computer wouldn't let me sign in for a few weeks, so I just didn't bother with Wrestlezone anymore.

Then for some unknown reason, I was bored one day and I managed to log in, and haven't stopped posting ever since. So my first few months of WZ posting were absolute hell.

Can you post it for all to see? I'm bored, so I want to throw my (worthless) opinion at something.

Completely forgot about this.

On the topic of what was your greatest Raw moment.

Where to begin? In no particular order

HHH return- Just the pop that happened was second to only a andful ever.

Undertaker/Steph wedding. We all knew austin was coming in like the cavalry but it was riveting nonetheless.

HHH and Austin get interrupted by BOD- The two man power trip looked un freaking stoppable and the fire goes off. I remember that in 2001 and marking out like crazy.

Foley wins the title- Not because of the change but because of Austin. Him just coming out there knocking the hell out of rock and throwing the hat at vince and shane was amazing.

Beer/milk trucks-Does this need explaining?

HBK/Shelton-That kick was so sweet. Only time i've ever jumped out of my chair during a match.

My all time fav though is steph being announced as the alliance owner. the whole invasion storyline was amazing and the night could've ended with ecw being named as the 3rd brand. But the alliance forming and steph as the owner (in that pink dress) was perfect.

I don't see a problem with that post. I know lists were/are a no-no, but sometimes they do the trick, with some explanation.
