I love it how the people who are "all for the new Spam rule" are mainly the ones who hardly post non spam. I might post it, if I'm not busy.
No offense taken, and I know it looks like excuses, but they're not. For most of the threads in the general or old school sections, I can't post as much, because I simply don't remember most of it. I stopped watching after the Invasion, and didn't start again until a little before Hassan debuted. Before the Invasion, I just don't remember many angles or storylines. Just wrestlers and who I liked. For the current stuff, I can't have an opinion on stuff I'm not watching. Hopefully, that'll be changing soon.

And I find it ironic the majority of the people bitching about it, do so in the spam areas, while at the same time not posting in the non-spam sections.
And, I post plenty in the non spam sections.
There's only so much I can say about Kozlov without repeating myself 6 times over. I started a thread for Kozlov, and why I think he should adopt the Torture Rack as a finisher. It did well. Within the last 2 weeks, there's been a number of threads on him, and a few more on the Torture Rack, and most explain why Kozlov would be perfect for it. The thread itself isn't a duplicate, but it all says the same thing.
But in the long run, It has made me a better poster. This is my point, We was getting better posters, And crapper poster's were becoming good through the older rules, Gegarin(SP?) is a good example of this. Hell even Sparky is.
You became a better poster, not because of fear, but because you were around other good posters.
The same can happen to the new posters, only without the fear of posting that you had.
Spunky wasn't the only one. I got a spam warning on my 2nd post, and didn't post again for a month.

I was infracted on my second post. Didn't say anything again for a month. I turned out ok.
And, the similarities continue...
That's rather odd, I just posted a thread, but yet I'm complaining at the same time. I'm one of a kind
I partially agree with this. I got two spam infractions and pretty much turned me off from posting for a couple of months. When i finally decided to start posting again, i had lurked around for so long reading the posts of the regulars that i had a rough idea of how to post with out it being considered spam. Though thanks to the fear of my post being considered spam i would triple check my non spam posts to make sure everything sounds correct and gets my point across. Still do actually.

May sound ridiculous, But I got 2 infraction's, In my first 4 posts. So I didnt post again until they were both up, because I knew if I got one more, I'd be banned.
This is what I did, No matter when I log on to the site, The first place I check is the wrestling sections, I was lurking, And still reading everything, And because of that I was able to construct a better post than before.
My 2nd post got me a spam warning, and then after waiting a month, I got an infraction within a few posts, so I watched my posts and what I said for a while, and then they expired. Shortly after that, the spam rules changed, and I started this thread
I must've gotten lucky. The warning was from IC25, and the infraction came from KB, but at least he added that I needed to be sure to add more to my posts.

Exactly. It IS ridiculous. But, apparently, that's the way some people want it.
And see, forums should be enjoyable, not to be feared.

I got one by Jake and Pete. Jake didn't post anything helpful in the infraction he gave me because the post was that bad
.Definitely. The warning was bad, because it was straight from an admin on my 2nd post. The other one helped, in part because of the comment, and in part because of the post that got me the infraction.
I quoted something (I believe from you), and added a line or two of my own opinion to it, and though it was enough, because it explained why I agreed with the quote. Getting the infraction, with the note, let me know what I needed to make a quality post, not just a post that fit within the rules.
