We do have a lot of work and for the people that infract the most it's beginning to keep us from doing regular posting at times.

I never thought of this as a side effect, but I see how that could happen, and that sucks. The moderators should be creating discussion, as much as moderating it, and this definitely seems like it's becoming "All work and n play".

I can't help if people post rather lame topics.

Me neither. I can't start as many threads as most posters, because I watch little, if any, wrestling on TV.

Ya know that might have something to do with the fact that all the regulars who used to make such quality posts spend more time in here whining and bitching about the new spam rules instead of making the quality post they claim were there before

It's a lot easier to write a good post, when there's something good to debate.

The thread topics are fine. Some of the posts in them aren't. That can't be all attributed to the new spam rules. Some of the new posters that are here since the advertising picked up and since the Road to WM began are simply terrible posters with low intelligence levels. There's good ones out there, but they're outnumbered.

I agree that not all of the new posters are bad, but they get suffocated by the crappiness of so many others.

Oh COME ON. Just dance.

No. No dancing. :disappointed:

If you're just skimming the post instead of actually reading them, then how the hell can you know if they are shit or quality posts, read the whole posts, they're short so it's not like it's gonna take you long, as opposed to reading one of Will's 15 page novels on a subject

I said i've been skimming through, And usually just read post's by member's that I recognize as being a decent poster, That's after going through about 25 thread's full of crap, That's how.

This, mixed with the little amount of wrestling I get to watch, is why I'm bascially a barfly right now. I've been posting in the NWS sections, but can't find too much worth posting in, in the Wrestling sections...I'm hoping that with my new schedule, I can watch a little more, and be able to start some better threads, or at least save the crappy ones that are here.

I tivo it all, Raw, SD!, ECW, TNA, And I watch it all in one go, But why change my habit's because someone think's I should be post more wrestling?

I made a few posts yesterday, Because I wanted to, But it's getting to the point were I'm expected to do so, And frowned upon if I dont.

Basically, I'm pissed of at people saying "they should post more non-spam", But also over the fact, That because "in my opinion" there is a few more poster's on the forum, That a couple of weeks ago would more than likely be infracted/banned/prisoned.

Seriously, why do you come on here for? All you do is bitch about everything, and you're just so goddamn negative.

Well, on the weekend I either can't be bothered making Wrestling posts or I don't go on the Computer much at all.

And I bitch AND post wrestling.

Justin only bitches.
Regardless of whether it's true Justin doesn't contribute anything, it doesn't change the fact that he's right. What's stopping those posters who were supposedly making such high quality posts before from doing the same now? Absolutely nothing.

Besides that there used to be something worth debating, you're right. Not every post is the start of a thread. 99% of them are replies, and there's little worth replying to these days. This is the biggest time of the year for wrestling, and it's hard to find anything worth posting...

Well, nothing is stopping them and that's not what I was really complaining about. I said the overall quality of the topics aren't that great. And like I said before, I can't help if people post topics that aren't interesting.

You mean, you don't have ANY opinion on ANY subject, unless you read what other people's opinions are?

When asked what you think should happen with Steve Austin at Wrestlemania, you have NO opinion, unless someone gives you one? And THAT'S the high quality posting we're missing out on?

I call bullshit.

Then you need to blame the people who were posting the "interesting" topics before and are not doing it now. Or you need to post an interesting topic.

Is there some rule on WZ that I'm not aware of that says only "X" amount of threads can be created a day?

Most of them are like "What's your opinion on Vladimir Kozlov". I just don't find them interesting. It's somebody's total opinion on a superstar and nothing more. If I could think of an interesting topic, I would post it, if I think it might not get many hits (which I think my idea probably won't), I simply won't post it.

Rusty be nice. I mean, Sly starts more quality wrestling threads in nonspam areas than anyone. Why just last week one of his......no that was someone else.

I have my own opinions, but I don't get to watch a lot of WWE TV. I get most of my updates from the forums, and since the quality has dropped (in my opinion), it's harder for me to get what's going on in the WWE world.

I have a change in my work schedule coming up, and I'll be able to watch more, and hopefully post some more in those sections.

That has nothing to do with anything I said.

The "Kozlov" thread should be IN ADDITION TO the threads you previously found interesting. If you used to find certain threadstarters interesting, then you need to complain to them about not starting threads. All of these threads you're complaining about are started by people rather new to the forum, not OLD threadstarters changing their threadstarting ways.

As far as your thread, who cares if it gets hits? Post it anyways. If it doesn't get hits, who cares?

I agree with you on the quality thing, But this is why i'm also pissed off. I'm sure Justin is here to blow off steam, How he does it is no fucking business of mine, Your's, Or any fuckers, And you should'nt be cussing him because he doesnt post wrestling more.

Now to the original topic...

I'll admit that I was shy for a long time about post wrestling because of a couple of infraction's I got for spamming, Because I supposedly didnt explain fully what I meant, Now they wouldnt have got a second look.

*Checks to see last time Sly bitched about number of quality wrestling threads...*

I'm sorry, Klunker, did you have a point?

Without meaning disrespect (truly) basically what I read was excuses. You mean you can't give an opinion on Austin at WM, whether Chyna is worthy of Hall of Fame, Underappreciated Workers, etc., without reading posts first?

I don't believe that.

I'd have to agree with this. I've started a bunch of threads, and 8 out of 10 go nowhere.

Part of the problem I'm seeing with newer threads, is that they're dupes, without being dupes. Umaga and Kozlov are not as popular as the number of threads they're getting.

Simply stating I find it ironic that you're telling someone else to go start a therad.
