Stupid Spam Rules

It's responses like this one that are the worst. This guy is on pace to have more red rep than Coco ever did. Seriously...I tried to intelligently bury the guy, but he did it all by himself by choosing ignorance.

I saw it, and wanted to red rep him, but I need to wait. I think I red repped him recently too, for being a general ass.

I red repped him for that little comment.

Becker is my hero <3 :lmao:

So should the entire forum. I proved his Cena-bashing as nothing but blind hate, yet he still continues. Worst post of all time.

Finally! Someone agrees with me! We need to start a Red Rep Coalition, and use it only against dumbasses like these.

The only way that I can reach my pleasure plateau is through administering red rep to others.

Weird, but that works.

Sly, this is not a personal attack on you, just the new spam rules.
Can't it be both? ;)

After all, I've been one trying to get this spam thing changed for over a year now.
So, for the sake of more traffic...where are we on more lenient rules for sigs?
This forum already has pretty lenient rules on sigs, more lenient than I want. Just saying.

Also, when are the new avatars coming?
When a server admin fixes the current ones and uploads more. We have no control over that.

That's one of the things bothering me also. The "no-thinking-allowed" threads are taking off, but the threads that should generate excellent discussion, are being ignored.

I don't mind posting in stupid threads, but at least spread it around a little.

Basically, the IQ of WZ is dropping with every noob post.
It's to be expected at first. The thing that drives people in is the current wrestling scene. After they get tired of talking about that (and they will), then they will branch out into other sections of the forum.

Trust me on this.

I know it seems that way, but it really isn't. If I thought you were a bad mod, or bad poster, I'd tell you. I'm just at a disagreement with the current spam rules.

I've said before, that I love the fact there's a ton of new posters. I know that ultimately, the cream will rise to the top, and a few bad seeds, and a few crappy posters, will either stop coming, or will get banned for whatever reason.

In defense of red-repping them, I'm hoping that it will improve the overall content of their posts, so they don't have to leave, and so discussion is more quickly improved. I'd rather log off because I need to do something important, then log off in hopes of having something to talk about in a few hours, when I sign back on.

TBH, there are many threads that you have created and stuck in the bar room that could've gone in the Music, & Movie/TV sections, where posters would have to think more and elaborate more on there posts

I know I've started a few that have the ability to go elsewhere, but I started a bunch of threads in other sections that went nowhere, so I was trying to keep it simple, before expanding my ideas and placing them elsewhere.

The other night, when I went on some odd thread-starting and posting spree, I was truly just bored, and I didn't have any ideas worthy of going elsewhere, so the poor Bar Room beared the brunt of it. The surprising thing is, they actually did well.

Part of the problem, as far as wrestling at least, was that I was rarely able to watch any wrestling sue to my work schedule. This week starts a new schedule for me, so I'll be watching more regularly then in the past...

Yes they have. The new rules are as follows: if you make a point that's on topic and you support your point well, length is of no consequence.

I remember the thread asking us if we wanted the spam rules toned down. I agreed to it thinking it will only minimize how much we have to post by a bit, but just one sentence allowed? That's ridiculous. I am sure anyone can come up with at least 4 sentences per topic.

If you've read the entire thread, then you know that was my argument. Most of my non-spam posts start out as 2, or 3, sentences of an idea, and then I run with it.

I read the thread, but had no idea what the fuck you were talking about. I been noticing these one sentence posts since yesterday and assumed they would get removed or something. At least now i know what you were referring to this whole time.

I wasn't being an ass...Sorry if it sounded that way.

When I first saw one or two, I knew something was up. I didn't think it would be the way it is though...My plan is to red rep the crappy ones, and hopefully entice better discussion from them...

If only you would post porn or argue flame a mod or something..... Hmmm hey deadman i have a sig for you...
