I'm saying that the reason people don't talk wrestling has nothing to do with the quality of the WWE, which is what they've claimed for YEARS now.
There are many reasons why people quit in the wrestling sections. They get spoilers, and no longer find wrestling interesting. They get too much wrestling and get burned out. They learn how wrestling works, and it's no longer magic to them. They talk on forums, and see the same thread 50 times in one year. They get older, and don't find wrestling as entertaining. They find friends on the forum, and like talking to them about things other than wrestling. There are a lot of reasons that people quit talking in wrestling sections.
However, the one reason that people DON'T quit talking about wrestling is due to the actual quality of wrestling declining. And I know this, because the quality of wrestling has been the same, if not better, over the last several years than it was before that. So, when I saw people back in '04 and '05 say that the reason they don't like talking wrestling is because of a lack of quality, and then I see people 5 years later saying the same thing, I just laugh at them, because they are being completely short-sighted.
It's not the quality of wrestling that makes most people quit posting wrestling.
You joined these forums November 11, 2008. Looking back at your history, your first few months here, you posted a lot in the wrestling forums. You can't tell me, that from March until now, a whole 4 months, wrestling has just gotten so bad that you no longer have a desire to post there. That's absurd. The reason is most likely one of the other things I've posted above.
The answer is way beyond you. Obviously.
I'm not trying to be deliberately cryptic, but I'm just curious as to if anyone actually knows the answer.
