Do we want to replace his mod positions in the Music, Movies, and Television forums? We placed a moderator in charge of each section to "own" the section and drive discussion. It's worked amazingly well with jmt in the MMA forum and FTS in the Cigar Lounge. It had worked well with 48.7 in sports before he stepped down.

I am thinking tdigle for Movies and TV (that's my suggestion, I will take other nominations) and either Ty Burna or D-Man for music.

I would like each G-Mod and Admin to answer the following:

1. Do you want to see these positions replaced to continue driving discussion in those sections?

2. If so, whom would you like to see fill the spots?

3. Is your decision affected by the fact that NoFate and Shadowmancer may not be mods much longer?

I don't extra mods are necessary by any means, but if so there are two main people I'd recommend, those being NSL and TDigs.

Do we really need separate Music and Movies/TV mods? If so, yeah, Ty wouldn't be a bad choice, but I'd say NSL. I know D-Man is your friend and all IC, but there are quite a few more deserving people for this spot right now.

I think discussion is fine in those sections. Could be better, but it's not bad or anything. I really don't think we need a new mod though.

If we do, I'd say NSL. TDigs would be a good choice, but he's on alot less frequently these days.

Honestly both of them don't do anything anymore, so I don't see the point in either being a mod still.

If everyone thinks we need a new mod for those sections though, I'd recommend NSL.

I know D-Man is your friend and all IC, but there are quite a few more deserving people for this spot right now.

I stopped as soon as I read this because I want to address this separately. And I am using capital letters AND boldfaces print to make it quite clear.

IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM DOES MY PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH D-MAN HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING THAT GOES ON IN THE BOARD ROOM, EVER.

Business is business. If nothing else, you all have come to know me as someone who is quite good at separating the two. But if you listed the 10 strongest overall posters on the boards right now, he'd be on every list. My suggesting him for that spot isn't a ringing endorsement, it's a brainstorm because he bring a lot of passion and knowledge of music to the table.

I'll kindly ask that all of you please never suggest that any of my stances on D-Man are personally feuled when it comes to staff. Otherwise...

Regarding replacements or whatever you would call them for Shadow and/or NoFate, since they don't really do anything, why replace them? We're losing nothing (in regards to their contributions, not them as posters mind you), so why would we need something new?

As for replacing the spots in those areas, I really don't think we need to, but if the change is made it's not a problem at all. With the sitcom tournament starting up relatively soon, TV will take care of itself for the most part and Movies are fine as is I think. As for music, it's rarely posted in anyway even with mods in there, so that one would be fine with either.

As for choices, I'd also like to see NSL. He's probably the most consistent poster here without a spot off the top of my head. Since those sections rarely do much anyway, why not throw him in there and see what he can do with them? We did it with Lee in Video Games and it's worked pretty well. At worst we find out NSL is a bad choice and we can move on.

One question - didn't people recently state they wanted NSL to be a Wrestling Mod?

That was KB's idea. I'd think Music/Movies would be more his style.

But, like KB said before, we don't really need anyone new.
