WWE has released (so far) some developmental talent, Balls Mahoney, and Dave Taylor.

Some might be coming soon, as well.

Your thoughts?

Personally, I don't really care lol. The developmental guy, no clue who he is, so I don't know what I'm missing out on. Taylor hasn't even existed, basically, and Mahoney was terrible and just a glorified Hacksaw-comedy guy anyway.

Eh I don't think these guys matter. I think all original ECW wrestlers that are currently on the rosters have nothing to do these days. None of this matter though, they're getting rid of guys and hiring more guys such as "bodyguards" who probably will be just as useless in the long run (though we'll have to see).

I can see them getting rid of more than whats announced so far. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Drew Macintyre, what the hell has that guy done anyways?! I also see one of the Giants leaving, maybe V or Snitzky, but thats just wishful thinking. A few more Develomentals and maybe one or two roster cuts, thats aboot it...

Not Surprised by Mahoney and Taylor.I expect alot of development talent to be relased.Look at the FCW roster-Its packed to the brim. Strange thing is There Relasing alot when those superstars could go to ECW and build up the numbers-Talyor,If fiven a decent gimmick,could have given the young guys experience.Mahoney-well he was barely over and was a horrible worker-Did the Kelly Kelly angle even finish?I think not.Wise move on Mahoney,Taylor could have filled a different role(Trainer for example)

Yeah, they could've sent Taylor down to FCW or something.

McIntyre, I completely agree, he's either becoming a legit FCW guy or being fired. He's not coming back to the actual roster.

Even if its not by "firing", I think Torrie and Candice won't be coming back either due to their injuries.

Another name to throw into the hat, who may possibly be released, but its just blind speculation at this point in the game....Charlie Haas. I mean, this guy can't even find himself on Heat sometimes.

What about Helms? If his injury is still the same it was before, I don't see them keeping him too long. He's been out for such a long time that I'm surprised they haven't done it already...unless there's some sort of reassurance that, in time, he'll be "good as news", and they don't want him jumping ship over to TNA.

I don't think we have to worry about any shocking realeses to occur. The WWE is just getting rid of the nobodys, the guys we could care less about. Superstars I'd like to be released are. . .

Snitsky: WWE must have realised by now that no one gives a damn about him, he's a big ugly waste of space and is almost as talentless as Khali.

Boogeyman: WWE needs to get rid of childish humour characters, I can't stand them they take up too much air time besides, Boogeyman has been out for a while, most people have forgotten about him.

Val Venis: What a waste of a career, he's a decent wrestler but he's been jobbing for so long now that there's just no way out of it.

Chuck Palumbo: Uhm... how many times can this guy keep coming back?! I'm not intrested in him in the slightest. Release him . . . FOR GOOD!!

Hornswoggle: Uhhh . . . . WWE is no place for a leprachaun. Need I say more ? ( He won't be released though.)

Nunzio: Another jobber that no one cares about.

Big Daddy V: How many big men do you need ? Khali, Big Show, Mark Henry etc. Big Vis will just be overshadowed now that Big Show is back. Release him.

Charlie Haas: Good Wrestler but he's nothing without Shelton.

Have to agree with Charlie Haas. Great wrestler but not even a mask can make me enjoy his matches. Without Shelton he's nothing.

I hope Drew mcIntyre doesnt go, because I kind of expected him to be in Regal's stable, along with the higlanders and Burchill, but thats probably just wishful thinking on my part. So if he's going, then you may as well write off most of FCW, including Seamus O Shaughnessy (sp?), a big guy with charisma who could def. have done well on the main roster, especially ECW.

I think Nuzio's time is up, Big Daddy V wont be able to lose the weight in time, and as much as I rate Kenny Dykstra, I think he could be gone too. I have to agree with 'The Wabbit', they couldve used FCW to build the ECW roster up, but they only have an hour long show so there's little scope to cram more in to that hour.

Boogeyman will possibly go, merchandise sales wont drop too much!

Jim Duggan. Please go. Please.

There is no point keeping them on the pay roll if neither has anything to offer, or isn't on TYV.

Balls had talent. 10 years ago. But now he's overweight and and ugly. There is nothing WWE can really do with him now.

Same with Dave Taylor. He's in his 50's. But he looks older, has no personality, and is English. If WWE aren't going to push somebody like Paul Brichill. Then they're not going to push the ancient Taylor. He too was good 10 years ago. But now he walks like a shorter Kevin Nash. He's a waste of money.

I'm not shocked that Taylor and Balls were let go. Neither one of them have been on TV in months, and they really didn't make a big impact while they were on TV. Taylor was as good as gone as soon as Regal got drafted to Raw, and Balls was never that great to begin with. He was only over because he was an ECW Original, but no one seems to really care about them anymore. It's obvious that WWE will be trimming the fat in the next couple of weeks, and let's hope they cut the rosters down considerably. They have WAY too many people.

Im surprised Taylor was released and ntot just sent down to FCW as a trainer. Hes proven in the past how good he is at training guys (McGuinnes, CM Punk etc)

I dont care that hes gone off Smackdown, it was to be expected since hes not that great in the ring now but hed still be useful as a trainer imo.

i think that Charlie Hass, The Boogeyman, Stevie Richards, Funaki, Kenny Dykstra, The Highlanders, and Deuce and Domino will all be released, because no one cares about any of these guys anymore, and we rarely see any of them as it is. I believe that Hacksaw and Dreamer (and by proxy Colin Delaney) will leave by means of retirement storylines within a few months.

i think that Charlie Hass

I'm not too sure. Haas certainly isn't going to get any type of push, however hes talented and very technical in the ring. For that reason, he may be kept around with minimum wage pay to help train the new guys that come through HeAT.

The Boogeyman

While I'd love to see him released, I read a recent rumor that said he was out with a knee injury. And now hes still out, because hes getting his teeth repaired for his return. So its very likely he'll return with a new gimmick, no longer the Boogeyman.

With that being said, I doubt hes getting cut. Although it still might happen.

Stevie Richards

Stevie has been with the company longer than most people think. Hes a great vet for the backstage lockerroom in E.C.W. and he still has talent. Most people don't care much for him, but I don't know why they'd cut him when he just returned with a mild push. (the push seems to have ended though, so you never know)

Funaki

Funaki WILL NOT be cut. His name appears on every piece of paper with the words "possible losses" and it never happens. Hes a big name in Japan, surprisingly, and brings in that demographic.

Kenny Dykstra

I'm torn on this. Dykstra is FILLED with tons of talent and I wish they WOULD cut him so he can make W.W.E. pay by becoming a huge X-Division wrestler in T.N.A.

For that very reason, its unlikely they're release him.. but instead continue to mindlessly use and bury him.

The Highlanders

I thought they already were cut. The only reason they're still around for the time being is due to them being in rebuild mode for the Tag Team division. Look for them to be on the next SDvRaw game.. then get cut right before the game comes out.

Deuce and Domino

DnD will most definately NOT be cut and you're absurd to assume otherwise. This is quite possibly the best natural Tag Team in the company today, that wasn't just slapped together. (Rhodes/Holly, Miz/Morrison) DnD are adding on Maryse as a new addition, so obviously they aren't leaving, but instead likely getting another Tag title run.

I hate when people speak for me. When you use the phrase "no one" you speak on behalf of "everyone." And I, for one, most certainly do NOT want to see Deuce, Domino, Kenny, or Stevie get cut. I enjoy watching all four guys.

Hacksaw will never retire, or be cut. He'll just randomly leave one day.. and noone will know. Much like he did in the past with the W.W.F., and W.C.W.. Dreamer will never be released either, hes a backstage help in E.C.W. and I believe a Road Agent. They won't run him in a retirement angle so close to Flair either. He'll just disappear from television, or if anything lose a "loser leaves" match. (not a retirement match though)

Delaney is still in the middle of his outrageously HUGE push, are you instant? Delaney will end up being the guy to defeat Kane and take the E.C.W. Championship most likely by One Night Stand, or SummerSlam.

Would make sense for them to cut guys who they have not pushed in years. Guys like Hass for example have tons of talent but will never be used in the right way. They should really only cut the fat so to speak if they finally end the brand spilt. If not I guess they could keep some of these guys around as filler on the card.

Torrie Wilson just got wished the best on all her future endeavors. Probably becuase of the back issues, so its probably for her best. She will do just fine as a model, or something of the sort, she is a very pretty girl. She was absolute shit in the ring, so we wont miss her.

Agreed. Why was she still in WWE anyway? Stacy has moved on and is doing commercials for Dick's Sporting Goods with world class athletes. Torrie should and hopefully can do the same.

Does anyone see any top WWE guys jumping to TNA? I think now is a better time than ever. WWE is on the verge of massive suckdom, so the wrestlers don't have a WHOLE lot to lose.

The Torrie one was a no-brainer. Candice is still up in the air with her injury.

Frankly, I don't know how Torrie lasted this long in the first place. As Norcal said above, she was garbage in the ring. Personally, I don't think she's the most attractive Diva, either, so I could never understand why her Playboys were such big deals and why she was searched so frequently on Yahoo and such. Is she hot? Yeah. Would I do her? Absolutely. Is she attractive enough to be a constantly searched chick? I don't think so lol.

She should definitely just focus on modeling or not botching her line of clothes as badly as her clotheslines were botched...lol.

I am almost proud of the WWE getting rid of Torrie Wilson! I have been reading for sometime that she has been having issues with her back that would prevent her from wrestling...lol! Come on let's face it really! She was crappy in the ring, the years were beginning to show and she hasn't had any part of a storyline since The Al Wilson Story, which was terrible. I do hope she has better luck with her future endeavors despite my sounding harsh of her lack of character and ability. Now the question is WHO'S NEXT????

The only people that will be released by the WWE, are those that are random jobbers who just came in random 1 nighters. I don't really think that many stars will be released.

There are hardly any superstars that will get cut. The only ones I think have that possibility to be close to that, would be the highlanders, and Charlie Haas. Both of which I highly doubt will anyway.

The divas won't get fired wither because they are all for show. Possible BDV as well, but I think he is currently at fat camp having time off, so who knows.
