Speculation Regarding the Death of Chris Benoit

hah, well as over the top sarcastic that was, I have to agree... people who just take everything they hear as facts and don't ever open their minds to ask their own questions are definitly in no place to insult anybody else.. It's never wrong to put some different thought into the mix.. (and remember the people investigating on this are only human too, they make mistakes)

Exactly and this is a speculation thread involving the case not for those who want to come on here and place ignorant posting that it's done or calling someone names for no reason at all just because they do not like reading someone's realistic opinion on the matter.

I don't see Chris Benoit typing up his wife and making her bleed then strangling her. I think somehow somebody did this first, to his wife, and fled the scene. When Chris found this out, he decided to take his own life because, well I'm not really sure. Maybe the "There's nothing else to live for" or something. If steroids were involved, they would of definetley impacted his decision. But realizing what life would be for his son Daniel, he decided he should go, too. No one else would take care of him the same way that he and Nancy had, so he made sure Daniel had a slow and painless death. This may have been done while Daniel was sleeping because he was in his sleep. Placing a bible nest to each body might have been a sign for them both to go to heaven. He hung himself with a towel wrapped around his neck because he did not want to get cut, and he could have a painless death just like Daniel.

There are some loopholes, but I hope this is what happened to the Benoit family. Nancy had to suffer, but Chris and Daniel we know wen painlessly. I do not know that this happened, but again i really hope so. Chris is not the kind of guy who would do something like this, like all wrestlers said. He was a nice guy. What do you guys think?

Not to go all conspiracy theory on you guys, but honestly, a coincidence of someone posting on the wikipedia page. Okay, I'll give you something that someone may have put that Nancy had died as a joke, but what the hell are the chances that the IP address would have been in Stamford, CT.

I don't know what to make of it myself, but it's just fucking creepy I suppose.

As for ReedTucker who said that the wikipedia thing wasn't a big deal because only FoxNews was reporting on it and no other media outlet, now all the media outlets are reporting it..don't be so skeptical of Fox..they were the first major media outlet that reported on the death of Benoit (other than the wrestling sites, of course), and the first to report on the death of the other woman wrestler on June 15.

IMO in this pic, he looks like a lost man about to cry over something, battling something but thats just my opinion.

Well if this pic was apparently taken friday by his doctor's office, why would he take a pic of him? Or is it one of those I need a pic for my daughter bit. I hope they asked the doctor why would he take a pic of him if he was seeing Benoit on a regular schedule.

Me I have worked as a officer, forensics and now as a detective, but one of my main clues I would really look at is what type of DNA is around the wife, and the boy. We can tell lets say if a sweat drop is on their skin or saliva from someone's mouth or a tear drop, anything. I will tell you this people, if Benoit's DNA of tear drops, saliva in that nature, its more likely guaranteed fact he did it since the fact about the Bible bit, because if he did do this I am certain he would have kissed the boy on the head or had some tears drops around the scene. But if they do not find any of Benoit's DNA around the bodies, then they have a big problem because that changes the percentage rate from another perpetrator.

I think the murder of his wife was the result of a vicious argument when Chris just lost control, perhaps due to negative effects of steroids or alcohol. Coming to his senses afterwards, he realizes that he will be going to prison and possibly death row. Chris puts Daniel in bed and doesn't sleep as he drinks alcohol while trying to figure out what to do. He spends a day with Daniel, trying to have one last good day on earth with his son. Sometime during this period, he finally decides for sure that Daniel would be "better off" dead and in heaven with his mother, due to his condition and the terrible effects it would have on him losing his parents in such a horrific way. So after Daniel goes to sleep, Benoit smothers him and leaves him in his bed. Drinking more alcohol to try and relieve the immense emotional pain, he sends text messages to some friends with his address to ensure their bodies are discovered. Benoit then kills himself due to extreme guilt and depression.

This is what I think happened.

CNN was reporting that Daniel was killed before Nancy. How about this...could it be possible that Nancy was stressed about their situation with Daniel. So Benoit came home to be with her. He goes to the doctors office to see what else they could do. Mean while Nancy (a stay home mother who deals with the stress of their son's situation while Benoit is on the road 300 days a year) loses is and smothers Daniel. Benoit comes home and just loses it. He then kills Nancy out of rage. Has a few days to think about it and finally commits suicide.

I think you hit the nail right on the head my friend. Thats exactly how I see it in my mind. Chris didnt plan this, IMO.

Yeah he looks really sleepy and angry or sad. Me idea is that either nancy killed daniel and then chris found out and killed her got wasted lost his sanity and hung himself in his weight room. Or Nancy wanted chris to take time off/take a break from wrestling he didnt want to and they started the classic domestic disturbance that escalated to double murder suicide. Either way very sad.

if he didn't plan to kill his wife or kid and he did it out of rage pr even an argument, then why didn't he leave a suicide note?

Chris Benoit was a very reserved man who kept all his problems to himself. Although it sucks, it's not really that surprising that he didn't leave a suicide note. Not to mention that he had been drinking quite a bit of alcohol, apparently, and that makes it all the more difficult to sit down and write a note.

Yeah that is weird, it's being reported on some sites now. But it wouldn't surprise me if some hacker found out how to change the times of something posted. Unless Benoit talked to or messaged someone else..

The founder of Wikipedia stated on FoxNews that it is impossible to change the time of an edit..plus moderators changed the edit because the person didn't have any evidence to back up the statement that Nancy Benoit had died, therefore the timing of the edit on Wikipedia is not in question.

One person asserted that Benoit didn't leave a suicide note because he may have been too drunk...however, he was sober enough to text message co-workers about his physical location and where his dogs were, with no spelling errors?..that doesn't add up.

Also, does anybody know if it was actually reported that Daniel was killed before Nancy?? This would be huge in my mind.

Surely though, you agree all the evidence revealed and police statements etc. clearly point towards Benoit as the killer. In fact, the police actually confirmed Benoit as the killer soon after the actual incident, I think it may have been a day or so. You are correct, however, in stating that a motive and other details still have not been discovered.

The facts.Two dogs roam the house inside and outside.Police said it took along time to get in the house because of the dogs.The house has a fence around it.Benoit is at the crime site all weekend.He makes text messages to friends that make no sense.Lots of pills found in the house.Also lots of beer cans. Past history of wife being scared of him because of his actions towards her.He been fighting with her about the child health problems.Bibles are placed next to the child and wife.Showing that the person that kill them care about them.Sounds like he was frame to me.Not.

Yeah that is current but the way the person posted it as Cut and Dry, it is not. It never has been cut and Dry, there could have been a different situation than what people are assuming, there could have been a threat on his families life which resulted in the tragedy, there could have been a blackmail thing where Benoit was forced to do this for some reason, there are too many wierd events for it to be as cut and Dry as what that guy said.

Personally, I'm very, very confused about some places (Wikipedia and maybe some other sources, I forget) reporting the death of Nancy Benoit before anyone could possibly know about it. The sad thing is that it is just going to spark more absurd, vague conspiracy theories when there's probably an obvious answer.

Question:How did someone get in the house?Both Benoit and the dogs are there.The house has a gate.People may have to be let in.Someone gets in the house but Benoit being a wrestler.Doesn't fight them.The person that gets in the house stays over night.With Benoit in the house.Kill Benoit's wife and waits around to kill his son.Then the person hangs Benoit in the basement.The whole time this other person is killing the other two people in the house.The person lets Benoit text his friends.But Benoit forgets to say in the texts message.Oh someone is killing my family.
