So...what is going on?

I remember the first time I ever tried to watch TNA Wrestling, about 5 years ago. I turned it on, saw one or two familiar faces, and generally had no idea what in the heck was going on. I'd have to wait for video packages to show me what's been going on in feuds, and even with them it took me about three months to really feel comfortable with the product, its characters, and all the angles and alliances going on. I would really like to NOT take three months to get comfortable with WZCW.

That being said, would any of you find gentlemen (or ladies? ) like to fill me in on the basics of what's been going on in the world of WZCW? Who are the major characters, what are the feuds, how are they developing, and what should I be looking out for going into the future? Basically like a short Wikipedia page about WZCW to catch me up on everything important. I've been reading through some of the more recent shows, but if I read through all of them to the point where I would feel comfortable, I'd literally be in here for several weeks just reading things.

So, any help here would be much appreciated!

Key things right now.

Main Event Scene

Ty Burna just purchased half of the WZCW and is co-owners with Vance Bateman, the Ascension general manager.

Ty leads the main stable called Apostles of Chaos. The Apostles contain Ty, Chris K.O., James King, and Dr. Alhazred.

That is the major angle going on right now.

The world title has changed hands two times in the last three rounds and may change three times by the end of this upcoming one.

Barbosa cashed in his KFAD briefcase, our version of MITB, on the champion Big Dave. He defended it at All or Nothing in a 4-way elimination match. Titus won the match and is currently the champion. He is defending his title this round against Steven Kurtesy, who got the chance after drawing Titus last round during our version of the roulette shows.

Mid-Card Scene

Steven Holmes recently won the Elite, formerly known as the Elite X, championship off of Sam Smith. Steven Holmes defended his belt against Austin Reynolds last round and retained. He is now facing off against Reynolds and Ricky Runn, who are tag team champions, in a non title match with his ally Constantine.

Black Dragon is the Eurasian champion and is defending his title against Chris K.O. this week. Last week, Black Dragon got put into a tag match against two Apostle members and a sadistic Barbosa. It didn't go well for Dragon, and this match is going to follow up on the event.

The Mayhem scene is a bit of a mess, so there isn't really much to keep you up to date on. No significant feuds or story lines in this area at the moment. Currently, Justin Cooper is the champion, after he took it off of Armando Paradyse, who took it off of the second longest reigning Mayhem champion, Alex Bowen.

Tag Title Scene

Forgotten Powers, James King & Dr. Alhazred, still have a title shot lingering under their belts, but James King is injured.

Currently, Scott Hammond and Mick Overlast are the #1 contenders for the belt. They are with Blade in a mini-stable called the "Sons of Destiny."

Sorry if all that stuff is jumbled up and error filled. I am tired, but I wanted to fill you in with a little bit of stuff before I go to bed.

I really suggest just reading the last two shows and starting from there. We started with a pretty clean slate after the last PPV and we had a lot of big returns as well. You should be able to get who is big and what not by how the show is presented.

General stuff on most wrasslers. I haven't been here forever but know decently enough about most of them. I suggest reading as many RPs as you can, should get you caught up fairly quickly.

Celeste(Echelon) - Female wrestler, just returned. Before my time.

Everest(michigain) - Former world champ (2 times?), hasn't been doing much lately.

Phoenix(Thriller) - Also just returned, kind of a psycho. I believe he was tag team champ before I was here and also had a big feud with tag partner, Garth Black (no longer in fed), that lastest about 4 and a half years

Showtime(Showtime) - Upper carder, won Lethal Lottery (rumble) last year and had big feud with Ty, but never won the title. Recently has tagged/feuded with new guy Stan Rogers, who I believe is now gone.

Drake Callahan (Harthran) - Also just returned and was before my time.

Ty Burna(Ty Burna) - Until recently was World Champ, holding title for a year. Uses Ouija Board and has Undertaker-like demon powers. Also currently running Meltdown and leading Apostles of Chaos.

Blade (Blade) - Always known for being good but never having title, until finally winning the EurAsian Title off Chris Beckford and having a lenghty run. Currently messing around with Scott Hammond and apparently Mick Overlast.

Mr. Baller (Baller) - Known as a joke (once got his head punted off in a match), but inexplicably turned it around and had a world title match on PPV.

Titus(Lee) - Current world champ and one of WZCW's most beloved. also held it once before in what was ultimately a disappointing reign.

Scott Hammond (Low_Ki) - Was in Mayhem scene for a bit before teaming up with Wasabi Toyota to form Brother in Arms and win the tag titles. Recently turned heel and aligned with once enemy Blade.

Chris Beckford (Leeds Guy) - Fan favorite who had a lengthy run with the EurAsian Title before losing to Blade, who put him out for awhile with a knee injury.

Steven Kurtesy (FalKon) - Was stuck in a tag team with the dreadful Doug Crashin for awhile. Eventually added Holmes to the group and feuded with him. Also been known to challenge for the World Title from time to time, including this week.

Austin Reynolds(Numbers) - Had a pretty long run with the Elite X title and later involved in world title scene with Ty and Showtime. Currently tagging with Ricky Runn.

Matt Tastic (Killjoy)- Has also went by Killjoy and Baez. Held the Mayhem Title for quite awhile, recently had a big feud with Titus.

Gordito(DirtyJose) - Quickly rose to prominence, landing a title shot in his first few months after winning a tournament. Returned fairly recently and once again found himself in the main event at All or Nothing.

Wasabi Toyota (GD) - Won tag titles with Hunter Kravinoff (no longer here) quicky upon debut. After Kravinoff was taken out by Crashin Movement became partners with Hammond and again won tag titles. Recently had a big feud with Barbosa over KFAD.

Steven Holmes (FunKay) - Formerly aligned with Crashin Movement along with Kurtesy and Crashin. After feud with Kurtesy won the Elite Title off Sam Smith.

Alexander Steele (falconsault) - Won tag titles as part of Reckless Youth with Tucker Graham (no longer here). Had a rather long hiatus before returning recently.

Constantine (Dave) - One of WZCW's most disliked wrestlers. Had a huge feud with Austin Reynolds. Recently involved in the whole Holmes/Smith ordeal over the title.

Brad Bomb (newc) - Feuded with Beckford of EurAsian belt, never winning. Not sure what he's been up to lately.

Justin Cooper (Prophet) - Spent most of his time in the Mahyem Division, currently the champ.

Sam Smith (Crock) - Beat Constantine for the Elite X Title and held it for awhile.

Barbosa (Barbosa) - Has about 5 personalities. Once competed for tag titles without a partner. Formerly had an alliance with Hunter Kravinoff in which they worshipped Mila Kunis. Won KFAD briefcase in a match against Toyota. Successfully cashed in only to lose on last PPV.

Armando Paradyse (Ryder) - Kind of a joke, had a decent tag team with Sean Cruz before leaving for awhile. Recently held the Mayhem Title for a week. Was not on the card for Kingdom Come.

Action Saxton (Doc) - A bad mothasucka'. Hasn't done any one thing for too long. Currently is quite cozy with Saboteur.

Sen Cruz (Hawkeye) - Was partner with Paradyse and also former Mayhem champ before being stripped. I believe he's gone again.

Dr. Alhazred (Red Skull) - Has an awesome powerglove. Won tag titles as part of Forgotten Powers with James King before suffering a car accident. Recently returned as part of Disciples of Chaos, but now his partner is hurt.

Black Dragon (Gelgarin) - Mysterious dude that wears a mask. Has a problem with Vance Bateman for some reason. Current EurAsian Champ.

Chris K.O. (Kermit) - Made his mark by changing his name and feuding with Everest. Currently a part of Aposcles of Chaos.

Johnny Scumm (RDV) - Hasn't done much, has a Mayhem Title shot this week.

Saboteur (JGlass) - Made his mark by ending Ty Burna's winning streak (in a nontitle match). Currently a bit pissed off and is cozy with Action Saxton.

Jack Skinner (NSL) - Hasn't done much other than have a bunch of matches with S.H.I.T.

Ricky Runn (Pancake) - Currently tag champ with Reynolds.

S.H.I.T (Miko) - Robot made out of cardboard. Beat Reynolds in his debut. Has had a lot of matches with Skinner.

Alexander Stark (Kotrie) - Recently held tag titles with Susumu (no longer here).

Mick Overlast (mick overlast) - pretty new, apparently aligned with Blade and Hammond.

Jack O'Latern, Ryan Raynes, Triple X - Have made as much of a mark as you thus far.

Darren Bull (awesome_miz) - Potential to be the greatest WZCW wrestler of all time.

Rodney McClain - Former wrestler, career cut short as he was not given a fair chance. Definitely would've bee the best WZCW superstar of all time.
