It's the time where educated predictions, that usually end up correct, for WrestleMania matches are made but Orton doesn't actually have a known rumour match, such as Undertaker and HHH did.

Right now he has nobody to feud with and no title to go for. No sense to go for US/IC, it would be like punishing him, or demoting him at least, and he has nobody to really 'turn' on out of the blue. I see him facing Sheamus in a "bathroom break" match.

(This isn't a prediction, I'm sort of stating that right now Orton is 'left out' of WWM XXVII by internet rumours and WWE's current situation).

Have you not been paying attention? Orton will be facing Punk at WM 27. Punk eliminates Orton at EC and then tonight on RAW, Orton comes out to get revenge. It isn't officially listed yet but anybody watching knows that the Orton/Punk match is set up for WM and I think it will be one hell of a match.

How has Cena "buried" the New Nexus (as I'm sure you're referring to)?

When it comes back to Unforgiven 2008, this is something known as storyline continuity. Getting revenge on Orton for costing him the title is definitely a great reason for a feud to start up.

This is a great fude that could possibly even go outside of wrestlemania. It has just been building up since 2008. I don't believe that the match at WM will be the end of Orton vs Punk. Both men are solid in the ring, but I give the mic to CM his heel promos have just been golden of late. He was allways solid on the mic, but he has really taken it to a new level as of late. The fans will be behind Randy of course and CM will draw major heel heat at Mania for sure.

As for Cena having buried the whole new Nexus, you sir are sadly mistaken. While Slater and Gabe did lose the titles they won them right back. Be it whatever you want to say Miz this or that, I believe it showed that he couldn't even Bury the old Nexus. He did eliminate them all at the RR but really he hasen't done anything to them of late. Randy has done more to them than he has. Cite Husky Harris

Not only has CM Punk cited Unforgiven 08 as his motivation for the recent attacks on Orton, he has actually made good on his threats and gone after Orton on a regular basis. CM Punk is in too deep now to not be involved with Orton, as once you mess with Orton you better make sure you put him down, because if you don't he will come after you.

They have not cleared up why CM Punk shifted his focus away from Cena entirely, but it would just seem that taking out Orton is more important to him than Cena.

Randy Orton is anything but left out of Wrestlemania. In fact, there is already another thread anticipating Orton-Punk being Mania's best match.

The OP here made me laugh, you're too early for April Fools dude.

There is no chance Orton gets left off WrestleMania. The only way that happens is if he breaks his neck or dies between now and WrestleMania.

This feud with Randy Orton and CM Punk is too personal for Orton to not do anything about it. Punk has come at Orton very strong since his accusations against Randy Orton costing him his first World Heavyweight Championship in 2008. CM Punk has every right to be pissed off since he never got a chance to get it back or any match against Orton I don't think.

It just wouldn't make sense for them to just have this feud skip WrestleMania and have their match at Extreme Rules instead. It has to happen at WrestleMania.
