Sources indicated that Vince McMahon was a little upset with the general reaction Snitsky got on Raw Monday. Vince thought Snitsky was more over than he was and when he announced Cena vs Snitsky he was a little taken back by the lack of reaction.

Anyone else think Snitsky has potential? Considering they already tried to get him over once before, is this new gimmick change going to make much of a difference? He is still an evil monster like he was before, Just with a shaved head and eyebrows lol.
I believe he has a slight chance, but I don't see him going anywhere w/o having a few good feuds. Any thoughts?

The only place Snitsky is going is onto the long list of who have fallen to the mighty STFU. Seriously, This is fucking nuts to even try and have Snitsky anywhere near main eventing on RAW. Sure it was to hype Cena/Orton but Snitsky is unbearable to watch. The guy can't even have a match past the 5 minute mark.

I'm sure Snitsky will be moving into the WWE title picture after Cena retains at SS and if he does. Seriously enough is enough. I don't think i'll be able to watch RAW anymore.

He's Shit. Get rid of him and keep him away from anything besides squashing jobbers. When Snitsky puts on a watchable match that is longer than 2 minutes then and only then will I see just a tiny bit of potential in him. He's just another one of Vince's large douche's that can't do jack to entertain fans. It's crystal clear the fans don't give a damn about him.

I look at his gimmick as a RAW version of Kane. He will never have the career of Kane though.

Some good points there Big Wes and truth be told only reason they are even trying to build him as a monster is to eventually be defeated by Cena in a program for the WWE Title. As this scares me as Cena could retain and enter a feud with Snitsky.

He is RAW version of the sick twisted Kane that was when he was unmasked but Snitsky sucks in the ring and as his match Monday was meh as this is for Sly Cean couldn't even carry that match. After he gets his beat down by Cena he will flutter away and then we will see no more snitsky.

The WWE writers are trying to get him over to be the next Kane

In my opinion, the main ingredient to Kane getting over back in the 97-98 ERA was the unbelievable storyline between him and the Undertaker. Being his long lost brother, and just coming in and wreaking havoc on him. Unless Snitsky has a true memorable feud, he's not goin anywhere but back to HEAT

Snitsky will be squashing jobbers until the Cena-Orton feud will end (with Cena winning). Then he will go into a feud with Cena and get beat by the amazing four (Spinning Power-bomb, 5 Knuckle Shuffle, FU, STFU). After that Snitsky will be on RAW for a few more weeks, then go to HEAT and then get released.

If there was any doubt in my mind, I am now convinced that Vince McMahon is the dumbest man on earth. He was shocked at the lack of response from the audience?? Are you serious? I cannot wrap my head around the fact that Vinnie is that out of touch with his fans. Every blessed week Vince sends Snitksy out on RAW to have a match. Every single time there is absolutely no reaction from the crowd. None. Nothing. Nada. In fact, during the weekly Snitsky squashed you can see numerous people in the crowd getting up and leaving their seats. Probably because taking a piss is more entertaining that Snitsky. Which, of course, means that he will scheduled to work a main event program immediately.

Vince was upset, I heard that report too, but what does he expect? Did he honestly think Snitsky was ready to be in a Raw main event? All he's done is squash jobbers and nothing more. he has not had any rivalries since this jump to raw with this psycho gimmick. No evidence on whether or not he can carry a good match and they use him to boost Cena for the summerslam main event. I'd chalk him up on a list too. That list being guys that were pushed WAY too soon. He joins Santino Marella on that list even though Santino is for different reasons, namely lack of charisma but that's for another thread. Snitsky's done nothing to prove that he should even be discussed in a PPV main event, much less a TV one. In other words for the guys of Raw, they screwed up. Plain and simple. They're trying to build Snitsky but they're doing a poor job of it.

And the funny thing is that the only monsters that are any good are Umaga and Big Daddy V though that doesn't mean they're anything spectacular. But yeah, Snitsky, Khali and Mark Henry are painful to watch in the ring. They're boring and they're sloppy in the ring. Those 3 leave, though it seems Henry is the only one that might, I'm not going to miss him at all but yeah, Vince has lost his touch and clearly doesn't have the focus he once did with his own product. And going into Summerslam which they're praying will bring him money, that's not good.

To be a monster people have to actually react to said monster. Its painfully obvious no one reacts to Snitsky.

Havent they punished this wrestler enough? ..... I seem to remember a year or 3 ago seeing him backstage at a PPV licking Mae Youngs toes and JR and The King refered to him as Snitsky "the foot fetish freak" ... please confirm or deny this someone....its gonna bug me.

All he does is squash jobbers, that never gets anyone over. He needs to dominate more worthwhile opponents if they want to ever get him over. I remember when Snitsky had his first pay per view match with Kane and destroyed him, I think he was actually getting a lot of heat in those days. I think Snitsky is capable of gaining that heat but just needs the right storylines and opponents.

Awful, awful. And now they are setting Big Daddy V up the exact same way, thinking they can just keep making one monster after another. What I hate hearing is the announce team talk about these guys. EVERY time they fall down the announce teams says something like "thats the first time anyone has ever knocked so and so down" or "how often do you seem someone do that?" or whenever a person kicks out of finisher they are like "has anyone ever survived such and such move before?" It is simply redundant and thats why they won't be able to get these guys over for a while now. Its been done!

And that Snitsky challenge promo on RAW last night. I felt sick after it because of how bad it was. They are trying really hard with this guy.

Totally agree with you. The problem with the push that guys like Snitsky and Big Daddy V get is that there is no long term plan. For some reason, Creative follows the same boiler plate of
1. Find large man
2. Have large man beat up smaller men of no consequence
3. Give large man title shot
4. Have large man lose title shot
5. Repeat steps 2-4

The sad part to me that, with a little effort and the proper feuds (like Jeremy said) these "monsters" might actually become useful members of the roster. I'm not saying Snitsky or V will ever put on a 5 (or a 4..or 3) star match, but for their size they both can move ok in the ring (esp. V). Umaga was in the same boat as these guys, but the timing was right for him to get a feud outside of a championship feud and look what happened with him.. He's not the most entertaining guy on the roster but he also doesn't make me want to change the channel whenever his music hits. If creative just put in a little more work coming up with ways to get these other guys over as "monsters" they might actually have a longer shelf life and decent matches that last more than 2 minutes.

Also, most of these "monsters" are simply fat, disgusting hogs. I'm not talking about Snitsky, but Vicera and Henry are horrible. Umaga is fat, but he can move, and I've been very impressed with him. He is THE monster in WWE, IMHO, because he can actually do some moves.

I think Vince is stuck in this rut of thinking that its the 80s, where huge guys like this weren't the norm. But, between the juiced up 9 foot 11, 750 pound pro athletes, the juiced up olympic athletes, and the fact that about 257% of all Americans, including myself, are overweight, it really isn't such an eye-bulging shocker to see a guy that big in the ring.

Oh, and in my rant I forgot about Khali! He's the absolute worst. I love, I mean I freakin' LOVE the way all the announcers talk about the size of his hands, non-fucking-stop, for the whole match, because all the useless, ugly freak fuck can do is chop and punch.

Henry can't breathe, and Vicera's man-tits often have me so sick I need to change the channel until his match is over.

"Coming down the isle, weighing in at 2 tons, 3 ounces, GODZILLA'S DEAD FATHER!" I see it coming.

Lastly, a monster need not be huge. You could get a guy and make him so nuts and insane, that he's unbeatable. You could have a regular sized guy act like a maniac, cripple other guys with weapons and the such, and there you are! Cactus Jack was a monster, I mean back in the day in Japan. Randy Orton is, IMHO, a monster, because his character has absolutely no remourse and has no scruples about hurting his opponent's familys or ending there careers. THAT is a monster, so I think we need to tweak the definition.

The way i see it, once a Jobber, always a jobber. and not just Snitsky, I want someone to name ONE person that went at least three months and then came back and won a title, excluding the Tag titles and the Crusierweight titles. It's not happened, and yet Vince seems to think that these people will get over anyways. I think there should be an unwritten rule that you can't challenge for any main event title untill you have A) at least one other title on your resume, and @) at LEAST 2 years in the WWE. Snitsky had everything needed to be a huge star when he debuted, he had the rivalry with Kane, a main event match at his second ever PPV, and then continued his feud with kane for a few more months. But after that, they should have kept pushing him, maybe even giving him some kinda match at WM21. But when that didn't happin, I saw a jobber in the making. And so it has happened.

One thing I see that Vince doesn't see is that he has two "monsters" on RAW: Snitsky and Umaga. Have these two monsters start a feud with each other. This time, Umaga does not need the undefeated push, so, it doesn't have to be anything like Umaga vs Kane, that was shit. This will help snitsky and at give raw a truly monstrous fued.
