Yep. It was even worse since my parents were divorced right around that time and my dad made it clear that he was ONLY paying for necessities, which didn't include clothes that fit that often.

That's terrible, I feel for you because kids can be cruel. We are lucky in the fact that we both have good jobs and can afford it. Nothing worse than getting made fun of because you aren't wearing the right clothes. Seen it happen more than I can say.

I had the goatee with chin strap for a long time but I kept it trimmed shorter. Finally said screw and grew a full beard. I don't keep it long since I work in a corporate environment but I keep it thick instead.

I went from long hair and stubble to short hair and a beard over the course of 8 years.
