TONIGHT!
The Draft!

Vince McMahon once said "It's time to shake things up again!" It's a soundbite we've all heard time and time again and usually it leads to some fairly mediocre results. Well tonight, that isn't the case. For the first time, in a long time, WWE faces seismic changes as Stephanie and Shane McMahon's sibling rivalry forces the company to tear itself in two once more.

The GM's!

Stephanie and RAW brought in a living legend, a bonafide Hall of Famer and all round great guy Mick Foley. Meanwhile Shane and the blue brand brought back the biggest fan favourite of the last decade and a man whose career was tragically cut short inside the square circle - Daniel Bryan! As these two popular men battle, how will they influence not only the draft, but the programmes they respectively control?

The Rules!

WWE.com said:
With tonight's WWE Draft on the premiere of SmackDown Live on USA Network fast approaching, WWE.com answers the biggest questions of the WWE Universe with a breakdown of the official rules, regulations and procedures for one of the biggest nights in WWE history — including a major update that will change the face of NXT as well.

The rules for the WWE Draft are as follows:

  • Raw has the first overall pick
  • Since SmackDown Live is a two-hour show and Raw is three hours, for every two picks SmackDown Live receives, Raw will receive three picks

Oh, and a Title Match Too...

Controversy and chaos lead to luke warm finish to last night's RAW main event with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose battling to a draw with the Heavyweight Championship of the World on the line. So tonight, once again, they go toe-to-toe for the gold. Will things go the same way again tonight or is there going to be a conclusive finish?

It's on the network now, the preshow I mean. Nothing has happened yet Spidey. There is apparently an aftershow as well. Just to let everyone know.

Quick question: American Alpha, Nakamura, Balor, and Bayley ought to be 5 of the 6 who come up to the main roster tonight. But who is the 6th?

Quick question: American Alpha, Nakamura, Balor, and Bayley ought to be 5 of the 6 who come up to the main roster tonight. But who is the 6th?

I'm hearing everyone from Samoa Joe to Nia Jax to Corey Graves and everyone in-between as the 6th to come up.

Nia seems very likely to move up. I think she's more or less already at her ceiling, so why not.

I'm just glad teams count as one pick. Splitting tag teams was probably the thing I feared most about draft.
