So the Authority is back because WWE can’t wait more than a few weeks without having a full time heel GM running the show. Other than that, Edge and Christian are allegedly in charge tonight, despite filing a multi-million dollar lawsuit against WWE on Main Event, because if there’s one thing WWE fans like more than evil authority figures, it’s the fun characters filing lawsuits. Let’s get to it.

The New Year's Hangover

Loved the Ambreigns reunion.
Hope it carries onto RAW and is a feature during Mania season.

Hopefully the promo by Bray Wyatt signals the end of his feud with Ambrose. Announced himself in the rumble, which will be interesting.

:lmao: The Intercontinental Championship strikes again. BNB loses to Sin Cara.

somehow I missed that match. However I did read he smashed him after the loss.
I guess they are just trying to get him some heel heat more than anything, as people generally want to cheer him more than anything.

As for Sin Cara, he was used because of the area they were in has loads of Hispanics or something...

I missed most of the match while paying attention to my phone. I hear the announcers call Cara's finisher and look up to see the the 3 count. I started laughing.

Why is rollins losing when hes the #1 contender against lesnar and cena? Shouldn't big show take the pin instead?

This is the last show on Fridays as the show moves back to the original Thursday time slot next week. We’re coming off a pretty poorly received episode of Raw where the Authority reminded us that this is their company and we’re just lucky enough to be watching it. Nothing major has been announced for tonight but you can smell the big tag match from here. Let’s get to it.

Smackdown is back on Thursday nights in its original time slot, which might mean WWE will put a fresh focus on it instead of just using it as a dumping ground for whatever they can’t fit on Raw. The big story tonight is Daniel Bryan’s return to the ring for the first time since his neck surgery in May. Let’s get to it.

Much like last week, this actually feels like a big show. The main event for tonight is again Bryan vs. Kane, now in a No DQ match with Bryan’s Rumble spot on the line. The show had a significantly bigger audience last week compared to the normal audiences on Fridays, so maybe we’re in for more big time shows. Let’s get to it.
