Smackdown, Aug 23 2016 "the sum of all our fears"

Holy shit, I hate the Miz, but dude might have just had Promo of the Year on Talking Smack. Holy fucking hell that was amazing.

Holy shit indeed. Happened to have the Network on another TV input, your post made me flip back and rewind.

God damn Miz. You made me want Daniel Bryan back more than Daniel Bryan has made me want Daniel Bryan back.

Fucking wow, dude. Miz was keeping it kayfabe until DBry started getting a little too shoot-y with him and Miz fucking leveled him. Top drawer.

Taking a shallow talent pool and splitting it in half for no good reason, and draining NXT to bolster the stupid fucking thing. Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

But isn't the whole point of NXT to supply the Main Roster with superstars when they are needed in order to freshen things up?

It's entirely their prerogative, of course, but I doubt I'm the only regular NXT viewer that's displeased about having the women's division decimated. It's a high compliment but a bitter pill to swallow when the only viable contender for the title is someone who debuted on Saturday.

Hopefully next year, the process get's revised a bit. Perhaps some NXT stars have to win draft eligibility, thus offering valid reasons why Mojo Rawley get's drafted over Shinsuke Nakamura, while establishing a method of protecting their own roster.

This was a bit puzzling. They took a handful of individuals who peaked mid card in NXT and said "oh well, move on up." I like NXT a lot but facts are facts and it isn't a money maker. The true stars should be on with the money shows/tours. Hell, if you look at the top stars on a global level NXT smokes RAW and it shouldn't be that way.
