First of all, I've never even heard of a "radio major". Most reputable programs call them a "Broadcasting major" or "Communications" or something similar. Second of all, typically there are three types of students who go to a community college. The first are the students who cannot afford a 4 year University, the second are those who aren't sure what they want to do in college and the third are the ones who aren't smart enough to get into a 4 year University. You already have a major, so obviously you don't fit in the second category, and you don't have a job, so you don't fit in the first category, so what does that leave?
Actually, I do fit into the first category. There is no way I could afford to attend a 4 year institution.
And my major is one that the community college specializes in, so why would I try to go anywhere else for it?

I don't work because school takes up a lot of time. I would rather be 100% dedicated to my school work than work at a dead end job with lame pay.
My 4 year University paid me to go to their school, and I was still working 50+ hours between two jobs during the school semester.

Go to Wal-Mart, get part-time employment. Or some other retail store. Or work at a fast food restaurant or a server at regular restaurant. College students all over the country have jobs and go to school. And they have much more difficult college courses than what you find at community college in a "radio major".
