Sheamus out 4-6 months

Fire Marshall Bill

Let me show ya somethin!!!
WWE.com is reporting Sheamus will be out 4-6 months courtesy of a torn labrum in his left shoulder.

The report states the Money in the Bank ladder match is where the injury occured and it's only been further damaged in the last few weeks. Sheamus says this will be his first surgery ever.

Well, at least with his skin tone you won't see the scar.

Lies, I had the same thing happen to me and the same surgery and I'm pretty pasty white too, I see mine extremely clearly. It's a bitch to rehab, he'll be out at least 4 but probably closer to the six he's called for. I wasnt allowed to run until my 4 myself. And before someone posts the quality of treatment the surgeon I had was done by the Pittsburgh pirates pitching surgeon so yah he's screwed.

A) I was messing around
B) His skin tone really is whiter than yours
C) You also have a close up view of yours. If you do of his, get me an autograph. :)

Well somehow, somewhere Sin Cara is feeling like that...

Sheamus should be WWE's #2 star based on how he's been pushed since his debut. He isn't. In fact something has gone wrong somewhere because I doubt many people will miss him while he's gone.

Well this sucks. The guy entertains me to no end in the ring. Thankfully Christian can fill the void Sheamus will leave.

So Sheamus has mostly been out of action for a few weeks, RVD and Christian have been seen increasingly in his usual stomping grounds of the upper-mid card, and at the same time the product is more interesting and that is shown in the ratings being up.

Coincidence? I think not.

The crowd's reaction to Sheamus(or serious lack there of) at MITB, especially compared to the other main event level talent, really showed where he fits in the fan's eyes amongst the company's top performers.

The guy has some awesome finishers. He puts pretty good matches from time to time too. Besides that however I doubt I'll be missing him that much.

This could be good for him. He's essentially floundered since losing the World Title, and the time off could be used to tweak his character. He looks and has the moveset of a bad man, he needs to act like one rather then trying to be funny.

He doesnt need a heel turn, per se, just a more serious character. This gives he and creative a chance to work on giving him exactly that, although the injury is a tough break.

Through extensive research I've discovered that there is only place for one goofy super-face in the eyes of the fans. That, unfortunately, is John Cena. Who is seemingly more popular than Sheamus despute being more stale and generally being worse than than that big ginger bastard.

I can understand that sentiment, but this...

Can you please expound on how exactly Cena is worse than Sheamus?

Barrett/Sheamus has happened too many times with a one-sided result for anyone to care about it.

Replace "Barrett/Sheamus" with "Almost every heel on the roster/Sheamus" and you are even closer to the truth.

Sheamus is the one of the most obvious current examples of the failure of WWE Creative to add any depth to their programmes outside of the main event.

He was getting good reactions so the writers didn't seem to think that there was anything that needed to be done with him to either build or maintain that momentum so with the exception of his feud with the Big Show, virtually nothing has been done with Sheamus the character since he won the Royal Rumble or even before that.

He has been involved in good matches and is more than capable in the ring but his feuds with the likes of Del Rio and Sandow were booked so one-dimensionally and were so one-sided that there was nothing to be gotten out of them. Indeed, Sheamus was booked as more of a face steamroller than John Cena perhaps ever has been. Never looked in any danger of losing to virtually any of his opponents. Not even on an episode of Smackdown or Main Event.
