Sheamus Done for 4-6 Months

Personally, I'd want him face for WM30 and to face Brock Lesnar which could be an entertaining match.

As much as a huge Lesnar mark I am, no thanks. The only time I would want to see a 20 minute one sided beatdown would be if Lesnar went against either Cena or Orton

Never want to see a performer get injured so I wish him the best and hope for a speedy recovery.

However, as cold as this may sound, I don't care one bit.

Sheamus has never interested me and will never interest me. He's insufferably unfunny as a face and bland as a heel. Decent worker but honestly I would never notice his absence if I hadn't learned about it on here.

Here's the perfect chance for Creative to find something interesting for Sheamus when he returns. I figure he comes back as a face, since a fan favorite gone that long usually gets a positive reaction.....but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him turn heel soon after

Really? I think this could be a great fit for both. Lesnar has already faced Cena, Orton is turning heel, Bryan would not be a good fit at all, Taker/Rock wouldn't be able to go all out with Lesnar. That leaves me thinking Sheamus would be a great choice. He is someone that could equal the physicality needed for a match with Lesnar. Just 15 minutes of a no-DQ match would be very entertaining.

I felt kind of bad for letting out an audible yelp of joy when I saw this. Good lord is Sheamus excruciatingly boring, and the way they book him, worse yet. He is the absolute king of the fast food, useless, paint by numbers nothing match.

Not really bad on him, he is actually the prime example of how utterly inept the WWE creative team is. With that look, ,that accent, and everything about him, the giant pile of nothing is all you can really do with this character? Really?

I think this is pretty much spot on. Sheamus isn't a bad wrestler, but the character has absolutely no depth, and has never got my interest. He just screams "midcarder" to me, although he has been pushed pretty much constantly since his debut.

I think this could be a good thing for him, taking him off tv will give him time to freshen up his character and come back offering something slightly different, which he definitely needs to do. I dont think he will be much of a loss to WWE during this time off.

With all this speculation of who will represent the McMahons at WMXXX (in the speculated control over the WWE stipulation), I sure as heck would not mind Sheamus turning heel and siding with The McMahons. I always felt the Sheamus/Triple H rivalry ended too quickly and it would have been nice to see them have one more physical match.
