I do think your idea of a forum prison makes no sense when you can just ban someone if they're being a disturbance in the forums. Anyways hope you all have a good day today

I do think your idea of a forum prison makes no sense when you can just ban someone if they're being a disturbance in the forums.

That's because you don't know what you're talking about. And I don't mean that as an insult, but rather a simple statement of fact. Literally, that is not an insult, it's just that I know and have thought of things you haven't.

I think the concept of the forum prison is relatively simple and makes sense.
If someone is banned suddenly, then they have zero chance of redemption.
If they are put into the forum's prison, then they do get a 'second' chance to 'reform' themselves and get back out eventually(too bad not may actually take the chance, however).


Simple concept really, not sure why you think it makes 'no sense'.

I think its because although that's the intention of the prison it's actually be come a place where people get sent down here, spout off their shit, then get 50 guys ripping them at once.

I've been guilty of it. Sometimes they deserve. Other times though it does appear a bit harsh.

Well, there is an ignore posters option that can be used(has come in quite useful for me also, you'd actually be surprised the posters I have on my "Ignore List").

I think that those who can't reform themselves and fail at trying to find ways to be accepted are the ones who'll succumb to being 'ripped'(majority of the prisoners, actually). Nothing can be done for them, and I don't really see it as being 'harsh' at all.

The people who are put in the prison have the option of not coming back. Yet most continue to log back in, make an idiotic prison thread, and then whine because they're being picked on. Most of them are just attention ****es and trolls. They deserve whatever they get down here.
