Yea, its hard for the first two or three episdoes. Worth it once you get in though. Sooo much better than you think. Probably the best season finale I have ever seen in all my days.

I finally got around to buying The Wire boxset Saturday... 6 episodes in and the show is definitely living up to the hype.

Yeah, it's quite awesome. I only made it up through half of season 4 the first time. In the process of watching it all from the beginning again. Flew through season 1 in like 2 days.

Yep, ran through all of the first season through the weekend... incredible.

I'm 2 episodes into Season 2 right now and this season is already kind of testing my patience, but as long as it all pays off (which I'm sure it does), I have no problem with a slow build.
