Santorum Wins Minnesota and Missouri

Neither Rick Santorum or Mitt Romney are likely to get my vote. I am leaning heavily towards either voting libertarian or writing in Herman Cain. I am not comfortable voting for any of the remaining GOP candidates, so the remaining GOP primaries mean little to me.

Why not Romney? I don't like any of them personally, but if I were a Republican I would probably view Romney as the best of the worst, definitely the most electable. Sure he isn't as socially or financially conservative as some of the others, but he's the best Republican vote, no?

I don't agree with all his views like the fact that he is Pro Life. I think that Still he would probably end up being a better choice than Santorum(who is the real biggest whack job) Mitt or Newt. Even as a supporter I don't think that he would win I just try to have hope. After the 2000 election I stopped believing in voting because after that election we all found out our votes were pointless. The biggest problem I have is how if Ron Paul wants to make pot legal why should he have to go to congress. There’s your proof right there that a President is only a voice. I thought that President decides what right for our country; he is the one who should make the rules. If you read my other thread on legalizing marijuana in the wrestling potluck section, you will find out all the benefits from it. America is corrupt and controlled by corporations. I have a hard time trusting politicians Ron Paul doesn't have my full trust but he makes sense a lot of the time when he talks I finally registered to vote(something I said I would never do) after reading in to some of things Ron Paul wanted to do for our country I registered. At the end of the day we’ll probably just end up have some corporate prick elected president. It’s sad because it seems like to be president you have to be a man of god be rich and have billionaire friends who help pay for your campaign

Your post strengthens the argument for the War on Drugs.

I still don't understand how people can argue that marriage will undermine all family values and ruin our country as we know it. "If those gay guys that live down the street get married my kids are going to lose all sense of morality and become satan worshipping arsonists terrorist gangbanger rapists!"

More surprising is how so many people can support that. Everyone in this country is silly.

The best answer I can come up with is that he doesn't inspire me in the slightest. I won't vote for him just because he isn't Obama, I want to vote FOR a candidate, not just vote against the other guy. Romney just doesn't stir any excitement in me the way Herman Cain did. I was excited about Cain, and once he dropped out, I have kind of been wandering aimlessly. I hoped that one of the remaining Republicans could win me over, none have. Basically, I am just "meh" about the prospect of voting for him, and that just doesn't seem good enough.

I've seen a couple of debates and this Santorum guy is a homophobic jerk. He just makes this faces when someone says something he doesn't like and he is one of those little self-righteous pricks who wants to get to the top s o he can make the world a place that suits him.

Santorum has the most punchable face in the history of politics, all policies aside. Of course they make him MORE punchable even, but his face alone is obnoxious. I'll be back after BJJ later to discredit most of that ******ed fucking link about Ron Paul that Sly posted.

Oh God, don't tell me you're a Ron Paul fan. I used to have respect for you. ;)

I feel like Santorum is the least-electable candidate against Obama. Mitt Romney might stand a good chance in a general election. But Santorum is going to lose worse than McCain did.
