It was done earlier tonight. I like Punk, I like Kane, I'm indifferent to Cena. They're all gods compared to Santino overall.

Why would WWE fire their most entertaining wrestler ? Santino is perfect for comical relief in the middle of a show.

He'll never get stale. He's never repeated the same thing two weeks in a row(exept for the honk-a-meter). He doesnt use catch phrases and such things like some wrestlers use. He just says/does funny shit. That ability will keep him a job in the WWE for a long time.

In 6 months he could/should be ECW champion. He's that damn good.

I nominate this guy for membership. I'd actually do it myself, but I figured we should ask him first. Someone get CCS back in here.

You got to love seeing Cena getting out popped and out cheered by Santino. They even tried pairing Cena with the lovely hometown girl Trish and Cena still got booed. It's also very nice to see Santino in action verse mainevent talent, even if he did get squashed again.

Note to all SFAC members: I will probably not be on again till well after the christmas holidays, so an early merry christmas to all the SFAC members and all who read this.

Hello all, once again the loveable uncle phatso here. Been off for a while with wrestiling pratice and whatnot. Good news I've turned my mom into a full blown santino fan now! Sorry for being gone for so long, but untill next time merry xmas and all hail the great one santino!!!!!!!!

Official Press Release from SFAC Past-President IC25

It's damn time the people in this thread breathe some respectability back into the Santino-Fan-A-Club. A terrific mainstay thread becoming little more than a rip off of the old VIP room's "Jibber Jabber" spam discussion thread? Where's the leadership in this place?

It's time to step it up. If this has been posted already, tough shit, I am an admin and I can do what I want.

Paul Heyman said:
The show-long story of Santino Marella promising to give away a secret about Santa Claus was so moronic, so stupid, so preposterous, if someone other than Santino made the threat, it would just reinforce so many negatives about the mentality of pro-wrestling, and WWE's inability to comprehend how its own actions are perceived by the mainstream.

But once again, Santino's performance was delivered with such comedic genius, it was actually entertaining, and instead of the audience groaning, everyone came along for the fun ride.

THAT'S when wrestling is at its best. When you wink at the audience, say "trust me" and they trust you...and you deliver.

The return of Trish Stratus was handled perfectly. It was a feel-good moment in front of a hot crowd, with Trish and Beth Phoenix giving the live and television audience just enough — but not too much — to feel like everyone saw something special, while not really giving anything away.

John Cena pinning Santino makes perfect sense, because Santino can lose almost every night. As a matter of fact, he should lose almost every night, because his character is better off that way!

There was no need for Trish to beat Beth Phoenix, who needs to keep her heat as the Womens Champion under the trying circumstance of standing next to the hysterical Santino each week.

Cena pinning Santino was logical, smart booking, and much like when Santino was built up for the confrontation with Stone Cold Steve Austin, it shows you don't always have to spend main event equity to deliver a satisfying payoff.

This write-up by Paul Heyman was a lucid and wonderful assessment of the true skills of our hero, the great Santino Marella.

The fact is, few people on either the RAW, SD, or ECW rosters embody the WWE's vision of "entertainment" quite like Santino Marella. The man is so good with his comedic timing, that fans give him a clean slate week in and week out. Give me another wrestler who can have the putrid win-loss record Mr. Marella owns, and still remain both fresh and still be main eventing a Monday Night Raw against the World Heavyweight Champion.

How many people thought Santino had run his course after his first IC Title reign? And how about after Maria dumped him and made out with Snoop Dogg? He keeps brining fresh material to the table and making the crowd simultaneously laugh out loud AND still get heel heat. Crowds laugh at him and stand when his music hits, because they know this could very well be the highlight of the show. And then they still boo him and cheer when he loses. It's still satifying to see Santino get beaten by the face.

And even despite this fact, he's had one of the longer IC Title reigns this year, with more defenses I might add. I actually don't count Jericho's title reign in early '08, because he defended maybe twice.

Folks, RAW is improving week to week - and Santino is proving he can more than keep up with a train picking up steam.

"A-listen-here-a-Baptista!

My daddy was 'elty" alla-dee-time!"
lol

Oh man, Santino is gold. I really wish they had let him have the Honka-A-Meter and had let him really actually complete the 65 weeks.

I went to the Supershow last night and the crowd loved him. Ofcourse, this was until he called Canada number two which turned them on a dime.

It's great seeing him get the main event exposure he deserves; Heyman was right in saying that nobody else could get that angle over.

I have officially defected from the KFNF Crub.

Well SFAC, I hope you had a great holiday. I had planned to wish everyone the best, but was computerless for a week before Christmas, and Blackberry lost service. I hope you had a great time and hope you tuned into Raw for a great main event. Santino in the Main Event seemed so natural. I loved it.
