My problem is that it makes the IC title look even more worthless than it already was. It appears as if anyone that can roll someone up can be a champion. The IC title matches used to be the highlights of several cards, now its all comedy.

The title is merely a prop, a vehicle for building guys. The more times he wins with that bullshit roll up, the more it builds and builds the rub whomever owns him is going to get.

I'm not talking about guys like Hardy and Jericho's most recent. Those reigns are a big part of the reason the title is worthless now. WWE has done an amazing job of making the lead title on Raw the only one that means a damn thing. All of the other three get maybe one good match a year. I'm talking about stuff like when Benoit, Angle and Jericho had feuds for it. Maybe this is just me missing the older days, but I can't stand that the "second biggest title on raw" is being treated. If this was something like the hardcore or European title it would be great.

What bothers me is that I thought with Kofi, is was starting to get back some value. A young guy that was over, not boring, putting on decent matches, and is now getting an upper midcard push with the title. You're right about the 5 years thing though. When was it last defended at Mania?

The reason why I dislike him is not because he is not funny, I actually think he is quite humorous. The reason why I can't get into Santino is because he doesn't display his wrestling skills.

That can also be said about Charlie Haas.
If he displays real technical wrestling then people would take him seriously. If he was taken seriously people wouldn't find him as funny. The fact the he wins via roll ups and running around adds to the humor.
