Sam's Thread of Chattin' w/ Jake & Other Robust Subjects

It makes me happy that people are starting to come around on how dreadfully overrated Ridley Scott is.

Speaking of, just got done with Prometheus.

That was, uh.....An elaborate way to get were we was going.

I still don't understand why they impregnanted Shaw with the engineer weapon. Huh?

Thor on Asgard doesn't work for me.

Nor should it. Asgard was the nerd stank that I found just too odious.

Gravity's technically impressive but I just found it rather dull and lifeless and, well, boring. This year's Inception, basically. The deserving winner of Empire's film of the year. In November.

Yeah there are three in the running for Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot, Elodie Yung, and Olga Kurylenko) though I wouldn't be surprised if this was Supergirl too.

The strange move is Adam Driver rumoured to be cast as Dick Grayson. He's far too old for Robin and a strange choice for Nightwing.

Yeah I reckon Grayson and Wonder Woman would be cameos to have their own spin off movies.

They're also apparently doing a Green Lantern sequel.

Little too late DC. They should make a JSA movie.

Once you've made a film with Superman & Batman together the impact of a Justice League film is lessened.

You do a Man Of Steel sequel and end it with Batman appearing. Just watch the jizz fly.

I think it's because WB need money. Harry Potter is gone, the Nolan trilogy is gone, Hobbit will be gone with in 2014.

In 2015 Disney will have Avengers and Star Wars.

Probably. But they're going about it the wrong way.

If The Avengers, made up of Marvel's former B & C team, can make as much money as it did. Then a Justice League film starring DC's two biggest properties should be one of the biggest films ever. Once I've seen Batman & Superman in the same film, I'm not sure why I'd get more excited just because they've added Wonder Woman & The Flash to the next film.

Yeah definitely they need to have done a Samuel L Jackson style post credit scene with Batman.

Just follow The Avengers template. Introduce Wonder Woman into a Man Of Steel sequel, Batman at the end. Green Lantern had his film, nobody cared. He's clearly the Hulk of the piece. Flash is Hawkeye, making up the numbers.

Well yeah Flash is getting his TV show as is Green Arrow so people know who the characters are.

Sam, let's take a moment to reflect on some of your early work fetishizing CM Punk:

Beautiful, isn't it?

Yeah I heard that, I don't agree with it. Manhunter makes most sense.
