Splitting my time between it and Grand Theft Auto is making sure I don't progress much in either. I'm not even past the second bloody gym yet! The game made a mistake giving me the opportunity to grab a butterfree early on; I'm decimating everyone in my path with one pokemon. Exp. Share has been buffed beyond belief. Really am enjoying it though. If nothing else, the novelty of a 3D Pokemon game is fantastic.

I cant help but to start tapping into my inner Y2Jake every time I try to watch The Gangs Of New York. Its impossible for me to not begin to zone out at about the 28 minute mark

I found the game enjoyable but easy.

I celebrated the release of X/Y by pulling out an old Gameboy and Gold cartridge, which will likely be the sum of my video game time in 2013. Based on my experience over the last week, I can't help but think Pokemon's always been easy.

It's the post-game stuff that's designed to be challenging. The main story is largely smooth sailing with a few hiccups thrown in just to make sure you're paying attention. Of course, there's also competitive play for those among us who enjoy an eternity of grinding to try to produce something remotely close to a viable team.

Captain Phillips has one great scene, and many dull ones. It's an ordeal, just not always in the right way. Don't know where those "sympathetic Somalis" that Empire were talking about were; I hated those *****.

Look at Iron Man and Thor snuggled up together. This one has nerd stank all over it, only some of which I'm happy to roll about in like a pig in shit. Sitting next to a tween girl and watching it in Greenwich, where half the film is based, lead to far too many titters for my liking. The tween girl may well have came whenever Tom Hiddlestone was on screen. Interesting.
