Somebody forced me to see The Stone Roses live (this/last year?) and I did my damnnedest to get out of it. Unfortunately I found out the tickets were hard to get hold of, other people wanted them, etc, so I simply had to go just so I could stand around and show little I cared.

Marginally excited for Man Of Steel. The actor playing Superman was excellent in the tv series The Tudors. I didnt realize it was him until I paid attention to the advert for the first time on sunday.

Do people see 3D films if they're given the choice? I mean I know people see them, but I thought it was just a case of them looking up film times and not paying attention.

Filth looks like a mess. But it's a mess I want to see. I also like the book, despite Irvine Welsh doing his best to annoy me (yet again!) by writing in Scottish. If I wanted to read a book I needed to concentrate on I wouldn't be reading Irvine Fucking Welsh.

Behind the Candelabra is very enjoyable, but wears out its welcome before the end. Can't say I'll be crushed to see Soderbergh leaving movie directing behind, though I do wonder where I'll get my fix of three star films now.

Not particularly hot on The Iceman. Too sleek to be a true life gangster tale, too rough to be a balls to the wall thriller.

Re-watched Wrestling With Shadows last night. Bret Hart clearly isn't that sharp and civilian Vader sounds like Zach Galifianakis.

Also, after watching The Backyward & Beyond The Mat again, the only wrestling documentary made that looks professional is that Louis Theroux Weird Weekend.

Edit: Oh, and Man of Steel is supposedly as good as, well, your typical Zack Snyder film. Getting a worse critical response than Superman Returns (which is charming, if a little dull). I don't know what I was expecting.
