X-Men - 3/5 - a bit wonky in retrospect, now that everyone is kinda getting the comic book thing down

From Dusk Til Dawn - 3/5 - Less fun than I recall. Probably because I am far less impressed by boobs now than I was at 15. And what the FUCK was with the very end scene? "Oh, less than 24 hours ago, you kidnapped me and the rest of my family, leading to them being brutally murdered....can I come with you now?"..."no....go home"

Clash Of The Titans (2010) - 3/5 - I dont understand what everyone found so offensive about this. People made this out to be the worst movie ever made.....It was fair enough, for summer popcorn bullshit, despite some pretty terrible hair / makeup.

Props to the big, scary guy who cried during About Time and didn't care who knew it.

Batista is in Riddick. And he'd be one of the worst things in the film if he didn't have a lot of competition for that spot.

Yeah but it failed to live up to it's predecessor Remember the Titans. Completely different feel.

Enjoyed it but I thought it could have done with more Brolin.

Needed to be tighter and more focused. A film based on a rivalry should make me feel invested in the rivalry. There's two or three scenes where they passively aggressively trash talk... and I just didn't feel it at all. And this is from a guy who likes Formula One. The third act is solid, despite what comes before.

A waste of £9.40 (Jesus Christ!) but not a Thursday evening.
