Sam's Thread of Chattin' w/ Jake & Other Robust Subjects

1. Django Unchained - 4
2. Batman Under the red hood - 4
3. Zero Dark Thirty - 3
4. Batman and Superman: Apocolypse - 3
5. V/H/S - 1

All the hype for that? Cool idea. Poorly executed. A fucking chore at some points.

1) AQA not 118.

2) I didn't have a degree most the time I worked there.

3) To earn £100,000, I would have answered about 400,000 questions.

Nostalgia.

You can watch whatever DVD's you want whilst at my house. You must treat them with care though. Under no circumstances must you take the DVD's home, or touch the underside of the discs.

The DVD Room is just like a panic room, but without and video cameras.

I dunno, Time Magazine offered me a subscription this morning. Just £20 and I get a free watch. Tempting.

What is in Time magazine?

No idea. All I know is they once photoshopped pants onto a dead body.

I'll pay the subscription & pay you minimum wage if you become my nanny.

The fridge is always full. But me and the child have a limited diet. I will give you money to buy some stuff.

Is it ok to feed a nine month ofd Rich Tea Biscuits?

I can't see why not. They have some teeth by then, right?

This is a conversation which actually happened:

Sam what did you mean in OCW when you said how many pages?

There was over a thousand when I last checked. That's Board Room length. Unless the forum was fucking with me.

It's longer than the board room and the pointless thread. I odn't know what the admin board room looks like but as far as threads that I can see it's the biggest on WZ.

Doubt the admin board room gets posted in much.

And that it's paved with gold and Jake pondering how to torment me.

Also, so many IC25 virtual high fives that your mind would explode to even look at it.

It's my goal to one day get in there.

Ever watch My Name Is Earl? That attractive Mexican cleaner goes full frontal in Flight. It happens right at the beginning, it's actually worth sticking with after that as well.

My cinema is showing Flight on Friday, a week after it came out, and, get this, not showing Wreck-It Ralph. Still, I do rather like the maid from My Name is Earl. ★★★★★

Those stars should be red. She deserves it.

So many films I'm seeing at the cinema at the moment just for the sake of it. I actually want to see Wreck-It Ralph. And Die Hard. Strangely excited for Die Hard.

I watched Kill List then. Thought the ending was poor and was done for the sake of being shocking, not necessarily good. Not the craziest film I've watched, but still a little disturbing.

Oh yes, and Django Unchained is bloody brilliant.

Backed away from my traditional trip to the movies when in NH as the choices were Les Mis, Lincoln, Silver Linings Playbook and Hansel and Gretel - none of which appealed to me.

Instead, I had to make do with finally watching the Avengers (Hulk bitch-slapping Loki was the stand out moment), Dark Knight Rises (tries too hard and is the weakest of the trilogy), Wreck It Ralph (enjoyable) and a fourth film that I cannot remember on the plane journeys.

I've now read enough "No, it's just a really good movie" comments (after the "Great date movie" ones) that Silver Linings probably would have appealed to me. Too late now. C'est la vie.

I probably liked The Avengers a great deal more than you and, judging from your comments, like The Dark Knight Rises about the same. Kudos.

A night in the life of Tastycles:

Find "TNA's greatest matches" on the world renowned Extreme Sports Channel (Sky 419).

Matt Morgan vs. Jeff Hardy.

Look for Nigerian Idol.

  6. Les Misérables ★★★
  7. Gangster Squad ★★

Welp, I guess it's official - Zemeckis < Spielberg. But, like Lincoln, I could have done without the last five minutes. That's what we in the biz call a "high three star."

One you're got over seeing Sonic & friends there's no reason to stick with Wreck-It Ralph. I Give It A Year had some excellent jokes in an otherwise forgettable film. Die Hard, This Is 40 and possibly Holy Motors later this week.
