Really? REALLY? Tony Hawk got a higher seeding than Chrono Trigger? This is an atrocity. Anyway getting over that fact, this is an easy choice for me, and it goes to Chrono Trigger. What does TH2 have to offer? Redundant gameplay that gets old very quickly, a ridiculous physics engine that allowed you to ollie damn near 15 feet into the air while standing still, and the same tired out goals.
Chrono Trigger offers you an in depth story, great RPG elements and strategies that are required to pass through some of the tougher bosses. It also had the possibility of numerous endings, giving you quite a bit of replay value. TH2 had replay value, but the only time I ever found that to be true is when my friend and I were absolutely shit faced and facing off against one another heads up. I play video games mostly solo so to me that's a moot point. Chrono Trigger should win this and move on.

While I LOVE Chrono Trigger Ty, I can't vote for it here. I skated alot as a kid and was obsessed with the sport for many years, and when me and my friends weren't out breaking bones, we were inside living out the glory we wished we could in real life. Some kids dreamed about gridiron glory while playing Tecmo, some of us dreamed of halfpipe glory while busting out insane trick combinations that no mortal could ever logically perform. It didn't matter, it was fun as hell, the soundtrack was great, and it had an absurd amount of replay value. I could toss it in right now and dominate again.
Is Chrono the better original game? Probably. Nevertheless, THPS 2 and the entire series was an integral part of growing up, and I'll never tire of them. Gets my vote here.

I damn sure love these two games! Wanna see how Crono rapes TH2 on this one though. Seriously, how can 13 endings go wrong at all?! I got it, and I can't even get 3 endings, and I still get to playing it.
But also, remember that TH2 brought some of its own to the map of skating games because of it improving everything that was previous on THPS. And it has a great replay value to me, even today.

Chrono Trigger was a very good game and is definetly underrated, but I gotta go with Tony Hawk here. It was one of my favorite games of all time. The fact that you could do so many ridiculous moves was one of the reasons it was great. There were a ton of different places to skate, as well as create your own park mode. It was a game that you could play with your friends for a whole afternoon. It should definetly get your vote.
