As big as Nakamura is in Japan the Average American has no clue who he is. Giving him a massive push + putting him over Lesnar is a good way to get the average WWE fan to hate him.
While it does suck that Cena won't be available for Wrestlemania this year, it does leave a Phenomenal vacancy on the card. Hard to say what the main event will be now though.

I think they have to do Rock vs. Brock at this point, if Rock is cleared to wrestle. Reigns vs. HHH for the title and Undertaker vs.... who knows. Will Sting be ready to go?
The Rock will not wrestle.
He will be filming a movie and his contract with the Hollywood studio that is producing it will not allow him to wrestle.
Unless he negotiated that in ahead of time, there's simply no way the studio runs that risk.
A movie has a set release date that millions of dollars of promotion depend upon, it has to be filmed, edited and ready to go on time. If he were to get hurt (even a shiner on his eye) let alone a major injury that delays filming, the studio loses major money.
Rock can be there to do a promo and maybe do 1-2 moves in a "beat down" of someone for the pop but he will not do a full match. I am 99.9% sure of this.

Or it will be 'John Cena vs. R-Truth and Little Jimmy for the WWE Title as the main event' levels of terrible.
Judging from the last few weeks, it seems like they might be on the path for the former. But who knows.
So many ripple effects...the entire WM card just got shaken up now that Taker needs an opponent.
