This is a first round 5-on-5 Survivor Series Match in the 2010 Wrestlezolympics. This match follows traditional Survivor Series rules. Once one team has eliminated all 5 men on the opposing team via pinfall, submission, count-out, or DQ, the match ends, and the surviving team advances.

The match will open for discussion on Friday, January 29th, and voting will begin on Saturday, January 30th. This is a non-spam thread, so if you decide to post, you must provide reasons why you are backing a particular wrestler. You may vote without posting.

To make discussion interesting, please take the time to explain who wins / loses falls and who the surviving wrestlers will be.

WHEN VOTING, YOU MAY ONLY VOTE FOR MEMBERS OF ONE TEAM OR THE OTHER. ONLY VOTE FOR THOSE WRESTLERS YOU FEEL WILL SURVIVE AND BE STANDING AT THE END OF THE MATCH!!!

The poll is up. You may notice that you can vote for multiple people in this thread, which is true - but ONLY VOTE FOR PEOPLE FROM ONE TEAM OR THE OTHER! The idea here is to vote for the people you feel will be left standing at the end of the match. For example, if you think that Team New Zealand will win and that Pat O'Connor will be the sole survivor, ONLY vote for O'Connor. If you feel Team Mexico will win and both Canek and Guerrero will survive, vote for BOTH Canek and Guerrero. The team with the most votes of survival will win!

More domination here.

I'll even go for another sweep here as NZL is made up of three jobbers, an ok Tony Garea and Pat O'Connor. Mysterio and Guerrero could likely win this on their own. I mean seriously, does anyone expect anything from the Bushwackers here? Even as the Sheepherders they would be outmatched here. Easy win for our neighbors to the south.

I'd say Jones is out first here, since general perception is that he's quite shit, and I'd have to agree. El Santo, being awesome, does the need. The Bushwackers go at it with Eddie and Rey for awhile, with the Mexicans eventually eliminating the New Zelanders, but not before a good licking.

5-2 now as Garea comes in. He was formindable, wasn't he? Enough to beat Rey, that's for sure. However, as soon as Rey is out, Eddie hits a quick rollup to make the score 4-1. O'Connor comes in and we got ourselves a comeback. Eddie goes down, since he was overrated. O'Connor slugs it out with Mil for awhile, and eventually is able to even the score at 2-1. The crowd is going nuts now and O'Connor isn't even tired yet. Remember, him and Lou Thesz once wrestled for 9 hours to a draw. Riveting stuff. However, El Canek and Santo is just way to much for one man to handle, and the Mexicans win and take off for a siesta.

Survivors: El Canek and El Santo

All five will survive on Team Mexico. Jones and The Bushwhackers would go out straight away, which would leave us with 5 on 2 and O'Connor and Garea. As good as Garea might be compared to the rest of his team, he is still outmatched by a team consisting of two American world champions, two Mexican World Champions and the most notable Luchador of all time, so he'd be out after a valiant challenge.

We're then down to O'Connor against 5, and as good as he was, he is unlikely to be able to pin any of them without one of them breaking up the pin, so it's a 5-0 win here.
