Team Russia (RUS) vs Team Japan (JAP)

This is a first round 5-on-5 Survivor Series Match in the 2010 Wrestlezolympics. This match follows traditional Survivor Series rules. Once one team has eliminated all 5 men on the opposing team via pinfall, submission, count-out, or DQ, the match ends, and the surviving team advances.

The match will open for discussion on Friday, January 29th, and voting will begin on Saturday, January 30th. This is a non-spam thread, so if you decide to post, you must provide reasons why you are backing a particular wrestler. You may vote without posting.

To make discussion interesting, please take the time to explain who wins / loses falls and who the surviving wrestlers will be.

WHEN VOTING, YOU MAY ONLY VOTE FOR MEMBERS OF ONE TEAM OR THE OTHER. ONLY VOTE FOR THOSE WRESTLERS YOU FEEL WILL SURVIVE AND BE STANDING AT THE END OF THE MATCH!!!

The poll is up. You may notice that you can vote for multiple people in this thread, which is true - but ONLY VOTE FOR PEOPLE FROM ONE TEAM OR THE OTHER! The idea here is to vote for the people you feel will be left standing at the end of the match. For example, if you think that Team Russia will win and that Alex Kozlov will be the sole survivor, ONLY vote for Kozlov. If you feel Team Japan will win and both Misawa and Kobashi will survive, vote for BOTH Misawa and Kobashi. The team with the most votes of survival will win!

Total clean sweep here.

Seriously, that Japanese team is STACKED. There is no one of note at all on the Russian team that would have a chance in hell in this. They're mainly jobbers to say the least while the Japanese team has.....Yokozuna as their weak link? A two time WWF champion is the weak link. That's saying a lot. THis is one sided and pure domination.

I'll throw Russia a bone and say that Nikita Koloff could eliminate Liger, but that's about it. Japan has a great team and Russia has a shit team. The Japanese team wins this easily with at the very least 4 survivors.

For fuck's sake does Russia have a chance at all here? Both Koloffs and Volkoff are eliminated early as they are more or less exactly the same. Japan lets Yoko get the pins just to boost his self esteem.

Kozlov beat the Undertaker before. Remember? That was before he lost to everyone on the ECW roster, or so it seems. Kobashi KILLS him. The other Kozlov is the last one left. From what I here he is quite the cruiserweight. He puts on a show for the fans with Liger for awhile, but then Yoko comes in and eats him. Game over.

I think Yoko will go early on here. He doesn't have any stamina, and I think between them, the Russians would get a pin. Then they'd lose heavily. Volkoff would go first, then The Koloffs and then Alex Koslov would hit a few moves before being levelled and eliminated. Vladimir Kozlov probably wouldn't last much longer against the other four and it'll be a 4-0 win here.
