Rapper Cena vs Super Cena.. ?

Cena merch sells well at the WWE shop. So the jersey wearing rapper will not come back. Also he would hurt Truth's gimmick as they do the same thing.

not really actually.. what would be a better way to give truth a push, then to team him up with cena? it worked for bourne, and that was a one night thing. Cena/Truth vs Miz/Y2J? hell, i'd watch that.

could be like.. i dunno, once truth comes back, take cena out of the title pic for a bit to start a team (same as HHH did when they re-did DX) move cena out of there, so HHH can do the big title run again, cena and truth form a hip-hop style team.. it'd be pretty entertaining actually. and would sell a hell of a lot more of Cena's CD's. i mean, i know it probably wont happen, but it would be the only way you're going to give a real push to truth at this point.

HAHA that would be pretty funny actually.. but after last night, if they keep cena like that? the angry, ruthless kind? thats alright. would be a decent change for sure. i was quite surprised by it. hell, didnt even hear many "Cena Sucks" chants, i think because everyone was kinda shocked that the boy scout was taking a page out of the Nexus book

CONGRATULATIONS!! You have successfully figured out the formula to every wrestling match that doesn't end in a non-finish or a DQ!! I don't know how anyone ever missed that for the last 40 years! To think it was a formula so simple!

Really though, how can that not be said of almost every other performer?

It can not be said of almost every other performer. A lot do it, true, but it is not nearly as emphasized with ANYONE as much as it is with Cena. They seriously over do it in his matches. And I can think of plenty of matches in which that has not happened, whether it be over the past week or more. Do not shoot down others opinions so ignorantly.

The idea of the babyface coming out to fight, starting out good, getting owned in by the heel for a stretch of time, and making the comeback to end the match is nothing original or unique to Cena. And I've even seen plenty of Cena matches that don't even progress that way. The problem isn't Cena, it's just that you don't like seeing him. That's fine and dandy, but to start accusing him or creative of using a provably efficient style of booking matches that has been used for far longer than even Cena has been with the company is childish and short sighted. I distinctly remember plenty of Stone Cold and Rock matches that went the same way. Get over it, kid.

that is true yes, in most cases very true with those 2, as well as hogan. but. there were also a lot of super heels back then too, remember HHH winning his first world title? i think most people had the rock picked there to "beat all odds and win the big one" there really isn't any SUPER heels around these days, like yes, there are a few good ones, but not as many great ones like we use to have, where they would go out there, and face top guys, and would win, no, now we get sheamus vs...mark henry? maybe with the whole nexus angle they have some actual heels to work against cena with. i think the high point for heels vs Heroes, sadly enough, was the ECW/WCW vs WWF invasion story. they were for the most part, unpredictable. who saw austin turning his back on the WWF to become a heel? (also, there is proof that the face of the company CAN become heel, and STILL have the top sales, and have people pay big money to come see him) and he still won most of his matches over the top faces. so well it's usually the case of the top face RISING up from near defeat, and beating the stronger, badass heel, it's not ALWAYS the case. Edge held the title for how long on smackdown? and faced a lot of the company's top guys too.

You want Cena as a heel? I say there'd be no better heel than Super Cena, as he is now. You take away his pandering to the audience and instead of having him fight the bad guys, have him fight the good guys.

Don't change anything about his move set, either. It'll piss everyone off to see him make those epic comebacks against the beloved heroes. He wouldn't have to diss the fans or anything. Just watching him win over and over would get him enough heat that the arena's would explode.

yeah.. sorry Yrrab, but i really dont see that one happening. there isnt anyone able to take the "face of the company" spot. as big as orton is, he's the anti hero right now, and without a top babyface, it wouldnt work. also he's fueding with nexs (all heel) and the main RAW heels backed out of the fued with them, so it REALLY wouldnt work

Absolutely, and I hope he doesn't turn heel for a good while. My point was people keep coming up with the craziest shit for him to turn heel, why not just keep him the same but put him against all the good guys?

really the problem with it, is he has to take the whole thing on, on his own. so no one to share the blame with. wit hthe 90's you had Bret and Shawn as the Top faces, then towards the end of the 90's you had the good guys DX, Stone Cold, The Rock, ect, so while there was THE face, there was those other top guys who helped out, where as right now? more and more people are against Cena the more it becomes just about him, which could be why they are doing the Evan Bourne Hype, but that wont work i dont think. last year John had DX to help share the load, and really i'd say they were bigger than him even. But untill HHH comes back, it's all on Cena, and there will be more and more heat towards him

John Cena is THE FACE OF THE COMPANY! He needs a Super Hero gimmick right now. Especially because WWE is PG and there are a lot of kids are watching.

Orton could work, but he is ant-hero. He's a tweener (Sorta, because he RKO's faces, but still gets a face reaction.)

But, Rapper Cena was the best IMO, I liked the gimmick a whole lot better. It never really got stale. (Probably because we didn't see it for long.)

But I still go by my word, Cena shouldn't turn heel or anything. He is fine the way he is right now.

Can you not read? I NEVER said it was unique to Cena, I said in WWE's current period, it is much more emphasized with Cena than with anyone else. And that is very true. You say that opinion is childish and short sighted, but ithats an opinion that I NEVER stated. So don't put words in my mouth as I never said ONLY Cena uses it, all I said was that it is emphasized much more in his matches than in MOST cases. And as for you saying I don't like seeing Cena, that's wrong, I do not dislike seeing Cena at all, I just don't like the way he is booked.

When it comes to which one i liked better... It was definately the rapper cena. The superhero Cena is pretty boring and when he was a laid back rapper, he might not of had the best in ring skills but he was wayyyyyy better on the mic and i just like him better back then.

As far as if he will go back to the rapper gimmick, absolutely not. He's making Vince way to much money ad attracting way to many kids to be turned back no. He's way to over with the crowd. I wish he would at least turn heel, even if he doesn't use his old gimmick. Cena' character is getting way to stale and he needs a change.

The rapper Cena was better alll around except when it came to getting money and getting kids.

Cena needs to be a heel period he could alter the way wwe is seen just like Hogan did with the nwo I think ultimately he should be the leader of nexus and bring the attitude of the rapper cena back. The John that insulted everyone was much more entertaining.
