Now, neither one of us knew what the context of the previous conversation was, but my mother's not an idiot. I'm sure she would know what the term means. Still, her next statement made me wonder:

I didn't say anything to her, but now I'm starting to wonder. Sure, she could've mistaken what the DJ was saying, as I could have, but like I said, she's pretty smart.
