Lol.... indeed. He just happened to stumble upon it by being bored enough to read the class descriptions in the course handbook one day. Even Kirilah missed this loophole and she has an 18 Intelligence which is highest you can get without Class/Race bonuses.

Frog was awesome. Probably my favorite too in terms of character development, him or Magus. I always felt he got the shaft though in terms of his Single Techs. Marle was a far better healer and by the time the other melee guys got their advanced Single Techs they all outclassed him. Frog Squash was basically worthless. Only problem I had with the character. He had some amazing Double and Triple Tech combos though like X Strike or Delta Storm.

I think the first time I played through the game I actually killed Magus. He had a scythe, he looked evil, and being a kid he scared me.

Completely understand that. My 4th grade self thought he was scary too, and that creepy theme music playing in his battle only adds more to it. I didn't know he'd join if you saved him so I'd have killed him too the first time though but what did it for me was his face turn in the Ocean Palace. Revealing himself as the true identity of the prophet and attacking Lavos was such epic stuff at the time. Maybe I should start up an anti-heroes thread over in The Media Hub, Magus would be a shoe-in for that discussion.

Agreed 100%. He never left my party in my original play through from the moment he re-joined, not even once. I still use him pretty often. Chrono, Ayla, and Marle is my most used party though. Luminaire by Chrono, Triple Kick by Ayla if Marle is healing or Cube Toss by the two of them. I tend to switch over to Magus/Lucca/Marle in the end though because Dark Eternal is the deadliest Triple Tech in the game.

New Orleans may take that spot, even with Westbrook playing out of his mind lately. Without Ibaka who is going to play defense? Not KD, that's for sure.

If I may join in on the NBA talk, the Thunder will be fine without Ibaka and Durant for the time being. Durant really needs to come back though. But I believe in the Thunder's big men (McGary, Collison, Adams, Kanter) and they're doing good work right now. Losing Ibaka is a huge blow but they'll be fine. Don't see them going far without Ibaka and Durant playing at a high level though. First round exit maybe. The Pelicans are surprising me. But I don't think AD has enough help for them to make the playoffs.

Delayed response, but I have a feeling your Pacers drove the final nail into the coffin of the Thunder's chance at the playoffs. We have to beat Portland and Minnesota while hoping the Pelicans drop a game. They have Minnesota and the Spurs. I don't think it is happening.

Is Ibaka out indefinitely as well? I thought he'd be back before the season ends, oh well. Don't count out the Thunder just yet though. Westbrook got his technical foul rescinded and has a better supporting cast that AD. I'd be shocked not to ser the Thunder as the #8 seed tbh.

It was so disheartening to watch that Spurs/Pelicans game while watching the Thunder sail over the Wolves. With the injuries we have had this year, we did the best we could, I guess.

Injuries pretty much killed us too. Hopefully next year we get healthy and make another run.
