Puro fans, UNITE!

I have no idea who BxB Hulk is. But Ibushi is good for the soul. As long as he never comes to WWE. I don't think he'd be able to do what Gabriel (i.e. drop the spots and play nice) did and keep enough of what made him a special performer. He'd still be mindblowing, but he wouldn't be the Kota that makes me want to watch Puro.

Completely agree. Ibushi would be terrible for the WWE and the WWE would be terrible for Ibushi. But, then again there's only a few guys currently in Japan that I think would be able to make it in the WWE and most of them are in New Japan.

He's a nice cruiser weight probably in his early 30's. He wrestles for Dragon Gate and has done quite a bit for him. Complete chick magnet for Dragon Gate. I honestly don't know a ton about him because I've just recently started watching Dragon Gate, but from what I've seen from him I've enjoyed. If you wanna learn some more your best option is to probably just watch some random matches of his.

It would be worse than Sin Cara. Much worse. Sin Cara can work with people who can work Lucha. Who the hell could keep up with Ibushi? The guy can turn a powerbomb into a suplex (something he should totally do more often)

I might do that. Depends if I like him vs Ibushi. And it's battle of the Bishonen in their match then. Probably why they were paired together tbh.

The only guys that I can think of that have any puro experience would be Yoshi Tatsu, Chris Jericho (though it's from over a decade ago) and Lord Tensai. We all know Lord Tensai vs Ibushi would be a total train wreck, Chris Jericho would be meh and Tatsu wouldn't be that great either.

Oh and Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara have a tiny bit of puro experience as well. But, not that much.

Sin Cara can't carry a match though. It's not so much that the Puro style is incompatable with WWE's. It's that Ibushi works the exact opposite way to WWE expects and wants at a pace that nobody else will be able to keep up with.

Not going to lie though, I'd love to see Justin Gabriel vs Kota Ibushi.

Due to NOSAWA being dumb and getting caught smuggling weed. Black Tiger (who is played by NOSAWA) will not be competing in BOSJ. His replacement has not been announced. Though there are rumors that Madoka will be replacing him. Also, New Japan will be holding a press conference tomorrow about BOSJ. So, expect a replacement to be named tomorrow.

He was the latest Black Tiger? What a shame and poor choice of a wrestler to don the mask. At least Silver King won't be the worst Black Tiger in history anymore.

Here's the part where I hope Kota gets inserted in his stead. What? You were expecting something else out of me?

Yupp he's Black Tiger VII I believe. Haven't seen any of his matches, but I've heard he's pretty bad.

I would love that, but I doubt it.

NJPW announced that Hiromu Takahashi will be replacing Black Tiger VII in the BOSJ. I'm fine with this. Hiromu is a decent young wrestler in New Japan and this will be a nice experience for him.

I fucking love the line-up on this year's BOSJ. Lots of fresh faces like PAC, Sasaki, and BUSHI plus guys you don't normally get to see in Japan anymore like Kendrick and Low Ki.

It really looks great this year X. I honestly have no idea who's going to win it and I love that. Also X, Low Ki just recently won the Jr. Heavyweight Title from Prince Devitt. So I expect him to stay in New Japan for a little while and AJPW and NJPW came to a agreement to have a talent exchange that will have BUSHI staying in New Japan for a year.

TNA and Pro Wrestling NOAH have recently agreed on a little talent exchange. The first person to go over to Japan will be Magnus in July. Also, TNA is talking to NJPW in possibly using King Fale who is on a training/learning excursion in the U.S.

I'm really interested in the NOAH talent exchange and honestly I really don't care all that much about King Fale, but I'll still be slightly interested to see what he does in TNA.
