I know many people might say Ric Flair is the best wrestler ever, and I truly think he deserved his sendoff.
But having grown up watching this guy grow up...I have to say that Shawn Michaels in my eyes will always be the bar that everyone else is measured against. He's the Showstopper, the Headliner, the Heartbreak Kid. He was in a handful of my favorite matches ever. HBK is without a doubt, for my money the greatest to ever lace up a pair of wrestling boots.

Thank you Shawn for all the memories. I will never forget the man that really got me into wrestling on a cold and rainy night 14 years ago.

Let me just say, that was one of the single greatest episodes of Monday Night Raw I've ever seen. All night long I felt like a kid again, caught up in all of the stories and emotion and drama. By the time Shawn's speech came around, I did infact shed some tears. Several tears. What a beautiful send-off for HBK, I'm just speechless guys. My childhood hero has retired. It's like...a new era.
