I might give it a punt but I'm not really a battler. More than a leisure player, but I've had maybe 3 or so actual link battles.

The ban list is the 2013 ban list which isn't a full legendary list (you've got the rby birds available for example):

Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta and Genesect.

Plus Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde obviously you can't use Diance as that's not available yet.

There will be no moves banned.

Haven't played since Diamond.... I would have been up for it had I played the newer titles but you lost me at the no legendary rule. Legends and starters are the only ones I ever trained. Anything else I caught, evolved, and mostly kept in storage. I'll be around to read the thread and see how it goes though!

I"m around like 65-70.

I'm going to buy one this weekend. I have two boxes of EV trained Pokes and a bunch to breed on the new game.

I need the Destiny Knot because when I get, I'm going to breed the hell out of Pokes.

I suck at competitive battling and don't even know how to get onto Showdown but I'd be up for this if I get the time.

Just for fun I'll chime in on all of them from each game.



Blue: Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise all reached level 100

Gold: Feraligatr got to 100. Typhlosion was around 75. Meganium was 40 at the most, it's been a while.

Emerald: Blaziken maxed out at 100. Swampert and Sceptile barely made it past the evolution levels, no further than 40 on them if I overestimate.

Diamond: Torterra, Infernape, and Empoleon all made it to 100.

Haven't played after that but out of newer starters I like Fennekin a lot. He's probably the one I'd use the most in the new games if I ever get them.

So going off of all of that my previous starters average level should be around 80 to 83.

It was about that on the last playthough. This time in Y I'm jut up to the elite four so I'm in the low 50s I believe.

What's level cap? It would be fun to do a max level one, and like a level 50 one. Max levels get boring it's usually all the same teams, 50's are fun because you have a wider range of pokemon to chose from, that's just what I believe anyways.
