Ongoing Thread For Smarmy Spam Responses to the WZT

I don't, you would have to include the 4 Way at WM2000 as well, maybe even the six pack challenge. Straight up one on one.

Also, Edge could get Hogan in a TLC match if they both win next round. The forum is going to explode if that happens.

But... Hogan's used chairs before! :banghead:

Foleys gone over Warrior in this tourney and I aint voting HHH on the basis of him being an overpushed cunt throughout his entire career.

This says yes.

Its amazing how wording changes what you mean. I am not voting for HHH on the sole basis that he won a lot of matches.

I mean this in the nicest way possible Shattered, but as a largely TNA guy, that's not the kind of argument I'd expect to see you using.

It was at least 60% a parody

Fame does equal money though. Foley was in the highest rated segment of all-time. Since kayfabe is dead in this tournament, I see no reason to be a slave to it. Greatest clearly involves more than just scripted won-loss record.

I'd think Foley would be favored in a Submissions match.

You think a prime HHH would tap to the mandible claw? He'd fucking bite Foley's hand off and put his fat ass in an Indian Deathlock until he tapped with the only hand he had left. Foley's a glorified mid carder he won't go over HHH, I dont recall him ever going over HHH.

I like Foley better, I think overall he's the greater wrestler but I don't see him going over Triple H here. Some people weren't meant to be the top guy and draw and Foley was one of those guys, he's the guy who elevates the top guy to a much higher level so logic dictates Triple H would win here.

Foley ain't tapping but he's getting pinned.

He'd fucking bite Foley's hand off

This has actually been addressed by Foley himself. Vince asked him this question when he brought the hold up to him, and Foley pointed that it's a nerve hold that immobilized the opponent's jaw. So in kayfabe, there's always been a reason why this wouldn't happen

Also, technically speaking, the mandible claw is placed under the opponent's tongue. So unless Triple H is stupid enough to bite his own tongue off, I doubt this happens.

Foley's a glorified mid carder

:lmao:

Foley was one of the top faces during the biggest boom period in the history of professional wrestling, and is one of the few faces that non-fans might know. Calling him a glorified mid carder is absolutely ******ed.

:suspic:

I think Foley is 2-4-1 in big matches against Triple H, so it's not looking good for Mick.

KB what am I missing.
Triple H over Mankind: KOTR 97
Mankind vs. Triple H in a Double Countout: Canadian Stampede
Mankind over Triple H: Summerslam 97 (Steel Cage)
Cactus Jack over Triple H: Raw, September 97 (Street Fight)

Triple H over Mankind: Raw, August 1999 (WWF Championship)
Triple H over Cactus Jack: Royal Rumble 2000 (Street Fight)
Triple H over Cactus Jack: No Way Out 2000 (Hell in the Cell)

The end all is when everything's on the line... which in Foley's case was his Title vs Career match where he was back dropped through the steel cage by HHH. HHH wins the biggest matches. In a submission match, it would be a much tougher battle for HHH, but he could pull out a win.

In any other match, HHH beats Foley.

Highest rated raw segment ever, when it was sarcastically announced he won the title on WCW people turned over. HHH in 2003 anybody?

Foley's beat HHH before, I hate the arguement "well, he won the most times so he'd win this time." Jericho did finally beat Cena after all. Besides, HHH doesn't have a 20 foot drop to assist a win this time. Err, what is the gimmick again?

Whatever, its not a foregone conclusion and when it comes to "impact on the business" and all that other crap, I'd say its highly debatable whether HHH's win/loss record is comparable to Foley's antics.

Once in a great while, I wonder if people are too hard on Dagger. Then I see him vote that he believes Chris Jericho will beat Bruno Sammartino with either a bearhug or a backbreaker and realize that maybe he's actually dumber than we give him credit for.

Well you sure told me Mr. Revolving Door. Any more useless facts that are irrelevant to winning a match you care to give?

You said Foley wasnt a draw or a star. I pointed out you were wrong. If you want to argue that its irrelevant dont bring it up to use against him to start with.
