Ongoing Thread For Smarmy Spam Responses to the WZT

Does it matter if Piper was pinned or not? Did he lose the match? Don't worry I'll wait and let you come up with some sort of bullshit reason has to how him not being pinned by Hogan but still losing means something.

Fact is, idc how Piper lost, he still fucking lost. As in he didn't win. If you read any of my posts regarding this match, I never said that Piper would be pinned by Edge. I said that Edge would win, either by Piper being DQ'd, counted out or something. History shows that this is likely what would happen.

Hogan pinned everyone, except for Piper. I challenge you to name a major heel that Hogan did not end up pinning at some point in the 80s, because you can't...except for Piper. Piper not being pinned by Hogan is a much bigger deal than Edge beating John Cena after he was in an Elimination Chamber.

What Gimmick matches has Foley ever won? He's always gotten his ass kicked by Triple H in them so it's kind of a no-brainer.

Also, Phenom is making me feel really stupid for voting for Edge.

He's pretty good at that. Reading his stuff makes me more proud of myself for not supporting Undi at all.

I saw D Mans post in the Warrior/RVD thread and its so obnoxious I almost wish I could take my vote back and vote Van Dam. If that was a subtle plan of his all along then he's a better poster than I've ever given him credit for.

Sting beating Sid may be the most one sided 2nd round match I've ever seen.

Rock and Slaughter is so painfully obvious that I think the thread has about three posts in it. Not that people don't care about The Rock, it's just not worth expressing why he goes over. But Sid and Sting is in the same class.

EDIT: Actually you're right. i can't remember a match where the opponent didn't even get a single vote from some smarmy so-and-so. At least two people think Slaughter would go over The Rock, may God have mercy on them. Nobody likes Sid, even as a joke.

vs. HHH in MSG in a street fight in 1997, first Raw ever in Madison Square Garden. Cactus piledrove him through a table to win. The Royal Rumble street fight was literally a rematch with the exact same conditions other than for the title.

I'm not arguing that, but in his prime, Foley was almost always the loser in big matches and especially in gimmick matches. Ask anyone what their first memory of a Foley gimmick match is and it'll be him getting hurled off the roof off of the cell and through the announce table. One gimmick win in '97 over Triple H, though nice, isn't much to phone home about.

HHH goes over Foley. Better run during the same era, more major wins, better runs with major titles, and isn't known for blowing himself up or being set on fire.

In any match aside from a Boiler Room Brawl, Foley has little chance to move on here.

Better on every level, and always beat Foley. I dont see how there is an argument. Shit, trips beat him with Foleys CARREER on the line

I think Foley is 2-4-1 in big matches against Triple H, so it's not looking good for Mick.

KB what am I missing.
Triple H over Mankind: KOTR 97
Mankind vs. Triple H in a Double Countout: Canadian Stampede
Mankind over Triple H: Summerslam 97 (Steel Cage)
Cactus Jack over Triple H: Raw, September 97 (Street Fight)
Triple H over Mankind: Raw, August 1999 (WWF Championship)
Triple H over Cactus Jack: Royal Rumble 2000 (Street Fight)
Triple H over Cactus Jack: No Way Out 2000 (Hell in the Cell)

Kb, when does round 3 start then?

Tomorrow.

Unless you count the threway with Austin from Summerslam 99, nothing springs to mind.

Tomorrow.

I don't, you would have to include the 4 Way at WM2000 as well, maybe even the six pack challenge. Straight up one on one.

Also, Edge could get Hogan in a TLC match if they both win next round. The forum is going to explode if that happens.
